Huge March in New York City in Support of Israel

Sara Abramowicz : Jun 2, 2015 : United With IsraelIsra

“Anyone who thinks that the United States is abandoning its support of Israel—obviously they weren’t in Central Park today, because they would have found out that there is strong, passionate sentiment to stand with Israel.” –Mike Huckabee

(New York, NY)—New York City hosted the 51st annual Celebrate Israel Parade Sunday. Over 40,000 people marched along Fifth Avenue with hundreds of thousands appearing on the sidelines to express support for the Jewish state.

Attendees included New York City Mayor Bill de Blasio, who danced together with a contingent from Chabad Lubavitch, and New York Governor Andrew Cuomo. Eight members of the Israeli Parliament from diverse political parties were also present. De Blasio and Minister without Portfolio Ofir Akunis led the parade.

“Israel and the US share values,” Akunis stated. “The past and the future of the two countries are intertwined. Israel owes a great debt to the US and its citizens who stood and stand with us even when we disagree.”

Marriage tide is turning in Australia

FamilyVoice Australia – Media Release – 14 July 2015

“A number of indicators suggest that more Australians are turning against Rodney Croome’s deceptive ‘marriage equality’ campaign,” FamilyVoice national research officer Ros Phillips said today.

“In Mr Croome’s home state of Tasmania, where the campaign has been waged relentlessly over several years, a new ReachTEL poll commissioned by The Examiner found that a minority of northern Tasmanians support same-sex marriage, and only a small percentage think it is important.  Liberal voters are at least 2:1 against same-sex marriage.”

Ros Phillips said another indicator of the nation’s change of heart is the big difference between the Crosby Textor poll of last August – where 72% of Australians said they backed “marriage equality” – and the Newspoll of June this year, where the figure had dropped to 58%.  “The trend is clearly down,” she said.

“Then there is the large volume of mail in support of natural marriage flooding the inboxes of federal MPs.  The Strewth column in today’s Australian noted that the Mamma Mia website published a ‘rogue’s gallery of the 10 people blocking marriage equality in Australia (all Coalition parliamentarians, apparently), complete with email addresses, last Monday.  By the end of the week the sole woman on the list, parliamentary secretary Concetta Fierravanti-Wells, was surprised by the volume of supportive emails coming her way…’

Great meetings in Sunshine Coast, QLD

Dear family and friends in Christ,

1) Ps Daniel ministered in the Sunshine Coast, QLD last weekend and also spoke at several RUA Party meetings.

Many people attended the meetings, which was so encouraging, including many who do not regularly attend church.

We thank and praise God that many of them were greatly touched by the presence of God and the Word God.

People flocked to the altar for prayer.  As hungry hearts cried out to God for a fresh touch, they received what they asked for. Some people stated, “We don’t want go home. His presence is so real.”

One woman brought her dog which could not walk. She said, “I believed God for my dog to be healed, so I brought my dog into church and trusted God for the miracle. See my dog is walking now.”

The Pastor of the church and his wife were a real blessing. As they opened their hearts to God to do whatever He wanted to do, He poured out His Holy Spirit fire.

At the RUA Party meeting on Saturday night around 40-50 people took up membership with the party, as they were so blessed to see RUAP stand up for the truth.  They stated, “We are praying for you Pr Daniel that God will take you into Parliament.”

US State Department Says No to Iraqi Christians

By Faith J. H. McDonnell – 2015-05-17

Writing in April in USA Today about the murder of 12 Christian migrants thrown into the sea by Muslims for praying to Jesus instead of Allah, columnist Kirsten Powers stated that President Barack Obama “just can’t seem to find any passion for the mass persecution of Middle Eastern Christians or the eradication of Christianity from its birthplace.”

The president’s response appears to be United States policy. Evidence suggests that within the administration not only is there no passion for persecuted Christians under threat of genocide from the Islamic State, there is no room for them, period. In fact, despite ISIS’ targeting of Iraqi Christians specifically because they are Christians, and, as such, stand in the way of a pure, Islamic Caliphate in the Middle East (and beyond), the U.S. State Department has made it clear that “there is no way that Christians will be supported because of their religious affiliation.”

An Anglican bishop revealed that this policy position presented to him in his most recent interaction with State’s Bureau of Population, Refugees and Migration (PRM). The Rt. Rev. Julian M. Dobbs, bishop of the Diocese of CANA East (Convocation of Anglicans in North America) is an advocate for persecuted people worldwide. On this occasion, Dobbs was appealing on behalf of a group of Assyrian Christians desperately in need of rescue from northern Iraq.

Obama, the Jews, the Muslims, and Us

by Michael Ledeen – May 24, 2015

I don’t believe that any other American president has spent so much time talking to and about Jews as Obama.  It all began in the very first months of his presidency—in August, 2009–when he called 1000 rabbis, lobbying for support for Obamacare.  It was a full month before the High Holy Days, when Jews pray for a year of life and good health, and the president remarked that “we are God’s partners in matters of life and death.”

That was a considerable misstatement, for in these matters, Jews are supplicants, not partners.  Two months earlier, Obama had similarly distorted the nature of Zionism. In his speech to the Muslim world in Cairo, he maintained that Israel’s right to exist derived from the oppression of Jews for many centuries. But Zionist leaders always insisted that modern Israel’s legitimacy rests on millennia of history: it is the restoration of a Jewish state that was promised by the Almighty to Abraham, entrusted to Moses, conquered by Joshua, and ruled by David, Solomon, and their successors.

So the president isn’t very well informed about Judaism or Zionism, yet he is forever lecturing Jews and Israelis about what is really best for them, as if he had some special insight.  It is no accident that Obama is the only American president to write an introduction to the official military Jewish prayer book, prepared by US chaplains.  All previous presidents had left such matters up to the rabbinate.

American Jews: The Last Leftist Jews in the World

The Jewish Press ^ | May 20th, 2015 | Daniel

Clip on a nametag, pick up a paper cup of lukewarm water and you can sit down in the audience at a thousand liberal Jewish establishment panels where the likes of Peter Beinart or Jeffrey Goldberg will sanctimoniously lecture their bored audience on the growing gap between American Jews and Israel.

Yawn through the usual references to “settlements”, “democratic character” and “one state solution.” Wake up just in time for the sales pitch for J Street and tough love BDS for the Jewish State.

And then go out and get some fresh air.

The gap isn’t between Israeli and American Jews; it’s between American Jews and the rest of the world.

Arab Leaders Revolt Against Iran Nuke Deal

May 13, 2015 by Arnold Ahlert

There appears to be a small problem with President Barack Obama’s summit of Persian Gulf states taking place at Camp David on Thursday: Arab leaders want virtually nothing to do with it. Only the emirs of Qatar and Kuwait, two out of the six leaders of countries that comprise the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC), will attend. The point man of the apparent snub is Saudi Arabian monarch King Salman, who took power in January after his brother, King Abdullah, died. Salman decided not to attend at the eleventh hour, despite Obama promising him a separate meeting, described by sources in Riyadh as a “photo op” aimed at convincing an American audience that Saudi Arabia and other Arab states are on board with Obama’s determination to secure a deal with Iran. They aren’t.

Both sides tried to downplay the apparent rift. White House Secretary Josh Earnest insisted feedback from the Saudis has been “positive,” and that if this is an attempt to send a message “that message is not received.” Saudi Foreign Minister Adel al-Jubeir agreed. “This is not related in any way, shape or form to any disagreement between the two countries,” he said. “I think this idea that this is a snub because the king did not attend is really off base. This is an extremely high-level delegation. It has absolutely the right people to represent the kingdom,” he added, referring to interior minister Crown Prince Mohammed bin Nayef, and the king’s son and defense minister Deputy Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman who will attend in the king’s place. Jubeir insisted the king was staying behind to deal with the cease fire in Yemen, and the humanitarian aid effort taking place there.
