Christians to Gather in Philadelphia to Pray for Nation’s Healing

America For Jesus 2012Julie Shutley : Mar 1, 2012 : America for Jesus 2012

(Nashville, TN)—America for Jesus 2012, a gathering of Christians representing all races, parties and denominations, will gather in a solemn assembly on Independence Mall in Philadelphia, Sept. 28-29, to pray for the healing of our nation and its people 40 days before America casts its vote for President, it was announced Sunday at the National Religious Broadcasters Association Convention in Nashville, TN.

“America’s soul is sick, but I believe America still has a chance; I believe in resurrection, and I believe prayer changes things—and that is what we intend to do,” said Bishop Anne Gimenez, pastor of Rock Church International in Virginia Beach, Va., and chairman of America for Jesus 2012. “It’s not about who will be in the White House nor our current financial crisis, it’s about America needing the presence of God.”

America for Jesus 2012 is being organized by One Nation Under God, a coalition of ministries that sponsored the watershed Washington for Jesus events in the 80s and 90s, which focused on prayer, repentance and revival, based on God’s promises found in 2 Chronicles 7:14.

To-date, the five national and numerous regional rallies attended by several hundred thousand people have made significant impact affecting millions across the country and the national movement continues to call for a return to Biblical values rather than endorsing any particular party or candidate.

People weep at the altar as Holy Spirit fire falls in the Newcastle area / Pr Daniel ministering in Bendigo this Sun 25th March

Dear family & friends in Christ,

1) We thank and glorify our awesome God for His wonderful presence this past weekend at meetings where Pr Daniel preached in Maitland & Raymond Terrace in the Newcastle area.  The Spirit of God moved mightily at all 3 revival meetings as the presence of God was so awesome that people just flocked to the altar and fell at the feet of Jesus!  Some were weeping, some were laughing, some were singing, some were shouting for joy and others were just lying on the floor!

People were powerfully touched by the the Word of God and real life testimonies shared by Pr Daniel of the miracle working power of God. Many testified as to how their lives have been radically changed through the meetings over the weekend and how they have found real hope to go forward and take the nation for Jesus!

Pr Daniel stated, “I can see a radical revolution of love in Jesus name rising up all over the nation for a national reformation for the King of kings and the Lord of Lords, to see Australia come back to our Father in Heaven.”

As Pr Daniel spoke about the Rise Up Australia Party and the vision to take Australia, the people responded with shouts of Amen and Hallelujah. Many signed up and took membership with the party, after the service. This was so great. One Pastor commented, ” It seems like revival has come”. All glory to God.

Following is an email we received yesterday from Dr Glenda who lives in Newcastle. We trust this email sums up as to what the Lord did over the weekend.

After surviving sectarian mob, Egyptian Christians expelled from village

JewishWorldReview.com |

The case sends a worrying signal that Egypt’s new parliament is allowing a Mubarak-era system of local justice to trump the rule of law

HARBAT, Egypt— (TCSM) Ten-year-old Romany sits in the same room where his family huddled together nearly three weeks ago, afraid for their lives, as a violent mob attacked their house.

His family had fled to this room on the top floor, where pictures of Jesus and Coptic saints hang on bare cement walls. His parents dragged heavy furniture to the door, barricading it as they heard people try to break in below. The mob was throwing rocks at the windows, and he heard gunfire, says Romany. They were cursing Christians.

“We kept praying that G0d would be with us,” says the fourth-grader. “And He was.”

As the mob set fire to the home of a Christian family across the street, Muslim neighbors saved Romany’s family, hustling them out of their house by a back entrance, into a car, and out of the village, until it was safe enough to return.

The violence in Sharbat began as many sectarian conflicts in Egypt do – with rumors of an affair between a Christian man and a Muslim woman. It ended with eight Christian families forced to leave the village, their property and belongings left to be sold on their behalf by a local committee. The punishment for those who looted and burned Christian properties? None. (more…)

For our eyes only

BY MEGAN DOHERTY, CITY REPORTER CANBERRA TIMES – 09 Feb, 2012

Momentum is gathering for women’s-only swimming in Canberra, whether that be incorporated into the design of the planned Gungahlin Leisure Centre or made available at existing pools.

The government says it is confident of finding a solution. However, it won’t be building a women’s-only pool.

Women who feel they cannot be in swimmers in front of men for religious or cultural reasons are among those likely to use the facility but also older women, those who feel self-conscious about their bodies and women recovering from injury or illness such as breast cancer.

Royal Life Saving ACT, the YWCA of Canberra and the Canberra Islamic Centre are all supporting the push, which is being spearheaded by ACT Greens leader Meredith Hunter.

Ms Hunter said she was contacted by constituents who wanted to ensure women’s-only swimming was incorporated into the design of the new $28.7 million Gungahlin Leisure Centre, which is due to start construction in August. (more…)

We must love the Muslims and pray for them / By Pr Daniel Nalliah

Dear family & friends in Christ,

In the last few weeks, as I have been thinking very much of our dear Muslims friends, the Lord has given me a real burden to start praying for their protection. I know we all want to see them get born again, but we need to really ask a very serious question, “Do we really love them and if we love them, do we have a motive behind our love??”

As Christians, we really need to check our hearts, whether we talk the talk and also walk the walk. If we only love them because we want to win them to Jesus, although this is good and very important, our motive is wrong. Can we love all people, simply because we love them, or do we love them because we have an agenda ??

Let me encourage you, many years ago, I was the same. But when the Lord took me into Saudi Arabia, I was really challenged. I asked the Lord, How can I love these people when they don’t even let me pray in my house or have a Bible and they treat me so badly?? At once I was reminded of the scripture, “Bless those who persecute you, and do not curse them. But pray for them.”  Also the Lord Jesus said in His Word, “It is easy to love those who love you, anyone can do it. But if you are a true Christian, you need to love those who even hate you and pray for them.” In the heart of Islam, right in Saudi Arabia, I received a real love for the Muslim people.

While watching news I was deeply sadden to see the number of Muslims who are getting killed all throughout the Islamic world. I believe that hundreds of Muslims are dying every day due to war and natural disasters. This includes men, women and children. Have we prayed for their protection? Do we realise that they were also created in the image of God.

Jewish Extremists Threaten Christians, Muslims at Jerusalem Peace School

The Christian Post – Middle East – Monday, Feb 13, 2012

Vandals Reportedly Write ‘Death to Christians,’ ‘Holocaust for Arabs’ at Two Faith Sites

Both a Christian monastery and a peace school in Jerusalem set up to improve ties between Arab and Jewish children were targets of extremists who wrote hate speech on the facilities’ walls in separate incidents last week, calling for the death of Christians and a “holocaust” for Arabs.

“Death to Christians” was written at a Jerusalem Christian monastery, an 11th-century holy site situated in a valley overlooking the Israeli parliament, while “Death to Arabs” and “Shoah [Holocaust] for the Arabs” was spray painted at a bilingual children’s school. Police are still investigating to determine whether the attacks were carried out by the same group of people, but all evidence points to Jewish extremists.

“Kahane was right” was another inscription found on the walls at the school, U.K. publication the Independent reported. The inscription is reportedly a reference to an ultra-right wing rabbi whose movement, Kach, was barred from contesting Israeli elections in 1988 and listed by the US State Department as a terrorist organization in 2002. Baby ‘abortion’ argument is crossing the line’

Andrew Bolt of Herald Sun – March 05, 2012

I HAVE written about cases so shocking that whatever you think of abortion – for, against or agonised like me – I thought you’d agreed.

Yes, here a boundary was crossed. This, at least, is too much like murder.

There was the 2000 case of the “abortion” of Jessica, a healthy 32-week-old foetus, after her deeply distressed mother threatened suicide if made to give birth.

The mother thought Jessica could be a dwarf, which meant bad luck. But on “delivery” of the girl, killed in the womb, a nurse at Melbourne’s Royal Women’s recorded: “The baby doesn’t look small.”

I thought this would at least prompt restrictions on the abortion of healthy babies so close to birth.

I was wrong. (more…)

Repentance, Forgiveness, Reconciliation and Tremendous Spiritual Breakthrough

Dear family and friends in Christ,

1) All glory to God, for such an amazing weekend in the power, love and unity of the Holy Spirit!

In a sense it was quite different from other weekends, but the outcome was really great for the advance of the Kingdom of God in Australia as the Lord used Pr Daniel to preach the prophetic Word of God titled “Breaking Word Curses and Generational Curses.”

The message was well received by the congregation, who were from 25+ nationalities, plus the many more who watched the live webcast from across Australia and the nations of the world.

One lady who watched the webcast from NSW commented this morning, “I thank the Lord for using His servant to bring such a message. Even though I was not there, watching the webcast I was so mightily touched by the message and power of God. I realised that I had to deal with some baggage from before. I feel so good now. Thank you so much for having the boldness to listen to the Holy Spirit and for doing what He tells you to do.”

Many who received the Word of God were very deeply convicted of personal and generational curses.  In the house of God there was a real sense of, ‘We want to get our lives right in the sight of God.’ Many responded to the altar, and were led in a prayer of repentance, followed by Pr Daniel praying in Jesus name and breaking the word curses spoken over their lives. Many received inner healing and deliverance as the Holy Spirit started to deal with people’s bondages and set them free.

Then 12,  4th generation Australians were called out and also 12 people who have immigrated to Australia from 3rd world countries were also called out. As each person held each other’s hands, the Aussie’s repented on behalf of their forefathers who  colonised many nations and asked forgiveness. This was an amazing moment as many people in the congregation were in tears. Then the 12 people representing the colonised nations responded with much love, accepted the apology and then went on to repent for any resentment they had towards the people of the land. (more…)

Muslim girl ‘attacked by siblings for kiss’

The Telegraph – 31 Jan

A MUSLIM teenager was kidnapped, imprisoned and had her hair cut off after her family saw her kiss a white man on her 18th birthday, a court has heard.

Shamima Akhtar was bundled into a car by sisters Nadiya, 25, Nazira, 29, and brother Kayum Mohammed-Abdul, 24, outside a Basingstoke restaurant when they saw her kissing work colleague Gary Pain on April 1 last year.

The jury heard how an “extremely aggressive and threatening” Mohammed-Abdul grabbed Mr Pain by the neck as Miss Akhtar was “firmly escorted” to the car and thrown in.

The car was driven back to the family home in Basingstoke, Hants, where it’s alleged she was dragged onto the sofa, called a whore and a prostitute and then had her waist-length hair cut to her neck by her two older sisters.

The jury heard how Shamima was punched by her sister Nadiya and overheard her brother on the phone, saying “Get the gun, I need the boys tonight.” (more…)

Why are so many Aussie kids not keen on studying?? Is there a curse which needs to be broken?? – By Pr Daniel Nalliah

Dear family & friends in Christ,

Over the past few years, I have been very concerned as to why more and more Aussie kids are dropping out of School and Universities ??

Please hear me out as this is a very real problem developing in our nation that needs to be addressed soon. I am sharing this with you because I love our nation Australia and want to see her rise up to fulfil God’s plans for this generation and generations to come.

I used to be part of a Christian school council for a few years. During this time I found out that immigrant families to Australia, particularly from third world countries, were more keen on encouraging their children to study hard and get good results, which in turn helped these students to secure good jobs when they graduated. On the other hand, children who were fourth or fifth generation Aussies were not as motivated to study.

I have been speaking about this important issue with many people and praying for the Lord’s best course of action.

Recently, a school principal stated, “Where I used to be the principal before, there were 95% Anglo-Saxon children in the school. The year 12 results were not as good as the school that I am at now. The school that I am at now has 70% non-Anglo-Saxon children and the results are very good.” (more…)
