We thank and praise God for a wonderful time of celebration and fellowship at the 25th wedding anniversary thanksgiving service of Pr Daniel & his wife Maryse, which was held in Melbourne on 30th March 2012.
It was so nice to see family, friends, church members & many pastors, from so many different ethnic backgrounds, come together as one to celebrate this special occasion of their loving commitment toward the Lord and one another. Some traveled from overseas and interstate to be a part of the function.
The service started with prayer by Pr Gary, then a few beautiful songs of worship led by Nigel & Shannen (Pr Daniel & Maryse’s, Son & Daughter). They also sang a
few very special songs to Dad & Mum and then spoke of the joy, love & happiness that the Nalliah family has experienced through Jesus their Lord and Saviour, through all the challenges they have faced in their journey of serving the Lord together. Many at the party were in tears.
Their youngest daughter Brianna, who turns 5 in June, was very busy finishing all the chocolates which were on the table.
Then Pr Cami led the service and renewing of vows. He also spoke of the many years he had known the Nalliah family and that how honoured he was to be at their 25th wedding anniversary.
By Stoyan Zaimov , Christian Post Reporter – March 15, 2012A conference held last week in Bethlehem between March 5-9 brought together more than 600 international and local Christians to discuss the future of Palestinian Christians and the ongoing Middle East conflict.
“Christ at the Checkpoint” addressed how to keep hope and faith in Christ amid the Israeli-Palestinian crisis, and discussed biblical ways of viewing the issues that have historically divided the two communities. It was hosted by Bethlehem Bible College, an organization of Palestinian Evangelical Christians.
Although a lot has been written in recent times comparing the current Middle East situation to prophecies highlighted in the Bible, the conference leaders wanted to steer the discussion away from End Times talk and encourage the evangelical community to join Palestinians in following Jesus in the prophetic pursuance of justice, peace and reconciliation.
Some of the other goals of the conference included seeking ways to empower and encourage the Palestinian church; expose the realities of the injustices in the Palestinian territories and create awareness of the obstacles to reconciliation and peace; create a platform for engagement with Christian Zionism and motivate participants to become advocates for the reconciliation work of the church and its ramifications for the Middle East and the world. As I wept my way through the Holocaust doing research for a new book called Hitler, God and the Bible, I thought that I would uncover why Adolf Hitler so hated the Jews. But all I found were a number of theories; no one really knowing for sure as to why his hatred was so venomous. Some surmise that he was insanely jealous of the Jews because many were able to stay financially secure during the 1929 depression. Others think that he was bitter because he contracted syphilis from a Jewish prostitute. In Mein Kampf he called it a “Jewish disease,” and this lead to speculation by some that he may have contracted the disease himself.
Still other authorities believe that his hatred grew out of a sense of rejection, after he submitted his paintings to the Vienna Academy of Fine Art. Hitler claimed that the professors that rejected him, were Jewish. Others believe another theory–that “The core of his hatred lies at the defeat of Germany in WWI.”
Perhaps it was a combination of each one that fostered the fire of hatred, that consumed the lives of six million Jews. However, I believe that there was another factor that clearly fueled the fire, and one that is often overlooked.
Adolf Hitler had a huge reason to kill Jews, because they helped him to finance his war-machine. Every time he seized the assets of wealthy Jewish families, it meant money in his bank. Big money. Cash, adding up to many billions of dollars came directly from their murder. According to those who have access to the details, he financed a massive 30 per cent of the German war effort by killing Jewish families and stealing their wealth. (more…)

NEW DELHI, INDIA (ANS) — The 20th World Book Fair in New Delhi, the capital of India, began on Saturday with the Honorable Union Minister of Human Resource Development, Shri Kapil Sibal, who inaugurated the nine-day book fair, being held Feb 25-March 4, at the Pragati Maidan, New Delhi.
Organized biennially by the National Book Trust (NBT), India, a hundred years of Indian Cinema is the focus at the World Book Fair this year.
The fair is also celebrating two important events: 150 years of Rabindranath Tagore with a display of books on and by Tagore and 100 years of Delhi as the capital of the country.
There are 1300 exhibitors, including 30 foreign exhibitors from foreign countries like South Korea, Germany, France, Spain, Belarus, Iran, Israel, Japan, Malaysia, Saudi Arabia, Pakistan, Nepal, Sri Lanka, UAE, China, Thailand and United Kingdom and international bodies like WHO, UNESCO and World Bank.
The books of Korean evangelical author Dr. Jaerock Lee, Senior Pastor of the Manmin Central Church in Seoul, South Korea including “Heaven”, “Hell” and “The Message of the Cross” and were featured and impressed many visitors. (more…)

We thank and praise God for His continued manifest presence as His people unite together to glorify Him as King of kings and LORD of lords!
This is so exciting, because when people experience the manifest presence of God, they cannot deny that Jesus is real and that He is alive!
This last week has been great, as we have been receiving some very exciting testimonies of the wonderful works of the Lord!
1) Pr Daniel ministered over the weekend in Bendigo as more people were mightily touched by the Lord through the Word of God and the powerful testimonies of the many victories in the name of Jesus. On Sunday morning after the service was over, a middle aged man came up to Pr Daniel and shook his hand. Then when asked whether he was from that church, he said to him, “Pastor, I don’t go to church. I am the owner of the local Pizza outlet. I just came because I heard that you are heading up the Rise Up Australia Party to Keep Australia Australian. I am 100% behind you. How can I help? I really like what your party stands for. I will become a member and distribute your brochures at my outlet.”
This man was so excited that he just kept talking about how he wants to help. Seeing that the man was so touched, Pr Daniel asked him whether he could pray for him and he responded, “Yes, please.” Pr Daniel first prayed for him and then was able to lead him to the Lord. The man accepted Jesus as His Lord and Saviour! What a mighty God we serve! (more…)

Because it is now almost axiomatic for American school textbooks to whitewash all things Islamic (see here for example), it may be useful to examine one of those aspects that are regularly distorted: the Muslim conquests.
Few events of history are so well documented and attested to as are these conquests, which commenced soon after the death of the Muslim prophet Muhammad (632) and tapered off circa 750. Large swathes of the Old World—from the India in the east, to Spain in the west—were conquered and consolidated by the sword of Islam during this time.
By the standards of history, the reality of these conquests is unassailable, for history proper concerns itself with primary sources; and the Islamic conquests are thoroughly documented. More importantly, the overwhelming majority of primary source materials we rely on do not come from non-Muslims, who might be accused of bias. Rather, the foremost historians bequeathing to posterity thousands of pages of source materials documenting the Islamic conquests were not only Muslims themselves; they were—and still are—regarded by today’s Muslims as pious and trustworthy scholars (generically, the ulema).
Among the most authoritative books devoted to recounting the conquests are: Ibn Ishaq’s (d. 767) Sira (“Life of Muhammad”), the oldest biography of Muhammad; Waqidi’s (d. circa. 820) Maghazi (“Military Campaigns [of the Prophet]“); Baladhuri’s (d. 892) Futuh al-Buldan (“Conquests of the Nations”); and Tabari’s (d.923) multi-volume Tarikh al-Rusul wa al-Muluk, (“History of Prophets and Kings”), which is 40 volumes in the English translation. Two copies of an English version of the Holy Bible were found in the building where Osama bin Laden spent his last days and was killed by U.S. forces, Pakistani officials revealed on Tuesday night.
The compound in Abbottabad, Pakistan, where the al-Qaida leader was shot dead by U.S. Navy SEALs last May, is being demolished this week. A number of interesting discoveries have been made among the rubble, however.
Among them are cleverly hidden radios and two copies of the Bible, but different theories exist about why the extremist Islamic leader, who waged a holy war against the U.S., would have Bibles in his possession. Certain passages have apparently been highlighted in different colors, leading some Pakistani intelligence officials to believe that they might be coded messages referencing future terror attacks, The Times of India reported. Pakistan’s ISI security service is conducting further investigations on the texts in question. (more…)

Ask anyone in Zimbabwe who “TB Joshua” is and many can readily list the prophecies and healings with which the Nigerian spiritual leader is associated.
From prophesying the death of Michael Jackson in 2010, to the tsunami in Japan last year and most recently Zambia’s victory in the African Cup of Nations, TB Joshua, born Temitope Balogun Joshua, has risen to world stardom. His renown is bolstered by the humanitarian work done by his Synagogue Church of all Nations (SCOAN).
Yet in Zimbabwe, TB Joshua has been an enfant terrible for President Robert Mugabe’s Zanu-PF party, which has reeled under several unfavourable prophecies.
The most recent was a prophecy given by Joshua of the death of an old African leader in two months, due to a long-time illness.

(Nashville, TN)—America for Jesus 2012, a gathering of Christians representing all races, parties and denominations, will gather in a solemn assembly on Independence Mall in Philadelphia, Sept. 28-29, to pray for the healing of our nation and its people 40 days before America casts its vote for President, it was announced Sunday at the National Religious Broadcasters Association Convention in Nashville, TN.
“America’s soul is sick, but I believe America still has a chance; I believe in resurrection, and I believe prayer changes things—and that is what we intend to do,” said Bishop Anne Gimenez, pastor of Rock Church International in Virginia Beach, Va., and chairman of America for Jesus 2012. “It’s not about who will be in the White House nor our current financial crisis, it’s about America needing the presence of God.”
America for Jesus 2012 is being organized by One Nation Under God, a coalition of ministries that sponsored the watershed Washington for Jesus events in the 80s and 90s, which focused on prayer, repentance and revival, based on God’s promises found in 2 Chronicles 7:14.
To-date, the five national and numerous regional rallies attended by several hundred thousand people have made significant impact affecting millions across the country and the national movement continues to call for a return to Biblical values rather than endorsing any particular party or candidate.
