Was Osama a true Muslim or a radical Islamic extremist? / By Pr Daniel

Osama Bin LadenPastor DanielDear family and friends in Christ,

There has been much news in the media all over the world in the last few days regarding the death of Osama bin Laden.

This man who was driven by a very evil agenda and who managed to terribly change the world in some 10 years through violence and fear, has successfully put Islam on the global scene.

So, was he a radical Islamic extremist or was he a true Muslim who followed the Quran?? Click the following link to read a document and make up your mind as to whether this man followed the Quran or not??

A true believer of any faith is a person who follows the fundamental doctrines of the faith, generally called a ‘fundamentalist’.

The question then needs to be asked, are there good Muslims? The answer is YES, of course.  However, they are not necessarily true Muslims according to Mohammed and the Quran.  Many Muslims have not read, nor follow the whole Quran, and prefer living a peaceful life.

Japan’s Tragedy Turns Spiritual

Japan Recoveryby Teresa Neumann : Mar 21, 2011 : Mission Network News

“People are engaging in spiritual conversation with strangers. That’s just not typical.”

REPORTER’S NOTE: Although the governor of Tokyo is on record as saying he feared God might be punishing the Japanese people, we at BCN do not jump to that conclusion. Yes, God can punish sin, but given that every people group and every nation on the face of the earth is sinful, the world should have ceased to exist long ago. Above all, God is full of grace and mercy, and His heart is toward the Japanese people in this hour, wanting to draw them to Himself. -Teresa Neumann, BCN.

(Japan)—Warren Janzen, the International Director of SEND International, gave a sobering update on the situation in Japan this week, but notes that the disaster is now taking on a “spiritual tone.”

Janzen said the the governor of Tokyo, Shintaro Ishihara, made a public statement that he feared the Japanese were being “punished.”

“To have a public figure of his stature make a statement like that,” he said, “opens up a public discussion on spiritual things.”

“Some of our missionaries are going out on the street,” he continued, “talking to random people, talking about the earthquake, the tsunami, and the nuclear situation there. People are engaging in spiritual conversation with strangers. That’s just not typical.”

Janzen was also quoted as saying it’s a kairos moment for Japan. “We believe this an appointed time in the presence of God,” he said.

Loosed from Chains

Being set fee in Jesus Name!5 October 2010 Gospel for Asia

Demon possession is a common occurrence in South Asia. In Umed’s case, it was so severe his family kept him chained.

Chains held Umed down. They were the only things that worked to tame the 17-year-old boy when demons took control of his body and gave him unnatural strength.

Umed had chains wrapped around him when Gospel for Asia-supported missionary Aiman Patil met him.

Aiman immediately knew the source of Umed’s suffering and felt moved to share the Gospel with his family. When he did, he helped them understand that Umed’s condition could be healed only through prayer and belief in Jesus Christ, who has the power to deliver people.

Humans, Demons Oppose Women’s Film Teams

Women\'s Film TeamASSIST News Service   Wednesday, November 3, 2010

Despite intense opposition, this women’s film team is seeing lost men and women come to the Lord as a result of showing a film on the life of Jesus.

SOUTH ASIA (ANS) — Two Gospel for Asia-supported women’s film teams rejoiced with prayers and songs of peace when they reported back to their state office.

They also shared tales of fierce opposition—and not only from human beings.

One team, led by GFA-supported national missionary Anvita Goda, was going house-to-house in a village where they were showing a film about the life of Jesus when they encountered a supernatural barrier.

A kind man named Mr. Bakhula invited them into his home and sat down as they began showing him the film about Jesus. Suddenly, his wife, Meenal, came home and began shouting at the missionaries, angry that her husband was allowing them to show the film.

Power of Prayer

The local pastor, who was accompanying the women, prayed for the Lord to control the situation, and Mrs. Bakhula became silent. Then, suddenly, she began speaking in a voice that was clearly not hers, and the missionary team realized that she was possessed by a demon.

Power of God falls in Sri Lanka & Malaysia – Salvations, Healings, Miracles

more than 900 people pack the altar as Ps Daniel ministers at SIB church in KL MalaysiaThank you for loving and helping us AustraliaDear family & friends in Christ,

I am so glad to be back home in Australia after a month overseas.  I arrived back with my wife and daughter late Tuesday night.  Our time away from Australia has been amazing.  As you would have read from my last few emails God moved most powerfully in Israel.

We spent 3 weeks in Sri Lanka & Malaysia on our return from Israel.  In Sri Lanka we caught up with our family and friends. I also had the great opportunity of visiting the 3 Children’s homes (where we feed, clothe & educate around 80 children) and the feeding program (where we feed 150 children lunch every day).  I was so happy to meet with them, and they were also very excited to see me. They all looked so great, happy and well taken care of.

I interviewed many of the kids one on one. The feedback from the kids were full of positive remarks and I am so pleased with the pastors who are taking care of these children. They refuse to call them orphPs Daniel with Dilma tea company owner\'s son at tower they erected to honour Jesusans, they always call them “our children”.
Ps Daniel, wife Maryse, and daughter Brianna in SL
I am so grateful to all of you who assist in keeping these projects running in Sri Lanka through your generous support.  If not for your help, we would not be able to finance them.  Catch The Fire Ministries releases 100% of all finances which come in for ‘Rescue Sri Lanka’ to Sri Lanka.
Some very exciting news, as a result of the feeding projects in 4 towns, now the Pastor I am working with has started 3 new churches and has seen 45 families born again. Thank you so much for financing these projects, as you have played a key role in winning these families to Jesus. Your continued support will be greatly appreciated.

I was in tears when I left each location as the kids came around me and said, “Please don’t go so soon, we love you so much, thank you for caring for us. When are you coming back?”  (more…)

Church Shift! 10/40 Window No Longer a Mission Field, but a “mission force”

10/40 Window now a Mission ForceAimee Herd (June 24, 2010)

“The Eastern Church that is rising up with radical faith is going to mobilize and inspire the rest of the Body of Christ around the world to get the Great Commission done.”

Pastor and Hip Hop artist, Jaseon Ma, has produced a film (1040) documenting the amazing work God seems to be doing in the Asia 10/40 window; (where the bulk of the world’s unreached people live) in the areas between 10 degrees and 40 degrees North Latitude.

Asia is a region of the world that, Jaseon explains, is alive and in motion with God’s Spirit in a “dramatic way.” (more…)

CTFM Israel mission great success – Part 1 / Mini revival in the aircrafts and transit hotel

Flag of IsraelPastor Daniel and his wife leading the CTFM tour in IsraelDear family and friends in Christ,

All glory and honor to the King of kings and the Lord of lords as our mission to Israel which was a great success!

I really do not know where to start. Possibly, there is not enough words to explain all that happened. I cannot write it all at once, but will try to send it across as part 1, 2, 3, etc.

On the 27th May, arouClnd 50 of us from Catch The Fire Ministries boarded the Malaysian Airlines plane in Melbourne. From the time we boarded the aircraft, we knew God was with us and something exciting was going to happen.

As the plane began moving down the runway, we were all very surprised when the pilot said, “Welcome to all at Catch The Fire Ministries. May you all have a great and safe pilgrimage to the Holy Land.” We were so happy and amazed to receive this welcome aboard Malaysian Airlines.

As we were high up in the sky over Australia, all the generals of prayer were ready to fire their weapons of the Holy Spirit (praying in tongues) at 4pm the planned time to unite heaven and earth in prayer. I had told the cabin crew that we were going to pray and suddenly there appeared on all the television screens behind every single seat throughout the whole aircraft the words, “Catch The Fire Ministries please pray for Australia – Ps Daniel.” (more…)

Demand for Bible Outstripping Supply in China

Christian Post  – 02/21/2010 – Charles Boyd

LONDON – The U.K.-based Bible Society has reported a growing demand for copies of the Bible in China where an estimated 500,000 people convert to Christianity every year.

Although some four million Bibles were printed and distributed across China last year, the rapid growth of the church year on year means that demand for Bibles is now outstripping supply, according to the Bible Society.

The official number of Christians in China stands at 28.6 million, but it is believed the true figure could be as high as 90 million if the estimated number of worshippers at unofficial house churches is included.

The Bibles are printed at Amity Printing Company, the only government-approved Bible printing press in China. It has printed around 70 million Bibles since it was established in 1987. Around 50 million of them have gone to Chinese believers.

60 Christian Houses In Pakistan Reduced To Ashes By Chemical Bombs Over Blasphemy Accusation

Pakistan Federal Minister for Minorities condemns violence, while some Christian villagers are missing after July 30 attack

By Dan Wooding and Sheraz Khurram Khan

Scene of the July 30 destructionTOBA TEK SINGH, GOJRA, PAKISTAN (ANS) — In another shocking display of violence in Pakistan, Islamists set ablaze some 60 Christian houses in Korian village in Toba Tek Singh district on Thursday, July 30, 2009, at 9:00 pm Pakistan time after a blasphemy accusation was leveled against a young Christian boy, Imran Masih, and his father Talib Masih.

Eye-witnesses told ANS they could still see plumes of smoke rising from some houses of the village today (Friday, July 31.)

The trouble began for the Christian residents of Korian when Talib, a Christian vendor ignorantly brought home a piece of paper that had Quranic verses written on it, along with some other rough papers.

Talib’s children innocently ripped apart the paper not understanding its contents.

When some local Muslims found the torn pieces of paper, the anti-Christian hostility spread like a wildfire in the village. (more…)

Who Is The Real God? – Gospel For Asia

ASSIST News Service (ANS) – Thursday, April 30, 2009       Gospel for Asia

Bible college students learn practical ministry and spiritual disciplines.

SOUTH ASIA (ANS) — Paresh Segal did all the religious rituals that his parents taught him, but he was full of doubt. The Segals were quite wealthy because Paresh’s father was a building contractor, so their life was a little better than most people they knew.

Like most people in Asian culture, the family was very faithful to the gods and goddesses of their traditional religion. Every morning and evening. they performed devotions and prayers for one hour before the statue of their family goddess. No one ate any breakfast or dinner before the prayers. Paresh’s parents told their children that their goddess was the most superior in their whole religion and that their religion was better than any other.

Paresh submitted to his parents’ wishes and participated in all these poojas and religious festivals, but deep down in his heart, he questioned everything. He often asked himself this question:

“All religions believe that their god is the real god, but who is the real God?” (more…)
