Why Did Oil-Rich Arab Countries Abandon Muslim Refugees?

September 4, 2015 – Nonie Darwish

Western media is reporting on the Muslim refugee crisis as a humanitarian problem that the West must deal with. But where are the media’s questions about the huge financial and land resources available to oil rich Arab and Muslim countries? Where are the Islamic solutions in this equation?

The world is often lectured to about the urgency of respecting Arab and Islamic brotherly love, but where is the Arab action to rescue fellow Muslims and Arabs from the claws of ISIS?

Where are Arab feminists, especially those who demonstrated against France for banning the hijab? They are silent and doing nothing to rescue thousands of women that are victims of Islamic jihadist rape and enslavement. The only compassionate women helping women in the Middle East are the Christian mother Teresas and Kayla Muellers of the western world.

Where are the mighty Arab armies who waged dozens of wars against Israel? Why aren’t they fighting ISIS and building tent cities in the vast deserts of Arabia, Egypt, Jordan and the wealthy Gulf States? They are all claiming they are “moderate” Muslims and that they are against ISIS. But is one substantive thing they have done?

Will migrants flooding Europe embrace Western values?

By Cal Thomas – September 03, 2015

Migrants get back on a train in Bicske, Hungary, Thursday, Sept. 3, 2015.

Over 150,000 migrants have reached Hungary this year, most coming through the southern border with Serbia. Many apply for asylum but quickly try to leave for richer EU countries.

Back when I was in school, I performed a scientific experiment in which I poured a liquid of one color into a beaker that contained liquid of a different color. At first the liquid in the beaker was diluted, but as I kept pouring, the poured liquid eventually overtook the liquid in the beaker, creating an entirely new substance.

That’s what is happening in Europe as thousands of migrants flee their home countries, seeking refuge in the European Union. Germany, alone, is expected to have received 800,000 migrants by the end of the year, four times last year’s number.

Savage Enemy: How ISIS Wants to Start Armageddon

CBNNews.com – September 02, 2015

ISIS, or the Islamic State, is in the news every day. The brutal terrorist army burst on the scene in 2014 when it gobbled up huge swaths of territory in Iraq and Syria.

Today, ISIS controls a land area the size of Great Britain and is the wealthiest jihadist organization in the world.

As ISIS expands, it brings with it chaos and savagery everywhere it goes, beheading its enemies, destroying cultural artifacts and treasures, and displacing millions of Christians and other non-Muslims.

Despite all that we do know about ISIS, the terror group remains shrouded in mystery. Who are they? What do they believe? Why do they hate America?

Robert Spencer, a leading terror expert, answers these questions and more while exposing the blood-drenched history and mysterious inner workings of the Islamic State in his latest book, The Complete Infidel’s Guide to ISIS. The book provides an essential primer to comprehending one of the world’s most dangerous enemies.

Muslims Who Watch This Spirit-Filled Preacher Are Turning to Christ

 7/21/2015 Leading the Way

As the world responds to the latest series of Islamic extremist attacks, including a Tunisia attack that killed 30 people, one story that isn’t being covered in the media is that Muslims are turning to Christ.

Twenty-one-year-old Hafid* from Morocco believed in jihad and killing anyone who did not follow the laws of Islam.

However, his life was transformed when he started watching Leading The Way’s 24/7 satellite television channel, The Kingdom Sat. Leading The Way is a television broadcast from the ministry of Michael Youssef.

“I started comparing Islam with Christianity and found there to be a lot of contradictions between the Hadith (the prophets’ teaching) and the Quran. I studied the Bible online. I wanted to tell you that I have decided to follow Jesus.”

After receiving this message, Leading The Way’s follow-up team led him to Christ.

Jerusalem Bishop: ‘There is a real escalation in anti-Christian violence’

Lucinda Borkett-Jones Christian Today Features Editor 22 June 2015

A Catholic bishop in Jerusalem has said the arson attack on an historic church near the Sea of Galilee last week is symptomatic of the growing threat of anti-Christian violence from extremist Jews.

Thursday’s attack on the Church of the Multiplication of the Loaves and Fishes, in which two people were treated for smoke inhalation, is the second time the church has been targeted in the last 18 months. Last April an altar and a cross were also desecrated.

Bishop William Shomali, Auxiliary Bishop of the Patriarchate of Jerusalem, told Aid to the Church in Need: “There is a real escalation in anti-Christian violence: from a small fire which leaves little damage, to a bigger fire, and finally to an arson attack which is intended to produce major damage and even killing,” he said, adding: “We are allowed to ask: What will come next?”

The bishop acknowledged that the violence was likely perpetrated by “a very small and aggressive group”.

Australia to strip citizenship of Australian-born jihadis with immigrant parents

May 21, 2015 – By Robert Spencer

Common sense. This is a start in the right direction — one that no other Western country has had the courage to take. “Australia to strip citizenship of Australian-born jihadis with immigrant parents,” Associated Press, May 21, 2015 (thanks to Kenneth):

Australian Immigration and Border Protection Minister Peter Dutton, seen here in February 2015, says that because Islamic State movement is not recognized as a state, membership is not currently grounds for losing Australian citizenship. He says the government wants to change that.

Australia plans to strip citizenship from Australian-born children of immigrants who become fighters for the militant group Islamic State in Iraq and Syria (ISIS) in its crackdown on homegrown jihadis, a minister said on Thursday.

The government wants to change the Citizenship Act to make fighting for ISIS a reason for losing citizenship, Immigration Minister Peter Dutton said.

Kurdish Courage: ISIS’ Evil Crushed This City, but Not Its People

Kurdish Courage ISIS' Evil Crushed This City, but Not Its PeopleGary Lane : Jun 8, 2015 : CBN News

“We really sacrificed and our uprising was not only for the people of Kobani, but for people everywhere.”

Kobani, Syria—[CBN News] As the Iraqi military struggles with ISIS, it could learn a lesson from Kurdish troops. In Syria, the Peshmerga helped free the city of Kobani, with help from American airstrikes.

CBN’s Gary Lane joined CBN Humanitarian and Disaster Relief workers as they brought help to the ravaged city of Kobani.

They were shocked by what we saw. Much of the town has been destroyed. The effort to drive ISIS from Kobani left much of this area just devastated.

But slowly, people are coming back. The town now has a population of about 20 percent of what it was once before.

Huge March in New York City in Support of Israel

Sara Abramowicz : Jun 2, 2015 : United With IsraelIsra

“Anyone who thinks that the United States is abandoning its support of Israel—obviously they weren’t in Central Park today, because they would have found out that there is strong, passionate sentiment to stand with Israel.” –Mike Huckabee

With More Muslims Converting to Christianity Than Ever Before, Is the Collapse of Islam Imminent?

June 02, 2015 – CBN News – Dale Hurd

The headlines say Islam is going to be the largest religion in the world. But Islam is facing a crisis.

The terrible deeds of ISIS, done in the name of Allah and following the violent example of Muhammed, have horrified Muslims who are now questioning their faith.

Missionaries to the Islamic world say more Muslims have converted to Christianity in the last 14 years (since 9/11) than during the entire 14 centuries of Islamic history.

Secret Lives

Many keep their conversion a secret, afraid for their lives. In London, CBN News talked to Imram (no last name given to protect his identity), a British college student from a Pakistani immigrant family.

What Many Congregations are Now Doing on Sundays in Support of Persecuted Christians in the Middle East

Aimee Herd : Jun 1, 2015 : Ashley Webster, Inwook Song – Fox News

It’s a way of sending persecuted Believers the message that “we’re standing with you on this—you’re not alone.”

Congregants are donning orange apparel, the same color as the jumpsuits ISIS terrorists have forced the Christians to wear before beheading them.

According to a Fox News report, it’s a trend that was made popular by a handful of Christian leaders, including Rev. Patrick Mahoney who runs the #OrangeJumpSuit project.

Speaking to reporters, a churchgoer in Dumont, NJ—John Estrada—said, “The reason why I am wearing an orange shirt is to represent the Christian brothers and sisters that are being persecuted.”

ISIS Fighter Converts to Christianity After Meeting Jesus in a Powerful Dream: Like Apostle Paul

Leah Marieann Klett : Jun 4, 2015 : The Gospel Herald

“Many people are now following Jesus but they keep it quiet. They haven’t gone public about it. They even have church in their own home… they’ll serve communion to one another as they’re watching TV.” -Gina Fadely

(The Middle East)—In a powerful story of redemption and grace, an Islamic State militant known for his brutal killing of Christians has converted to his victims’ religion after dreaming of “a man in white” who offered him a dramatic message, according to one missionary’s account. (Photo via Gospel Herald)

“One of our YWAM workers in the Middle East was contacted by a friend earlier this year and they met up and he was introduced to an ISIS fighter who had killed many Christians already. I mean that’s a horrible situation, and admittedly, he was probably on guard,” Gina Fadely, director of Youth With A Mission Frontier Missions, Inc. (YWAM), said during a recent appearance on The Voice of the Martyrs Radio Network, Christian Post reported.

Fadely went on to reveal that the ISIS fighter confessed that prior to his conversion, he had “actually enjoyed” killing Christians.

At Closing of Empowered21 Global Congress, Samuel Rodriguez Urges Christians to Stand Up for Their Faith; Warns ‘There’s No Such Thing as Comfortable Christianity’

May 25, 2015The Christian Post – Leonardo Blair

Samuel Rodriguez, president of the National Hispanic Christian Leadership Conference, tells Spirit-filled Christians at the Empowered21 Global Congress to stand up for their faith at the Jerusalem Pais Arena in Israel on Sunday May 24, 2015.

In a high-energy parting shot to a gathering of several thousand Spirit-filled believers at the closing session of the Empowered21 Global Congress in Jerusalem, Israel on Sunday, president of the National Hispanic Christian Leadership Conference, Samuel Rodriguez warned that “there is no such thing as comfortable Christianity” and urged the group to use the power God gave them to declare Him to the world.

“When you are filled with God’s Spirit everything changes. When you are filled with the Holy Spirit, you are able to do what you were not able to do before. The Spirit came down and Peter did what? He raised his voice…Listen carefully, religion makes us complacent while revival makes us courageous. Today’s complacency is tomorrow’s captivity,” he warned.

Preaching from Acts 2:14 highlighting the reaction of the Apostle Peter after the initial descent of the Holy Spirit on the day of Pentecost, Rodriguez urged the believers to “be filled, stand up, and raise your voice.”
