Dear friends and family in Christ,

1) Below is an important article from Kirsten Jack regarding ‘Undeniable’ this Sun 15th 7:30pm at Federation Square in Melbourne for your prayer and participation if possible.

Let’s unite as the Body of Christ in Melbourne to publicly proclaim that God is real, alive and well, and that Jesus is King of kings and LORD of lords!

 2) Also for those of you in the Melbourne area, please note that our 9:30am and 6:30pm weekly worship services are on as usual this Sunday 15th April at CTFM Apostolic Centre, 23 Melverton Dr Hallam.

Dear Friend,  I love God with all my heart. He is faithful, loving and powerful. But the Global Atheist Convention is coming to Melbourne in less than two weeks and they intend to make a mockery of our God. I don’t know about you, but I’m not OK with this!

There comes a point when something has to be done and it needs to be done loud!

Two men I know are making a public and loud stand – Pastor Dennis Prince and comedian Ben Price. (more…)

Glorious Resurrection weekend / RUA Party ready for action in Tasmania

Tasmanian RUA State TeamParticipants in the play enjoying fellowshipDear family & friends in Christ,

We thank and praise God for the Easter Resurrection weekend, where we all came together to worship and thank Him for His great gift and sacrifice to mankind, Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior! It was very encouraging to see the TV News coverage of this weekend, and to hear news reporters say that more people were at church this year than in past years. This is great news, because more Aussies are beginning to feel the need for God in their lives.

Many gathered over the weekend at the CTFM base in Melbourne for the Good Friday service, then on Saturday for a Passover meal and on Sunday for the Resurrection service. All were remembering what happened 2000 years ago and giving glory to God, Hallelujah!

On Saturday the Passover meal and drama was organised and directed by sister Jill Curry and a team from CTFM. This was a remarkable night, as people were taken back to the time of Jesus and the Jewish culture. It was also so good to learn the significance of the Passover meal for today. All tickets were sold out, as many with a heart and love for Israel gathered to celebrate this event. The drama was well presented, giving great insight into the journey the people of Israel took from bondage to the promised land, plus the play of Hinds Feet on High Places beautifully portrayed our journey as Christians from fear to maturity and victory in Christ.

On Resurrection Sunday Pr Daniel spoke on the ’15 reasons to celebrate Resurrection weekend’. People were mightily challenged and blessed through the message. You can buy the CD or DVD by calling CTFM office on Mondays or Thursdays or emailing Angelene@reformationharvestfire.com. (more…)

Palestinian Christians Focus on Peace, Not End Times Prophecy, at ‘Checkpoint’ Conference

By Stoyan Zaimov , Christian Post Reporter – March 15, 2012

A conference held last week in Bethlehem between March 5-9 brought together more than 600 international and local Christians to discuss the future of Palestinian Christians and the ongoing Middle East conflict.

“Christ at the Checkpoint” addressed how to keep hope and faith in Christ amid the Israeli-Palestinian crisis, and discussed biblical ways of viewing the issues that have historically divided the two communities. It was hosted by Bethlehem Bible College, an organization of Palestinian Evangelical Christians.

Although a lot has been written in recent times comparing the current Middle East situation to prophecies highlighted in the Bible, the conference leaders wanted to steer the discussion away from End Times talk and encourage the evangelical community to join Palestinians in following Jesus in the prophetic pursuance of justice, peace and reconciliation.

Some of the other goals of the conference included seeking ways to empower and encourage the Palestinian church; expose the realities of the injustices in the Palestinian territories and create awareness of the obstacles to reconciliation and peace; create a platform for engagement with Christian Zionism and motivate participants to become advocates for the reconciliation work of the church and its ramifications for the Middle East and the world. The Historical Reality of the Muslim Conquests

Catholic Lane ^ | March 3, 2012 | Raymond Ibrahim

Because it is now almost axiomatic for American school textbooks to whitewash all things Islamic (see here for example), it may be useful to examine one of those aspects that are regularly distorted: the Muslim conquests.

Few events of history are so well documented and attested to as are these conquests, which commenced soon after the death of the Muslim prophet Muhammad (632) and tapered off circa 750. Large swathes of the Old World—from the India in the east, to Spain in the west—were conquered and consolidated by the sword of Islam during this time.

By the standards of history, the reality of these conquests is unassailable, for history proper concerns itself with primary sources; and the Islamic conquests are thoroughly documented. More importantly, the overwhelming majority of primary source materials we rely on do not come from non-Muslims, who might be accused of bias. Rather, the foremost historians bequeathing to posterity thousands of pages of source materials documenting the Islamic conquests were not only Muslims themselves; they were—and still are—regarded by today’s Muslims as pious and trustworthy scholars (generically, the ulema).

Among the most authoritative books devoted to recounting the conquests are: Ibn Ishaq’s (d. 767) Sira (“Life of Muhammad”), the oldest biography of Muhammad; Waqidi’s (d. circa. 820) Maghazi (“Military Campaigns [of the Prophet]“); Baladhuri’s (d. 892) Futuh al-Buldan (“Conquests of the Nations”); and Tabari’s (d.923) multi-volume Tarikh al-Rusul wa al-Muluk, (“History of Prophets and Kings”), which is 40 volumes in the English translation. Jewish Extremists Threaten Christians, Muslims at Jerusalem Peace School

The Christian Post – Middle East – Monday, Feb 13, 2012

Vandals Reportedly Write ‘Death to Christians,’ ‘Holocaust for Arabs’ at Two Faith Sites

Both a Christian monastery and a peace school in Jerusalem set up to improve ties between Arab and Jewish children were targets of extremists who wrote hate speech on the facilities’ walls in separate incidents last week, calling for the death of Christians and a “holocaust” for Arabs.

“Death to Christians” was written at a Jerusalem Christian monastery, an 11th-century holy site situated in a valley overlooking the Israeli parliament, while “Death to Arabs” and “Shoah [Holocaust] for the Arabs” was spray painted at a bilingual children’s school. Police are still investigating to determine whether the attacks were carried out by the same group of people, but all evidence points to Jewish extremists.

“Kahane was right” was another inscription found on the walls at the school, U.K. publication the Independent reported. The inscription is reportedly a reference to an ultra-right wing rabbi whose movement, Kach, was barred from contesting Israeli elections in 1988 and listed by the US State Department as a terrorist organization in 2002. RUA PARTY MEDIA RELEASE: BENGHAZI WAR GRAVES DESCECRATED – ARE THESE THE SO CALLED DEMOCRATIC FREEDOM FIGHTERS?

RUA PARTY MEDIA RELEASE  6 March 2012

BENGHAZI WAR GRAVES DESCECRATED – ARE THESE THE SO CALLED DEMOCRATIC FREEDOM FIGHTERS?

The Federal Government this morning confirmed that the graves of Australian soldiers who fought and died for freedom in on Libyan soil were among the 198 which were desecrated at the Benghazi War Cemetery recently. These were Aussies who fought heavy battles against the Germans and Italians to halt the aggressive march of the Nazis in World War 11.

The armed men, believed to be either Wahhabists or Salifists Islamists, had the audacity to post a video clip of their rampage on You tube, in which they could be heard saying “This one is a Christian”…  “These are dogs” and “Allahu Akbar” (God is greater) as they kicked down and desecrated the headstones of fallen soldiers.

There are reports that these despicable actions are in response to the burning of a Koran by US troops in Afghanistan.  This caused Rise Up Australia President Daniel Nalliah to ask in Melbourne today “Are These The So Called Islamic Democratic Freedom Fighters? Why do Islamists attack and insult the memory of those who have fought for their freedom?”

Glorious weekend of Salvations & Deliverance in QLD / Appointment of RUA Party State Executive in QLD / Sunday 11th March Webcast of Pr Daniel ministering at CTFM

Dear Family & Friends in Christ,

1) Praise the Lord for an absolutely awesome weekend of Kingdom action in QLD where many people from so many churches and denominations came together to hear the Word of God, with some people traveling up to 4 hours to join the Holy Spirit revival meetings!

Almost everyone present was touched mightily by the powerful presence of the Holy Spirit and the living Word of God!

The church in Kingaroy, led by Pr Lyle and his wife Anthea, had been on a 21 day fast leading up to the meetings. So glory to God, there was a lot of fuel ready for the match to be struck as it was a weekend filled with the Holy Ghost and Fire!

Many were set free from Freemasonry curses as the power of God swept through the place!

One lady who was demon possessed received deliverance in front of the whole congregation, vomited and coughed as the demons left her body. Others in the meeting were jumping for joy as the presence of God was so awesome. A young man who, was into drugs, and his friend gave their lives to Jesus. This was so fantastic, as that was his first time in church. He told Pr Daniel,  “I really did not want to come today as I am leaving to the Gold Coast, but I will put back my trip and come for the service tomorrow too.”

Pr Daniel prayed for another young lady who was mightily touched by God and she too gave her life to Jesus. This young lady seemed very downcast and sad, but after she gave her life to Jesus and was prayed for, she just lit up. The next day she said, “A heavy weight has lifted off my shoulders and I feel so good.”

Christians have no right to wear cross at work, says Government

By David Barrett, Home Affairs Correspondent – 10 Mar 2012

Christians do not have a right to wear a cross or crucifix openly at work, the Government is to argue in a landmark court case.

The Government has refused to say that Christians have a right to display the symbol of their faith at work Photo: PA

In a highly significant move, ministers will fight a case at the European Court of Human Rights in which two British women will seek to establish their right to display the cross.

It is the first time that the Government has been forced to state whether it backs the right of Christians to wear the symbol at work.

A document seen by The Sunday Telegraph discloses that ministers will argue that because it is not a “requirement” of the Christian faith, employers can ban the wearing of the cross and sack workers who insist on doing so. (more…)

Is Britain waking Up? / Coalition Government to Restore Freedom of Speech in Australia / Pastor Daniel in QLD this Sat 3rd & Sun 4th March

Dear friends and family in Christ,

1) Following is a very encouraging article titled, ‘Britain Launches War on Multiculturalism’ by Soeren Kern on February 24, 2012 .

“We have even tolerated these segregated communities behaving in ways that run completely counter to our values. … I believe a genuinely liberal country… believes in certain values and actively promotes them.” — David Cameron

The British government has unveiled a new “integration strategy” designed to “champion a united British identity.” The new policy will require immigrants seeking admission to live in the United Kingdom to learn English and adhere to “mainstream” British culture and values such as democracy and the rule of law.  Click the following link to keep reading.

‘We need community cohesion’: Ministers’ pledge to end era of multiculturalism by appealing to ‘sense of British identity’

By Charles Walford of MailOnline – 21st February 2012

The English language and Christian faith will be restored to the centre of public life, ministers pledged today.

Communities Secretary Eric Pickles heralded the end of state-sponsored multiculturalism by vowing to stand up for ‘mainstream’ values by strengthening national identity.

He said the government will celebrate what people in England have in common, rather than what divides them.

And he called for local communities to use events such as the Big Lunch or the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee and inter-faith activities to bring together people of different backgrounds.

Mr Pickles said there will be a strategy on community cohesion and integration which calls for people to come together around shared values.

He accused the previous Labour administration, and its equalities minister Harriet Harman, of taking the country down ‘the wrong path’ by encouraging different communities to live separate lives.

Migrants will be required to speak English, the number of official documents translated into other languages will be reduced and councils will be allowed to hold prayers at the start of meetings.

New education standards will bar schools from teaching which ‘undermines fundamental British values’, said today’s document from his Department for Communities and Local Government

But he also confirmed his commitment to tolerance, insisting that the Government will remain vigilant to hate crimes directed at Muslims and Jews. (more…)

Nigeria needs help if it is to crush Boko Haram

by Julian Mann – Friday, January 6, 2012

It would be better for Nigeria, and indeed the West, if Christianity wins against Islamic extremism

When Nigeria’s Islamist terror was confined to its northern states, politically correct Western opinion was able to get away with spinning the violence as six of one and half a dozen of the other.

An outrage in Jos, for example, would be put down to ‘religious tensions’ between the Muslim and Christian communities. It was almost as if elements in the Western media were desperate for stories of Christians behaving badly.

But the politically correct spin is now becoming increasingly untenable following Islamist terror group Boko Haram’s Christmas Day attack on St Theresa’s Roman Catholic Church in central Nigeria, close to the federal capital, Abuja. It is now becoming clear that the group is moving its terror south.

And the closer the group takes its terror to Lagos, the more open US and UK opinion becomes to the view Nigeria’s Christian president Dr Goodluck Jonathan is keen to promote that Boko Haram represents a threat to Western interests.

Dr Jonathan faces massive internal political hurdles in his stated aim to ‘crush Boko Haram’. He needs Western help, particularly from US and UK intelligence agencies. The State of Emergency he announced on New Year’s Eve, including the closure of Nigeria’s borders with Niger, Cameroon and Chad, is welcomed by the Christian community but Christians know that the long-term security of the nation they love depends on co-ordinated and united action by the various arms of government.
