Filled with endless pictures of smiling children, the ‘information and guidance’ booklet must have looked anodyne when it tumbled off the press a few years ago.
It was produced by the Muslim Council of Britain and contained — in the words of the foreword — 72 pages of advice to schools designed to ‘promote greater understanding of the faith, religious and cultural needs’ of pupils from an Islamic background.
Even the title seemed, on the face of things, uncontroversial. It was called simply: Meeting The Needs Of Muslim Pupils In State Schools.
Tahir Alam is the alleged mastermind of a plot by Islamic extremists to take over schools. The 45-year-old can be revealed as the author of a controversial 2007 booklet about teaching Muslim pupils
Appearances can be deceptive, though. For within days of its publication, this outwardly unremarkable booklet had sparked an explosive political controversy.

When it comes to same-sex “marriage,” our culture just like our president, has definitely evolved. After all, it was only in 2008 that a strong majority in California-yes, California-passed Proposition 8 which defined marriage as between one man and one woman.
But when our president changed his mind a few months before the 2012 election, the cultural floodgates opened, particularly in the American workplace. Later that summer, Chick-fil-A faced angry boycotts when CEO Dan Cathy’s views and donations in favor of traditional marriage became public knowledge.
The workplace pressure has only continued. Christian bakers and photographers who do not want to participate in what they consider to be a sin have been fined and faced being shut down. Attempts to protect their religious liberty, such as Arizona’s State Bill 1062, have been crushed through threats of economic boycotts and media shaming.
More high-profile voices have also faced this smash-mouth, brass-knuckle treatment. Just weeks ago Brendan Eich, the accomplished founder and CEO of search-engine company Mozilla, was forced to resign when he was “outed” for donating all of $1,000 to Proposition 8 eight years ago.

Everyone involved in this story seems to take for granted that “jihad” has something to do with violence against Infidels. Yet in the U.S. we are constantly told that that is something that only greasy Islamophobes think. No doubt Ahmed Rehab is jetting to Auckland as we speak, so as to explain to the Muslims at the Avondale Islamic Centre that jihad really means dropping off the kids at school.
“‘Jihad’ threat to mosque security,” by Lincoln Tan, New Zealand Herald, May 20, 2014:
A mosque in Auckland has been shut down indefinitely following violent attacks and the declaration of jihad, or holy war, against private security staff hired to guard the premises.
Bill Frost, who leads the Global Security Intelligence team at the Avondale Islamic Centre, was assaulted twice on Sunday and said he feared for his life and the safety of his family after one worshipper threatened him with jihad.

2) Pr Daniel will be ministering God’s prophetic Word and praying for people this Sunday 29th June at the 9.30am & 6:30pm worship services at CTFM at 30 Star Crescent in Hallam, Melbourne.

3) Pr Daniel had the opportunity to address several meetings in Katherine and Darwin, NT over the past weekend. Also travelling with him was his Media Officer and Cameraman.
The 4 day ministry tour started with a one hour radio interview, which was very interesting, as the radio host became so excited and challenged when he heard how God saved Pr Daniel from possible execution in Saudi Arabia more than 15 years ago.
That night he also spoke at a Women’s Aglow meeting where the people were absolutely challenged to Rise Up as they heard him speak of Australia, our Judeo-Christian heritage and the need to keep Australia Australian.
The next morning he addressed a Breakfast meeting and spoke on how RUAP has already started to make a difference in the political arena. Many people joined the party and pledged support.
The highlight of the tour was on Saturday night when many Aboriginal people turned up for the meeting. This meeting, interestingly enough was held at the Charles Darwin University Hall. At this meeting something amazing happened. The praise and worship was great. Then Pr Daniel started speaking, sharing the Word of God and some very powerful testimonies.
Suddenly, the Holy Spirit fell in the place and people started repenting and crying. Then all the Aboriginal people, and all people who have come from other countries to call Australia home, came out to the front. They stood up and acknowledged them and then asked them forgiveness for the wrong done to their fore-fathers. Then they thanked these dear people for opening their country for all us to come and live in it, and call Australia home.
As this finished many people were weeping under the anointing of the Holy Spirit. Then the Aboriginal people told the others, “we accept your apology and welcome you into our country. Thank you for bringing the Word of God to us.” As this happened many started weeping. There were many tears of joy as white and black people hugged and said how much they love each other.
Then all joined hands and sang “Bind us together Lord with cords that cannot be broken”. There was tremendous healing and reconciliation, followed by many people asking Pr Daniel to pray for them.
On Sunday morning and evening we ministered at a church. On Sunday night the service that started at 6.30pm, finished around 11pm. The power and anointing of the Holy Spirit just swept through the place. Many Aboriginal people came for this service.
Towards the end of the service, many people who had never had a hug from their biological father asked Pr Daniel for a hug as they saw the Heavenly Father’s heart in him. The rest was history.
