Faith Leaders Unite To Protect Life, Faith & Moral Values

Faith leader's statement on our shared values to save our babies, our morals, our schools and our faithMedia Release – For Immediate Release – 24th Monday November 2014

Rise Up Australia endorses faith leader’s statement on our shared values to save our babies, our morals, our schools and our faith

Daniel Nalliah, President of Rise Up Australia Party, is one of the first party leaders publicly to endorse a remarkable joint statement (click the photo on the left to read) by the eminent leaders of the Jewish, Christian and Muslim faiths identifying the four crucial moral issues in the Victorian State election.

Rabbi Shimon Cowen, Bishop Peter Elliott and Imam Riad Galil say in their statement that The Victorian law permitting abortion without anesthetic until birth is the worst abortion law in the world. The UN-sponsored Safe School’s programme to promote homosexuality in schools under the guise of preventing bullying is an attack on the freedom of parents to have children raised according to the values of their faith. Labor’s proposal to force religious schools to employ staff who do not share the school’s religious faith attacks the freedom and integrity of religious institutions. All parents are entitled to obtain a religious education for their children but that neither of the major parties has announced a commitment to fulfilment of this need.

Mr Nalliah, lead Upper House candidate for the South-Eastern Metropolitan Region, said “Faith leader’s statement recognizes our common cause to protect the Faith, Values and Moral decay in society. Never before has our heritage of moral principles been under such relentless and deliberate attack as it is today. Faith leaders stand united in their profound concern at the deliberate assaults on the moral principles on which Australia and the West were founded.

He added that it is alarming that the United Nations, whose charter of human rights states that everyone has the right to life, does nothing to uphold the rights of little children in the womb not to be tortured and then killed. It is still more concerning that the UN is actively supporting the promotion of homosexuality in our schools as though it were a normal lifestyle when in fact it is a life-threatening choice. If a child is bullied for stealing, one does not stop the bullying by celebrating stealing. The UN has arguably out lived what use fullness it once had.”

Is Barack Obama the worst president in American history?

For the past six years, America has been atoning for its great sin of slavery. I use the word “sin” because the secular creed on which our country was founded informs us that all men are created equal. The stain of slavery violated that creed.

Slavery ended in this country a long time ago, of course. In 1863, to be exact, when Republican President Abraham Lincoln issued the Emancipation Proclamation. For over 151 years, all Americans of all colors and races have been born free. Seven generations have come and gone.

Nevertheless, it is clear that many Americans voted for Barack Obama on the basis of the color of his skin and not, say, the color of his character. Blacks voted for him because he was black like them (even though, oddly enough, none of his ancestors, black or white, had ever experienced slavery). Other minorities voted for him because he was a “minority” like them. Still others voted for him because they believed that the only way to fully overcome America’s racist past was to elect a Black president.

Although I did not vote for Obama—despite being part Native American and married to a Hispanic—I too was proud of the fact that a half-white, half-black man had been elected president. His ancestors represented both sides of the racial divide, and yet had come together. I was not alone in thinking that he would bring America together in the same way, and heal the racial divisions that had plagued us for so long. Our nation would finally be one people, the first universal nation.

Sadly, instead of being the Great Uniter, Obama has instead proven himself to the Great Divider. In his policies, no less than in his speeches, he has repeatedly set black against white, poor against rich, woman against man, not to mention against their own unborn children. And he has done this for the pettiest of political reasons. He has, in my view, sacrificed the long-term interests of the country for short-term political gain.

RUA Party Campaigns in Dandenong, Victoria (one of the world’s largest Multi-Ethnic Communities) & speaks to several Muslims

Dear friends,

Rise Up Australia Party took to the streets of Dandenong yesterday to campaign for the upcoming Victoria State Election. Around 30-40 party members were wearing RUA Party T-shirts, led by National President Daniel Nalliah, who is also the Upper House Lead Candidate for South East Metropolitan Victoria

Rosalie Crestani the Second Upper House Candidate for the region, who is also a Councillor from the city of Casey, along with Lord Christopher Monckton, a former adviser to former PM Margret Thatcher, also joined in the campaign.

Dandenong in Victoria, which is one of the most Multi-Ethnic cities in the world and has a very large population of Muslims, was handpicked for this campaign to speak to people about the importance of keeping Australia Australian and to call on people to integrate into Australian way of life and culture.

As the RUAP team spoke to people one on one and shared the party policy principles, the response from the general public was overwhelmingly positive. Almost everyone received the party brochures, and many stopped to learn more about RUAP.

When asked whether they agreed to Islamic Sharia Law, almost every one responded NO. Even some Muslims said, “We left our country because of Sharia Law. We don’t want it here.” When asked what they thought of the burqa, most people said that they did not approve of the face being fully covered.

Mr Nalliah interviewed one Muslim man. You may click the link below to watch  what he had to say. It was very interesting.
