Mighty Presence of God, Salvation and a BIG THANK YOU from Pr Daniel / CTFM Live Webcast Sun 1st April

Dear family and friends in Christ,

We thank and praise God for His continued manifest presence as His people unite together to glorify Him as King of kings and LORD of lords!

This is so exciting, because when people experience the manifest presence of God, they cannot deny that Jesus is real and that He is alive!

This last week has been great, as we have been receiving some very exciting testimonies of the wonderful works of the Lord!

1) Pr Daniel ministered over the weekend in Bendigo as more people were mightily touched by the Lord through the Word of God and the powerful testimonies of the many victories in the name of Jesus. On Sunday morning after the service was over, a middle aged man came up to Pr Daniel and shook his hand.  Then when asked whether he was from that church, he said to him, “Pastor, I don’t go to church. I am the owner of the local Pizza outlet. I just came because I heard that you are heading up the Rise Up Australia Party to Keep Australia Australian. I am 100% behind you. How can I help? I really like what your party stands for. I will become a member and distribute your brochures at my outlet.”

This man was so excited that he just kept talking about how he wants to help. Seeing that the man was so touched, Pr Daniel asked him whether he could pray for him and he responded, “Yes, please.” Pr Daniel first prayed for him and then was able to lead him to the Lord. The man accepted Jesus as His Lord and Saviour! What a mighty God we serve! (more…)

A Glorious weekend with the Holy Spirit / Mission Trip Report on Philippines & Sri Lanka

Dear family & friends in Christ,

1) We thank and praise God for another awesome weekend of His mighty presence at our services in Hallam. I am sure you too had a great time in your church.

Pr Daniel spoke on ‘Is the spirit of alcohol in the church the cause of barrenness?’ After this powerful message, many responded to the altar call to break the evil spirit of alcohol.

This DVD can be ordered by emailing angelene@reformationharvestfire.com or calling (03) 9794 8211.

When he first preached this message a few weeks ago, many who listened to it were convicted and stopped drinking alcohol.  Many others emptied their alcoholic drinks in the sink. Many shared their testimonies of how they were completely set free from the demonic bondage of the evil spirit of alcohol after they fully surrendered their lives to Jesus.

At this service many were also mightily touched by the power of the Holy Spirit, and some received deliverance after the service. We thank and praise God that the house of God is the place where you need to be, so that by the power of the Holy Spirit you can be set free and prepared for the coming of the Lord. In His presence there is fullness of joy. Glory to God.

Sri Lanka is Rising Up and Catching the Fire of the Holy Spirit

CTFM team with God\'s precious children at an orphanage in Sri LankaHundreds Worship Jesus at CTFM Revival in Sri LankaDear family and friends in Christ around the World,

We just don’t know where to start our report as the Spirit of the Lord has done so much through Pr Daniel and the CTFM team over the last two weeks in Sri Lanka and Indonesia!

The CTFM team was deeply touched and greatly blessed by the wonderful hospitality and love shown by the body of Christ in both nations. The Lord used Pas Daniel and the team powerfully through the anointing of the Holy Spirit to rise up the body of Christ in unity, prayer, revival and evangelistic mission!

In Sri Lanka a Buddhist country, hundreds gathered to hear the word of God at the revival meetings. Many Christians, including pastors, ministers, and leaders, were mightily challenged to rise up and win the nation for Jesus. Many described the revival meetings as a Holy Ghost explosion and it certainly was! Many people were healed, delivered and set free by the miracle working power of God!

It was so very encouraging to see Bro Vijaya Corea (a very well known media personality in Sri Lanka who was healed of cancer), Rev Asiri Perera (Chairman of the Methodist churches of Sri Lanka), Rev Lakshman Peries (a leading Anglican Minister) join up with many Pentecostal Pastors on stage to stand hand in hand to see Sri Lanka transformed for Jesus. The worship on all 3 nights was absolutely awesome as the people soaked in the mighty presence of God. Pastor Daniel’s daughter Shannen who went with the CTFM team, also led worship at the revival meetings.

Power of God falls in Sri Lanka & Malaysia – Salvations, Healings, Miracles

more than 900 people pack the altar as Ps Daniel ministers at SIB church in KL MalaysiaThank you for loving and helping us AustraliaDear family & friends in Christ,

I am so glad to be back home in Australia after a month overseas.  I arrived back with my wife and daughter late Tuesday night.  Our time away from Australia has been amazing.  As you would have read from my last few emails God moved most powerfully in Israel.

We spent 3 weeks in Sri Lanka & Malaysia on our return from Israel.  In Sri Lanka we caught up with our family and friends. I also had the great opportunity of visiting the 3 Children’s homes (where we feed, clothe & educate around 80 children) and the feeding program (where we feed 150 children lunch every day).  I was so happy to meet with them, and they were also very excited to see me. They all looked so great, happy and well taken care of.

I interviewed many of the kids one on one. The feedback from the kids were full of positive remarks and I am so pleased with the pastors who are taking care of these children. They refuse to call them orphPs Daniel with Dilma tea company owner\'s son at tower they erected to honour Jesusans, they always call them “our children”.
Ps Daniel, wife Maryse, and daughter Brianna in SL
I am so grateful to all of you who assist in keeping these projects running in Sri Lanka through your generous support.  If not for your help, we would not be able to finance them.  Catch The Fire Ministries releases 100% of all finances which come in for ‘Rescue Sri Lanka’ to Sri Lanka.
Some very exciting news, as a result of the feeding projects in 4 towns, now the Pastor I am working with has started 3 new churches and has seen 45 families born again. Thank you so much for financing these projects, as you have played a key role in winning these families to Jesus. Your continued support will be greatly appreciated.

I was in tears when I left each location as the kids came around me and said, “Please don’t go so soon, we love you so much, thank you for caring for us. When are you coming back?”  (more…)

CTFM Israel mission report part 3 / Woman raised from the dead / by Pastor Daniel

Diana with Dr Murray and Geraldine of CTFM in Hospital Dear family & friends in Christ,

I am sure this part 3 report of God’s mighty power at work right in the Nation of Israel will greatly bless and encourage you to know that we serve a God of miracles!

On the last day of our tour in Israel we all boarded the 2 buses and started on our journey to cross the border into Jordan to visit mount Nebo before proceeding to the Amman Airport for our flights the same day.

In my bus was a lady by the name of Diana from Wagga Wagga in NSW, which is 4 hours from Melbourne, Australia, who had joined us on the tour. Also in the same bus was a Doctor by the name of Murray from Western Australia.

All seemed normal, except for the fact that we were sad to leave Israel, so as usual we started worshipping and singing praises to God. I was seated at the front of the bus as I was using the microphone to lead the people in worship.

While we were driving we were also talking about how great it was to visit the tombs of Lazarus and Jesus, as they were both raised from the dead in Israel over two thousand years ago. Suddenly I heard some shouting in the bus. At first I did not take much notice, but then my wife shouted out, “Danny, Danny come here.” She had just noticed something that she had seen a few times in ministry before.

CTFM Israel mission great success – Part 1 / Mini revival in the aircrafts and transit hotel

Flag of IsraelPastor Daniel and his wife leading the CTFM tour in IsraelDear family and friends in Christ,

All glory and honor to the King of kings and the Lord of lords as our mission to Israel which was a great success!

I really do not know where to start. Possibly, there is not enough words to explain all that happened. I cannot write it all at once, but will try to send it across as part 1, 2, 3, etc.

On the 27th May, arouClnd 50 of us from Catch The Fire Ministries boarded the Malaysian Airlines plane in Melbourne. From the time we boarded the aircraft, we knew God was with us and something exciting was going to happen.

As the plane began moving down the runway, we were all very surprised when the pilot said, “Welcome to all at Catch The Fire Ministries. May you all have a great and safe pilgrimage to the Holy Land.” We were so happy and amazed to receive this welcome aboard Malaysian Airlines.

As we were high up in the sky over Australia, all the generals of prayer were ready to fire their weapons of the Holy Spirit (praying in tongues) at 4pm the planned time to unite heaven and earth in prayer. I had told the cabin crew that we were going to pray and suddenly there appeared on all the television screens behind every single seat throughout the whole aircraft the words, “Catch The Fire Ministries please pray for Australia – Ps Daniel.” (more…)

Rash Of Attacks On Christians Reported In Sri Lanka

Colombo, Sri LankaMonday, 17 August 2009  Krishni de Alwis / Compass Direct News News – Featured News

COLOMBO, Sri Lanka—Attacks on Christians in Sri Lanka have surged noticeably in recent weeks, following the government’s defeat of Tamil separatists in May.

Attacks were reported in Puttlam, Gampaha and Kurunegala districts in western Sri Lanka, central Polonnaruwa district, Mannar district in the north and Matara district in the south, according to the National Christian Evangelical Alliance of Sri Lanka (NCEASL).

Most recently, attackers on July 28 set fire to an Assemblies of God church in Norachcholai, Puttlam district, destroying the building. The pastor received frantic calls from neighbors at about 8:45 p.m. reporting that the building was in flames, echoing a similar arson attack almost a year ago that destroyed the original building on the site. Church members have registered a complaint with police, but at press time no arrests had been made.

Praise Reports Sri Lanka & Dubai

By David Herzog

Sri Lankan FlagA historical move of God swept the capital of Sri Lanka that has not been seen in over 30 years! This was the first major evangelistic meeting during a time of peace that was declared only month ago. As we drove out of the airport huge billboards dominated the roads advertising the meetings with “Do you believe in Miracles” with the information. Everynight was packed out with thousands of people, at least 30% of them were unbelievers. Buddhism is the national religion as all the government officals are Buddhists and the stronghold of original Buddhism is based in Sri Lanka as Buddha set up his base in this nation before he died. Even Buddha’s tooth is enshrined in Sri Lanka.

Sri Lanka Peace-Building Mission Learns About Humanitarian Needs, Encourages Christian Leaders, Builds Bridges Of Understanding

Sri LankaBy Michael Ireland – ASSIST News Service

From a variety of meetings with government leaders, human rights lawyers, leaders of Civil Society the statement was consistent: “the Christian Church must lead us in reconciliation.”

(Sri Lanka)—The aftermath of Sri Lanka’s three decades-old armed conflict has displaced more than 300,000 people who are in desperate conditions.

A team of diplomats, business leaders, and church leaders from the United Kingdom, New Zealand, Canada, and the United States recently visited the island on a fact-finding mission.

Its mission was to learn about Sri Lankan humanitarian needs, to encourage fellow Christian leaders, and to build bridges of understanding with non-evangelical Christians, other faiths, and governmental leaders.

The June 1-5, 2009 mission was organized by the World Evangelical Alliance (WEA), an association of national alliances in 128 countries, in response to an invitation by Christian leaders in Sri Lanka. (more…)

Rescue Sri Lanka – Summer Clothes Needed Desperately

Dear family & friends in Christ,

Firstly, I would like to thank everyone of you for your ongoing prayer support for the nation of Sri Lanka, which appears to have just finished a bloody civil war. It is reported that in the past few months thousands of civilians have died and many more injured due to the horrific fighting in Sri Lanka. The government has declared that they have captured all areas controlled by the rebels (LTTE) and that the war is officially over.

However, now comes this most important season of rebuilding this war-torn region, where hundreds of thousands of people are either displaced or have become refugees. My family members who live in Colombo (the capital city )have shared with me some good news that for possibly the very first time Buddhist monks and other clergyman from other religions, along with people from all different race groups were collecting much needed food, water and other essential supplies for the people in the north of the country.
