Muslim Imam Converts to Christianity, Now Preaches Jesus to Islamists

August 7, 2015 | By: Heather Clark

A former Muslim imam in Africa is sharing his story of how he converted from Islam to Christianity and now preaches Christ to Islamists throughout his country.

World Watch Monitor recently released the video testimony of a man who once was taught to persecute Christians as a Muslim and is now facing persecution himself as he preaches the gospel as a convert to the Christian faith. Tofik—not his real name—shares that as a child and young adult, he participated in violence against Christians as instructed.

“In school I only learned about Islam,” he stated. “Parts of our teaching were about destroying Christianity. So we did what we learned, by attacking Christians once we finished our training.”

Why Christians Must Fight Boycotts Against Israel

8/13/2015 Tom Brennan – Stand With Israel

Israel has faced many enemies in the past and faces even more today. Muslim terrorist armies such as Hamas, Hezbollah and the malevolent individuals within the Palestinian Authority are in the closest proximity.

The rapidly advancing ISIS and Caliphate forces and the expansion of Tehran and its goal of eliminating the Jewish State and all unbelievers has been moving towards active hostilities in their proxy wars. But the BDS activity has been perhaps as damaging as the violence because it attempts to harm Israel by causing financial harm to the nation of 8.2 million shekkels.

Boycotts are being staged in nations which have large Christian majorities and many are adopted by church denominations. Academic and professional groups adopt resolutions that use boycotts to support pro- Palestinian positions. The Palestinian Authority and other Muslim activists promote their position with a sophisticated social media campaign that utilizes outright lies, fraud and a willing media which follows any story that puts Israel in the worst light. The mainstream media has abandoned any semblance of balance, due diligence and fact checking to get attention from a gullible public.

Kim Phuc, Woman in Iconic 1972 Vietnam War Photo, Learns to Forgive through Her Christian Faith

By Isaiah Narciso (news@gospelherald.com) Jun 27, 2015

The iconic image that portrayed the horrors of the Vietnam War featured a 9-year-old girl running away naked from a napalm attack, suffering from burns back in 1972. That girl, Kim Phuc, recently met the photographer who shot that famous picture and is now a Christian.

According to Dianne Bourne of the Mirror, 52-year-old Phuc reunited with Vietnamese photographer Nick Ut, who took the picture that made front page news around the world, in England. She now works as a UNESCO Goodwill Ambassador and campaigns for peace around the world.

“When I look at the image I’m just amazed that I’m still alive, I’m so grateful and thankful for that,” Phuc said. “I have learned from tragedy, from the pain, from the challenges, and I’m so grateful to be healed.”

PLEASE TAKE TIME AND READ THIS ARTICLE IF YOU LOVE YOUR CHILDREN & NATION – Ps Daniel

Dear friends & family in Christ,

Will the church fail the nation once again?? Who did Jesus hang out with??

I have been asked by some Christians as to why I am joining up with right wing extremist groups, as the media calls these groups white supremacist, red necks, neo-Nazis and the list goes on.

Let me share my heart with you. For years now I have watched the church not advancing in the west but rather retreating. This is a very sad situation. While there are some mega churches, one needs to ask the question, are they focused on entertainment or discipleship?

Charles Spurgeon stated some 100 years ago, “The church needs shepherds leading the sheep, but there will come a day that clowns will be entertaining the goats”.

All through Europe in particular the church has lost her identity, and is no longer a voice in the community, where as Islam is absolutely on an onward march to capture Europe, with some ONE MILLION foot soldiers crossing into Europe in the past few months from the Middle East.

All throughout Europe churches are closing down and mosques are opening up. In Britain alone some 2000 churches have been converted into mosque in the past 10 years.

With some 70% of our nation stating that national security is their greatest worry the governments are struggling to find an answer to the Islamic terror caused by Islam.

So as a Christian Minister, why am I keeping the company of the Aussie Patriotic groups?

Gospel Still Spreading Despite Nepal’s New Constitution That Bans Converting Others

Christian Aid Mission Staff : Nov 13, 2015 : Gospel Herald

“When there was persecution, professing the name of Christ was very costly, but since the government became secular there’s freedom, and because of that there’s a lot of false teaching coming in, so it’s imperative that they know what true teaching is.”

(Nepal)—Nepal has quietly enshrined a long-time ban on proselytizing in its new constitution. For an indigenous ministry in Nepal that has long found ways to quietly proclaim Christ as Lord, that means business as usual.

As did the interim constitution of the prior seven years, the new constitution signed by Nepal’s president on Sept. 20 outlaws “any act to convert another person from one religion to another or any act or behavior to undermine or jeopardize the religion of another,” with violations punishable by prison and/or fines.

Christian Ministry In Nepal Competing for ‘Gospel Truth’ Against ‘False Teaching’ of Prosperity Preachers

The Christian Post – Stoyan Zaimov – November 15th, 2015

Nepalese Christians pray during their National Convention in Kathmandu April 20, 2010. The Nepalese Christians demanded the timely drafting of the constitution.

A Christian ministry in Nepal has reflected on the changing political currents in Nepal, and noted that as room for preaching the Gospel has grown, so has “false teaching” coming from groups such as Jehovah’s Witnesses, Mormons, and prosperity gospel preachers.

“When there was persecution, professing the name of Christ was very costly, but since the government became secular there’s freedom, and because of that there’s a lot of false teaching coming in, so it’s imperative that they know what true teaching is,” one ministry director working from Nepal said in a press release shared by Christian Aid Mission.

“With Jehovah’s Witnesses, Mormons, prosperity gospel and others coming in, that problem is increasing, and the people that they are shepherding need to get fed the truth of the Scripture.”

Christians facing ‘Indonesian jihad’ as churches burned on imams’ orders: report

By Edmund DeMarche –  November 12, 2015 – FoxNews.com

A 153-foot statue of an open-armed Jesus famously towers high above the Indonesian city of Manado, but Christians are under siege in the world’s fourth-most populous country, according to a disturbing new report.

The Southeast Asian nation, where about 90 percent of its 250 million people are Muslim, has long been seen as seen as an example that a large Muslim majority can live in relative peace alongside minority religions, like Christianity and Hinduism. But in October, there was a troubling outburst in violence in the Sharia-law governed region of Aceh. At the urging from Islamic leaders, hundreds of Muslims took to the streets with machetes and torched area churches.

“We will not stop hunting Christians and burning churches. Christians are Allah’s enemies,” one Islamic leader said, according to a report by the Gatestone Institute titled, “The Indonesian Jihad on Christian Churches.”

How Might a Brother Consider His Anger as a Christian vs. an “Angry Black Man”?

November 04, 2015 – The Gospel Coalition – Tony Carter

I’m angry, and I don’t really care what they say (I don’t really care what they say) I’m angry, nobody better get in my way (nobody better get in my way) – “Anger Management” by Lecrae.

I grew up around angry men. My father, my uncles, my brothers all at some time or another demonstrated what is commonly known as the “angry black man” syndrome. Some were seemingly able to control it and didn’t get in to too much trouble. Others however (too many in fact), tragically hurt others and themselves out of anger. I have known my own share.

I recall (not so fondly) a few years ago having an argument with my wife over something frivolous. While I was busy making my point and demanding my rightness, she looked at me and said the words I have never forgotten, “Honey you are right, but why do you get so angry?” I have never forgotten those words. They cut me to the core. It was as if the Lord himself spoke them to me. And in one sense, he had. I pledged on that day to fight that sin head on.

Report: Muslims in Northern Iraq “Just Sick of Islam” because of ISIS; Thousands Converting to Christianity

Leah Marieann Klett : Nov 3, 2015 : Gospel Herald

Northern Iraq)—More and more Kurdish Muslims living in Iraq are turning to Christ after witnessing the brutality of extremist groups like ISIS, who carry out horrific acts in the name of Allah, Christian aid workers have revealed.

A ministry leader in the Kurdish Region of Iraq told the Christian Aid Mission that his organization can barely keep up with the desire of refugees to learn about Christ and the Bible, which has grown increasingly strong since ISIS overtook many parts of the region.

“They’re just sick of Islam,” he said. “People are very hungry to know about Christ, especially when they hear about miracles, healing, mercy and love.”

He added, “As terrifying and horrifying as ISIS is, they did us a great favor because they came and have shown them all the killing, saying that it’s all in the Koran verses. So now we don’t have to say much, we just say the truth.”

Prepare for Persecution: A Message From Billy Graham

Prepare for Persecution A Message From Billy Graham10/27/2015 Billy Graham

In the event of a national catastrophe, much confusion, terror and consternation would reign. What would the Christian do? What should our attitude be? Which way would we turn if the country in which we live were suddenly wrecked and all the props gone?

As a whole, our nation does not know what privation is. We do not know what sacrifice is. We do not know what suffering is. Suppose persecution were to come to the church in America, as it has come in other countries.

The immunity to persecution that Christians in our country have experienced in the past two or three centuries is unusual. Christ strongly warned Christians that to follow Him would not be popular, and that in most circumstances it would mean cross-bearing and persecution.

The Bible says that all who “desire to live godly in Christ Jesus will suffer persecution” (2 Timothy 3:12). Jesus said that as the time of His return draws nigh, “They will seize you and persecute you” (Luke 21:12). We have no scriptural foundation for believing that we can forever escape being persecuted for Christ’s sake. The normal condition for Christians is that we should suffer persecution. Are you willing to face persecution and death for Christ’s sake?

10 Contrasts Between Real Christian Leaders and Hyped-Up Entertainers

October 31, 2015 – Charisma News

There is a great tendency in human nature to crave the affirmation of other human beings. With some people, their need for affirmation is so great it hinders their ability to discern between the will of God and the will of man. What is more alarming is the fact that those who lead churches and Christian organizations are not exempt from this tendency.

The fact of the matter is, if you are a local church pastor, chief executive officer of a ministry or business, you are called to lead not entertain. Many do not understand the difference. If your primary goal is to make people happy, become an entertainer, not a leader. Leaders by nature should be on the cutting edge of God’s will, which challenges people to leave their comfort zones.

Often times this causes people to be upset with their leaders. The leader also should keep people accountable to standards of excellence. This becomes especially difficult when a leader is close friends or family with those aligned under their spiritual authority. Many do not understand how to discern between business and friendship, and it causes a rift in the relationship.

The following are ten contrasts between entertainers and leaders:

  1.  Entertainers’ primary goal is to make people happy. A leader’s goal is to empower/provoke people to excellence.

An entertainer’s primary focus in their ministry is to keep their people happy and satisfied. Sometimes folks are happy because they are comfortable and feel secure but their own hearts are deceiving them. A true leader’s primary goal is to disturb the comfortable and provoke them to excellence. For example, if an athlete never pushed himself to the point of pain in his training, he will never excel. True leaders push their people to the perimeter of their potential in Christ.

The Crusades: A Direct Response to Islam’s Bloodlust

Liberty GB ^ | Sep 18, 2015 | Audrey Russo

Most of us infidels in the West have been lied to. Trusting the education system, foolishly, we believed all the bunk bundled into our textbooks concerning the period in history (1096-1272 AD) when the Crusades took place. They left out an itty-bitty piece of info … this will be great for all your ‘enlightened’ friends …

The real reason WHY the Crusades took place … and here’s the shocker: It was a response to Islam’s aggression!

That’s right, it all began with Muhammed’s implicit threat more than 450 years before the Crusaders entered Jerusalem. He said: “embrace Islam and you will be safe.” (Muhammed’s extortion letter to the Khaibar Jews.)

Some facts for your ill-informed friends / family / colleagues:

  • The Crusades were a delayed response for CENTURIES of Muslim aggression, that grew ever fiercer in the 11th century. The Muslims focused on Christians and Jews, forcing conversions, plundering and mortally wounding apostates.
  • The Crusades were a DEFENSIVE action, first called for by Pope Urban II in 1095 at the Council of Clermont.
  • The Crusades were a response against Jihad, which is obligatory against non-Muslims entering ‘Muslim lands’. (Muslim lands are any lands invaded and conquered by Islam.)
  • The motives of the Crusaders were pure. They were jihad-provoked and not imperialistic actions against a ‘peaceful’, native Muslim population. The Crusades were NOT for profit, but rather to recover the Holy Land brutally invaded and conquered by Muslims … who conquered for profit and as a notch on their superiority belt.
  • The lands conquered by the Crusaders were NOT colonized under the Byzantine Empire. The Empire withdrew its support so the Crusaders renounced their agreement.
