CHARIOT WHEELS FOUND IN THE RED SEA

What great faith the Israelites must have had to begin their descent 11 miles down and then back up again to reach the other side of the Great Red Sea.  Can you imagine the feelings they must have had? God always takes care of us but is our faith as strong as theirs must have been?

The Tories [Conservatives) called the archbishop’s remarks “unhelpful” and the Lib Dems said all must abide by the rule of law.

The BBC reported that Dr Rowan Williams said the UK had to “face up to the fact” some citizens do not relate to the British legal system.

He said adopting parts of Islamic Sharia law could help social cohesion. (more…)

He attacked the “glaring absence” of democracy in Muslim countries, suggested that they had contributed little of major significance to world culture for centuries and criticised the Islamic faith. (more…)

Danny of Catch the Fire Ministries who was present at the forum in Canberra, stated, “It was a fantastic event and clearly indicated Prime Minister John Howard’s defined stand for Christian values. On the other hand, I was very unhappy with the side-stepping responses that Opposition Leader Kevin Rudd gave, especially when questioned regarding Labor’s plans for the introduction of federal racial and religious vilification laws.”

We applaud the Australian Christian Lobby for organizing such a history making event!
