“A senior diplomatic official from the region tells The Washington Times that Croatian intelligence has identified a possible Islamic State leader who is setting up in Kosovo and Bosnia-Herzegovina and beginning to organize scores of Islamist fighters who left the Balkans to join the Islamic State or al Qaeda’s Nusra Front in war-torn Syria and Iraq and have since returned home.”
They shouldn’t be allowed to return home. Their going and joining such groups should be considered an act of treason, as those groups are at war with the Balkans and everywhere else.
“Islamic State plotting to infiltrate, destabilize Balkans, intelligence suggests,” by John Solomon, Washington Times, November 5, 2015:
As Croatian voters go to the polls Sunday to potentially unseat remnants of the country’s communist past, there is growing intelligence that the Islamic State may be setting its eye on infiltrating and destabilizing the Balkans.

“Australia is on high alert for attacks by radicalised Muslims or by home-grown militants returning from fighting in the Middle East, having raised its threat level to ‘high’ and unleashed a series of high-profile raids in major cities.”
“Home-grown militants returning from fighting in the Middle East” should not be allowed to reenter Australia. By going to the Middle East to wage jihad, they have declared that they are at war with Australia, and should be treated as enemy combatants.
Australia’s anti-money laundering agency says reports of suspected “terrorism-financing” tripled in the past year, with over A$50 million ($35.92 million) which could be used to support Islamist militants being investigated.

Northern Iraq)—More and more Kurdish Muslims living in Iraq are turning to Christ after witnessing the brutality of extremist groups like ISIS, who carry out horrific acts in the name of Allah, Christian aid workers have revealed.
A ministry leader in the Kurdish Region of Iraq told the Christian Aid Mission that his organization can barely keep up with the desire of refugees to learn about Christ and the Bible, which has grown increasingly strong since ISIS overtook many parts of the region.
“They’re just sick of Islam,” he said. “People are very hungry to know about Christ, especially when they hear about miracles, healing, mercy and love.”
He added, “As terrifying and horrifying as ISIS is, they did us a great favor because they came and have shown them all the killing, saying that it’s all in the Koran verses. So now we don’t have to say much, we just say the truth.”

Washington, DC)—The David Horowitz Freedom Center watchdog group recently published a list of what it called the “Ten Top American Universities Most Friendly to Terrorists.” (Photo: MSA/via Princeton.edu)
The list, which can be read below, asserts that “there are organizations on American campuses that support the agendas of these terrorists (al-Qaeda, Islamic State, and Hamas) and spread their propaganda lies, and do so with the financial and institutional support of university administrations.”
“Two of these organizations, the Muslim Students Association (MSA) and Students for Justice in Palestine (SJP), were created by members of the Muslim Brotherhood, godfather group to al-Qaeda and Hamas,” the Freedom Center stated. “They are the chief sponsors of annual campus events called ‘Israeli Apartheid Weeks,’ whose sole purpose is to spread the propaganda lies of the terrorist organization Hamas, and to demonize the Jewish state…
They are the chief sponsors of the Boycott, Divestment and Sanctions (BDS) campaign, inspired by Hamas, whose goal is the economic strangulation of the Jewish state…

Sadly, the Palestinian Authority (PA) leaders are continuing to bury their heads in the sand and lying to everyone — from their people to the international community.

Oprah’s sudden river of religious talk is not based on some newfound appreciation for Christianity. It’s marketing spin for her new series, Belief, which the media pioneer describes as a “groundbreaking” television event exploring humanity’s ongoing search to connect with something greater than ourselves.
For the past several weeks, Oprah Winfrey has been sharing her heart about how of the Bible has impacted her life and how God gives her great joy. The only problem is, we aren’t really sure which god she is glorifying but she’s leaving Jesus out of the equation (or at least putting other gods on the same pedestal next to Him).
Let’s be clear. Oprah’s sudden river of religious talk is not based on some newfound appreciation for Christianity. It’s marketing spin for her new series, Belief, which the media pioneer describes as a “groundbreaking” television event exploring humanity’s ongoing search to connect with something greater than ourselves.
Again, no mention of Jesus. There’s definitely double-mindedness going on. Oprah has insisted she is a Christian. But a well-circulated YouTube video shows her arguing vehemently that Jesus is not the only way to the Father. And she flat out allowed no-hell Rob Bell to trash the Bible on her broadcast.

In the event of a national catastrophe, much confusion, terror and consternation would reign. What would the Christian do? What should our attitude be? Which way would we turn if the country in which we live were suddenly wrecked and all the props gone?
As a whole, our nation does not know what privation is. We do not know what sacrifice is. We do not know what suffering is. Suppose persecution were to come to the church in America, as it has come in other countries.
The immunity to persecution that Christians in our country have experienced in the past two or three centuries is unusual. Christ strongly warned Christians that to follow Him would not be popular, and that in most circumstances it would mean cross-bearing and persecution.
The Bible says that all who “desire to live godly in Christ Jesus will suffer persecution” (2 Timothy 3:12). Jesus said that as the time of His return draws nigh, “They will seize you and persecute you” (Luke 21:12). We have no scriptural foundation for believing that we can forever escape being persecuted for Christ’s sake. The normal condition for Christians is that we should suffer persecution. Are you willing to face persecution and death for Christ’s sake?

Here we go again: another liberal narrative burned to a crisp.
Over a two-week period in October, an arsonist targeted seven churches in the St. Louis area — including several in Black Lives Matter protest hotspot Ferguson, Missouri.
The Atlantic magazine, invoking the “long history of terrorism against black churches in America,” lamented that the crime spree had been “slow to get the same attention” in the local and national media as another string of church arsons that occurred earlier this summer.
Reminder: Several of those hyped hate crimes against “black churches” had been committed by black suspects; a significant number of the “black churches” were, in fact, white churches; and the complex motives behind the crimes included mental illness, vandalism and concealment of theft.
Reminder: The same hyperventilators who stoked fears about this summer’s church incidents had also stoked hysteria about the 1990s black church arson “epidemic” that fell apart under scrutiny and ended with USA Today admitting that “analysis of the 64 fires since 1995 shows only four can be conclusively shown to be racially motivated.”

There is a great tendency in human nature to crave the affirmation of other human beings. With some people, their need for affirmation is so great it hinders their ability to discern between the will of God and the will of man. What is more alarming is the fact that those who lead churches and Christian organizations are not exempt from this tendency.
The fact of the matter is, if you are a local church pastor, chief executive officer of a ministry or business, you are called to lead not entertain. Many do not understand the difference. If your primary goal is to make people happy, become an entertainer, not a leader. Leaders by nature should be on the cutting edge of God’s will, which challenges people to leave their comfort zones.
Often times this causes people to be upset with their leaders. The leader also should keep people accountable to standards of excellence. This becomes especially difficult when a leader is close friends or family with those aligned under their spiritual authority. Many do not understand how to discern between business and friendship, and it causes a rift in the relationship.
The following are ten contrasts between entertainers and leaders:
An entertainer’s primary focus in their ministry is to keep their people happy and satisfied. Sometimes folks are happy because they are comfortable and feel secure but their own hearts are deceiving them. A true leader’s primary goal is to disturb the comfortable and provoke them to excellence. For example, if an athlete never pushed himself to the point of pain in his training, he will never excel. True leaders push their people to the perimeter of their potential in Christ.
