The danger of saying ISIS is not Islam

September 16, 2014 – Liz Lightstone

So I’ve been thinking about this a lot and posted this morning on twitter about David Cameron’s comment (“they are monsters, not Muslims”). I’m very concerned by growing reprise that “Islamic State” (IS) is not Islam, that they are not Muslims. I can understand where it’s coming from but its a very dangerous form of political correctness. Clearly not all Muslims support IS, nor are all terrorists Muslim. But there is no doubt that IS say they are acting on behalf of Islam, they are Muslims and they want to establish an Islamic Caliphate.

If you detach their monstrous ideology from what we like to think of as Islam, then do you detach from the Muslim community responsibility for denouncing it? I have no problem if moderate Muslims — as some have done (albeit late in the day) — stand up and say that IS does not represent what they believe to be Islam. I similarly say that Naturei Karta, the “ultra-Orthodox” anti Zionist Jews — who by the way simply throw words, not stones, not swords and are nonviolent — do not represent Judaism in any form that I know.  But I want the moderates to stand up and say it.

More importantly, do you, by saying IS is not Islam, they’re not Muslims, detach from the Muslim community at large the responsibility for helping prevent radicalisation which we know full well goes on in certain mosques and on campuses? (It is astonishing how many campuses world wide have HUGE investment from Saudi and Qatar and huge investment in BDS, anti Israel, and radicalisation programmes.)

I am not blaming any particular Muslim community but just as I hung my head in shame when extremist Jews murdered that poor young man in Jerusalem after the death of the three Jewish teenagers, so the Muslim community worldwide must say, not that IS is an Israeli / CIA conspiracy (as Iran currently claiming) but that something is rotten within the Muslim world and it must be stopped.

Should we still love all Muslims? – YES YES YES / Should we still cover up for Islam & the Koran? – NO NO NO – by Ps Daniel Nalliah

Dear friends & family in Christ,

One needs to first understand that “Muslims” are a group of people.  Islam is the Religion and the Koran is their text book, where they get their ideology from.

I am sure we all know that one can choose their friends and partner, but not your family or the religion you are born into.

The siege in Sydney had a very sad ending. All night I kept waking up, checking the news, and saying prayers for the hostages, their families and our security forces. I can just imagine the terror that the hostages went through for so long, and then to hear the news that two were killed, was so very sad.

I know that emotions will be running very high right now and that feelings towards Muslim people can be very negative. We must be careful however not to brand all Muslims with the same label. We need to love them and make them feel at home as many of them do not practice the Koran and have chosen to live a peaceful life.

Let me take Sri Lanka as an example. Due to racial riots, thousands lost their lives. Then because of terrorism many were killed. But since the terrorists were from the minority group, even though most people from the minority did not support the terrorists,  all those who belonged to that minority community became victims of revenge attacks, insults and were looked upon as if everyone from that community was a terrorist. I hope that does not happen to Muslims living in Australia.

Friends of Israel Warn about ISIS

Christian Friends of Israel – Sept 22 2014Territorial control of the ISIS as of 13 September 2014

Some people know that Brigitte Gabriel is a Lebanese Christian who immigrated to the United States a few years ago, following the invasion of Lebanon by the Muslim Jihad. In 1975 when she was ten years old, militant Muslims throughout the Middle East poured into Lebanon and declared war against Lebanese Christians.

Brigitte and her mother were injured in the shelling from Muslim artillery. They were allowed to cross into Israel and receive medical treatment at a hospital in Safed (she tells about it in her book, Because They Hate). The love and kindness that she and her mother received from the Israeli doctors and nurses turned her into a lifelong friend of Israel. She now runs what is known as Act for America, an organization aimed at helping Americans understand the threat they face from Islam and learning how to combat it.

In addition to her books, Ms. Gabrielle has recently written an article entitled “ISIS is a threat beyond Iraq, with Shariah as its worldwide aim.” In the article she says, “ISIS isn’t acting out of anger over borders or ‘politics’ as the West understands the term. ISIS has a specific goal in mind and that is the formation of an Islamic state ruled by Shariah.” She points out this is the common goal of all the major jihadist organizations across the world. It is shared by al Qaeda, Hamas, Lashkar e Taiba, Abu Sayyef, Boko Haram, Al Shabaab, and others. This shared goal transcends any disagreements over borders and pure politics.

For instance, she says, Israel [which she loves] could disappear tomorrow and the overriding goal of the formation of Islamic states ruled by Sharia would not change a bit. It is based on their thousand-year-old doctrine which is far more fundamental and overarching than mere political ideology. That in turn is based on the Islamic trilogy—the Quran, the Hadith, and the Sira.

The Root of 9/11: Bad Theology

By Jerry Newcombe , CP Op-Ed Contributor – September 11, 2014

Did you know that since 9/11, there have been 23,780 separate deadly terror attacks carried out by Islamic extremists, according to thereligionofpiece.com?

The 13th anniversary of 9/11 is upon us. Why did it happen at all?

We get a hint of why from a statement from the founder of the Muslim Brotherhood, Hasan al-Banna (1906-1949) of Egypt. He said: “It is the nature of Islam to dominate, not to be dominated, to impose its law on all nations, and to extend its power to the entire planet.”

But there’s another factor as well, and that deals with the personal motivation of the hijackers. 9/11 happened because of bad theology. Nineteen men believed the promise that if they died in a state of Jihad, they would go to Paradise and receive their 72 virgins. Nineteen men sought assurance of salvation in the wrong place and killed thousands of innocent people on the way.

Israel May Become New Front in Syria’s Civil War

September 04, 2014 – Daniel Estrin – The Associated Press

For the first time in the Syrian civil war, al Qaeda fighters are hunkered down on Israel’s doorstep, and Israelis in the lush, hilly Golan Heights who have long considered Syrian President Bashar Assad their bitter foe are now worried about something more ominous — that they could become the militants’ next target.

The push into the Golan by the Nusra Front, as al Qaeda’s branch in Syria is known, comes just two weeks after Israel ended a 50-day war against Hamas on its southern border with the Gaza Strip, giving the conflict-weary nation another cause for concern.

Israelis in the Golan have grown accustomed to hearing the sound of distant battles between rival forces in Syria’s civil war.

But last week’s seizure of the strategic Quneitra border crossing by a mix of rebels — including the Nusra Front, fighters of the Western-backed Free Syrian Army and others — has created an unprecedented situation that has brought the extremists to within just a few metres of Israeli positions.

Jordanian-Palestinian Politician: There is no ISIS Ideology — It’s Islam

Posted on 9/7/2014 by DeoVindiceSicSemperTyrannis

Palestinian-Jordanian politician Muhammad Bayoudh Al-Tamimi recently defended ISIS, saying that its doctrine “stems from the Quran and the Sunna.” The Syrian soldiers recently killed at the Tabqa airbase “deserved to be slaughtered 100,000 times over,” said Al-Tamimi, a member of the Jordanian Umma movement. According to Internet reports, the show was not broadcast by the Jordanian ANB TV channel that had produced it, but it was posted on the Internet by ANB TV on August 31, 2014.

Interviewer: What is our position, here in Jordan, with regard to ISIS and the ISIS ideology?

Muhammad Bayoudh Al-Tamimi: I reject the use of the terms “ISIS” and “ISIS ideology.” It sounds like you are talking about a Satanic weed or a Satanic ideology, which has come from out of nowhere.

Interviewer: But isn’t that true?

Which of these two parties is too white and too racist? – by Andrew Bolt

To The Age it is obvious

The Greens love diversity in theory:

Australia’s strength lies in the cultural diversity of people from all corners of the globe, the Australian Greens said today… Our country has been greatly enriched by successive generations of immigrants whose influences are reflected in every facet of society.

Not every facet, actually. Greens leader Christine Milne with Greens politicians and candidates in the Victorian election:

Age writer Ruby Hamad isn’t so sure about this diversity thing, after all:

Yes, it appears that Australia’s far right, ultra-nationalist, evangelical Christian, anti-abortion, and anti-immigration party has an extraordinary amount of gender and racial diversity. More so, as I noted someone comment dryly under the photo, than The Greens.

How is this possible?

The Power of Unity – Vic Election and the Christian values based parties / Church leaders refuse to speak out – Will we pay the price?

Dear family and friends in Christ,

First let me take this opportunity to thank everyone who voted, supported and prayed for us. This was the first State Election that Rise Up Australia Party contested (although we contested the Federal Election last year) and I must say that we learned a lot.

Something very significant happened in this election in Victoria. The Christian values based parties worked together as a block in sharing first preferences with each other and the results were very good.

In most regions with the strategic preferences, we came very close to winning Upper House seats, and it seems that at least one Upper House seat will now be secured, with three more seats currently in question. (Some 90% of the upper house votes are yet  to be re-checked).

This clearly shows the power of unity as Jesus said, where He prays for all believers in John 17:20-23.

“My prayer is not for them alone. I pray also for those who will believe in me through their message, 21 that all of them may be one, Father, just as you are in me and I am in you. May they also be in us so that the world may believe that you have sent me. 22 I have given them the glory that you gave me, that they may be one as we are one— 23 I in them and you in me—so that they may be brought to complete unity. Then the world will know that you sent me and have loved them even as you have loved me”.

On another note, although some church leaders I know of spoke out regarding the election, once again many church leaders refused to speak out and tell the people how to vote.

When ‘Apostles’ and ‘Prophets’ Lust for Fame

Bert Farias

Have you ever looked with holy eyes at some of today’s most popular Christian conference ads? It’s all about Apostle so and so and Prophet so and so, and for those who are not content with just one title there is Apostle/Prophet Dr. so and so—posters advertising special people and special programs, and how much they are all doing for the Lord.

I realize some of these things have their place, but in all of it, where is His face? Don’t you want to see Jesus? Doesn’t it disturb you when some mere mortal stands in the way?

The real truth about most men is this: They don’t really know their own hearts as well as they think. We are never as humble and submissive to God as we think we are. Even Paul near the end of his earthly life and ministry had to be broken so that he wouldn’t be puffed up with pride because of his many visions and revelations (2 Cor. 12:7-9). Who do you think you are?

Your only safeguard against pride is to keep on truly humbling yourself and not be self-seeking. Paul said of Timothy, “I have no one else like him” (Phil. 2:20, NIV) because he was not self-serving or self-seeking (v. 21).

The origin of every word and action determines its glory and purity. Holy roots mean holy fruits. A desire for gain outside of God’s will or even timing means you are worshipping a form of increase and success instead of God. It is evidence again that you are seeking your own glory and honor, and not the glory and honor of God. I call it unsanctified gain, which manifests in discontentment. Notice what true gain is: “Now godliness with contentment is great gain. For we brought nothing into this world, and it is certain we can carry nothing out. And having food and clothing, with these we shall be content” (1 Tim. 6:6-8, NKJV).

Faith Leaders Unite To Protect Life, Faith & Moral Values

Faith leader's statement on our shared values to save our babies, our morals, our schools and our faithMedia Release – For Immediate Release – 24th Monday November 2014

Rise Up Australia endorses faith leader’s statement on our shared values to save our babies, our morals, our schools and our faith

Daniel Nalliah, President of Rise Up Australia Party, is one of the first party leaders publicly to endorse a remarkable joint statement (click the photo on the left to read) by the eminent leaders of the Jewish, Christian and Muslim faiths identifying the four crucial moral issues in the Victorian State election.

Rabbi Shimon Cowen, Bishop Peter Elliott and Imam Riad Galil say in their statement that The Victorian law permitting abortion without anesthetic until birth is the worst abortion law in the world. The UN-sponsored Safe School’s programme to promote homosexuality in schools under the guise of preventing bullying is an attack on the freedom of parents to have children raised according to the values of their faith. Labor’s proposal to force religious schools to employ staff who do not share the school’s religious faith attacks the freedom and integrity of religious institutions. All parents are entitled to obtain a religious education for their children but that neither of the major parties has announced a commitment to fulfilment of this need.

Mr Nalliah, lead Upper House candidate for the South-Eastern Metropolitan Region, said “Faith leader’s statement recognizes our common cause to protect the Faith, Values and Moral decay in society. Never before has our heritage of moral principles been under such relentless and deliberate attack as it is today. Faith leaders stand united in their profound concern at the deliberate assaults on the moral principles on which Australia and the West were founded.

He added that it is alarming that the United Nations, whose charter of human rights states that everyone has the right to life, does nothing to uphold the rights of little children in the womb not to be tortured and then killed. It is still more concerning that the UN is actively supporting the promotion of homosexuality in our schools as though it were a normal lifestyle when in fact it is a life-threatening choice. If a child is bullied for stealing, one does not stop the bullying by celebrating stealing. The UN has arguably out lived what use fullness it once had.”
