Former Witchcraft Doctor Became the ‘Apostle Paul of Vietnam’

As a teenager he left the hopelessness of Buddhism for the power of black magic, then American missionaries demonstrated the amazing power of the God they served, which made his 3,300 gods seem impotent. After receiving Christ, he entered into a new battle with communist authorities for the soul of the Vietnamese people—a battle still raging today.
“I grew up in a very strong Buddhist family,” says Pastor Tran Dinh “Paul” Ai, founder of Vision Outreach International Ministries. “I was sent to a Buddhist temple and trained to be a Buddhist monk,” he says. “My father was a very successful Chinese medical doctor, but he was bothered by politicians who tried to extort money from him.”
“He vowed if he had a son he would send him to the temple so he could be trained as a monk,” Ai says. “My name in Vietnamese means ‘Stop loving the world.’”
At age 15, after only a year of study, he became disenchanted with the “hopelessness of Buddhist doctrines.”
Seeking a more powerful religious experience, he journeyed to the dark side. “I went to study black magic and became a witchcraft doctor, serving 3,366 gods,” Ai says. “They gave me power, but they made me bow my life to their strongholds,” he says. “They also made me hate the gospel.”

3) Pr Daniel had the opportunity to address several meetings in Katherine and Darwin, NT over the past weekend. Also travelling with him was his Media Officer and Cameraman.
The 4 day ministry tour started with a one hour radio interview, which was very interesting, as the radio host became so excited and challenged when he heard how God saved Pr Daniel from possible execution in Saudi Arabia more than 15 years ago.
That night he also spoke at a Women’s Aglow meeting where the people were absolutely challenged to Rise Up as they heard him speak of Australia, our Judeo-Christian heritage and the need to keep Australia Australian.
The next morning he addressed a Breakfast meeting and spoke on how RUAP has already started to make a difference in the political arena. Many people joined the party and pledged support.
The highlight of the tour was on Saturday night when many Aboriginal people turned up for the meeting. This meeting, interestingly enough was held at the Charles Darwin University Hall. At this meeting something amazing happened. The praise and worship was great. Then Pr Daniel started speaking, sharing the Word of God and some very powerful testimonies.
Suddenly, the Holy Spirit fell in the place and people started repenting and crying. Then all the Aboriginal people, and all people who have come from other countries to call Australia home, came out to the front. They stood up and acknowledged them and then asked them forgiveness for the wrong done to their fore-fathers. Then they thanked these dear people for opening their country for all us to come and live in it, and call Australia home.
As this finished many people were weeping under the anointing of the Holy Spirit. Then the Aboriginal people told the others, “we accept your apology and welcome you into our country. Thank you for bringing the Word of God to us.” As this happened many started weeping. There were many tears of joy as white and black people hugged and said how much they love each other.
Then all joined hands and sang “Bind us together Lord with cords that cannot be broken”. There was tremendous healing and reconciliation, followed by many people asking Pr Daniel to pray for them.
On Sunday morning and evening we ministered at a church. On Sunday night the service that started at 6.30pm, finished around 11pm. The power and anointing of the Holy Spirit just swept through the place. Many Aboriginal people came for this service.
Towards the end of the service, many people who had never had a hug from their biological father asked Pr Daniel for a hug as they saw the Heavenly Father’s heart in him. The rest was history.

Iranian-born Muslims who converted to Christianity are breathing new spiritual life into communities across Germany, where they are fleeing to in increasing numbers to escape persecution back home.
Men and women, who have been sentenced to the lash or worse for apostasy – converting from Islam – are forming a thriving community of Christian ex-pats in German cities and towns. The Iranian immigrants seek asylum, or simply pay up to $30,000 to enter the country illegally with a fake passport, a new name and plans to start their lives over in new churches.
“The growing number of Iranian Christians fleeing their homeland to come to Germany should alarm us that Iran’s regime is getting more and more radicalized and repressive – on a daily basis,” Saba Farzan, a German-Iranian expert on human rights, told FoxNews.com.
A telling example of Iran’s heavy-handed crackdown on Christians is the case of a 40-something Iranian woman named Afsaneh. A spiritual display brought down the full force of Tehran’s hard-line regime.

The Evangelical Alliance has launched a new outreach programme specifically targeted at the UK’s growing Asian population.
‘Discovering Jesus through Asian eyes’ is aimed at presenting the Gospel in a way that addresses many of the issues and questions that Asian people may have about Christianity. It was trialled in churches last year before being officially launched this week in London.
Sanjay Rajo of Naujavan, a Christian organisation dedicated to serving 16-30 year-old Asians, said that until now there has been a real gap in the market for outreach designed for young British Asians.
“In the last forty years Asians came to the UK from overseas but now we are seeing more young people, who are born here, confused about their identity and hunger for something spiritual,” he explained.
“This course will attract a younger generation … such as university students and young professionals in their 20s and 30s, who are interested in going on a course a bit like Alpha or Christianity Explored, but with an Asian edge. It ticks that box and allows us to engage in a unique Asian British way, there is nothing else out there like it.
India’s Christians fear rise in persecution under BJP

After the BJP’s historic election victory this week, Christians in India have mixed feelings about the future and how the country’s new leaders will impact on freedom of religion.
The last week has been a massive turnaround for the once struggling opposition party that suffered defeats in the last two elections.
Taking them to victory was the charismatic Narendra Modi, who International Christian Concern reports has feigned ignorance about past Hindu nationalist attacks on minorities.
There are serious concerns among Christians, with one pastor, Ronald John, telling ICC the “persecution of Christians will increase under the BJP-led government”.
“Christians already are gripped with fear and concern over the election results. Hindu nationalist groups will take advantage of the situation and use it to attack churches and members of the Christian community,” he said.

For those of you in the Melbourne area, Pastor Prabhu Isaac (a friend of Ps Daniel’s from the Underground Church in Saudi Arabia) will be ministeringGod’s Word this Sunday evening 6:30pm 22nd June at CTFM at 30 Star Crescent
in Hallam.
In 2001, the ministry of Interior Authority of Kingdom of Saudi Arabia arrested him and imprisoned for his involvement in Christian activities. He was put in a solitary confinement for a month and was deported after undergoing almost 7 months of physical and mental torture. He was terminated from his job and was not permitted to see or contact anyone including his wife. He was put through intensive interrogation and was pushed into prisons that were more like animal sheds, under the most disgusting and unhygienic conditions. There were implications of a death sentence by execution, or imprisonment for 10 years under some false charges; but the power and grace of God miraculously delivered him and he was released on 8th February 2002. He was deported to Chennai, India and there, he began full time ministry and began to serve the Lord.
Ps Daniel travelled to the US and lobbied with the US Congress for his and other’s release. Thank God for the US Congress and many others who helped secure the releases.

Christian Cop Loses Appeal – Must Attend Mosque

A panel of federal judges in Denver, in an opinion written by Judge Harris Hartz, found that it is perfectly appropriate for a police chief to order subordinates to attend an Islamic mosque where Muslims “discussed Islamic beliefs, Muhammad, Mecca, and why and how Muslims pray” in addition to encouraging officers “to buy” Islamic books and pamphlets that were for sale.
The ruling came on Thursday from the 10th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals in a case brought by Capt. Paul Fields, who had been ordered by Tulsa police officials to either go to a special event at the local mosque himself, or order others to do that.
Fields refused based on religious freedom objections and was punished for that.
The judges on the 10th Circuit panel said that was perfectly appropriate.
“This ruling is troubling on so many levels,” said Robert Muise, of the American Freedom Law Center, which has pursued the case since it developed several years ago.

I am sure that you will agree with us, that some of the changes we have seen in regard to Multiculturalism and Free Speech (the office of Minister for Multiculturalism abolished / The Immigration Department renamed to Department of Immigration & Border Protection / The Current push to remove Section 18 C for Freedom of Speech) are the result of talks RUAP had with the current government before the last election. No other Party took a stand on these issues in the last election.
Rise Up Australia Party has a good following in Australia, and in Victoria RUAP ranked number 8 out of 39 parties in the last Federal Election. This November it is time to see similar changes made in Victoria as we vote once more for a State Government. It is only with pressure brought on them that any Victorian Government will make the changes that are required.
Rise Up Australia Party will once more be a voice for Judeo / Christian values and we will be advocating for all Victorians. The general public must be told that we at RUAP will stand up against the ‘Up to 9 months’abortion laws, as well as supporting traditional Marriage between one man & one woman.
In order to do this we are asking you to financially partner with us for the rest of this year by pledging whatever you can in order to get these changes put through. No amount is too low, as even an amount of $10 to $100 a month from everyone on our mailing list would allow us to make our presence felt, and also get our message out to all Victorians.
