The Victorian Legislative Council is due to debate the Abortion Law Reform Bill next week (7-9 Oct).
There are several important items we need to highlight.

Thousands of Pro-Life supporters marched through the streets of Melbourne, packing the steps of Parliament, to stand against this evil bill which will kill the next generation of Aussie’s!

Now, the Government have responded. The Abortion Law Reform Bill 2008 was tabled on the 19th August. It will be debated in the Parliament from the 9th September. (more…)

Forced sterilisation of the unfit? Euthanasia? Slaying of the first-born?

Abortion survivor testifies: “The abortionist signed my birth certificate. My life is not defined by abortion. I am not a victim, I am a victor.”
(San Francisco)—25,000 participants attended the Walk for Life West, an event attached to Martin Luther King Jr. celebrations on Sunday.
Those who participated in the walk for life bore signs and banners that read “Abortion Hurts Women” and “Women Deserve Better.” Eight California Catholic bishops were on hand to support the event. An estimated 250 pro-abortion advocates came to counter-protest the police-guarded march.
Gianna Jessen, who developed cerebral palsy as an infant after an attempted saline abortion in Los Angeles, gave an address to the crowds at the rally before the march.
“I was aborted and did not die,” she said. “I will limp my way into heaven.”

Many of you will have already heard the breaking news regarding the battle for life in Victoria; that is that Candy Broad’s bill to 
decriminalise abortion has been withdrawn!
Instead, the new Premier of Victoria John Brumby has commissioned a group to research the issue more thoroughly and is expected to propose another bill in March 2008. He intends for abortion to be decriminalised in Victoria, but with similar restrictions as under the Menhennit ruling of 1969 (which permits abortion only if deemed necessary for the woman’s life or health).
This is both great news and a sobering alert on several levels! (more…)

1)What an amazing article by Andrew Bolt! If you didn’t read it in the Herald Sun Newspaper on the 25th July, the article is below for your reference. This self proclaimed agnostic journalist, who insists he is not a Christian, put to shame many of our so called Christian Leaders who say nothing for issues such as this due to political correctness.
Isn’t it shocking that some Christian Leaders are planning to support the Decriminalization of Abortion Bill because they believe that they cannot stop it! Instead they plan to call for amendments to the bill… (more…)
Please activate in prayer and action. Contact your local politician to lobby against this Bill, which could mean babies can be aborted until birth. We really must stop this destructive law from its journey through Parliament.
