AP: Conservative Christians Feel Time of ‘Persecution for Christ’s Sake’ Has Come to America

June 09, 2016 – Associated Press

Pastor Richie Clendenen stepped away from the pulpit, microphone in hand. He walked the aisles of the Christian Fellowship Church, his voice rising to describe the perils believers face in 21st-century America.

“The Bible says in this life you will have troubles, you will have persecutions. And Jesus takes it a step further: You’ll be hated by all nations for my name’s sake,” he said.

“Let me tell you,” the minister said, “that time is here.”

Pentecostal Leaders Pack Out Trump’s New Christian Advisory Board

6/23/2016 Aysha Khan/RNS

Donald Trump’s campaign announced its new evangelical advisory board Tuesday (June 21) as the presumptive presidential nominee met with nearly 1,000 conservative Christians.

The Evangelical Executive Advisory Board will convene regularly to “provide advisory support to Mr. Trump on those issues important to Evangelicals and other people of the faith in America,” the campaign said in a statement.

It also will lead a Faith and Cultural Advisory Committee that will be announced later in June.

First on the list is former Congresswoman Michele Bachmann. Shortly before announcing her own bid for the presidency in 2012, Bachmann withdrew from Salem Lutheran Church after 10 years as a member and moved to a nearby evangelical church.

Dallas massacre of police: FBI investigating anti-police group that attended Dallas mosque

July 8, 2016 – By Robert Spencer

The Hamas-linked Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR) and other Islamic supremacist groups have assiduously courted Black Lives Matter, and linked their propaganda efforts against “Islamophobia” to the Black Lives Matter stand against perceived racism.

In Dallas last night, we see where this is tending: as Kyle Shideler notes in the March article below, “At the event, MAS leader Khalilah Sabra openly discussed the importance of Muslim support for Black Lives Matter, and urged ‘revolution.’

Comparing the situation in the United States to the Muslim Brotherhood-led Arab Spring revolutions, she asked, ‘We are the community that staged a revolution across the world; if we can do that, why can’t we have that revolution in America?’” And with the mass murder of police in Dallas last night, we’re getting there.

Dallas and the Leftist / Islamic Alliance

July 11, 2016 – by Robert Spencer in FrontPage

CAIR’s – and the Left’s – chickens come home to roost.

Nihad Awad, the Executive Director of the Hamas-linked Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR), said it plainly at the 14th Annual MAS-ICNA (Muslim American Society and Islamic Circle of North America) Convention in December 2015: “Black Lives Matter is our matter. Black Lives Matter is our campaign.”

Khalilah Sabra, another Muslim activist, told the Muslim conference: “Basically, you are the new black people of America….We are the community that staged a revolution across the world. If we could do that, why can’t we have that revolution in America?”

With the murder of five policemen in Dallas by a sniper during a Black Lives Matter protest, that revolution may be upon us – the revolution of hatred and violence that Islamic supremacists and race hustlers have worked so long to bring about.

2015: Black Lives Matter visits “Palestine,” links jihad against Israel to race war in US

July 8, 2016 – Robert Spencer

Recently, a number of representatives from the Dream Defenders, Black Lives Matter and various Ferguson anti-police brutality protesters made history through a solidarity trip to Palestine.

The purpose of last week’s trip was to connect with activists living under Israeli occupation.

The 10-day trip to the occupied Palestinian Territories, specifically in the West Bank, was organized to show a link between oppression emanating from the Israeli State as well as that which victims of police brutality are experiencing in America.

When Islamists and Secularists Agree

Crisis Magazine ^ | June 30, 2016 | Tom Hoopes

Many commentators tried to implicate Christians in the aftermath of the mass shooting in Orlando. But might it not be true that Western secularists have more in common with Isis than Christians?

The two realities of Islamic extremism and Western consumerism are like shadowy doppelgangers showing up each other’s bankruptcy. Consider:

  1. ISIS and secularists have both created aggressive sexual playgrounds for men.

At first glance, the two foes’ attitudes toward sex look utterly different.

In the West, the Sexual Revolution strains against any restriction on sexual expression. That loose attitude toward sexuality is one of the signs of decadence in the West that enrages Islamicists.

But dig a little deeper and the picture starts to change. (more…)

Not all Muslims are terrorists, but virtually all terrorists are Muslims

US Defense Watch ^ | June 21, 2016 | Ray Starmann

Last week, in the wake of the Orlando shooting, Fox News analyst and former US Army Intelligence officer, Lieutenant-Colonel Ralph Peters stated that “Not all Muslims are Terrorists, but Virtually All Terrorists are Muslims.” Exacto-mundo compadre.

Meanwhile…on Fantasy Island…

The Obama Administration and its cowardly and delusional acolytes of diversity and political correctness in the DOJ, the FBI, the DHS and the military are living in a holographic Land of Oz.

By direction of the White House and its minions, you can’t say radical Islam, jihad or Sharia, the FBI better not do surveillance on mosques, two bombs a day keeps ISIS away and we wouldn’t want to insult the people trying to kill us.

Obama’s motto is: “Don’t Tread on ISIS.”

Trump meets 1000 pro-life, evangelical leaders: pledges pro-life justices

NEW YORK, New York, June 21, 2016 (LifeSiteNews) – Over 1000 evangelical, pro-life and conservative leaders assembled for a closed-door meeting with Donald Trump Tuesday, ready to size up the presumptive GOP nominee and his commitment to issues of concern to faith-based voters.

Originally planned as a private gathering of 400 social conservatives, “A Conversation About America’s Future with Donald Trump” was organized by the Christian groups United in Purpose and My Faith Votes.

Attendees of the invitation-only event were treated to a mixed bag of answers from Trump and came away with varied reactions.

The event drew some 50,000 questions for Trump on topics such as religious freedom, homosexuality, abortion and Supreme Court appointees, submitted to organizers in advance.

Religious leaders heard responses to their liking from Trump in the areas of religious freedom and potential Supreme Court appointments, but some expressed concern afterwards that he didn’t say enough on the life issue, and appeared to skirt other matters, including directly addressing threats to religious liberty via the advance of the gay rights agenda.

Prayer Moves Mountains / Australian Election Major Shift – by Ps Daniel

Dear family & friends in Christ,

Once again, thank you so very much for your physical, financial, moral and most of all, prayer support.

The results in Australia’s last election were unexpected for many, as the major parties lost several seats, with mostly conservative minor parties with moral values, winning seats.

Unfortunately, RUAP did not win any seats, but did quite well in the elections. In some electorates we received almost 5 times the vote compared to the last election.

We all know how God used a ungodly king called Cyrus to fulfil His plans. Likewise some of the candidates from varying political parties, who were elected into the Senate, are not Christians, but are standing for some very good values, although we at RUAP do not necessarily agree with some of their policies.

Let us start with Pauline Hanson’s One Nation Party.  I met her 6 months ago for the very first time. Contrary to what I have heard about her from the media and others over the past 18 years, I saw a completely different person. She was very kind and very friendly. So much so that our preferences of each other were very high up in the order.

204 Queensland babies were born alive during abortions then left to die: Health Minister

QUEENSLAND, Australia, June 15, 2016 (LifeSiteNews)

The number of babies born alive during late-term abortions in the Australian state of Queensland every year more than tripled in ten years, Health Minister Cameron Dick told the Queensland Parliament as it considers a bill to legalize abortion on demand in the state.

Abortion is illegal in Queensland except when deemed necessary for the “preservation of the mother’s life,” which courts have interpreted to include physical and mental health.

Dick reported that the number of late-term abortions resulting in live births jumped from eight in 2005 to 27 in 2015.  There have been a total of 204 live births from late-term abortions from 2005 to 2015.  Queensland Health confirmed that these babies are not cared for after their birth and are left to die in abortion centers.
