BREAKING: You Won’t Believe Who Owned the Crane That Collapsed in Mecca on 9/11 Anniversary

By Gina Cassini of Top Right News on September 12, 2015

Earlier today we reported on the stunning crane collapse on the Grand Mosque in Mecca, Saudi Arabia, killing 107 Muslims and injuring hundreds, on the anniversary of 9/11.

The catastrophe was caught on video. The crane was hit by lightning…

The stunning and disastrous lightning strike right on that spot led many on Twitter to compare it to another heavenly light — yesterday’s spectacular rainbow from the site of the World Trade Center in NYC:

Well the “karma” angle just got even crazier, according to the DailyMail:

The crane was owned by the Bin Laden family.

The crane belongs to a crane company operated by the Bin Laden family’s consortium, who are heading the expansion of the Holy Mosque.

Nothing has changed in 25 years to ease my concerns about Islam

Sunday 13 September 2015 – By Charles Moore

Viktor Orbán is the prime minister of Hungary. It is through his country that very large numbers of migrants from the Middle East and the Balkans now pass. At the beginning of this month, Mr Orbán said: “I think we have a right to decide that we don’t want to have a large number of Muslim people in our country.”

Mr Orbán was fiercely attacked for the motives behind his remark. I do not know enough about Hungarian politics to say whether such attacks are justified. But, regardless of the precise facts about Mr Orbán, I would guess most people in western – let alone eastern – Europe would quietly agree with his general proposition. One of the biggest anxieties about the current immigration is its high Muslim element. Is it wrong to have such an anxiety, let alone to express it publicly, let alone to want to have a system of immigration based on it?

I don’t find these easy questions to answer. Nearly 25 years ago, I wrote an article for which many people, including some I respected, criticised me. In it, I argued that difference of religion often made immigration more difficult, and that this was particularly so in the case of Islam. The piece was written not long after the first Gulf war. I mentioned our Muslim next-door neighbours (we then lived in London). I wrote that they seemed nice people, but that when, during the war, I could hear them praying through the wall, I felt uneasy.

Former Archbishop of Canterbury warns against ‘Muslim mass immigration to Europe’

September 8, 2015 – by Ralph Sidway

“The frustration for those of us who have been calling for compassion for Syrian victims for many months is that the Christian community is yet again left at the bottom of the heap… Britain should make Syrian Christians a priority…”

One of the rare voices of sanity in Europe’s Migrant Crisis, Lord Carey tempers compassion with a “clear-headed” appraisal of the risks of Muslim mass immigration, calls for “renewed military and diplomatic efforts to crush the twin menaces of Islamic State and al-Qaeda once and for all.”

“Britain Has a Duty to Rescue Syria’s Christians,” by George Carey, the Telegraph via AINA, September 6, 2015.

Lord Carey: ‘compassion must be realistic and clear-headed.’

Is Europe Losing Control Over Its Destiny?

by Soeren Kern – September 13, 2015

The move by unelected bureaucrats in Brussels to force European countries to throw open their borders — and to require them to provide migrants with free clothing, food, housing and healthcare for an indefinite period of time — not only represents an audacious usurpation of national sovereignty, it is also certain to encourage millions of additional migrants from the Muslim world to begin making their way to Europe.

“We are not facing a refugee crisis, we are facing a migration crisis… Let us not forget that those arriving have been raised in another religion, and represent a radically different culture. Most of them are not Christians, but Muslims. This is an important question, because Europe and European identity is rooted in Christianity. Is it not worrying in itself that European Christianity is now barely able to keep Europe Christian? If we lose sight of this, the idea of Europe could become a minority interest in its own continent.” — Prime Minister Viktor Orbán of Hungary.

With or Without Deal, Iran Still Wishes Death to ‘Great Satan’ America

September 02, 2015 – CBN News

As Iran hardliners continue to chant “death to America,” President Barack Obama is on the verge of getting congressional approval for his controversial Iranian nuclear agreement.

Support from Sens. Chris Coons, D-Del., and Bob Case, D-Pa., means the president is one vote away from clinching victory in the Senate.

Despite furious opposition, 33 senators have now backed the deal. The president needs 34 to uphold his veto of a Republican measure disproving the agreement. Congress has till September 17 to vote for or against it.

At the State Department, officials continued to stress Obama’s statement that the U.S. would impose further sanctions should Iran change its behavior toward the deal — and that it prevents Iran from becoming a nuclear power.

‘Religion of peace’ is not a harmless platitude

17 January 2015 – Douglas Murray– The Spectator

The West’s movement towards the truth is remarkably slow. We drag ourselves towards it painfully, inch by inch, after each bloody Islamist assault.

In France, Britain, Germany, America and nearly every other country in the world it remains government policy to say that any and all attacks carried out in the name of Mohammed have ‘nothing to do with Islam’. It was said by George W. Bush after 9/11, Tony Blair after 7/7 and Tony Abbott after the Sydney attack last month. It is what David Cameron said after two British extremists cut off the head of Drummer Lee Rigby in London, when ‘Jihadi John’ cut off the head of aid worker Alan Henning in the ‘Islamic State’ and when Islamic extremists attacked a Kenyan mall, separated the Muslims from the Christians and shot the latter in the head. And, of course, it is what President François Hollande said after the massacre of journalists and Jews in Paris last week.

All these leaders are wrong. In private, they and their senior advisers often concede that they are telling a lie. The most sympathetic explanation is that they are telling a ‘noble lie’, provoked by a fear that we — the general public — are a lynch mob in waiting. ‘Noble’ or not, this lie is a mistake. First, because the general public do not rely on politicians for their information and can perfectly well read articles and books about Islam for themselves. Secondly, because the lie helps no one understand the threat we face. Thirdly, because it takes any heat off Muslims to deal with the bad traditions in their own religion. And fourthly, because unless mainstream politicians address these matters then one day perhaps the public will overtake their politicians to a truly alarming extent.

UK Sharia courts “main aim” to “restrict & deny rights” of women & children

June 15, 2015 By Robert Spencer

What a surprise. “Britain must ban sharia ‘kangaroo courts’, say activists,” by Emma Batha, Reuters, June 15, 2015:

LONDON, June 15 (Thomson Reuters Foundation) – Britain’s new government must abolish Islamic sharia courts, campaigners said on Monday, describing them as “kangaroo courts” that deliver second-rate justice and trample over the rights of women and children.

They called for the government to stick to pre-election promises to hold an inquiry into sharia courts which first appeared in Britain in the mid-1980s.

“Over the years, we have witnessed with increasing alarm the influence of ‘Sharia courts’ over the lives of citizens of Muslim heritage,” nearly 200 women’s rights and secular campaigners said in a statement.

“Though the ‘Sharia courts’ have been touted as people’s right to religion, they are in fact, effective tools of the far-right Islamist movement whose main aim is to restrict and deny rights, particularly those of women and children.”
