Al-Qaida revenge attacks to have ‘devastating effect’

The death of Osama bin Laden will bring a “new era of jihad,” predicted British extremist cleric Anjem Choudary.

Warning there are motivated jihadists “in the heart of America,” Choudary said al-Qaida will likely carry out revenge operations with “meticulous accuracy” and “devastating affect” comparable to that of the 9/11 attacks.

Choudary is the founder and former chief of two Islamic groups disbanded by the British authorities under anti-terror legislation.

Speaking today in an interview with “Aaron Klein Investigative Radio” of New York’s WABC Radio, Choudary said that while bin Laden was a “lion of Islam … there are many lions waiting to take his place.”

“I do believe that the death of Sheikh Osama will bring in a new era of jihad,” Choudary told Klein.

Atheist Who Went to Hell and Was Saved Gives Riveting Testimony

Former Atheist Matthew Botsford and his wifeby Teresa Neumann : May 9, 2011 : Josephine Vivaldo – The Christian Post

“Hell is a real place. Hell was never intended for us; God doesn’t want any one of us to go there. He wants all of us to come to Him through repentance. It’s a simple thing. We believe that Jesus is the son of God and we should have a relationship with Him. It’s important to spend time with Him and get to know His Word. It’s all based on relationship.”

Matthew Botsford—who, today has a ministry called “Seeds of Love”—experienced Hell first-hand during a 27-day coma after his business partner was killed and he was shot in the head.

In an interview by Josephine Vivaldo for The Christian Post, Botsford explains that he was an atheist at the time of the shooting.

Of his experience in Hell, he says: “I immediately was in my full bodily form. I looked like myself but I didn’t have any clothes on and I was hung like crucifixion style in a very deep abyss. All I could see beneath me was very red, it was very hot. I was chained on both my wrists and I had shackles on my ankles. I knew I was in some sort of cavern. It was pitch black. I knew I was going to be there forever. I knew there was nothing I can do to get myself out of it. I didn’t know the name of Jesus so I never prayed, you know ‘Jesus, please save me.'”

“There was this continual mocking,” he added, “this sense of hopelessness, and evil in all sides. There was nothing good there. It was totally void. Even in life, if we are having a bad day we kind of know that something good is around the corner. There was nothing good around the corner.”

Australia Gets It Right on Sharia Implementation – Mark Durie Blog

Spread of IslamDear family & friends in Christ,

I am sure you are well aware of the news over the last week that the Islamic Federation of Australia has requested the Federal Government to implement Islamic Sharia law in Australia. What is most interesting is the fact that this organization is supposed to be representing the voice of moderate mainstream Muslims in Australia.

Following is a very good article written by Rev Mark Durie (Anglican Minister) who was one of the expert witnesses in the court case between the Islamic Council of Victoria and CTFM from 2002 to 2007.

Rising Up Australia for God’s Righteousness,

Australia Gets It Right on Sharia Implementation – by Rev Mark Durie

Tuesday, May 17, 2011

The Australian Government is holding a national inquiry into multiculturalism.  The Australian newspaper yesterday reported that the Australian Federation of Islamic Councils has requested the introduction of Sharia law under the umbrella of multiculuralism (the AFIC submission can be downloaded here: other submissions are available here).  However, Australian Attorney-General, Robert McClelland has stated that:

“Sharia law has no place in the Australian legal system.”

“As our citizenship pledge makes clear, coming to Australia means obeying Australian laws and upholding Australian values.”

Syrian Christians threatened: join anti-government uprising or leave

12th May 2011 – Barnabas is helping Christians affected by the unrest

As demonstrations against the Syrian government intensify, Christians are coming under increasing pressure to join the uprising – or leave.

Syrian churches have received threatening letters calling them to join demonstrations

In one Christian village outside the southern city of Deraa a home came under fire by a group of masked men on motorbikes, while Muslim residents in the village of Hala have issued an ultimatum to their Christian neighbours either to join the demonstrations against President Bashar al-Assad’s regime or to leave. Their demands are making life extremely difficult for the Christians, who have closed their shops and are considering what course of action to take. Churches have also received threatening letters.

Barnabas Fund is one of the very few Christian agencies working to assist the Christians in Syria, and has done so for many years. They are in particular need of humanitarian help now, with food prices rocketing as the country’s economy is affected by the unrest.

Ex-Muslims thank CTFM for sharing the love of Jesus / Healed from Cancer

Baby Shameer, Mother, Grandmother, and others at CTFM celebrate his 1st Birthday Dear family & friends in Christ,Baby Shameer with Pastor Daniel and wife Maryse

1) We thank God for His mighty hand and Holy Spirit at work amongst His people across Australia and the Nations of the World!

The weekend gone by was absolutely glorious at CTFM in Hallam, Melbourne. Many received a mighty touch from the Lord, as they waited at the altar soaking in the presence of God in worship. Amongst the people at the altar was a young mum and her mother, who were once Muslims, but are now worshippers of the Lord Jesus Christ.

This young mum was brought to our attention about 18 months ago, when she was only 13 years of age, 3 months pregnant and not sure what she was going to do, as she did not have a father and her family was in great trouble. We were also told that they were all Muslims.

So after we prayed with the leading of the Holy Spirit the family was approached by some of our counselling team from Options + Care (Pregnancy Counselling Division of CTFM). After a few visits the young mum decided to keep the baby and gave birth to a beautiful baby boy in May 2010. Pr Daniel & sister GerSister Geraldine, Baby Shameer, Mother, Grandmother and others at CTFMaldine from O+C visited them in the hospital and dedicated the baby to the Lord Jesus Christ.

Glory to God as now the whole family are born-again Christians!

We celebrated the baby’s 1st birthday this last Sunday at church.  The grandmother shared her amazing testimony and thanked Jesus for giving them a new family at CTFM.

Palau First Foreign Evangelist to Preach Christ Openly in Vietnam since 1975

Palau Fest in Ho Chi Minh City by Aimee Herd : Apr 15, 2011 : MNN

Luis Palau, his son Andrew and their team were met at the airport by a cheering crowd of about 500 people carrying roses.

Luis Palau, his son Andrew and their ministry team have made history this month. They broke a dry spell of permission of foreign evangelists to preach the Gospel openly in Vietnam.

As the team arrived in Ho Chi Minh City on April 5th, they were welcomed by a crowd of about 500, cheering and carrying roses.

Palau was literally “walking by faith” for the festival they had put together to be held in the city, since officials still had not granted them a permit. Finally, only 3 hours before the event was scheduled to start, a permit was given—but for a different location. (more…)

Sadly, I’ve been proved right. Britain IS a centre of terror. Tragically, our rulers can’t see the truth

Terror: Preachers like Abu Hamza helped spread the hated in London - and little was done to stop itBy Melanie Phillips – 27th April 2011

So now we are all finally able to see just why Britain’s capital came to be known contemptuously as ‘Londonistan’.

Some five years ago, I wrote a book by that name which laid out the extent to which Britain had become the global hub of Islamic terrorism outside the Muslim world itself.

So bad was this phenomenon that the French secret service, which had tried in vain to alert Britain to the dangers, dubbed it ‘Londonistan’ in a sarcastic reference to the flow into London of Muslim extremists who had been radicalised in Afghanistan.

Terror: Preachers like Abu Hamza helped spread the hated in London – and little was done to stop it

Worse still, I wrote, the British political, legal and security establishments were still refusing to get to grips with the threat posed to Britain by militant Muslims who wanted to conquer it for Islam.

Holy Spirit fire falls, demons scream in Mildura, Australia

Pr Daniel ministering to people in MilduraDear family & friends in Christ in Australia and around the World,

1) We thank and praise the Lord for another wonderful and very special weekend!

Surely, many mothers were blessed by their families and especially by the Lord over the Mother’s Day weekend!

Pr Daniel stated, “We just want to say to all the Mums who did not get a chance to spend time with their families, that we love you heaps. Even though at times your own family may forget about you, Jesus will never forget about you, as He loves you very much. We pray, ‘Oh, Lord please bless every Mum mightily.’”

During the last weekend, Pr Daniel ministered in Mildura at the Living Waters Church where the Spirit of God moved mightily in transforming people’s lives at every meeting. Many responded to the altar call and were tremendously blessed. Many people shared testimonies of how their lives were absolutely revolutionized by the power of God!

As the anointing of the Holy Spirit increased at every service and worshippers entered into the presence of God, demons started screaming and several people were set free from demonic bondages!

Clashes leave 12 dead as Christians attacked in Egypt

Christians persecuted by Muslims in EgyptBarnabas Fund – 9th May 2011

Egyptian Christians came under attack at the weekend as Islamists set fire to two churches and Christian property, resulting in clashes that left 12 dead and more than 200 injured.

The unrest, which broke out in north-west Cairo on Saturday, has been described as one of the most serious outbreaks of sectarian violence since the revolution.

As several hundred Salafist Muslims descended on a church in Imbaba district, Christians barricaded themselves inside and around the building in a bid to protect it and, as demonstrations turned violent, Islamists stormed a six-storey residential building, claiming Christian snipers were positioned inside. Fire bombs were thrown at the church and at Christian homes and shops; the Muslim mob later attacked a second church, setting it ablaze.

The attackers chanted, “With our blood and soul, we defend you Islam” while Christians complained about the lack of security. One church leader said: They are people who are systematically attacking us and there are no police or military to protect us.

Billy Graham Tells Universalist: Hell Is Real

Evangelist Billy GrahamBy Jennifer Riley | Christian Post Reporter – Apr. 06 2011

Billy Graham, retired evangelist and spiritual counselor to U.S. presidents, stated plainly to a questioner with a universalist worldview that hell is real.

A questioner identified only as P.McN had contacted Graham and asked: “Why would a loving God send anyone to hell? I can’t reconcile the idea of hell with Jesus’ teaching about love. I’m not sure I even believe in hell anyway. Maybe everyone will be saved, even if they weren’t expecting it.”

The respected evangelical leader pointed the person to Luke 12:5, where Jesus says, “I will show you whom you should fear: Fear him who, after the killing of the body, has power to throw you into hell. Yes, I tell you, fear him.”

“It may surprise you to discover that no one taught about hell or warned us against it more than Jesus – and we should take his words very seriously,” responded Graham, 92, to the questioner on the Billy Graham Evangelistic Association’s “Billy Graham’s My Answer” webpage on Tuesday. (more…)

Pray for the Peace of JerusalemDear friends and family in Christ in Australia and around the World,

We’re forwarding the following email we received from Curt Landry of One New Man United
with a 2 minute Youtube video link regarding a Call for Millions of Muslims to invade Jerusalem, Israel on 15th May 2011.

Please pray as never before for Jerusalem (Psalm 122:6), because if this truly happens, we will see a major war breakout in Israel very soon.

Dear Elijah List Readers:

In late March, 2011, a battle cry was released in the Middle East as the Palestinian Authority recreated a Third Intifada page, which had previously been banned by Facebook. This page was calling for the destruction of the State of Israel and encouraging the gathering of millions to invade Israel’s borders on May 15, 2011. Once the page was removed from Facebook, additional pages with the same call to action have been posted. Since their creation, these Facebook pages have gathered hundreds of thousands of “Likes,” with similar pages gathering over 3,000,000 votes of support.

Was Osama a true Muslim or a radical Islamic extremist? / By Pr Daniel

Osama Bin LadenPastor DanielDear family and friends in Christ,

There has been much news in the media all over the world in the last few days regarding the death of Osama bin Laden.

This man who was driven by a very evil agenda and who managed to terribly change the world in some 10 years through violence and fear, has successfully put Islam on the global scene.

So, was he a radical Islamic extremist or was he a true Muslim who followed the Quran?? Click the following link to read a document and make up your mind as to whether this man followed the Quran or not??

https://reformationharvestfire.com/blog/wp-content/uploads/2011/05/we-must-care-for-australia.pdf

A true believer of any faith is a person who follows the fundamental doctrines of the faith, generally called a ‘fundamentalist’.

The question then needs to be asked, are there good Muslims? The answer is YES, of course.  However, they are not necessarily true Muslims according to Mohammed and the Quran.  Many Muslims have not read, nor follow the whole Quran, and prefer living a peaceful life.
