SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA (ANS) — It was during a live show being broadcast in Arabic from Alkarma TV’s studios in Southern California, when a phone call came in from the Middle East in which the man on the line made a startling confession.

“I used to blow up churches and now I want to pray to receive Jesus Christ as my Savior,” he said.

Soon, he was praying the “Sinner’s Prayer” with one of the volunteers with this unique Christian television station which broadcasts the Good News of Jesus Christ 24/7, including six hours live to the Middle East via The Healing Channel.

Terror Arrests and the “Misunderstood” Religion

Tarek MehannaPosted by Nonie Darwish on Oct 22nd, 2009 and filed under FrontPage

Today we have yet another terror-related arrest of a Muslim, Tarek Mehanna, who was plotting jihad terror attacks against U.S. shopping malls. But Americans are told to never link that to Islamic teachings.
Committed Muslims insist that Islam is misunderstood by the West.

Sensitivity training to Islam is forced upon U.S. government employees and teachers. They are told that Islam has nothing to do with terrorism, implying that if they believe their eyes, ears and common sense, then they must be Islamophobes.

Muslim propaganda is cleverly wrapped in illogical strategies to get the Westerners confused about their own perceptions of Islam. For centuries Muslims lived with unchallenged, warped logic regarding their religion. Instead of examining non-Muslim fear of Muslim violence and oppression encouraged by Muslim scriptures, Muslims are trained to regard such complaints as an attack Islam itself. (more…)

YONGGI CHO’S FINAL SERMON? (Reflections on the Weasel Talk, Twigs and Twits Tragedy)

Written by Dr Robert McQuillan of Life Focus, (former AOG National Publications Director in Australia)

We were disgusted recently to learn of some pastors referring to seniors – senior ministries and parents – as ‘twigs.’ Some young people were even being advised not to listen to their parents because they’re past it, don’t know what they’re talking about. As for ‘older’ ministers, they too are over the hill, not with it and passed their ‘use by’ date!

This is ’weasel talk’ (unjustifiable, unprovable statements)! It is not only discourteous but a seriously wrong presumption and a gross ignoring of the need in these troubled days not to forsake the wisdom of the ‘elders – the experienced fathers and mothers – in Israel.’ (more…)

America as the last man standing / ‘In a generation or two, the US will ask itself: who lost Europe?’

Geert Wilders is a Dutch Member of ParliamentHere is the speech of Geert Wilders, Chairman, Party for Freedom, the Netherlands, at the Four Seasons, New York, introducing an Alliance of Patriots and announcing the Facing Jihad Conference in Jerusalem.

Dear friends,

Thank you very much for inviting me.

I come to America with a mission.  All is not well in the old world.  There is a tremendous danger looming, and it is very difficult to be optimistic.  We might be in the final stages of the Islamization of Europe.  This not only is a clear and present danger to the future of Europe itself, it is a threat to America and the sheer survival of the West.  The United States as the last bastion of Western civilization, facing an Islamic Europe.

First I will describe the situation on the ground in Europe.  Then, I will say a few things about Islam.  To close I will tell you about a meeting in Jerusalem.

The Europe you know is changing. (more…)

One World Government is almost here! Lord Monckton of British House of Lords on Youtube video and 2GB radio interview with Allan Jones

Dear family & friends in Christ,

Following are two links with very important information regarding a One World Government soon to be officially recognized by all nations in December of this year 2009!

These very alarming interviews are a MUST watch and listen for all who believe that end-time biblical prophecy is being fulfilled like never before! (Psalm 2, Revelation 13 & 17)

Pastor Daniel very clearly warned before the last political election against voting for a left-wing secular government in America and Australia.  Both nations, and many nations for that matter, are presently  reaping what they have sown, and sooner than most of us thought!  (Galatians 6:7-8) (more…)

In December 2004, pastors Daniel Scot and Daniel Nalliah of the evangelical group Catch the Fire Ministries (CTFM) were found guilty by an Australian judge of religious vilification for criticizing Islam in the course of a religious seminar and were ordered to publicly disavow their beliefs. Four and a half years after the lawsuit was brought, the pastors ultimately prevailed in the courts. Pastor Scot, who had grown up in Pakistan and fled the country after being accused there of the capital crime of blasphemy, remarked that religious vilification statutes like that under which he had been convicted in Australia were “blasphemy laws in disguise” and “sharia by stealth.” (more…)

Clergy Oppose Human Rights Charter!

A delegation of about 20 Australian church leaders met with federal Attorney General Robert McClelland on Wednesday to tell him they oppose a national Charter of Rights.

The delegation included representatives of Catholic, Presbyterian, Baptist and Pentecostal churches.

A report in The Australian said they warned “the Rudd government it could curtail religious freedoms and give judges the power to shape laws on issues such as abortion and gay marriage”.

The delegation was led by Catholic Cardinal George Pell.

Sydney’s Anglican Archbishop Peter Jensen told the paper he could not attend but “staunchly backed the delegation’s views”.

You Mustn’t Mention God… Council Bans Church From Putting Up Notices About Its Meetings

Roman Catholic Our Lady of Christians parish church in CamdenBy Daily Mail Reporter on 16th September 2009

A Christian campaign group has been banned from pinning up notices about its meetings in libraries or community centres.

The activists were told their posters advertising talks about climate change could not be shown in public because they mentioned Christianity and God.

Officials declared that the flyers for a talk on ‘climate change is a Christian issue’ and and another by a spokesman for the Christian Ecology Link were in conflict with town hall policy against the promotion of religious ideas. (more…)

Ethiopian Convert Remains Jailed For Handing Out Bibles

Wednesday, 16 September 2009 01:45 PM EDT Simba Tian / Compass Direct News News

A convert from Islam who has led a push for Muslim-Christian understanding in Ethiopia has been in jail for nearly four months since his arrest for “malicious” distribution of Bibles.

Christian sources in Ethiopia said that, contrary to Ethiopian law, 39-year-old Bashir Musa Ahmed has not been formally charged since his arrest on May 23 in Jijiga, capital of Somali Region Zone Five, a predominantly Muslim area in eastern Ethiopia. Zonal police arrested him after he was accused of providing Muslims with Somali-language Bibles bearing covers that resemble the Quran, the sources said.

An Ethiopian national, Ahmed is known as a bold preacher of Christianity and is credited with opening discussion of the two faiths between Christian and Muslim leaders. He is well-known in the area as a scholar of Islam, but his case has gone largely unreported in Ethiopia. (more…)

Turnout At Muslim Rally Lower Than Expected

White House in Washington D.C.Tuesday, 29 September 2009 01:54 PM EDT Adrienne S. Gaines

A Muslim prayer rally on Capitol Hill Friday drew between 3,000 and 5,000 participants, a figure well below the 50,000 organizers hoped to attract.

Among those gathered were several dozen protestors. Some stood at the rear of the crowd holding Bibles and praying. Others yelled “repent” from across the street, where they gathered with banners and crosses, the Washington Post reported.
