Marching For Jesus In Secular France

At The MarchIn France, a country known for its secularization and growing Islamic population, tens of thousands of Christians will take to the streets for a March for Jesus on Saturday, which is being held at the same time as the nation’s annual gay pride parade.

An estimated 30,000 Christians will parade through the streets of Bordeaux, Lille, Nantes and Paris, France, distributing 100,000 Bibles and 20,000 gospel tracts. Representing at least 70 different churches, marchers will carry signs proclaiming Jesus as Lord as they sing worship songs.

Parade participants also hope to be able to share their faith with the estimated 800,000 people who will gather for the nation’s annual gay pride parade, whose route will intersect with the March for Jesus. Christian marchers have been prepped to pray and witness to the homosexuals without fear.

“It would be such a great privilege to be praying for all of the thousands of homosexuals that will be marching on the streets,” said Christine Thabot, an event organizer and co-pastor of Temple de Paris with her husband, David. “We’re not afraid. They need love, and we are there to bring them the love of Christ.” (more…)

Prayer Assault Against The Bill of Rights

United Prayer

Dear family & friends in Christ,

Thank you for your valued support to all of you who have sent submissions to the government in response to the several emails we and others have sent over the last few months regarding the proposed Bill of Rights.

I have had a few people ask me how we can pray against the Bill of Rights. Following are my thoughts and suggested prayer points.

Bill Of Rights Attack On Majority Law Abiding Citizens?

Pastor DannyDear family & friends in Christ,

The Federal Government plans to introduce a Bill of Rights, which at face value seems to be very good, in particular the way it’s packaged and promoted by clever agents of the Rudd Government. I heard one such agent say on TV last week, ‘there are 40,000 submissions and I guess most of them support the bill.” However, this is not true. According to information I have received from a person within the Government who does not agree with this bill, most submissions are against it.

Currently across Australia, there are many one-track minded forums promoting how good this bill is.  It seems we are reliving the introduction of the Racial & Religious Vilification Laws all over again. The Government held similar forums across Victoria where many people were in opposition to them. Although there was around 80% of submissions against, the Government passed the Racial & Religious Vilification Laws anyway.

I wonder why the Government calls for submissions and conducts forums, because it seems their bills will pass anyway. Is it all a big farce to make the public think they are a free and democratic Government run by the people.? In reality the Left-Wing secular agendas (also promoted by the United Nations) will be carried out anyway, whether the rest of us Aussies like it or not.

Revival Through Persecution

End Times - Pr DannyDear family & friends in Christ,

I’ve been praying that the church in Australia will be proactive and move into revival through a season of increasing prosperity and favor with God.  However, unfortunately I believe that most part of the church has sadly chosen to be reactive and will now experience revival only through persecution. Why should we the church wait until something goes wrong to wake up and put it right, after having paid a heavy price? Well, the sad truth is that most of the church is not hearing the voice of God, nor willing to obey even if they do hear His voice!

There is a big difference between believing (passive) and obedience (faith in action). Just simply believing will not bring revival. We must ACT on what we believe in faith to see revival. I think we in Australia chose to go with persecution when we made the choice to elect a government in 2007 with more than 80% anti-Christian politicians and dumped a government with more than 70% Christians, including some great morally sound Christians at the top of its leadership.

Before the 2007 election the Lord gave me a clear prophetic word, “If my people UNITE, PRAY & ACT,  John Howard would be re-elected and Peter Costello will take on the leadership.” When John Howard (former Prime Minister) was not re-elected, I was criticized by many Christian leaders who praised Kevin Rudd (current Prime Minister) as the man of God for the hour. In particular one very well known prayer ministry leader even mocked me through his national email database, praising Kevin Rudd as one of the godliest Christian Prime Ministers in Australia’s history. Two Years Since Victory From Court Case!

Dear family and friends in Christ,

Today Monday 22nd June is a very special day for us and I’m sure for all freedom loving fellow countrymen in Australia, as it marks 2 years since we won the court case in the Supreme Court of Appeal for Freedom of Speech and Religion after a 5 year battle in the Victorian Civil and Administrative Tribunal and then the Supreme Court. I’m sure we will celebrate this monumental day for years to come in remembrance of the victory against a bad piece of legislation which almost took away our rights to declare Jesus as the only way to the Father in heaven!

On a personal note, it’s also a special day that brought great joy to our family as the Lord blessed my wife and I with our 3rd child who turns 2 years old today!  So every year at her birthday we will give God the glory for helping us stand our ground for His righteousness and justice in our nation of Australia to see this great victory for the Kingdom of God! You May Not Like It, But It’s The Truth.

Israeli FlagAs Israel prepares for what could be an attack or a counter attack from Iran, one thing remains  certain, we here in Israel are certainly preparing for war.  With constant preparations of our missile defense systems the Arrow anti-missile, the THAAD and something I believe to be new for Israel the AEGIS.  The IDF, IAF and Reserves are training every week now for different types of seniors.  It is now known that Iran has the capabilities of sending split warheads, and a large barrage of missiles at one time.  With the new radar bases set up in Israel it is possible to have several minutes of warning after Iran launches the first missile.

What I am about to say may come as a surprise to most reading this.  It is my belief that Iran is not all that ready to attack Israel, for they know it would be committing suicide for the majority of its people.  That does not mean that Israel isn’t on their agenda simply because from child hood Arabs are taught to hate and to kill Jews.  But what Iran is most interested in at this point is total control of the Persian Gulf, Israel isn’t in there way for taking  control, but the US Navy is.  As Iran keeps all the attention on the possibility of  wiping Israel off the map, (not likely) instead of what they are really planning  and that is a massive attack on the USA.  It has been reported in the past that they have been working on the capability to launch Ballistic Missiles off of commercial cargo ships that will be in range  of the US coast lines with no problem giving them the ability to reach any US city almost at will.  Even though it is never spoken of, there are few who don’t believe Iran has already purchased nuclear warheads for many of their missiles, and we are suppose to believe they can only obtain them by making their own. Then it is no secret that sleepers cells have been put into place across the US as well and waiting on the orders to go into action.  In the mean time all eyes are on the ancient war between Ishmael and Isaac and to be certain that war does exist and will continue to go forward until the Prince of Peace returns.  (more…)

Hispanic Christians Rally Against Gay Marriage in New York

By Adrienne S. Gaines

Sen. Rubén Díaz Hispanic pastors in New York are mobilizing to oppose a gay marriage bill that passed in the state Assembly Tuesday night.

Led by Democratic New York state Sen. Rubén Díaz (pictured), a Pentecostal pastor in the Bronx, tens of thousands of Christians are expected to gather outside Gov. David Patterson’s Manhattan offices on Sunday afternoon to protest his moves to bring same-sex marriage to the state.

Díaz, who is ordained through the Church of God (Cleveland, Tenn.), said Patterson disrespected the Catholic, Jewish and evangelical communities by introducing the gay marriage bill April 16, just days after Easter and Passover week.

“I’m telling the governor he’s being disrespectful,” said Díaz, pastor of Christian Community Neighborhood Church in the Bronx. “On Sunday, it is a good possibility that someone in the rally will ask him to resign.”

A similar gay marriage bill passed in the state Assembly in 2007 but failed in the Senate. Díaz said that the Assembly’s 89-52 vote Tuesday night was no major victory because the Senate lacks the 32 votes needed to pass the measure, even though there are 32 Democratic senators. (more…)

Pentecostalism, Version 20.09

By J. Lee Grady

At my second daughter’s college graduation this weekend I saw the future of our movement.

Some people twitch or roll their eyes when you say the word Pentecostal. The term conjures up outdated images of either (1) slick-haired, Bible-thumping preachers who spew saliva on the unfortunate souls seated in the first three pews, or (2) scowling women with their hair in buns who know how to scare you with glossolalia.

Say goodbye to the worn-out stereotypes. Last weekend I saw the future of the Pentecostal movement when my wife and I attended a graduation ceremony at Emmanuel College, the liberal arts school in northeast Georgia that was founded 90 years ago by the International Pentecostal Holiness Church. What we witnessed on Saturday was a refreshing reminder that God has raised up a new generation of young people who are empowered by the Holy Spirit.

“Today’s Christian college students are nauseated by any kind of religious hype, whether it’s blow-dried evangelists, insincere appeals for offerings, faked healings, goofy buzzwords or schmaltzy Christian pop music.” (more…)

Gospel For Asia Workers Helping Sri Lankans Displaced By Civil War

By News Release

Sri Lankan FlagThere are reports of individual Believers ministering to the people in the camps.

(Carrollton, TX)—Gospel for Asia-supported missionaries, workers and lay leaders are reaching out to thousands of Sri Lankans displaced by the most recent battles between the government and the Tamil Tigers rebel group. The United Nations estimates that about 50,000 civilians are trapped by the conflict. They are crowded onto a tiny strip of land that has been designated by the government as a “safe zone.”

Workers representing GFA are providing for the needs of people in the government-run camps. The workers are delivering sandals for the people, many of whom wore out their own sandals walking to the camps. They are also providing books for the makeshift schools operating in the camps, along with food. (more…)

Speech By Australian MP – on Islamic Apostasy & Shari’a Law

Speaker Simpkins, Luke, MP Question No.

Mr SIMPKINS (Cowan) (8.50 pm)—I was recently handed the magazine of the Barnabas Fund, Barnabas Aid, which supports hope and aid for the persecuted church. I was fascinated to read of an issue of great importance to me and a great many people in Cowan. The issue is apostasy, which in this case is where a Muslim converts to Christianity and faces extreme consequences that in various countries include murder, imprisonment, harassment, beatings, torture, rape and a wide range of other persecution undertaken either as a legally sanctioned punishment or by family or others in the community who believe that their actions are justified under the scriptures. This issue is about religious intolerance, and this is the grievance I wish to speak to. (more…)

Is There Honor In Honor Killings?

Dallas M. Roark, Ph.D.

There is a lot of emphasis on honor in Muslim cultures. We read about so-called “honor killings.” The reasoning behind honor killings is that it “cleanses” the honor of the person or family whose honor has been wounded. Killing the suspected offender is supposed to restore the integrity of the family name. Actually, one alleged bad sin is followed by the worst sin of murder. The old saying is true: two wrongs don’t make a right. Murder is murder.

Let’s raise some questions about this whole concept. Where does my honor come from? Does it come from my family? Does my family bestow honor on me? Let us suppose that my father is a crook and I am not. Does that make me a crook? Not at all. Am I to be shamed because of him? Suppose that I am a crook and my father is not, does that make my father a crook? Not at all. Is he to be shamed because of me?

It has been observed that Muslim cultures are familial, clanish, and tribal, not individualistic. This concept seems to be behind “honor killings.” They believe that if you take away the corporate aspect of the culture, control over morality will be lost. What can be said about this idea? How can morality be protected by immoral acts? How can morality come from immoral acts? (more…)

Only If The British Stayed In Sri Lanka – It Could Have Been Another Australia

By Pr Danny Nalliah
President – Catch The Fire Ministries Inc.

Sri Lankan FlagDear Friends and Family in Christ around the World,

I have always wondered whether it was a big mistake Sri Lanka made when it got its independence from the British in 1948. Then known as Ceylon and very famous for its Ceylon Tea, the nation now called Sri Lanka has been in civil conflict for the past 50+ years.  Thank God for the British who set foot on Australia some 200 years ago and made it a wonderful land to live in! I am so happy that they did not leave Australia.  As a Sri Lankan born Aussie, I must say we should be so grateful  for our great Nation.

Tea Plantations of Sri LankaMy parents studied under the British administration in Sri Lanka in a season when all people studied in English, and spoke English as their first language. They never looked at each other as a particular race group but rather as fellow Ceylonese.

As soon as the British left in 1948,  corrupt power hungry Government officials divided the once united country, giving some groups more privileges than others, and leaving minorities in the country to languish. This sparked off ethnic tensions and communal violence, thus requiring Sinhalese to study in Sinhalese and Tamils to study in Tamil. This divided a once united community in Sri Lanka, and made it a Sinhalese-Buddhist nation. (more…)

The State Of The Nation Prayer Event In London Said To Be Possibly The Most Important Gathering Since WWII

By Teresa Neumann

State Of The Nation Gathering“Put a stake in the ground and declare that we will no longer be divided and that we will allow the Lord to be Lord, and that the church will rise up and say ‘Lord, let Your Kingdom come, let Your will be done.'”

(London, England)—Hundreds of Christians, representing many denominations, gathered at the Emmanuel Centre Church in London last weekend to cry out to God over the moral and spiritual crisis in the UK. As reported in Christian Today, The State of the Nation gathering also focused on repentance over the church’s silence in the face of immoral legislation passed over the decades, particularly in the areas of the unborn child and marriage.

David Noakes, a member of the State of the Nation facilitating group, was quoted as saying the prayer meeting was possibly the most important gathering since World War II. (more…)
