A Growing Force to be Reckoned With: Iraqi Army Gains More Female Fighters Who Have Escaped ISIS’ Slavery

Leah Marieann Klett : Feb 10, 2016 : The Gospel Herald

“Now we are defending ourselves from the evil; we are defending all the minorities in the region. We will do whatever is asked of us.” –Capt. Khatoon Khider

(Iraq)—Hundreds of Iraqi women who were tortured and kept as sex slaves by the Islamic State have escaped and joined the Kurdish forces to exact revenge on the terrorist group.

According to a report from Fox News, a number of the 2,000 Yazidi women who escaped ISIS after their mountain stronghold was attacked in August 2014 recently signed up to fight against the jihadist group. So far, 123 women—dubbed the “Force of Sun Ladies”—are officially fighting alongside Kurdish Peshmerga forces, while another 500, ranging in age from 17 to 37, are waiting to be trained.

What Really Happens in the 4 Most Common Abortion Procedures?

Brian Gottstein /Live Action : Feb 24, 2016 : Charisma News

“This unique window into the womb dispels the myth that abortions remove ‘clumps of cells,’ and instead shows that they kill real children with beating hearts and forming brains at just 3 1/2 weeks gestation.”

EDITOR’S NOTE: You’ve heard the faulty saying, “Ignorance is bliss.” There is NO bliss related to abortions. It’s so important to actually KNOW what happens with each kind of abortion procedure, and to not be ignorant; because I believe any abortion-minded person who actually takes the time to see the facts with their own eyes, will change their mind. These videos are NOT graphic, not actual ultrasound images, but animated demonstrations of what happens in each procedure–including RU486. Click here to view these videos. -Aimee Herd, BCN.

With the right to life as a major issue in 2016, pro-life investigative video producer Live Action released videos today aimed at changing the abortion debate in America. For the first time ever, a former abortionist will use medical animations to clearly depict what actually happens to a baby and her mother during an abortion.

Indian doctor fights gendercide by delivering baby girls for free

PUNE, India, February 16, 2016 (LifeSiteNews)

As a child, Dr. Ganesh Rakh wanted to be a wrestler. Now he wrestles with one of India’s most destructive prejudices. The hospital he started in 2007 to serve the poor in the city of Pune, 60 miles southeast of Mumbai, delivers girl babies for free as part of his effort to reverse India’s murderous – and growing – preference for male children.

“As a medical professional I have seen the torture that a mother undergoes when she comes to know that she has delivered a girl,” Dr. Bakh told reporters, “because regressive social norms are not only anti-women but are even anti-girl child.”

Often wrongly termed infanticide, the Indian preference for males has led to an estimated 12,700,000 sex-selective abortions of girls from 2000 to 2014, according to the pro-life Population Research Institute. The Virginia-based PRI’s executive director, Stephen Mosher, says Indian gendercide is especially acute among the country’s middle class, which allow 800 girls to be born to every 1,000 males (the overall ratio is 927:1,000).

Saudi Singer on Egyptian TV Criticizes Radical Islam, Defends the West

Published Feb. 11, 2016 – Larry Elder

This fight against radical Islam is also a fight within Islam. Where, we constantly ask, are the voices of “moderation” who question the barbarity committed in the name of Islam?

Consider Shams Bandar.

Born in Saudi Arabia, this popular singer renounced her Saudi citizenship, lives in Europe and intends to become a citizen of a European country. On an Egyptian channel called Dream TV, Bandar said to the astonished host, “We have been fighting and shedding blood for 1,400 years, and now we are blaming America and Britain?”

Provided by the Middle East Media Research Institute, here is a translated transcript of the exchange:

Host: “Are you trying to sell the notion that foreign citizenship is the paradise that will save you from the hell of the Arab world?”

The hypnotic dance of death

January 28, 2016 – By Alexander Maistrovoy

The cultural totalitarianism of the postmodern era did the impossible: it changed the very nature of man.

In my correspondence regarding the events in Cologne, an editor of a Russian newspaper asked a natural but discouraging question. Perplexed, he asked me: “Where were the German men?”

Indeed, for those of us who grew up in Soviet Russia, it would be inconceivable that some drunk young people could publicly mock and harass girls on New Year’s Eve in the very center of Moscow or Saint Petersburg. If they dared to do this, they wouldn’t survive until the morning; they would become “martyrs” and would have their way with 72 virgins in a completely different realm.

Ethical codes, embedded in us on a genetic level, would demand that we intervene on behalf of the women. Especially in a situation where normal adult men were more numerous than the rapists, and the rapists themselves were not terrorists, cyborgs or aliens, but mere street punks.

“Christian Girls Are Only Meant for the Pleasure of Muslim Men”

January 29, 2016 – by Raymond Ibrahim

Three Christian girls in Pakistan, who rejected the advances of some wealthy Muslim young men, were recently mauled by them. One of the girls died.

London-born Chairman of the British Pakistani Christian Association (BPCA) and human rights activist, Wilson Chowdhry, who broke the story, reported that one of the men had said: “Christian girls are only meant for one thing, the [sexual] pleasure of Muslim men.”

The incident occurred on January 13 in Lahore. The three girls—aged 17, 18, and 20—were walking home after a hard day’s work. Four Muslim youths in a vehicle followed the girls and accosted them. The men “misbehaved,” yelled “suggestive and lewd comments,” and harassed the girls to get in their car for “a ride and some fun.”

The girls declined the “invitation,” adding that they were “devout Christians and did not practice sex outside of marriage.”

Pakistan: Bill banning child marriage fails after it’s deemed un-Islamic

January 16, 2016 – Robert Spencer

Islamic apologists in the West argue furiously that child marriage has nothing to do with Islam, and that the idea that Muhammad married a child is the invention of greasy Islamophobes. In reality, few things are more abundantly attested in Islamic law than the permissibility of child marriage. Islamic tradition records that Muhammad’s favorite wife, Aisha, was six when Muhammad wedded her and nine when he consummated the marriage:

“The Prophet wrote the (marriage contract) with Aisha while she was six years old and consummated his marriage with her while she was nine years old and she remained with him for nine years (i.e. till his death)” (Bukhari 7.62.88).

Another tradition has Aisha herself recount the scene:

The Prophet engaged me when I was a girl of six (years). We went to Medina and stayed at the home of Bani-al-Harith bin Khazraj. Then I got ill and my hair fell down. Later on my hair grew (again) and my mother, Um Ruman, came to me while I was playing in a swing with some of my girl friends. She called me, and I went to her, not knowing what she wanted to do to me. She caught me by the hand and made me stand at the door of the house. I was breathless then, and when my breathing became Allright, she took some water and rubbed my face and head with it. Then she took me into the house. There in the house I saw some Ansari women who said, “Best wishes and Allah’s Blessing and a good luck.” Then she entrusted me to them and they prepared me (for the marriage). Unexpectedly Allah”s Apostle came to me in the forenoon and my mother handed me over to him, and at that time I was a girl of nine years of age. (Bukhari 5.58.234).

Thousands of Young Female Soldiers Take Up Arms Against ISIS to Defend Christians, Religious Minorities

August 17, 2015 – The Christian Post – Hermoine Macura

Thousands of young female soldiers have taken up arms in recent months in the fight against Islamic State as the terror group attempts to expand across Syria and Iraq, killing and enslaving thousands of women and children in its path.

“Islamic State is planning to increase their territory as they did in Syria,” 24-year-old Nasreen Kobani told The Christian Post. ” …They are fighting to be holy and qualify for Jannah (Islamic paradise), despite committing countless crimes against humanity. After they kill civilians, they mutilate their corpses, burn their bodies and cut out their eyes.”

Many women from across the Arab world are standing up to defend their families, land and freedom. Today about 8,000 women from all over Syria, Iraq, Iran,Turkey and elsewhere have volunteered to join the YPJ, also known as the “Women’s Protection Unit,” which defends the Kurdish population of Syria and other innocent civilians, including Christians, from Islamic State.

Kim Phuc, Woman in Iconic 1972 Vietnam War Photo, Learns to Forgive through Her Christian Faith

By Isaiah Narciso (news@gospelherald.com) Jun 27, 2015

The iconic image that portrayed the horrors of the Vietnam War featured a 9-year-old girl running away naked from a napalm attack, suffering from burns back in 1972. That girl, Kim Phuc, recently met the photographer who shot that famous picture and is now a Christian.

According to Dianne Bourne of the Mirror, 52-year-old Phuc reunited with Vietnamese photographer Nick Ut, who took the picture that made front page news around the world, in England. She now works as a UNESCO Goodwill Ambassador and campaigns for peace around the world.

“When I look at the image I’m just amazed that I’m still alive, I’m so grateful and thankful for that,” Phuc said. “I have learned from tragedy, from the pain, from the challenges, and I’m so grateful to be healed.”

American Woman Raised by Lesbians Campaigns in Australia in FAVOR of Traditional Marriage

Teresa Neumann : Aug 18, 2015 : Australian Broadcasting Corporation

“What is government’s interest in marriage? It’s really not about affirming the connections that we have with one another. It has to do with the product of those unions and there’s something distinct about the product of a union between heterosexuals. What’s distinct is that they make babies and those babies have rights and those babies deserve protection.” -Katy Faust

(Australia) – As Australia is being pressured into voting to legalize gay marriage, proponents of traditional marriage are lending their support to the nation. One is Katy Faust, an American woman who was raised by lesbians and wants the world to know that children have a “right” to a father. (Video shot via ABC Australia)

Recently, Tony Jones, of the Australian Broadcasting Corporation interviewed Faust. The following are excerpts from that interview:

TONY JONES: How is it that the daughter of lesbian mothers has become a leading opponent of gay marriage? How does that work?

KATY FAUST: Simply because I recognized that while my mother was a fantastic mother and most of what I do well as a mother myself I do because that’s how she parented me, she can’t be a father. Her partner, an incredible woman – both of these women have my heart – cannot be a father either. Children have a right to be in relationship with their mother and father whenever possible, and as a society, we shouldn’t normalize a family structure that requires children to lose one or both parents to be in that household. Soccer superstar Ronaldo survived mom’s illegal abortion attempt

LISBON, Portugal, November 12, 2015 (LifeSiteNews)

Cristiano Ronaldo, a Portuguese soccer is alive today only because the law at his conception prohibited a legal abortion, and he survived in utero an illegal, but ineffective folkloric alternative abortion method.

Ronaldo’s origins have come under focus recently because of a just-released documentary film, Ronaldo, and a recent book.

The film is structured around Ronaldo’s intense desire to win the league’s best player award—the Ballon d’Or—over soccer rival Lionel Messi.

But The London Telegraph observes, “At the edge of the frame is an insightful and rather sad portrait of addiction, loneliness and a yearning to fill a hole that can never be filled.” The Telegraph says that need is to please a father who was first absent because of alcoholism and then because of an early, drink-induced death.
