Australia: Gunmen spray Hindu temple with bullets

Sydney Morning Herald

The attacks have been in retaliation for noise and parking problems, says the Sydney Morning Herald.

In reality, they are more likely in retaliation for the Hindus’ irritating refusal to worship Allah alone and acknowledge Muhammad as his prophet. Islamic Tolerance Alert: “Gunshots prompt prayers for peace,” by Eamonn Duff and Natalie O’Brien in the Sydney Morning Herald, April 3 (thanks to Hindu Existence).

IT BEGAN with minor acts of vandalism, including egg throwing and smashed windows, but instead of remaining periodic footnotes in the night log at Auburn police station, the incidents have grown so violent – and the issue so culturally sensitive – that even authorities are reluctant to speak about them publicly.
Australia’s oldest Hindu temple, the Sri Mandir in Auburn, is under siege and its devotees gripped by fear.

On March 19, two men in balaclavas stood at the intersection of a nearby road, spraying the front of the prayer hall with eight rounds of bullets. The building was unoccupied at the time. (more…)

Japan’s Tragedy Turns Spiritual

Japan Recoveryby Teresa Neumann : Mar 21, 2011 : Mission Network News

“People are engaging in spiritual conversation with strangers. That’s just not typical.”

REPORTER’S NOTE: Although the governor of Tokyo is on record as saying he feared God might be punishing the Japanese people, we at BCN do not jump to that conclusion. Yes, God can punish sin, but given that every people group and every nation on the face of the earth is sinful, the world should have ceased to exist long ago. Above all, God is full of grace and mercy, and His heart is toward the Japanese people in this hour, wanting to draw them to Himself. -Teresa Neumann, BCN.

(Japan)—Warren Janzen, the International Director of SEND International, gave a sobering update on the situation in Japan this week, but notes that the disaster is now taking on a “spiritual tone.”

Janzen said the the governor of Tokyo, Shintaro Ishihara, made a public statement that he feared the Japanese were being “punished.”

“To have a public figure of his stature make a statement like that,” he said, “opens up a public discussion on spiritual things.”

“Some of our missionaries are going out on the street,” he continued, “talking to random people, talking about the earthquake, the tsunami, and the nuclear situation there. People are engaging in spiritual conversation with strangers. That’s just not typical.”

Janzen was also quoted as saying it’s a kairos moment for Japan. “We believe this an appointed time in the presence of God,” he said.

Heaven Is For Real—a Little Boy Shares His Experience “in Heaven”

Colton went to Heaven and came back to earthby Aimee Herd : Mar 16, 2011 : KWGN.com

“His experience in Heaven hasn’t changed [my] son, but because Colton was so young when it happened it has defined his life.” -Todd Burpo

Todd and Sonja Burpo of Imperial, Nebraska were visiting Colorado with their 3-year-old son Colton, when he began complaining of a stomach ache. Despite suggestions of possible appendicitis, he was dismissed, but returned to a hospital two days later, and was eventually rushed into surgery.

It was discovered that his appendix had burst some five days before he was finally diagnosed.

Now his life hung by a thread and his parents hit their knees in prayer. Miraculously, little Colton survived. And, after a couple of surgeries and a difficult recovery, their boy bounced back.

The Koran Riots in Afghanistan: An Indictment of All Islam

NewsReal ^ | April 1, 2011 | Rob Taylor

Posted on Saturday, April 02, 2011 by TheHawksNest

7 United Nations workers were murdered by a crowd of angry Muslims in Afghanistan during protests organized by religious leaders. The clerics drove through the city of Mazar-i-Sharif with loud speakers, demanding that Muslims “protest” the burning of a Koran by a Florida pastor.  Two of the UN workers were beheaded.

The leftist media here is placing the blame squarely on Koran burner Terry Jones while desperately clinging to the myth of the peaceful Muslim protest that “just got out of control”–no doubt hijacked by a that tiny minority of extremists the media thinks is responsible for over 1,000 years of Islamic Imperialism. But when the Left here makes excuses for Muslim barbarity they ignore reality and the internal drives of unreformed Islam that make Muslims predisposed to mayhem and violence.

There is no other religious group on Earth that murders and rapes more people whenever they feel attacked and insulted nor is there one that attacks and insults other religions as regularly. While the Muslims in Afghanistan murdered innocent people because one man in Florida burned a Koran, Saudi authorities tortured and arrested two Indian Christians for praying. During the arrest Saudi religious police trampled the victims’ Bibles and tore the holy books. (more…)

Young Footy players coming to Jesus / CTFM Credentialing Service

Young Footy players and others surrender to Jesus in Culcairn, NSWPr Daniel ministering in Culcairn, NSWDear family & friends in Christ,

1) We thank and praise our Heavenly Father for another wonderful weekend of advancing the Kingdom of God, not by might, nor by power, but by the Spirit of the Lord of hosts!

I’m sure you too would have had a great weekend in your church glorifying our Lord Jesus Christ, died, risen, ascended, soon coming King of Kings and LORD of lords!

At CTFM in Hallam, VIC we had 2 visiting ministers with Pastor Jacob from India in the morning service and Pastor Bernard from Malaysia at the evening service. The Spirit of God moved very powerfully at both services as many were mightily touched and blessed through the anointed word of the Lord and some amazing testimonies from these two humble servants of God.  One of the Christian ministers shared how he was a Hindu before God supernaturally touched him and he surrendered his life to Jesus.

Last Thursday night, Evangelist Jason from CTFM ministered in a Holy Spirit revival outpouring at an AOG church in Cranbourne, VIC where people were born-again into the Kingdom of God, miraculously healed, delivered, set free from demonic spirits of depression and others, receiving the mighty baptism of the Holy Spirit and Fire to Rise Up Australia and the Nations for the 2nd coming of Jesus!

Over the weekend, Pr Daniel and a team from CTFM ministered in Culcairn & Holbrook, NSW where people from 6 different churches attended the Holy Spirit meetings, including some from the Catholic and Lutheran churches. All glory to God for bringing the body of Christ together!

Algeria: Where Revival Refuses to Cease

Church remains after Muslim attackby Aidan Clay : Feb 28, 2011 : ASSIST News

“During that year we went to villages where there were no Christians, we prayed for the village, and after a few months we would hear that there were Believers there. People had dreams, visions; some of them discovered Christian radio programs. We didn’t share the Gospel directly with many people, but God in His way, preached the Gospel. It was like an explosion in all the Kabylie area and it’s continuing now.” -Pastor Raba.

(Tizi Ouzou, Algeria)—As reported in Assist News, last year, an angry mob damaged the Tafat Church in Tizi Ouzou. International Christian Concern (ICC), a Washington DC-based human rights organization, visited Algeria, including Tizi Ouzou, just months after the attack on Tafat Church. The purpose for the visit was to encourage Algeria’s Christians and assist their unmet needs, but as happens more often than not when meeting with persecuted brethren, it was ICC who came away more encouraged.

Meeting with house church pastors in remote villages in the beautiful Kabylie Mountains, they shared stories of God’s work amongst their people and reminisced about Algeria’s great—and enduring—20 year revival.

A Brave Servant of Christ Pays the Ultimate Price for His Courage

Pakistanti Minister Martyred for defending Christianityby Aimee Herd : Mar 3, 2011 : Michelle A. Vu – Christian Post

“I am mindful that in the struggle to protect the religious freedom, the rights of minorities…I can be assassinated. I can be killed. But I will continue to follow the principles that I believe. I will continue to raise the voice of the voiceless. And I will not feel fear because of these threats because I follow Jesus Christ who has given His own life for us….” –Shahbaz Bhatti

The Pakistani Minister for Minorities, Shahbaz Bhatti—who worked tirelessly on behalf of Christians and minorities in Pakistan, to give them a voice and try to gain their protection—was gunned down reportedly by the Taliban, on Wednesday, March 2nd. (Photo: Reuters/Faisal Mahmood)

Perhaps he somehow knew something might happen that day since he told his security guards—who usually travel with him—to stay home.

Bhatti had indeed been receiving death threats, according to a Christian Post interview, after speaking out against Pakistan’s blasphemy laws which had been used as the basis for the arrest of Asia Bibi, a Christian mother of five.

Sunni v Shia

Sunni vs Shia in the Middle EastZaki Chehab – Published 12 February 2007

The clash between Sunni and Shia Muslims is the greatest cause of strife across the Arab world. Here – as part of our special issue on Islam – Zaki Chehab explains the deep-lying roots of the turmoil

Iraqis have already given it a name: the “Bloody Evening”. At about 5pm on Saturday 3 February, a Mercedes lorry carrying more than a tonne of explosives was detonated in the Sadriyah neighbourhood of Baghdad, killing 150 people and wounding 300 more. The suicide bomber had driven into a food market in a largely Shia area; the result was the greatest loss of life from a single bomb since the US invasion of 2003.

From weary experience, Iraqis know that it is only a matter of time before Shia militants seek revenge. While hundreds of thousands of Iraqis have sought refuge in neighbouring countries, the majority who cannot leave or cannot afford to leave are trapped in a cycle of sectarian killings that the religious and political leaderships of Shias and Sunnis alike have failed to arrest. Abbas, a Shia friend who left Baghdad recently, told me from his new base in Jordan that he had been forced to go – he had been unable to send his three children to school for fear they would fall victim to the Iraqi sectarian killings that are claiming the lives of a hundred people a day. He described the grisly scene with municipal trucks going out each morning to collect the bodies of those killed the previous night. Corpses found in plastic bags were evidence that the victims had been kidnapped and disposed of when no ransom was paid.

GLOBAL JIHAD – Former CIA chief warns: U.S. ‘at war’ with Shariah

Robert James WoolseyPosted: February 13, 2011 – By Les Kinsolving © 2011 WorldNetDaily

Robert James Woolsey tells CPAC it’s not ‘Islamophobic’ to resist spread of Muslim law.

Robert James Woolsey, former director of the Central Intelligence Agency, told a break-out session of the Conservative Political Action Conference in Washington, D.C., that America needs to stop being so politically correct and realize it is “at war” with those who would spread Islamic, or Shariah, law.

“We have to understand that we are in a war here – certainly with the terrorists; certainly with Al Qaida; certainly with Hamas and Hezbollah,” Woolsey said. “We’re also at war, with no choice of our own, with those who want to, over the long run, impose Shariah [Islamic law] upon us.

“And it is one of the toughest fights we have ever had or will have,” he continued, “because Americans are used to religious liberty and not criticizing one another’s religions.” (more…)

Pr Daniel & Wife Maryse celebrate their 24th wedding anniversary today

Pastor Daniel & wife MaryseDear family & friends in Christ,

Please join together with us to wish  Pr Daniel & his wife Maryse a very happy anniversary and God’s richest blessings, as they celebrate their 24th wedding anniversary today the 28th of march.

Yesterday at church we had the opportunity to Pray for and Honour this Man & Woman of God, who have endured much for the Kingdom of God  and come through many challenges in life. They have been such a role model to all of us and we thank God for sending them to Australia, to see our nation come back to Jesus.

It is very rare to see a family so committed to the Lord and Pr Daniel’s willingness to keep standing for the truth of the Word of God at a time when there is so much compromise for political correctness.
