This is about the dignity of human life from the womb to the tomb. This is about religious freedom…” -Southern Baptist Convention President Ronnie Floyd

204 Queensland babies were born alive during abortions then left to die: Health Minister

QUEENSLAND, Australia, June 15, 2016 (LifeSiteNews)

The number of babies born alive during late-term abortions in the Australian state of Queensland every year more than tripled in ten years, Health Minister Cameron Dick told the Queensland Parliament as it considers a bill to legalize abortion on demand in the state.

Abortion is illegal in Queensland except when deemed necessary for the “preservation of the mother’s life,” which courts have interpreted to include physical and mental health.

Dick reported that the number of late-term abortions resulting in live births jumped from eight in 2005 to 27 in 2015.  There have been a total of 204 live births from late-term abortions from 2005 to 2015.  Queensland Health confirmed that these babies are not cared for after their birth and are left to die in abortion centers.

Franklin Graham Calls Out Pakistan for Considering a New Law Allowing Husbands to Beat Their Wives

Leah Marieann Klett : Jun 2, 2016 : Gospel Herald

“Islam wants to put you behind a veil of horror. With true Christianity, women are treated with dignity and respect. Jesus Christ elevated women, and if you put your faith and trust in Him, He will never let you down.”

Franklin Graham has warned “women of the world” that Islam wants to put them behind a “veil of horror” after the leader of a Pakistani Islamic council proposed a bill that allows husbands to “lightly beat” their wives as a form of discipline.

Last week, Mohammad Khan Sheerani released a 75-page proposal suggesting that a light beating with a stick is acceptable should the need arise to punish a woman.

Bangladesh: Muslims murder wife of anti-terror cop and Christian grocer

June 5, 2016 – By Robert Spencer

“Babul Aktar is an efficient police officer and played a key role in apprehending Islamists. They might have killed his wife because they failed to get him.” Will the Islamophobia never end?

DHAKA — The wife of a senior Bangladeshi police official known for battling Islamist militants was stabbed and shot to death on Sunday, and machete-wielding assailants killed a Christian grocer in a separate incident.

Both attacks appeared to be the work of Islamist militants who have killed at least 30 people, including religious minorities, liberal bloggers and academics, since February last year, police said.

Three assailants riding a motorcycle stabbed and then shot Mahmuda Aktar, 33, while she was on her way to put her son onto a school bus near her home in the southeastern port city of Chittagong, police said.

Why Is Christianity Thriving in Nepal?

By Jo Anne Lyon , Op-Ed Contributor – March 3, 2016

Christians in Nepal.

Whatever you have learned or received or heard from me, or seen in me — put it into practice. And the God of peace will be with you. – Philippians 4:9

In Nepal, Hinduism reigns as the primary religion — out of Nepal’s population of 28 million, Christians make up less than 1.5 percent. Recently, the former Hindu kingdom adopted a new constitution that declared the country a secular state.

Under the new constitution, the freedom of religion is technically upheld but attempting to change or convert someone from one religion to another is punishable by law. In addition, Christianity remains socially unacceptable, often inciting violence and oppression. While you can legally choose your religion in Nepal, Nepali Christians continue to suffer inequality and persecution as they have for decades.

Sweden: 46% of women over 16 are afraid to go out after dark for fear of rape by Muslim migrants

March 5, 2016 By Robert Spencer

Surprised? Don’t be. The Qur’an teaches that Infidel women can be lawfully taken for sexual use (cf. its allowance for a man to take “captives of the right hand,” 4:3, 4:24, 23:1-6, 33:50, 70:30). The Qur’an says: “O Prophet, tell your wives and your daughters and the women of the believers to bring down over themselves of their outer garments. That is more suitable that they will be known and not be abused.

And ever is Allah Forgiving and Merciful.” (33:59) The implication there is that if women do not cover themselves adequately with their outer garments, they may be abused, and that such abuse would be justified.

How these Muslim migrants have enriched Sweden!

Clinton and Sanders finally questioned on abortion at Fox News townhall

DETROIT, Michigan, March 9, 2016 (LifeSiteNews) – Everyone who follows national events knows that the Democratic Party has, for 45 years or more, been the party of abortion “rights.” Yet while GOP candidates are frequently questioned on their abortion views, the media rarely challenges Democrats on their extreme abortion views.

But at a townhall event Monday, with voters pressuring the moderators using the hashtag #AskAboutAbortion, Fox News’ Bret Baier asked the two Democrat presidential candidates what had thus far been avoided.

Baier, noting that Clinton didn’t answer his question about when the baby is worth protecting, pressed a little further.  “Just to be clear, there’s no — without any exceptions?” “No,” Clinton stated.

Baier asked Hillary Clinton, “Do you think a child should have any legal rights or protections before (s/he’s) born? … Do you think there should not be any restrictions on any abortions at any stage in a pregnancy?”

Islam and Iran’s Aishas: Girl Marriages Under 10

March 15, 2016 – Dr. Majid Rafizadeh

It was not solely 1400 years ago that a little girl named Aisha married a 55-year-old man, although Muslims, their scholars, Sheiks and Imams argue to the contrary.

Tens of thousands of “Aishas” are being forced to marry elder man on a daily basis under the name of Islam in Muslim nations in the 21st century. No one is even raising an eyebrow.

For example, according to the latest reports from Persian news outlets, the number of the child marriages has been dramatically increasing in the Islamic Republic.

According to the Students’ News Agency and Radio Farda, these marriages include girls under 10 years old.

Pakistan Muslims say law protecting women from abuse is un-Islamic

March 15, 2016  Robert Spencer

Spousal abuse is universal across all cultures, but only in Islam is it given divine sanction, both in the Qur’an and in Muhammad’s example:

“Men have authority over women because Allah has made the one superior to the other, and because they spend their wealth to maintain them. Good women are obedient. They guard their unseen parts because Allah has guarded them. As for those from whom you fear disobedience, admonish them and send them to beds apart and beat them.” — Qur’an 4:34

Muhammad “struck me on the chest which caused me pain, and then said: Did you think that Allah and His Apostle would deal unjustly with you?” — Aisha (Sahih Muslim 2127)

“Pakistan religious groups say law protecting women from abuse ‘un-Islamic,’” by Mubasher Bukhari, Reuters, March 15, 2016:

An all-parties conference convened by Pakistan’s oldest Islamic political party and attended by powerful religious groups asked the government on Tuesday to retract an “un-Islamic” law that gives unprecedented protection to female victims of violence.

House Overwhelmingly Passes Resolution Condemning ISIS Atrocities as Genocide

March 15, 2016 – Associated Press

Ratcheting up the pressure on the Obama administration, the House has overwhelmingly approved a resolution that condemns as genocide the atrocities committed by the Islamic State group against Christians and other religious and ethnic minorities in Iraq and Syria.

The non-binding measure, passed Monday by a vote of 393-0, illustrated the heavy bipartisan support for action on Capitol Hill. Secretary of State John Kerry is leaning toward making a genocide determination against the Islamic State and could do so as early as this week, when a congressional deadline for a decision has been set.

But the Obama administration officials have cautioned that a legal review is still under way and said it is likely Kerry will not meet Thursday’s deadline. House Speaker Paul Ryan chided the White House for the anticipated delay.

“As the administration waffles on this issue and doubles-down on its failed strategy to defeat (the Islamic State), the American people are speaking loudly and clearly on this issue,” the Wisconsin Republican said.
