World Christian Doctors Will ‘Vote For Miracles’ during Unique Conference in Brisbane, Australia June 11-12

(Brisbane, Australia )—Christian doctors and medical professionals will be flooding into Brisbane, Australia, a city that earlier this year was itself devastated by floods, for a unique conference called “Spirituality and Medicine.”

The World Christian Doctors Network (WCDN) has announced details of its 8th Annual International Conference to be held at the Brisbane Convention and Exhibition Centre from June 11-12, 2011. (WCDN is an interdenominational organization composed of Christian medical professionals from around the world who believe in divine healing.)

“WCDN wants to motivate Christian medical professionals to reflect the love of Jesus Christ and to be a witness for Him in their professional life,” said a spokesperson for the organization.

He went on to say, “Two thirds of medical schools in the US, including Harvard and Johns Hopkins, offer courses on spirituality and faith in their curriculums, largely because patients are demanding more spiritual care. According to a Newsweek poll, 84% of Americans said that praying for others can have a positive effect on their recovery.”

(Beijing, China)—In a historic move, clergy from dozens of mainland Chinese house churches are petitioning China’s legislature to guarantee freedom of religion and to peacefully resolve the recent church-state conflict involving one of the largest house churches in the capital, ChinaAid learned on Sunday.

This is the first such move in 60 years of Communist rule of China and represents a further emboldening of the house church movement, which for decades was active only in the countryside, meeting in small groups in private homes and careful to maintain a low profile to avoid attracting government attention to the illegal gatherings.

I’ve been in Washington D.C. for the past few days to give you an inside “behind the scenes” look at what’s going on and to tell you the truth no one else will. What the media is telling you is incomplete and often completely misleading. A declaration of Palestinian statehood would not be merely a symbolic act at the UN. Israeli defense minister Ehud Barak warned his compatriots that a pro-Palestinian, diplomatic tsunami was about to crest. Presently the Palestinians have observer status at the UN, as do the Vatican and the EU. The desire to be a sovereign member is not a pipe dream.

Last year President Obama declared that he hoped the Palestinian state could be admitted to the United Nations by the time world leaders gathered in September in New York City for the annual General Assembly session. A request for membership requires a two-thirds majority to be approved. Today that would mean 128 votes from 192 member states. Presently 112 countries have recognized a sovereign Palestinian state with acceptance to come from more in the next few months provoked by Prime Minister Netanyahu’s response to President Obama’s bold declaration.

The president knows that he could push it through the Security Council, or if the U.S. abstained, it would be passed. President Obama was quite clever when he met with Mr. Netanyahu when he said, “Symbolic actions to isolate Israel at the United Nations in September won’t create an independent state.” In terms of UN membership, he is correct. Chapter two, article 4 of the UN Charter says, “The admission of any such state to membership in the United Nations will be affected by a decision of the General Assembly upon the recommendation of the Security Council.”

The highlight of my trip to Washington to defend Israel as your Ambassador was this morning as I watched my friend of thirty years, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, address a special joint session of Congress. It was a powerful and amazing speech, and it effectively laid out the case for America to stand with Israel in opposition to the UN plan to unilaterally declare a Palestinian state. Everyone soaked in the manifest presence of God as some wept, some shouted for joy, some travailed under the anointing, some were healed, some were set free from demonic bondages, some surrendered their lives to Jesus, and many others were mightily touched by the Holy Spirit when Pr Daniel laid hands and prayed over them.

What will Harold Camping’s excuse be this time?

OAKLAND, CA (ANS) — For a second time in his lifetime, and with no sign of Judgment Day arriving today (Saturday, May 21, 2011) as forecasted by 89-year-old broadcaster, Harold Camping, his followers are now faced with trying to make sense of his latest failed pronouncement.

The head of an Oakland-based network that broadcasts on over 66 U.S stations and through international affiliates now has some explaining to do to the supporters who helped him post at least 2,000 billboard across America and in many other countries warning of the Day of Judgment.

Gabrielle Saveri, in a story for Reuters, said: “Harold Camping, the former civil engineer who heads the Family Radio Network of Christian stations, had been unwavering in his message that believers would be swept to heaven on May 21.”

She went on to say that in New York, retired transportation agency worker Robert Fitzpatrick was inspired by Camping’s message to spend over $140,000 of his savings on subway posters and outdoor advertisements warning of the May 21 Judgment Day.

“As he stood in Times Square in New York surrounded by onlookers, Fitzpatrick, 60, carried a Bible and handed out leaflets as he waited for Judgment Day to begin,” she continued.

“By his own reading of Bible, which was slightly different than Camping’s, Fitzgerald expected the great worldwide event to begin at 6 p.m. Eastern Time.”

She added that when the hour came and went, he said: “I do not understand why …,” as his speech broke off and he looked at his watch.

“I do not understand why nothing has happened.”

Arizona Judge Roland Steinle has just sentenced Faleh Almaleki to 34½ years in prison. According to live reporting from the courtroom, the judge noted that Almaleki showed no remorse after the murder, that he did not forgive his daughter, that he did what suited his own purpose.

The judge also said this was the hardest case he had to face in his six years on the bench. He found no mitigating factors and sentenced Almaleki to 34 and 1/2 years: 15 years for the aggravated assault of Khalaf, 3 and 1/2 years for leaving the scene of an accident, and 16 years for the second-degree murder of his daughter. He was facing a maximum total of 46 years.

Thus, today we have witnessed Iraqi-American Faleh Almaleki being sentenced in Phoenix, Arizona for having honor murdered his 20-year-old daughter Noor and for having attempted to murder Amal Khalaf, the woman who was trying to protect her. In October of 2009, he followed the daughter, whom he had tormented all her life, to a shopping mall, lurked outside, then boldly ran over her precious, lovely body with a two-ton Cherokee jeep.

Al-Qaida revenge attacks to have ‘devastating effect’

The death of Osama bin Laden will bring a “new era of jihad,” predicted British extremist cleric Anjem Choudary.

Warning there are motivated jihadists “in the heart of America,” Choudary said al-Qaida will likely carry out revenge operations with “meticulous accuracy” and “devastating affect” comparable to that of the 9/11 attacks.

Choudary is the founder and former chief of two Islamic groups disbanded by the British authorities under anti-terror legislation.

Speaking today in an interview with “Aaron Klein Investigative Radio” of New York’s WABC Radio, Choudary said that while bin Laden was a “lion of Islam … there are many lions waiting to take his place.”

“I do believe that the death of Sheikh Osama will bring in a new era of jihad,” Choudary told Klein.

Atheist Who Went to Hell and Was Saved Gives Riveting Testimony

“Hell is a real place. Hell was never intended for us; God doesn’t want any one of us to go there. He wants all of us to come to Him through repentance. It’s a simple thing. We believe that Jesus is the son of God and we should have a relationship with Him. It’s important to spend time with Him and get to know His Word. It’s all based on relationship.”

Matthew Botsford—who, today has a ministry called “Seeds of Love”—experienced Hell first-hand during a 27-day coma after his business partner was killed and he was shot in the head.

In an interview by Josephine Vivaldo for The Christian Post, Botsford explains that he was an atheist at the time of the shooting.

Of his experience in Hell, he says: “I immediately was in my full bodily form. I looked like myself but I didn’t have any clothes on and I was hung like crucifixion style in a very deep abyss. All I could see beneath me was very red, it was very hot. I was chained on both my wrists and I had shackles on my ankles. I knew I was in some sort of cavern. It was pitch black. I knew I was going to be there forever. I knew there was nothing I can do to get myself out of it. I didn’t know the name of Jesus so I never prayed, you know ‘Jesus, please save me.'”

“There was this continual mocking,” he added, “this sense of hopelessness, and evil in all sides. There was nothing good there. It was totally void. Even in life, if we are having a bad day we kind of know that something good is around the corner. There was nothing good around the corner.”

What is most interesting is the fact that this organization is supposed to be representing the voice of moderate mainstream Muslims in Australia.

The Australian Government is holding a national inquiry into multiculturalism.  The Australian newspaper yesterday reported that the Australian Federation of Islamic Councils has requested the introduction of Sharia law under the umbrella of multiculuralism (the AFIC submission can be downloaded here: other submissions are available here).  However, Australian Attorney-General, Robert McClelland has stated that:

“Sharia law has no place in the Australian legal system.”

“As our citizenship pledge makes clear, coming to Australia means obeying Australian laws and upholding Australian values.”

Ex-Muslims thank CTFM for sharing the love of Jesus / Healed from Cancer

1) We thank God for His mighty hand and Holy Spirit at work amongst His people across Australia and the Nations of the World!

The weekend gone by was absolutely glorious at CTFM in Hallam, Melbourne. Many received a mighty touch from the Lord, as they waited at the altar soaking in the presence of God in worship. Amongst the people at the altar was a young mum and her mother, who were once Muslims, but are now worshippers of the Lord Jesus Christ.

This young mum was brought to our attention about 18 months ago, when she was only 13 years of age, 3 months pregnant and not sure what she was going to do, as she did not have a father and her family was in great trouble. We were also told that they were all Muslims.

So after we prayed with the leading of the Holy Spirit the family was approached by some of our counselling team from Options + Care (Pregnancy Counselling Division of CTFM). After a few visits the young mum decided to keep the baby and gave birth to a beautiful baby boy in May 2010. Pr Daniel & sister GerSister Geraldine, Baby Shameer, Mother, Grandmother and others at CTFMaldine from O+C visited them in the hospital and dedicated the baby to the Lord Jesus Christ.

Glory to God as now the whole family are born-again Christians!

We celebrated the baby’s 1st birthday this last Sunday at church.  The grandmother shared her amazing testimony and thanked Jesus for giving them a new family at CTFM.

Luis Palau, his son Andrew and their team were met at the airport by a cheering crowd of about 500 people carrying roses.

Luis Palau, his son Andrew and their ministry team have made history this month. They broke a dry spell of permission of foreign evangelists to preach the Gospel openly in Vietnam.

As the team arrived in Ho Chi Minh City on April 5th, they were welcomed by a crowd of about 500, cheering and carrying roses.

Palau was literally “walking by faith” for the festival they had put together to be held in the city, since officials still had not granted them a permit. Finally, only 3 hours before the event was scheduled to start, a permit was given—but for a different location. (more…)

So now we are all finally able to see just why Britain’s capital came to be known contemptuously as ‘Londonistan’.

Some five years ago, I wrote a book by that name which laid out the extent to which Britain had become the global hub of Islamic terrorism outside the Muslim world itself.

So bad was this phenomenon that the French secret service, which had tried in vain to alert Britain to the dangers, dubbed it ‘Londonistan’ in a sarcastic reference to the flow into London of Muslim extremists who had been radicalised in Afghanistan.

Holy Spirit fire falls, demons scream in Mildura, Australia

1) We thank and praise the Lord for another wonderful and very special weekend!

Surely, many mothers were blessed by their families and especially by the Lord over the Mother’s Day weekend!
 
Pr Daniel stated, “We just want to say to all the Mums who did not get a chance to spend time with their families, that we love you heaps. Even though at times your own family may forget about you, Jesus will never forget about you, as He loves you very much. We pray, ‘Oh, Lord please bless every Mum mightily.’”
 
During the last weekend, Pr Daniel ministered in Mildura at the Living Waters Church where the Spirit of God moved mightily in transforming people’s lives at every meeting. Many responded to the altar call and were tremendously blessed. Many people shared testimonies of how their lives were absolutely revolutionized by the power of God!

As the anointing of the Holy Spirit increased at every service and worshippers entered into the presence of God, demons started screaming and several people were set free from demonic bondages!
