French rally against gay marriage

Paris: Riot police have battled hundreds of troublemakers in Paris at the end of a largely peaceful march by tens of thousands opposed to France’s new gay marriage law.

Sunday’s main demonstration saw three separate processions converging on the Invalides esplanade, filling the huge promenade with pink and blue – the official colours of the anti-gay marriage movement.

Police said 150,000 people turned out to protest, a figure immediately contested by organisers of the demonstration who said one million opponents of the law had shown up.

By early evening, no incidents had been reported despite the presence of far-right activists, some of whom briefly unfurled a banner at the ruling Socialist party’s headquarters urging President Francois Hollande to resign.

But as the protesters dispersed, police said up to 500 people began attacking them by throwing metal barriers, smoke flares and beer bottles.

Police said they arrested 96 people and used tear gas to fight off the troublemakers.

Doctors give up on 17 year old girl – Jesus steps in with miracle / Great RUAP meetings in Kyabram & Geelong / Pr Daniel & RUAP Campaign in Townsville & Ingham Qld from 15-17 June 2013

Dear family & friends in Christ,

1) Around three weeks ago Pr Daniel received a call from Perth asking him to urgently rush to the Monash Hospital ICU in Melbourne, as there was a 17 year old girl dying. He stopped what he was doing and immediately went to the hospital.

On arrival he was informed that the girl was in a critical condition and that the doctors were planing to turn off the life support, as there was no hope. When he went into the room the girl’s family were all crying, and it seemed like they were saying their goodbyes. The family being Catholic were very faithfully praying in their custom. Then he found out that the girl had a very bad seizure previously, and that’s what caused her to be in this near death condition.

Pr Daniel stated, “When I got there, there was no hope at all in the natural. To my surprise, I noticed that the nurse on duty was from our church. After asking all the visitors to leave the room, I asked only the parents and the born-again Christian nurse to come in. Looking at the girl I felt very sad. The room was filled with the spirit of death.

I knew something had to change immediately, or the girl would not last until the next morning. So I took authority in the name of Jesus and bound the spirit of death and every word curse spoken over this young 17 year old girl, who was unconscious and on life support. When I looked at the parents my heart was drawn towards them with compassion. By this time I had alerted our intercessors to storm heaven in prayer. I led the mother & father to the Lord.

Then I declared, ‘Fallon (the girl’s name) you shall not die but live and praise God. Spirit of death leave this room. I call back Fallon in Jesus name, come back.’ Then turning to the family, I told them. Now do not ask God to heal. You do not need to repeat the same prayer. You must now start thanking Jesus by faith for her healing and then I left.”

Australian Military Brings Charges Against Reserve Officer for Criticizing Islam

April 24, 2013 By Daniel Greenfield

The first rule of Mass Muslim Immigration Club is no one talks about it. The second rule is that if they do talk about it, they are subjected to legal action.

Former Katter Australian Party senate candidate Bernard Gaynor claims he has been charged by the Australian Defence Force over comments he made about Muslim immigration and terrorism.

Mr Gaynor, an Army Reserve Intelligence Officer, has posted a series of blogs arguing Islam immigration should be limited and in the wake of the Boston bombings re-aired his views.

He said he was charged on Monday by the ADF for bringing the organisation into disrepute and responded by saying it was proof political correctness was hampering the ADF’s ability to fight against Islamic violence.

“It is outrageous that the Australian Defence Force is charging me for discussing Islam,” he said in a statement.

His latest blog about limiting Muslim immigration is titled “ASIO concern highlights need for immigration debate” and was posted in the wake of the Boston bombings.

Pentagon Backpedals on Court-Martial for Christian Soldiers Who Share Jesus

Charisma News – 5/2/2013 Nicole Lange

The Department of Defense spokesperson who made comments Tuesday indicating that members of the military could be subject to court martial for ‘religious proselytization’ backtracked in a new statement Thursday. Alliance Defending Freedom filed a Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) request Wednesday for records related to a Pentagon statement issued Tuesday that indicated members of the military could be subject to court martial for “religious proselytization.”

The Department of Defense spokesperson who made the comments backtracked in a new statement Thursday that explains, “Service members can share their faith (evangelize), but must not force unwanted, intrusive attempts to convert others of any faith or no faith to one’s beliefs (proselytization).”

“Members of our military should not be denied the very freedoms they fight to defend. Freedom of religion and speech are paramount among those freedoms,” says legal counsel Joseph La Rue. “We appreciate the Pentagon’s clarification, but little or no evidence exists of coercive proselytization in the military, so we are still troubled over what motivated the original comments.”

A Must Read from Pr Daniel – My Channel 7 Today Tonight interview held in Auburn (Sydney) held right in front of Muslim midday prayer time

Dear family & friends in Christ,

I thank and praise God for the Holy Spirit leading me to do what He has asked me to do. If not for Jesus, what happened on Friday last week would have never happened.

Last Thursday I had a call from a journalist from the Sydney Daily Telegraph. She was very upset as one of their journalists was asked to leave Auburn, because it was a ‘NO GO ZONE’ or call it an ‘Islamic Sharia Zone’. This journalist who certainly seemed very upset did an interview with me and published it in the Friday newspaper.

For those who have not read it already, you may click the following link.

On Friday morning as I was driving to the airport, Channel 7 Today Tonight called me and said that they wanted to interview me in Sydney.  When I arrived in Sydney I was picked up by the Channel 7 vehicle and three media crew members.

While driving, they told me that we were going to Auburn, a suburb in Sydney which is more than 70% Muslim, and one of the places where the Sunni and Shia Muslims have been fighting each other regarding the war in Syria.  This is the same suburb where Channel 7 Today Tonight showed a Sunni Muslim punch a Shia Muslim in the face a few weeks ago.

The reporter then told me that they have organised two body guards for me, just to make sure that nothing happened. We arrived at a car park where we were met by a 2nd TV camera crew from Channel  7 and then I was introduced to the two body guards, named Ahmed and Mohamed. They were two real big Muslim guys.

Faith Behind the Fascination with Margaret Thatcher’s Grandchildren

Teresa Neumann (Apr 26, 2013)

Amanda Thatcher’s much heralded reading from Ephesians at her grandmother’s funeral is due to the fact that “she knows God” and “has a mother who loves the Lord.”

(The U.K.) – Margaret Thatcher’s granddaughter, Amanda Thatcher, who was raised in the United States, wowed churchgoers at her grandmother’s funeral when she eloquently read from the book of Ephesians (click here to see video).

“Flawless!” gushed funeral attendants of the poised 19-year-old student, no doubt surprised that an American could be as articulate as their British counterparts. (Photo: NY Daily News)

Now, as revealed by Amanda’s mother, Diane Beckett – daughter-in-law of the late Prime Minister – not only is confidence, presence and articulation “in the blood,” it’s also a product of faith.

An article in The Telegraph details how Amanda Thatcher met and married Margaret Thatcher’s son Mark, whom she met in Texas in 1986 and later divorced. Today, Amanda is married to publishing magnate, James Beckett. According to the report, their family’s belief in God is the “bedrock of their life.”

Colorado Christians Answering the Prayers of Orphans

5/10/2013 Charlene Israel/CBN News

Each year thousands of children enter America’s foster care system and state workers are often overwhelmed with the task of finding them a safe home, but a growing number of Christians are getting involved to help ease the burden.

If you ever take the time to hear them, all of these children long for a sense of normalcy and peace—a place to call home.

“Will I ever be enough to be loved?” asks one 5-year-old foster girl.

After being placed with a permanent family, one 12-year-old boy commented, “I have a dream.”

“This time someone wanted me and I didn’t have to say goodbye,” he said.

In James 1:27, the Bible speaks of children without parents and the answer to their needs:

“Religion that God our Father accepts as pure and faultless is this: to look after orphans and widows in their distress.”

NSW RUAP campaign meetings bring great excitement & some commit their lives to Jesus!

Dear family & friends in Christ,

The NSW RUAP campaign meetings in Blacktown (Sydney), Raymond Terrace (Newcastle), Blaxland (Sydney) & Wollongong brought great excitement to those who attended the meetings.

30-40 % of the people at some of the meetings came in after hearing or reading about RUA Party meeting in the media.

The meetings in Blacktown were covered by many media outlets, including Reuters News, The Daily Telegraph, BBC, Channel 7 & 10.

Unfortunately, the RSL did not permit Channel 7 & 10 to use their television cameras inside the hall. This was very disappointing.

Those who attended the meetings were very excited and challenged through RUAP National President Daniel Nalliah’s speech.

One young man, who was formerly a soldier in the Australia army, and had spent time in Afghanistan, shared with Pr Daniel that seven of his soldier mates had died. Some were killed in combat and others committed suicide.

He then told him that he too was having terrible nightmares at least twice a week. When Pr Daniel finished his political speech, this young man approached him and told him that he felt shivers running through his body while he was speaking, which had never happened to him before.

Well, all glory to God, this young fellow was mightily touched by the presence of God and then Pr Daniel led him to the Lord. With tears in his eyes, he gave his heart to Jesus.

Then, also in Wollongong at the RUAP meeting, four people prayed the sinners prayer to ask Jesus to come in their hearts, after hearing Pr Daniel’s testimony.  Our NSW lead Senate Candidate Mike Bloomfield led them in prayer.

Wow!! Isn’t this amazing! Souls coming to Jesus at a political party meeting! Well RUA Party’s mandate from God is to see Australia turn back to Jesus, not by force, but by love led by the Holy Spirit!

First slavery, now abortion: blacks bear brunt America’s lost moral rudder

by Star Parker –  May 06, 2013 (LifeSiteNews.com)

In 1854, Abraham Lincoln confronted America’s first “pro-choice” Senator Stephen Douglas, in a speech in Peoria, Illinois.

“Choice” then was about slavery, not abortion.

Douglas sponsored the Kansas-Nebraska Act, which addressed the sticky question of how to deal with legality of slavery in new territories entering the union. The Kansas-Nebraska Act resolved this by “choice.” Residents would vote to decide if slavery would be legal in their territory.

Lincoln challenged Douglas’s “pro-choice” position on slavery. According to Douglas, said Lincoln, “…the principle of the Nebraska Bill was very old; that it originated when God made man and placed good and evil before him, allowing him to choose for himself, being responsible for the choice he should make.”

No, said Lincoln. “God did not place good and evil before man, telling him to make his choice. On the contrary, he did tell him there was one tree, of the fruit of which he should not eat, upon pain of certain death.”

Islam’s Collective Punishment of Christians

by Raymond Ibrahim, Investigative Project on Terrorism, April 18, 2013

As many of Israel’s critics portray it as collectively punishing the Palestinians, overlooked and unsaid is the greater frequency with which Muslims collectively punish the religious minorities living under their authority, often in atrocious ways.

Consider Egypt alone. The most recent attacks on Egypt’s Copts, culminating in the unprecedented besiegement of the St. Mark Cathedral, the holiest site of Coptic Orthodoxy, is the latest large-scale “collective punishment” of the nation’s indigenous Christian minority. Indeed, almost all of the major attacks on Copts are carried out in the context of collective punishment, based on the idea that, if just one Christian upsets Muslims, all Christians—and their churches and their women and their children—become fair game.

Collectively punishing “upstart” religious minorities who refuse to know their place in the Islamic order actually has doctrinal backing. According to Mark Durie, author of The Third Choice: “Even a breach by a single individual dhimmi [non-Muslim living under Muslim authority] could result in jihad being enacted against the whole community. Muslim jurists have made this principle explicit, for example, the Yemeni jurist al-Murtada wrote that ‘The agreement will be canceled if all or some of them break it…’ and the Moroccan al-Maghili taught ‘The fact that one individual (or one group) among them has broken the statute is enough to invalidate it for all of them.'”

The latest collective punishment visited upon the Copts began in Khosous, near Cairo, on April 5, when a longstanding feud between a Christian family and a Muslim family—based on male Muslims sexually harassing Christian girls—culminated in the violent deaths of six Christians, including one set on fire, and one Muslim. In retribution, Muslims went on yet another “Friday-rampage”—Friday being the day Muslims meet and pray and hate and call for jihads on Christians—resulting in the injury of at least 20 other Copts, an attack on a Coptic church, and an Evangelical church set on fire.

Iran moves American Christian to solitary confinement over prayer protest

FoxNews.com, April 29, 2013 – By Lisa Daftari

The American pastor jailed in Iran for his faith has been placed in solitary confinement and may now be suffering organ failure, according to family members in Iran who are increasingly alarmed at his deteriorating health.

Saeed Abedini, the 32-year-old Christian and American citizen who is serving an eight-year prison term in Iran, was put in solitary confinement following a “peaceful, silent protest” in an outside courtyard at Iran’s notoriously brutal Evin prison, according to family members. Conditions at the prison prompted Abedini and other prisoners to sign a petition decrying the lack of medical care and the threats and harsh treatment facing family members who come to visit.

The protest angered prison officials who retaliated by placing Abedini and nine others in solitary confinement.

“Saeed had previously told his family that when he was in solitary confinement in the past, that was the hardest time in his life. That every hour was like one year and that he was losing his memory and his health was deteriorating quickly,” said his wife, Naghmeh Abedini, who is at the family’s home in Idaho with their two young children.
