While we in Australia and in the West enjoy the freedom to worship, Christians around the world are persecuted and attacked for the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
Christians in at least 3 churches badly damaged in Sri Lanka have been attacked while worshipping on Sunday the 12th January 2014.
Assembly of God on the Baddegama Road in Hikkaduwa and the Calvary Free Church were both attacked by the mobs yesterday.

Yesterday the 11th of June 2013 was a very special day for the founder Mr M J Fernando of Dilmah Tea as the Dilmah Tea Company celebrated its 25th Silver Jubilee Anniversary Gala Dinner at the Crown Casino Hotel in Melbourne, Australia.
The National President of Rise Up Australia Party Daniel Nalliah was asked to speak about Dilmah Tea and the family behind the product as Mr Nalliah is a close family friend of Mr Fernando and his family.
They both come from the beautiful land of Sri Lanka, which produces one of the best brands of tea called Dilmah.
Dilmah launched its brand first in Australia 25 years ago and has grown into a multimillion dollar business across the world. Mr Fernando and his two sons Dilhan and Malik who form the name ‘Dilmah’ have been the success of this fantastic product from Sri Lanka (Ceylon).

“Christianity is the most persecuted religion in the world.” So asserted German Chancellor Angela Merkel late last year, causing a stir. Merkel echoed a concern expressed by then-French President Nicolas Sarkozy, who warned in a 2011 speech that Christians face a “particularly wicked program of cleansing in the Middle East, religious cleansing.”

1) All glory to our King of kings and LORD of lords, Christ Jesus, as Pr Daniel’s current ministry tour of US & Canada has been absolutely amazing so far!
I’m sure he will have a lot to share when he returns to Australia, but we thought that we’ll share this exciting testimony of a lady who was 100% deaf in her left ear, and how the Lord healed her last Sunday night in Holy Spirit miracle healing revival meetings in Toronto, Canada!
Pr Daniel preached the Word of God and then called out for people who wanted a healing touch to come forward as many people responded to the altar call. Among them was the Senior Pastor’s wife who was completely deaf in her left ear.
She had gone to many specialists first in Canada, then in the US, and their response was very disappointing, as they told her after several tests that they could do nothing to restore her hearing in her left ear.
She stated, “Watching and receiving emails from Catch The Fire Ministries in Australia greatly encouraged me to trust in God for my miracle. I read many reports of God using Pr Daniel to open up deaf ears and I was expecting my miracle. As I was on a church camp, I was only able to attend the Sunday night service and I trusted God for my miracle to come through Pr Daniel praying for me.”
Well, all glory to God, that miracle did come as Pr Daniel laid his hands on her ears and prayed, instantly the left ear opened up and her hearing was restored as the whole church erupted with claps and shouts of joy!

I have been battling depression for all of my adulthood. I was raised in a Christian family and have always been a believer in Jesus Christ and worshipped Him. My own personal journey with Jesus started when I read the whole bible at 16 years old. So how could a Christian be suffering depression to the extent of being suicidal?? I knew it was not right to want to die or to commit suicide [and it was only God that saved me from doing this] but I couldn’t seem to help the way I was feeling – I was convinced that death was the only way out and only option for my torment to stop.
It was like I didn’t have control over my mind or feelings, and I was a professional at distancing myself from people so no one really knew what was going on. I went on the CTFM Israel/Sri Lanka 2012 tour. We all had an amazing time in Israel but I still was suffering and fighting the severe symptoms of depression.

Miraculous Healing of Breast Cancer (This testimony was read at a meeting in Sri Lanka, before Pr Daniel preached)
It’s winter now in Melbourne with morning temperatures barely reaching two digits, but every other week my husband and I wake up early on a Sunday morning and drive right across town to Hallam, for the morning service a Catch the Fire Apostolic Centre. The service lasts three hours and is totally different to the Sunday mass that we regularly attended in our local Catholic Church. The one hour mass at the parish church was “fitted” into our week’s busy schedule and was frequently irksome and often a chore. Extraordinarily the service at Catch the Fire which takes not one hour but a full morning is something we have come to look forward to and recognise as the high point of the week.

After the amazing time in Israel, the whole CTFM group arrived in Sri Lanka and was blessed with 5 star hotel accommodation by the travel agent. This amazing hotel, overlooking the beach, old Parliament House, the Twin Towers and many other 5 star hotels, was just breath taking. It also gave us a view of the helicopter landing pad of the President of Sri Lanka.
After the 24 hour stay, half the group prepared to depart on route back to Australia. Just then, Pr Daniel’s daughter Shannen got on the piano at the 5 star hotel lobby, packed with guests and started singing and playing “He is Lord”. Within seconds the whole CTFM team was around the piano singing and worshipping the Lord!
This hotel, which is owned by an Arab Muslim man attracted many Muslims as their guests. It was most interesting to see many guests stop and watch us worship. Some of us were able to witness to them. Then half the team departed in a bus to the airport, while the rest of us stood at the entrance of the hotel and shouted, “Aussie, Aussie, Aussie, Ooi, ooi , ooi!” Many had tears and their was a lot of hugging and kissing as we said goodbye. It was amazing how the team had bonded together. It was truly an amazing trip.
The next day early in the morning we left on our tour of Sri Lanka. Our first stop was the Elephant orphanage. Driving throught the streets of Sri Lanka was very interesting. There were many horns blowing, vehicles coming from every direction, but some how all got through. No road rage, no abusing, but they all just smiled, as one got through at the intersection.
The Sri Lankan people were always smiling, very warm and welcoming. I would love to go and live there for some time. The Elephant orphanage was very exciting. As we came within 2 metres of a herd of 56 elephants, we watched them eat and some of us fed them, and also watched them bathe.
Then we headed up to the hill country of Kandy, the place where the former kings in Sri Lanka ruled from. We visited a tea factory and then stayed the night at a hotel overlooking the lake. Here we had a buffet dinner and were entertained by a clipso band.

1) This Saturday the 23rd of June, a team of around 70 intercessory prayer warriors from Catch The Fire Ministries, from all across Australia, will be leaving to Israel for a 10 day tour and mission in the Holy Land.
Pr Daniel, along with his family, will be heading up this team to Israel first and then Sri Lanka. Everyone going is so very excited and looking forward to a great trip led by the Spirit of God!
We would greatly appreciate if you could join together in prayer from 4.30pm-5pm this Sat 23rd June in praying and claiming Australia for Jesus, as around 70 intercessors with CTFM will be in a aircraft flying over Australia and will storm heaven in prayer, declaring ‘Australia for Jesus’ at the same time!
Pr Daniel stated, “We are expecting mighty things to happen on this mission tour as we prayer walk the streets where our Savoir Jesus Christ walked. On the last trip to Israel, many mighty things happened, including the rising of the dead. This time we are expecting more. Please do uphold us in prayer.”

We thank and praise God for a wonderful time of celebration and fellowship at the 25th wedding anniversary thanksgiving service of Pr Daniel & his wife Maryse, which was held in Melbourne on 30th March 2012.
It was so nice to see family, friends, church members & many pastors, from so many different ethnic backgrounds, come together as one to celebrate this special occasion of their loving commitment toward the Lord and one another. Some traveled from overseas and interstate to be a part of the function.
The service started with prayer by Pr Gary, then a few beautiful songs of worship led by Nigel & Shannen (Pr Daniel & Maryse’s, Son & Daughter). They also sang a
few very special songs to Dad & Mum and then spoke of the joy, love & happiness that the Nalliah family has experienced through Jesus their Lord and Saviour, through all the challenges they have faced in their journey of serving the Lord together. Many at the party were in tears.
Their youngest daughter Brianna, who turns 5 in June, was very busy finishing all the chocolates which were on the table.
Then Pr Cami led the service and renewing of vows. He also spoke of the many years he had known the Nalliah family and that how honoured he was to be at their 25th wedding anniversary.
