“Watch out Australia, watch out the federal Parliament; we are coming!” So declared Reverend Daniel Nalliah this morning as he launched Australia’s newest political party at Canberra’s National Press Club.
“We are determined to be politically incorrect,” Nalliah told the launch of Rise Up Australia, of which he is president. “If an Aussie loves his country, and can’t say anything … then I think ‘tolerance’ has gone too far.”

As Founding Chairman & President of Rise Up Australia Party, on behalf of the National Executive, I wish to thank all those who attended the Party Launch at the National Press Club in Canberra on Monday 11th of Feb 2013.
Also a big thank you to those who could not make it, but have been faithful supporters of the Party.
Words possibly cannot describe the excitement and joy people demonstrated at the Launch, with many stating, “It is about time someone took a stand”. This same sentiment is now echoing right across Australia, with the amazing feedback our Party head office has been receiving in the past 24 hours.
I was so happy as I saw many fellow patriotic Aussies, including many from different ethnic backgrounds, waving their flags and celebrating as our National Anthem was sung, in addition to when they heard that Rise Up Australia Party was committed to ‘Keep Australia Australian.’
This to me and many others was a very historic day. I want to thank the thousands of people who have entered our RUA Party website and the many who have sent comments. It is so exciting to also see our Twitter & Face book pages rapidly increasing over the past 24 hours.

Lawrence Khong, senior pastor at Faith Community Baptist Church (FCBC), a notable megachurch in Singapore, has warned the nation’s former prime minister that repealing the country’s homosexual sex laws might be a “looming threat” for families.
“Examples from around the world have shown that the repeal of similar laws have led to negative social changes, especially the breakdown of the family as a basic building block and foundation of the society,” Khong expressed in a statement addressing former Prime Minister Goh Chok Tong, but did not name which countries in particular he had in mind
Singapore has strict laws against homosexuality that have stood in place since colonial times. They are currently being challenged by gay rights activists who insist that they should be repealed.
Khong, 51, leads one of Singapore’s biggest megachurches with 9,000 congregants, which he founded in 1986. Besides being a popular preacher, Knong is also an entertainer, movie producer and magician — he has led stage shows called the “Magic of Love” and “Magic Box” intended to share Christ with others.

The Word of God says in the Gospel of Mark 16:17-18, “And these signs will follow those who believe: In My name they will cast out demons; they will speak with new tongues; they will take up serpents; and if they drink anything deadly, it will by no means hurt them; they will lay hands on the sick, and they will recover.”
However, how often do we see this happening today in our Sunday church services??
Last weekend Pr Daniel ministered in Geelong at a Baptist church, where many people from several churches came to the Holy Spirit revival meetings and were mightily touched by the Word of God and his personal life testimony. At one service almost the whole congregation responded to the altar call with their hands lifted up and their mouths filled with praise as they surrendered to Jesus!
One young man who was quite drunk wondered into the meeting from off the main street. Halfway through the service he got up and challenged Pr Daniel, but praise God that at the end of the service he went up to the altar and hugged him, then gave his life to Jesus. This man was looking for love and all glory to God that he found it in church!
Then a young woman who was terribly depressed was brought to church by her friend. She came up to the altar for prayer and as Pr Daniel laid hands on her, she started manifesting with demons. As the name and blood of Jesus was mentioned, the demons started leaving her. She started screaming, rolling on the ground and then started vomiting as this young lady had tremendous deliverance!
Evoking the moral apathy and failure of the past, U.S. Representative Frank R. Wolf (R-VA) recently asked church leaders around the United States to use their influence for those who are persecuted. In his January 9, 2013 letter to over 300 Catholic and Protestant leaders, Wolf reminded them of the words of German Lutheran pastor Dietrich Bonhoeffer, executed by the Nazis during World War II. Bonhoeffer, when “faced with the tyranny and horror of Nazism, famously said, ‘Silence in the face of evil is itself evil. Not to speak is to speak. Not to act is to act,’” recalled Wolf.
“And that is precisely what many in the church did, or failed to do, as Hitler unleashed his murderous plans,” Wolf continued. Writing with passion and urgency to such representative Christian leaders as the U.S. Catholic bishops, the leaders of Protestant denominations, and the pastors of some of America’s largest “mega-churches,” the congressman then told the story of a German Christian shared in the book When a Nation Forgets God:
I lived in Germany during the Nazi Holocaust. I considered myself a Christian. We heard stories of what was happening to the Jews, but we tried to distance ourselves from it, because, what could anyone do to stop it?
A railroad track ran behind our small church and each Sunday morning we could hear the whistle in the distance and then the wheels coming over the tracks. We became disturbed when we heard the cries coming from the train as it passed by. We realized that it was carrying Jews like cattle in the cars!

Pr Daniel was the MC of the meeting, joined by many Ministers of the Gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ, from Anglican, Baptist, Presbyterian, Uniting, Salvation Army, Christian Revival Crusade, other Pentecostal and Charismatic churches, who led segments in prayer.
The worship was led by the Indonesian church youth band, as hundreds of passionate patriotic Australian Christians, from many different countries who call Australia home, waved their Australian flags, joining in one accord to lift up the name of Jesus over Australia!
As the Church united in the Spirit of worship, the Christian ministers on stage prayed for our Government, Protection over Australia, Unity & Revival in the Body of Christ, Schools, Youth (who came
to the altar for special prayer), Families, Businesses, Armed Forces, Emergency Services, Farmers, Bush Fires, Floods, etc.
Pr Wally from the US, originally from the Philippines, who was very badly tortured and sentenced to death in Saudi Arabia for preaching Jesus, shared his powerful testimony of how God miraculously saved him at the final of scheduled execution.
Many were in tears on hearing his extraordinary testimony and mightily challenged to Rise Up Australia for Jesus. He also encouraged the body of Christ to pray for the persecuted Church and to love the Muslim people, who are victims of the deception of the spirit of Islam.

It was very positive for the Kingdom of God, as almost everything we hoped to achieve through this broadcast was.
We wanted our nation to know the dangers of Islam (rejecting the teaching of Quran, but loving the Muslims), that the Church of Jesus Christ is not asleep but awake, that followers of Christ are bold to stand up and declare the truth of God’s Word, that we love our nation Australia and to promote Rise Up Australia Party.

Pastor Louie Giglio’s withdrawal from President Barack Obama’s inauguration ceremony has left Christians lamenting over what they see as a new era of religious intolerance.
More specifically, anyone who holds the view that homosexuality is a sin is being forced out of the public square.
Russell Moore, a Southern Baptist theologian, put it this way: “When it is now impossible for one who holds to the catholic Christian view of marriage and the gospel to pray at a public event, we now have a de facto established state church.
“Just as the pre-constitutional Anglican and congregational churches required a license to preach in order to exclude Baptists, the new state church requires a ‘license’ of embracing sexual liberation in all its forms.”
Giglio, founder of the Passion conferences and Passion City Church in Roswell, Ga., had been invited to deliver the benediction during Obama’s inauguration ceremony on Jan. 21. He accepted the invitation and told The Christian Post earlier this week that he was honored to lead the nation in prayer.
But the pastor began to face criticism when the liberal blog Think Progress pointed to an “anti-gay” sermon Giglio delivered almost 20 years ago. In that sermon, Giglio affirms homosexuality as a sin, says Christians must respond to the “aggressive” homosexual agenda, and stresses that all are sinners and in need of the healing power of Jesus.

Their are 3 brands of “duct tape” that keep Christians quiet about Jesus. These types of tape seek to seal our mouths shut about the good news of Jesus. Some brands are big and bold. Others are small and sticky. But they all result in the same thing…silence.
As the President of Dare2Share Ministries I’ve been traveling the nation equipping teenagers to share the gospel for over twenty years. I’ve also had the privilege of equipping hundreds of thousands of adults to share their faith along the way. And, as I’ve energized others to share the good news, I’ve heard many reasons why Christians don’t share the gospel. The vast majority could be categorized into one of three very different brands of invisible duct tape:
The “Um, I’m not sure” Duct Tape
If you put a microphone in the face of the average Christian leaving church and asked, “What is the gospel?” you’d probably get a variety of answers that range from “um” to dumb. The bottom line is that, for the most part, church leaders are not doing enough gospel training. We may be committing “the sin of assumption” by assuming that the teens in our youth groups and adults in our churches already know the gospel because, well, they are Christians.
But just because you own a guitar doesn’t mean you can play it. First, you must learn the chords. Then you must practice. In the same way, just because we have put our faith in Jesus, doesn’t mean we automatically know how to share the gospel. We must master the chords and learn to play the beautiful music of the gospel ourselves.

“AFRICA SHALL BE SAVED.” I heard God’s message so clearly. In response my family moved from Lesotho to South Africa in 1974. But how was Africa going to be saved? Clueless, I sat with my head in my hands. As unknowns, we moved out into the unknown, with no prospects mapped out for us, hoping for further instruction from the Lord.
And sure enough, God spoke again. I was to rent the National Stadium in Gaborone, Botswana, for a gospel crusade. The only group willing to work with us was a church of 40 members.
I walked through the little city, not knowing how to put the loose ends together, and made a provisional booking for the stadium by faith. It was the right move.
To my disappointment the campaign began with only 100 people in attendance but then God entered the field. Before I had prayed for the sick or said anything at all about healing, my sermon was interrupted by dramatic healings. It was as if Jesus just could not wait to do His wonders! He was “itching” to start.
As a missionary I knew what it was like to preach to no more than five people at a time, but now I had 10,000 of them, with many receiving salvation and many being healed. As the news spread, the stadium filled up and the miracles of salvation and healing multiplied.
Then came another impulse from heaven: “Pray for converts to be baptized in the Holy Spirit!”

But Christians have faced increasing pressures in recent decades, and the overthrow of a dictator and a historic election that promoted the Muslim Brotherhood’s Mohamed Morsi have complicated matters even more.
The book documents how attacks and bombings of churches have increased since the election; forced emigration is shrinking the Christian population; Coptic Christians (the largest group of Egyptian Christians) face systematic obstacles to promotion in the army, police and legal professions; Coptic women have been abducted and forced to convert to Islam; and Muslims who convert to Christianity may be shunned, harassed, physically harmed and even killed.
