1) All glory to God!  Another baby has been saved through Options Plus Care Pregnancy crisis counselling division of Catch The Fire Ministries.  We thank God that after the re-launch of this ministry a few months ago, there has been a flood of inquiries for help, support and ministry.
 
We praise God for every opportunity He gives us to proclaim the good news of the Gospel and carry out the mandate God gave Pastor Daniel, which is: “To Save A Life and Save A Soul”
 
I was so thrilled when I received a call asking for help regarding a young woman who was pregnant.   I visited the home on several occasions, and then found out that they were Muslims.   I was so very excited that God had taken me into their lives as a light.   I soon realised that this young mum to be and her mother both needed our help, as there was no real male figure in the house.
 
Praise God for His wonderful grace and counsel through the Holy Spirit, which enabled this young girl to give birth to a very healthy baby boy on Monday the 17th of May.   They now call us their family and I know that before long they will come to know Jesus as their Lord and Saviour.
 
Pastor Daniel visited the family in hospital within 24 hours of the birth.   They were so happy to see him and this is such a miracle,  a Muslim family so excited to see a Christian Minister. (more…)

Four years ago, the International Conference to Review the Global Vision of the Holocaust’ was held in Tehran on December 11, 2006. Manouchehr Mottaki, the Iranian Foreign Minister, stated at the time that the aim of the conference was to “neither to deny nor prove the Holocaust but to provide an appropriate scientific atmosphere for scholars to offer their opinions in freedom about a historical issue.”

Those who contributed to the scientific atmosphere at the conference, included David Duke, a Ku Klux Klan leader and former US state representative, Robert Faurisson, a convicted Holocaust denier from France and a number of other academic professors and educators all engaged in Holocaust Denial research and rhetoric. One such professor, Dr. Fredrick Toben, an Australian citizen, runs an Internet site vilifying Jews while promoting that Nazis did not commit the mass murder of the Jewish people. Several right-extremist politicians from Germany’s neo-Nazi NPD party were invited as well, although the German government barred them from attending.

However, the central purpose of the conference went beyond providing a friendly environment for international Holocaust deniers to share their twisted sentiments. The Iranian Foreign Minister elaborated that “If the official version of the Holocaust is thrown into doubt, then the identity and nature of Israel will be thrown into doubt. And if, during this review, it is proved that the Holocaust was a historical reality, then what is the reason for the Palestinians having to pay the cost of the Nazis’ crimes?” (more…)

Pastor Daniel and a team from Catch The Fire attended the below mentioned debate in order to prayerfully support Bill Muehlenberg in his stand for the Lord’s righteousness. We want to thank the Lord for people like Bill who stand up for the truth of the Word of God. He did a fantastic job in standing up for marriage between a man and a woman as God has ordained it to be in His Word.

At the end of the debate Pastor Daniel with a few others approached Rodney Croome and asked him, “Is Federal Labor or Liberal more sympathetic to the homosexual cause?” He first refused to make a clear statement, but then acknowledged that under Labor they were able to get 80 + pieces of legislation passed in Parliament to support homosexuality, which they could not do under the Howard Liberal era.

Get Ready For The Harvest – by Pr Daniel / CTFM Building Project Update

Dear family & friends in Christ,
 
I want to personally thank you for sharing and carrying God’s vision with us and many others across our nation, to see Australia transformed for Jesus by 2020!
 
The Word of God from Proverbs 29:18 proclaims, “Where there is no vision the people perish.” This is so true. In 2000 in Ethiopia the Lord challenged me, “Give Me 2 decades of your life and I will give you the nation of Australia as an inheritance.” I am holding onto this promise as I know with Christ all things are possible.
 
Last year we at CTFM started raising funds for our building project, and I want to thank you all for supporting it so generously. Unfortunately, after a very lengthy legal battle with the local council we were not granted the permit to have a place of worship on the site where we had planned to buy the building.
 
Nevertheless, God most miraculously opened the door for us to temporarily lease a building for our ministry which already had a zoning for a place of worship. However, we continued praying for the Lord to give us our own building.

On 29th April while I was in prayer, I heard the Holy Spirit say to me, “Do you believe that the harvest is coming?” I responded promptly, “Yes.” Then the Lord said to me, “You are not ready to take in the harvest (Souls).  Build a home which can seat 500 people and then 1000 and take care of them.” At this point I realised that the Lord wanted me to love and take care of His flock, not to run a place of worship like an orphanage, but as a real home for these precious souls who are not orphans, but true sons and daughters of our Lord and Saviour.  Our Heavenly Father is calling us at CTFM to respect, love, care for, and release people into their God-given destinies, rejoicing in their successes in the Kingdom of God, as a true father will rejoice at the success of his children!

God Says: “I Want My People to Pray In a New Pentecost that will Sweep the Face of the Earth”

On December 31, 2009, the Holy Spirit spoke through me and said, “I’m going to shake the earth. You will begin to see earthquakes—I am going to shake everything that can be shaken. Look where the earthquakes are hitting because God is going to release a wind of Pentecost in those places.”

Since that time we have seen an increase in earthquake activity on a large scale. Haiti was and is experiencing horrible devastation. After the earthquake, the president called for a day of fasting and prayer for the nation. This was a miracle in this country that had formerly been dedicated to voodoo.

With only five days notice, Christian leaders were able to gather around 1,000,000 people for a prayer meeting. On that day, the winds of Pentecost did indeed blow as 3,000 were saved—among them 101 voodoo priests. It seems the back of the strongman of the occult was broken in that land and I believe a new Haiti will arise. (more…)

Would you believe 1 million to attend Christian concert? Doubling the size of Woodstock, organizers say, ‘can’t be ignored’

A local newspaper ran a two-page article on the concert titled “Calling All Christians,” and that’s exactly what Jim Plack and the organizers of Jubileefest are doing, seeking to gather 1 million people to a farm outside of tiny Houston, Del., this summer for a praise and prayer event for the nation.

“Every Christian should be there,” quipped the Jubileefest website, “but we only have room for a million.”
Never mind that Jublieefest is in its inaugural year. Never mind that the crowd Plack is hoping to gather is more than three times larger than any Christian concert event in history and twice as big as 1969’s “Three Days of Peace and Music.” Plack is trusting God to fulfill the vision he says the Almighty has given him, a vision for a concert that will impact the nation even more than the fabled Woodstock.

“If half a million hippies can gather on farm in New York to do drugs and have sex,” Plack told WND, “certainly God can bring a million Christians to a farm in Delaware.” (more…)

Christianity in Indonesia Surges; Healings, Miracles Part of the Reason?

(Indonesia)—A report in Time Magazine—a secular publication—has recognized the explosive growth of Christianity in Indonesia.

Notes reporter Hannah Beech: “A religious revolution is transforming Indonesia. Part of the spiritual blossoming entails Muslims embracing a more conservative form of faith…More surprising, though, is the boom in Christianity—officially Indonesia’s second largest faith and a growing force throughout Asia. TEN DAYS OF PRAYER FOR THE WORLD AND GLOBAL DAY OF PRAYER

 

The Global Day of Prayer is a call to Christians to unite in a day of  repentance and united prayer. On Pentecost Sunday 23 May 2010, Christians across the world will respond to the invitation of 2 Chronicles 7:14 to humble ourselves, pray, seek His face and turn from our wicked ways in order that He may fulfil His promise to hear our prayers, forgive our sin and heal our lands.

The Australian Prayer Network is coordinating prayer across Australia for this Global event. Preparation for the Global Day of Prayer begins on Ascension Day, 13th May. That is when Christians across the world will begin 10 days of prayer leading to Pentecost. On Pentecost Sunday 23rd May 2010, Christians in almost every country of the world will assemble to pray, many in small groups in homes, some in Churches, outdoor venues, and other public places.

The Global Day of Prayer is a call to encounter God with others so that He can change us and bring forth all that He desires among the nations. We are encouraged to Pray globally, Gather locally.

Tonight, the eve of Holocaust Martyrs’ and Heroes’ Remembrance Day,  we remember our brothers and sisters who were murdered in the death camps,  in the forests and in the killing fields. We listen to the voices of the survivors who serve as the voice of the millions who died. Before their deaths, many of the murdered begged, “Do not forget us. Tell our story—tell the world, tell the coming generations – how great our suffering was, how terrible the horror was, how great our sacrifice was.”

Several months ago, I headed the Israeli delegation to the ceremony marking 65 years since the liberation of the death camps Auschwitz and Birkenau. The candle-lighting ceremony took place outside in front of the monument. It was 15 degrees Celsius below zero, but it was still warmer than the terrible winter of 1944-1945 when temperatures ranged from 30 to 35 degrees below zero. We stood for about 30 minutes during the ceremony, well-dressed for the weather, nevertheless, we were freezing. Suddenly I understood a simple, chilling truth about millions of my brothers and sisters who ended up in that cursed place: those who didn’t burn, froze; and those who didn’t freeze, burned.
 
Several months earlier, I visited the Wannsee Villa in Berlin. There, I saw the original invitation for the meeting of high-level Nazi officials, in which they decided to wipe out the Jewish people. On the invitation that was sent by the Deputy Head of the SS was written: “The chief of the Reich main security office, Reinhard Heydrich, cordially invites you to a discussion about the Final Solution to the Jewish problem. Breakfast will be served at 09:00.” This is how, in an elegant villa on the shore of a pastoral lake, over breakfast and glasses of cognac, 15 men sat and decided how to destroy our people. No one batted an eyelid; no one expressed any doubt regarding the mission, either its necessity or its justness. (more…)

Israelis celebrated 62 years since the founding of the Jewish state with fireworks and street parties after sundown on Monday 20th April. The festivities continued until sundown on Tuesday, with thousands flocking to parks and nature reserves for traditional barbecues and family gatherings. Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu hailed the day as a “double miracle in the life of the Jewish people”. “The first miracle is the restoration of Jewish sovereignty,” Netanyahu said in an Independence Day message.

“The second miracle is what we’ve done since the establishment of the Jewish state. Israel is fast becoming a regional economic power and one of the world’s leading technological powers,” he said. Israel was founded on May 14, 1948, which according to the Jewish calendar corresponds this year to April 20. Celebrations began after a state ceremony that marks the annual transition from a day of mourning for Israel’s fallen to Independence Day celebrations.

Earlier in the day, traffic ground to a halt across Israel as drivers joined pedestrians in two minutes of silence while sirens wailed in commemoration of fallen soldiers and attack victims. The memorial day started at sunset on Sunday and continues for 24 hours. For the duration, radio stations play sombre music and television channels replaced regular entertainment programs with documentaries on Israel’s wars. The two minutes of silence was announced by air raid sirens at 11am (1800 AEST) and official ceremonies were scheduled at dozens of military cemeteries and memorials. (more…)

Glorious weekend / Thousands hear the Word of God through Christian Radio in QLD

We thank and praise our mighty Saviour for opening the door for Pastor Daniel to speak on Radio Rhema in the Sunshine Coast QLD for more than 2 ½ hours on Saturday night. God used this radio broadcast to challenge thousands of Christians and non-Christians across Queensland. Many attended the meetings at the church where he was ministering on Sunday as a result of the broadcast.

Pastor Daniel stated, “I have done so many media interviews, but this was possibly the best one I have ever done, as I had the opportunity to cover many areas in depth to help people understand the name of Jesus and also clear any misconceptions they had regarding myself and CTFM.   I was so thrilled to hear all the positive feedback from many people over the last few days following the broadcast.”

One lady on Sunday came to the meeting with her mother and daughter.  She was driving her car after work on Saturday night, when she suddenly tuned into the radio station.   She said, “I just was so mightily touched.  I started sobbing and crying in the car and could hardly drive.  We have not been to church for 20 years.  We decided to come to church today and have been tremendously blessed.”

I thank my Lord and Saviour every day for the young man who was once a Satanist, but was born again after the spiritual warfare prayer operation on Mount Ainslie in Canberra last October 2009.

 

This proves that God loves every single person, no matter who they are or what they have done, He will still forgive them of all their sin as He died for us all  (John 3:16).
 
I am sure you have all heard about this young man who was very angry and hostile towards us on Mount Ainslie last year in October 2009 when we carried out a major spiritual warfare prayer assault against Satan and his demonic powers of darkness over our capital city of Canberra and nation of Australia.  This young man at that point was a Satanist and led the anti-God mob against us right through the whole prayer operation.
 
Glory to God for miraculously opening the door for me to communicate via email with this young man, named Steve, who sometime in February this year 2010 gave his life to Jesus! I know many of you have being praying for him and I thank you so much for doing so.
 
In April during the revival meetings in Canberra, I along with my friend Pastor Glenn, met up with Steve at his home. This was the first time that I met him after he became a born-again Christian. I spent around 1 hour 10 minutes with him and oh how wonderful it was to sit next to a guy who was formerly on the other side (the dark side with Satan) and now we were both on the same side (in the light with Jesus)!

Special message to all Mothers from Pr Daniel

Happy Mother\'s DayDear Mothers all over the World,

I want to first thank my mother for praying me into the Kingdom of God. She is now in her late 70’s and is a mighty prayer warrior for Jesus. I look forward to seeing her next month in Sri Lanka.

I also want to thank my beautiful wife for being such a great mum to our children. I thank God everyday for her.

I also want to thank all you wonderful mums for your prayers, faithfulness, and all the hard work you put in as a mum’s work never ends. It seems like a mum starts her work early in the morning and go on all day until its very late and time for bed. Very often we forget to see all the pain and suffering that many mums are going through. I know many Dads go through the same, but this is Mother’s Day.

So we just want to say “WE LOVE YOU MUMS, YOU ARE SO SPECIAL!”

May God bless you abundantly and give you the desires of your heart!

1) For those of you in the Melbourne area, the Rise Up Australia prayer meeting begins at 7:30pm tonight Friday 7th May followed by an all night prayer meeting until 6am on Saturday morning. Come join prayer warriors from many denominations and churches across Melbourne as we unite as the Body of Christ to prayerfully seek the Lord for Australia’s revival and transformation in this Great South Land of the Holy Spirit!

 Invited or not, I’ll stand in front of the Pentagon and pray.
 
Even if President Obama fails to intervene to allow him to lead a National Day of Prayer event at the Pentagon Thursday, Franklin Graham will still be there— praying for the U.S. military and his own son who is serving in Afghanistan.

The Pentagon had invited the National Day of Prayer Task Force, of which Graham is 2010 honorary chairman, to lead an official prayer service on site, but later rescinded its invitation after various groups protested.

Graham told USA TODAY that when President Obama visited his father, Billy, last month, the younger Graham asked the president to intercede with the Pentagon to restore his invitation. He said Obama replied that he would “look into it.”

Invitation or not, Graham vows to pray for the military tomorrow. He also will be leading prayer at the national observance in the Canon Office Building, and a later event on the steps of the U.S. Capitol.
