Rise Up Australia National President Daniel Nalliah recently stated, “Sunday 22nd June 2014 marked 7 years since we won the court battle for free speech with the Islamic Council of Victoria.
Whilst I was speaking in Katherine & Darwin in the Northern Territory over this past weekend, I decided to organise a public rally for tomorrow, Wednesday 25th June. To be held from 12 to 1pm on the steps of the Victorian State Parliament, in Spring St. Melbourne for taking a stand for Free Speech. We also support the removal of Clause 18C in the Anti-discrimination Act in the Federal Parliament.
May I appeal to all who call Australia home. If you really love your country, please take the time to come and join us at this rally to make our voice heard and take a stand to Keep Australia Australian.
For those of you who live interstate, please encourage your families & friends in Victoria to come along, equipped with Aussie flags. We can make a difference right now so that the next generation can continue to enjoy the freedoms we have.

You know that we never back off at Rise Up Australia Party and are also prepared to take a stand where others won’t. The reason that we started RUAP was because we felt it was time to be a voice to Keep Australia Australian.
I am sure that you will agree with us, that some of the changes we have seen in regard to Multiculturalism and Free Speech (the office of Minister for Multiculturalism abolished / The Immigration Department renamed to Department of Immigration & Border Protection / The Current push to remove Section 18 C for Freedom of Speech) are the result of talks RUAP had with the current government before the last election. No other Party took a stand on these issues in the last election.
Rise Up Australia Party has a good following in Australia, and in Victoria RUAP ranked number 8 out of 39 parties in the last Federal Election. This November it is time to see similar changes made in Victoria as we vote once more for a State Government. It is only with pressure brought on them that any Victorian Government will make the changes that are required.
Rise Up Australia Party will once more be a voice for Judeo / Christian values and we will be advocating for all Victorians. The general public must be told that we at RUAP will stand up against the ‘Up to 9 months’abortion laws, as well as supporting traditional Marriage between one man & one woman.
In order to do this we are asking you to financially partner with us for the rest of this year by pledging whatever you can in order to get these changes put through. No amount is too low, as even an amount of $10 to $100 a month from everyone on our mailing list would allow us to make our presence felt, and also get our message out to all Victorians.

Women in Iran have been posting pictures of themselves after ‘stealthily’ taking their hijabs off in public, in a country where it is illegal for a female to leave the house without wearing a headscarf under Islamic law.
Over 150 photos have been posted to the Stealthy Freedoms of Iranian Women Facebook page which has amassed more than 140,000 likes since it was created just a week ago by the Iranian journalist Masih Alinejad.
Ms Alinejad, who left Iran to pursue her studies in the UK in 2009, told The Independent the page began when she posted a photograph of herself driving down a road in the country without wearing a headscarf.
The image was captioned with: “Hijab is being forced on women not only by the Morality Police, but also out of consideration for family, through wanting to keep a job and because of fear of judgment from others.”
“I wrote that I had experienced all of these pressures too,” she explained. “I was sure that most Iranian women who don’t believe in the forced hijab have enjoyed freedom in secret, [so] I asked them if they wished to share this moment of stealth freedom.”

Miami Dolphins safety Don Jones, apparently, didn’t get the memo. Jones tweeted “OMG” and “horrible” after he saw Sam and his boyfriend kiss each other live on ESPN. His tweet was quickly taken down, but the political correctness police swooped in anyway. Jones has been fined and suspended. He’s also being forced to attend “educational training” to get his “mind right,” to borrow a phrase from the film “Cool Hand Luke.” This sounds like the old communist “re-education” camps.
Dolphins Coach Joe Philbin called Jones’ comment “inappropriate and unacceptable.” Jones issued a statement that read like it had been written by a lawyer, apologizing for his “inappropriate” tweet and taking “full responsibility” for his comment.
