Former KKK Leader Johnny Lee Clary at CTFM in Melbourne this Sun 29th April / Reminder of cancellation of Anzac Day Rally at Vic Parliament

Dear friends and family in Christ,

1) For those of you in the Melbourne area, we are pleased to announce that Rev Elder Johnny Lee Cleary (Ex-National Leader of the Ku Klux Klan) will be ministering the Word of the Lord in the miracle working power of the Holy Spirit this Sunday 29th April at 9:30am & 6:30pm at CTFM Apostolic Centre at 23 Melverton Dr in Hallam.

Johnny Lee Clary learned to hate at a very young age. He was raised in a family filled with racism, anger, and bigotry. As the Klan’s national leader, the destructive mindset and lifestyle he had lived for so many years began to take its toll. Riddled with torment, Johnny Lee left the Klan. On the verge of committing suicide one night, he started reading the Bible and cried out to God to deliver him from his nightmarish existence.

After dedicating his life to Christ, he has become a renowned international speaker and has set records for the largest crowds for any preacher in Australia other than Billy Graham, with literally thousands receiving his message of hope, healing and forgiveness for racism, low self-esteem, suicidal tendencies, and substance abuse. Johnny holds the record for the largest crowd ever at Hillsong Brisbane (formerly Garden City).

Photo of baby aborted in China at 9 months in forced abortion circulates on Internet, sparks outrage

by Kathleen Gilbert – Tue Apr 03, 2012 1

LINYI CITY, Shandong Province, China, April 3, 2012 (LifeSiteNews.com) – A chilling photograph circulating in China shows the body of a 9-months-gestation baby submerged in a bucket of water, apparently a victim of the country’s one-child policy.

Digital Journal reports that the photograph, in which the head and arm of a child can be seen underwater in a large red bucket on the floor, was posted to the Chinese web services company Baidu before it was circulated on Weibo, the country’s version of Twitter, last week.

The abortion appears to have taken place on March 26 after Chinese family planning police in the town of Moshan hunted down the family because the couple already had one child.

According to English reports regarding the original post, the pregnant mother was forcibly held down as she was given an injection to induce labor, after which the baby “even gave a cry when it came out,” but was left in a bucket to drown.

Christianity gets less sensitive treatment than other religions admits BBC chief

By Paul Revoir  27 February 2012

BBC director-general Mark Thompson has claimed Christianity is treated with far less sensitivity than other religions because it is ‘pretty broad shouldered’.

He suggested other faiths have a ‘very close identity with ethnic minorities’, and were therefore covered in a far more careful way by broadcasters.

But he also revealed that producers had to consider the possibilities of ‘violent threats’ instead of polite complaints if they pushed ahead with certain types of satire.

Mr Thompson said: ‘Without question, “I complain in the strongest possible terms”, is different from, “I complain in the strongest possible terms and I am loading my AK47 as I write”. This definitely raises the stakes.’ (more…)

Jesus Red Bull Commercial Dropped in South Africa Amid Christian Outcry

By Daniel Blake , Christian Post Contributor – March 14, 2012

Red Bull has said that it will drop a commercial released in South Africa due to fierce criticism from Christians, who have said the ad mocks Jesus’ miracle of walking on water.

Christians in the country, although not asked to take part in a full boycott against Red Bull, were told by South Africa’s Roman Catholic bishops not to drink the energy drink during their traditional fast for Lent ahead of Easter.

The commercial has also been released in Brazil, where it has also received huge criticism. As revealed through a previous CP report, the commercial could be banned in the South American country by the National Advertising Council (CONAR).

In the cartoon ad, Jesus and two of his disciples are sitting inside a small fishing boat. Jesus suddenly gets up and with frustration says: “Well guys, that is it! Nothing is going to happen today! I am getting out of here!” (more…)

Holy Spirit Revolution in the Gold Coast / CTFM Credentialing Service & Live Webcast Sun evening 22nd April

Dear family & friends in Christ,

1) All glory to God for this past weekend as Pr Daniel ministered the prophetic Word of the Lord at 2 different churches on the Gold Coast, QLD where the fire of the Holy Ghost fell most powerfully!

We thank God for many hungry souls which were delivered, set free and healed by the mighty presence of God! Some people came to the altar and surrendered their lives to Jesus for the first time!

At one church, there were around 300 people that erupted with shouts of joy and clapping as Pr Daniel shared the Word of God and then spoke about Rise Up Australia Party! The people were so very excited to hear the news of a political party which was committed to protect Australia, its Judeo-Christian heritage and to keep ‘Australia Australian’.

Many responded to the altar call at both churches and were mightily blessed by the power and presence of God. The Pastor of the church was so touched that he got up and challenged the people to support RUA Party in the next federal election. Many took up membership with the party just after the service and so many others were willing to help in any way possible.

Pr Daniel stated, “I was so blessed to see the excitement in the house of God in hearing of RUA Party. In particular, to see both Pastors being totally available to help and support. Also the way they personally promoted the party. I believe that this is God’s timing for a change in the political leadership and direction of Australia, especially with the departure of the Greens Party leader Bob Brown from politics. Also many media personalities and politicians predicting the ‘beginning of the end of the Greens’.

I believe that God is preparing the way for RUA Party to play a major role in government in the near future. Glory to God. Do not believe the lie that church and politics should not mix. If we the church do not take a stand now, our nation is heading for absolute disaster.”

Entire Mosques Coming to Christ in Sub-Saharan Africa, Says Former Church Planter

By Michelle A. Vu , Christian Post Reporter – Tuesday, Mar 27, 2012

The idea of more than 200,000 former Muslims coming to faith in Sub-Saharan Africa within a few short years is mind-boggling. But entire mosques in Sub-Saharan Africa coming to faith? That news is even harder to wrap one’s mind around, but it is in fact what is happening according to reports from a former church planter among Muslims in West Africa.

In the new book Miraculous Movements, Jerry Trousdale, now director of International Ministries for CityTeam International, records amazing and inspiring stories of faith among Muslim communities in Africa. The author opens up a new world to Western readers, taking them into the heart of the “miraculous movement” of God in Africa that is transforming the hearts of Muslims.

Trousdale writes that “unprecedented” events are happening among the Muslim populations that his ministry and its affiliates are working among, including:

• Multiple cases of entire mosques coming to faith
• Thousands of ordinary men and women being used by God to achieve seemingly impossible outcomes
• Tens of thousands of Muslim background Christians becoming dedicated intercessors who fast and pray for the gospel to penetrate the next community
• Muslim people groups that never had even one church among them now have more than fifty church planted, and in some cases more than one hundred churches – within two years of engagement
• Former sheikhs, imams and militant Islamists making up 20 percent or more of the new Christian leaders in Muslim regions

“We had seven years now in Africa. And of the people in Africa, 81 different people groups that have at least 50 percent Muslim have now significant movements among them. Of those 81, 45 are people groups with 99 or 100 percent Muslim,” said Trousdale in an interview with CP. “So we are talking about fairly extreme areas of Islamic influence. These are people who have been Islamic for well over a hundred years, some hundreds of years.”

God Is Not Politically Correct

by Dr. Larry Ollison

God has not changed. The things He disapproved of during the time of Noah, Abraham, Moses, and Paul, He still disapproves of today. God is not an evolving creature that changes His character depending upon His environment. God’s Word always has been and will always be true.

Growing up in the United States of America, I have become accustomed to democracy. We vote on everything. In America, school leaders, community leaders, state leaders, and national leaders are all in their elected positions because they were the most popular. Americans tend to think that if something is popular, it’s right.

When it comes to character, righteousness, and the spiritual things of God, nothing could be further from the truth. God’s kingdom is not a democracy.

Everything God created was created by and for His Son, Jesus. We were created to fellowship with Him. It may come as a shock to some people, but in the Kingdom of God, God is the King. We don’t vote on, debate, or argue the rules. We don’t debate the rules. We don’t argue the rules. Our duty is to willingly obey the rules of the King. (more…)

Open Doors: Growth of Christianity in Iran ‘Explosive’

The Christian Post Middle East Sunday, Mar 25, 2012

Despite the Iranian government’s ongoing crackdown of Christians living in the primarily Islamic country, the number of Muslims converting to become Christians is growing at an explosive rate, according to the persecution watchdog group Open Doors USA.

There is even talk of witnessing a Christian revival, especially among young people living in the country, say Open Doors ministry workers in the Middle East.

A house church movement within Iran is part of that revival and has triggered “many secret meetings.” The growth in the number of Christians is happening in all regions, but mostly in larger cities, say Open Doors workers in the region.

Iran is ranked 5th on the Open Doors 2012 World Watch List of the top 50 worst persecutors of Christians.

“Open Doors workers think that the growth of Christianity has everything to do with Iranians getting to know the real face of Islam, the official religion of Iran, and the mistrust of the people toward the government and leaders following the fraudulent 2009 presidential election of Mahmoud Ahmadinejad,” said a Middle East worker for Open Doors (name withheld for security reasons).

Since the beginning of this year, authorities have arrested Christian converts in Tehran, Ahwaz, Shiraz, Isfahan and Kermanshah, according to news reports from the Middle East and U.S. (more…)

Glorious Resurrection weekend / RUA Party ready for action in Tasmania

Tasmanian RUA State TeamParticipants in the play enjoying fellowshipDear family & friends in Christ,

We thank and praise God for the Easter Resurrection weekend, where we all came together to worship and thank Him for His great gift and sacrifice to mankind, Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior! It was very encouraging to see the TV News coverage of this weekend, and to hear news reporters say that more people were at church this year than in past years. This is great news, because more Aussies are beginning to feel the need for God in their lives.

Many gathered over the weekend at the CTFM base in Melbourne for the Good Friday service, then on Saturday for a Passover meal and on Sunday for the Resurrection service. All were remembering what happened 2000 years ago and giving glory to God, Hallelujah!

On Saturday the Passover meal and drama was organised and directed by sister Jill Curry and a team from CTFM. This was a remarkable night, as people were taken back to the time of Jesus and the Jewish culture. It was also so good to learn the significance of the Passover meal for today. All tickets were sold out, as many with a heart and love for Israel gathered to celebrate this event. The drama was well presented, giving great insight into the journey the people of Israel took from bondage to the promised land, plus the play of Hinds Feet on High Places beautifully portrayed our journey as Christians from fear to maturity and victory in Christ.

On Resurrection Sunday Pr Daniel spoke on the ’15 reasons to celebrate Resurrection weekend’. People were mightily challenged and blessed through the message. You can buy the CD or DVD by calling CTFM office on Mondays or Thursdays or emailing Angelene@reformationharvestfire.com. (more…)

Atheist Professor’s Near-Death Experience in Hell Left Him a Changed Man

Mark Ellis : Mar 14, 2012 : God Reports

Then [Jesus] picked up Howard, like one football player picking up a fallen teammate on the field, put His arms around him, and Howard cried like a baby in His arms. “He carried me out of there and we headed to where God lives.” Afterwards, Howard told his wife Heaven “was all love… you don’t have to suffer anymore.”

(Fort Thomas, KY)—Howard Storm and his wife Marcia are involved in missionary work in Belize. In excerpts from a God Report’s article, reporter Mark Ellis writes the following about an amazing spiritual experience that changed Howard forever. It reads:

In some near-death experiences, people report they were drawn toward “the light.” But in this horrifying near-death experience for an atheist art professor, he was drawn into the darkness of Hell, which dramatically altered the course of his life.

Howard and current wife Marcia “I was a double atheist,” says Howard Storm, who became a tenured art professor at Northern Kentucky University by age 27. “I was a know-it-all college professor—universities are some of the most closed-minded places there are,” he notes. (Howard and current wife, Marcia/God Reports)

On the last day of a three-week European art tour he led, his group had returned to their hotel in Paris after a visit to the artist Delacroix’s home and studio. As Howard stood in his room with his wife and another student, suddenly he screamed and dropped to the floor in agony.

“I had a perforation of the small stomach, known as the duodenum,” he recalls. At first, Howard thought he was shot, and he glanced around the room to see if he could spot a smoking gun. As he writhed in pain on the ground, kicking and screaming, his wife called for a doctor.

“They said I needed surgery immediately,” Howard says. “It’s like having a burst appendix. I was told that if they don’t get to it within five hours, you’re probably going to die.”

Howard had the misfortune of a falling ill on a Saturday in a country with socialized medicine, and no doctor could be found. “French doctors do seven surgeries a week, and after they do the seven surgeries, they take the weekend off,” he discovered. (more…)

Moroccans demand change to Islamic penal code after girl, 16, kills herself because judge forced her to marry her RAPIST

By Lee Moran  14 March 2012

Angry Moroccans are demanding a change to the country’s strict Islamic penal code after a 16-year-old girl killed herself after being forced to marry her rapist.

An online petition, a Facebook page and countless tweets expressed horror over the suicide of Amina Filali, who swallowed rat poison on Saturday in protest at her marriage to the man who raped her a year earlier.

Article 475 of the Moroccan penal code allows for the ‘kidnapper’ of a minor to marry his victim to escape prosecution, and it has been used to justify a traditional practice of making a rapist marry his victim to preserve the honour of the woman’s family.

A judge in Tangier  ordered the rapist to marry his victim as ‘punishment’. (more…)
