Hi Danny,
Thanks for allowing me the honour of participating in the Australia Day Service at Scots Church.
During the worship before we sang the national anthem I saw in the Spirit the floor of heaven being cracked open in thin parallel slots that allowed the shekinah glory of God to start to be released downward like thin billowing clouds emerging through the roof of the meeting as an expression of God’s pleasure, and for the purpose of extending His blessing on Australia. (I could see this in the Spirit but not in the physical).
It was not a pouring down but a beginning. It was an outcome of human penetration of the floor of heaven that released the “early rains” of the magnitude and power of heaven that can accomplish anything God wants.
I understood that the power of heaven is constrained from the natural because the difference between heaven and the world is so vast that God does not give his shekinah glory lightly or easily. It is withheld from man’s grasp due to our rebellion and hardness of heart, as with Cain, Esau, Dan, Ephraim and Judas.
But at the Scots service heaven was taken by force (Matt 11:12).

700 Aussie Christians, including 35 Pastors, Unite as Body of Christ to Prayerfully Storm Heaven for Australia’s Transformation

The Australia Day National Prayer Gathering at the Scots Church in Melbourne, organised by Catch The Fire Ministries and supported by many churches, and ministries, was a great success for the unity of the Body of Christ and the advancement of the Kingdom of God.
Around 700 Aussie Christians, along with 35 pastors and many other Christian ministers, filled the church in the city of Melbourne. Many carrying their Australian flags were so excited to see so many people of God lift up their hands to worship Jesus as King of kings and LORD of lords! There were people from every single state from across Australia present at the united prayer meeting for our nation’s transformation.
The interdenominational multi-ethnic prayer service started with the the minister from the Scots Church welcoming the people, and a great time of worship led by the CTFM worship team. Then the Uniting Church Minister prayed for Government & Leaders, followed by the AOG Pastor who prayed for protection from bush fires and thanked God for the rain.
As passionate Aussie Christians kept pouring into the auditorium, the place was full of excitement and the mighty presence of God filled the house. More worship was lifted up to heaven as people started interceding and praying for Australia’s revival, awakening, reformation and transformation.
Then the Baptist Minister led prayer for the nation and for revival in Australia. We also had prayer for the business and marketplace led by Brother Peter. Then Pas Daniel spoke on forgiveness and read a message from Pas Mark Conner of City Life Church. At this point people gathered together and spent time searching their hearts and repented before the Lord from any anger, bitterness, unforgiveness, offence, etc.

Then the Indigenous elder Aunty Margorie from Darwin led in prayer and a song of worship about welcoming the Holy Spirit from the highest mountains to the lowest valleys throughout our nation and hearts. Following this the Catholic priest led the congregation in the Lord’s prayer.

We are so excited to see the way God is moving in our nation of Australia, across this Great South Land of the Holy Spirit!
Even though it seems like that there is no major breakthrough, we thank God for the remnant He has preserved who have refused to bow down to political correctness in our nation and within the Church. We believe the Lord will use this remnant to awaken the Church and to shake our nation with the power of God.
On Friday 20th Jan Pr Daniel ministered at Bunbury, where around 70-80 people gathered to hear the Word of God and his personal testimony. He also shared the vision and mission God placed in his heart to take Australia for Jesus by 2020. The people were absolutely challenged and many stated, “Thank God we have now once again received hope to see revival in Australia!” At the end of the meeting there was great excitement and many signed up for membership with Rise Up Australia Party.
Pr Daniel was also interviewed by Howard Sandler of 6PR Talkback Radio in WA regarding RUA Party. Pr Daniel had the opportunity to do the interview live from the radio station. We thank God for a very productive interview. Click the following link to listen.

On Sat 21st Jan at 11am Pr Daniel met with a group of very excited committed Christians in Perth for 3 hours. Some drove 5 hours to be at this meeting. Here we saw the birth of the State Executive for Rise Up Australia Party to Keep Australia Australian in WA. This 12 member team comprises of Doctors, Teachers, a Businessman, some who have been in Politics for many years, a Journalist, Housewives and a couple of Pastors. Some others were so happy that they wanted to know more about RUA Party that they all met with Pr Daniel for coffee after the meeting, and finished up around midnight.
Pr Daniel stated, “I thank God for a very good state executive team that He has now given us for WA. They are all full of excitement and passion to keep Australia Australian and see her come back to Jesus. I am very confident that they are going to do an amazing job at the next federal election. With God’s grace we will run candidates in all lower and upper house seats in WA.”
Sat night and Sun morning He ministered at Dream Life Church in Wangara where the Lord moved most powerfully at both meetings with many mightily touched by the power of God. Many responded to the altar call, including many youth. So many were just sobbing and crying at the altar as they were being prayed for. Many others just could not stand in the presence of God. Some received healing and some others were set free from bondages.

Our office has received several calls and emails from people who want to know as to when and where would Mandy’s funeral be held. Also thank you very much for your many messages of sympathy and love for Mandy’s family. Be assured we will pass it onto her family.
As for the funeral, according to available information at this point, we understand that the Coroner has to release the body first, in order to plan the funeral. Please stay tuned into our website. As soon as we have the details of date, time and venue for the funeral, we will keep our website updated.

As we all know, with any issue some reports are not quite accurate.
1) One media outlet referred to us as “Gateway church” and not Catch the Fire Ministries.
2) Mandy and Nathan did not worship at Catch The Fire. They worshiped at Citylife Church. They have visited us on several occasions. Ps Daniel is not their Pastor, but a good friend.

Respect for the House of God

I come from a Baptist background. As a child, I attended church with my parents every Wednesday and Sunday – morning and night. My parents made sure I participated in all the church functions, both spiritually and socially. I was in the church bell choir and sang with various musical quartets. As a child, attending church was not an option. My father never considered what I had done the day before or what I had to do the next day. How I felt was irrelevant. On Sunday morning we went to church.
Recently, I asked a husband and wife how their child was doing because I hadn’t seen him at church for a while. Their response startled me. They said, “He hasn’t been wanting to come lately.” I thought to myself, Who’s the parent in this household? Those same parents do not allow their child to decide whether or not he goes to school. They require school attendance, regardless. However, they let him choose whether or not he attends church. Without realizing it, those parents are instilling in that child the thought that education is important, but God isn’t.
Likewise, when children are required to show respect for teachers at school, but not required to show respect for elders at church, it also sends the wrong message. (more…)
Churchgoers More Likely to Be Optimistic, Report Says

Those who attend religious services regularly are 56 percent more likely to have an optimistic view of life and 27 percent less likely to have depression than those who don’t, a study by Yeshiva University in Manhattan suggests.
Published in the current issue of the Journal of Religion and Health, the Women’s Health Initiative observational study is based on a survey of 92,539 post-menopausal women from diverse backgrounds and over the age of 50. This group was chosen as women generally live longer than men, and seniors are a growing group.
“We looked at the religious practices of nearly 100,000 women and – like it or not – found a strong connection between going to church or synagogue or any other house of worship and a positive outlook on life,” Medical News Today quoted Eliezer Schnall, an associate professor of psychology at Yeshiva University who headed the research, as saying. 1) A few weeks ago a minister from the Presbyterian church came to visit Pr Daniel at CTFM office. At this meeting he told him that he had spent time with the Queen in Scotland and that the Queen was truly born again. This was during the time she was visiting Australia.

1) Glory to God for another weekend full of Kingdom action under the anointing of the Holy Spirit, as the Lord moved mightily in Sydney where Pr Daniel ministered the prophetic Word at a Christmas evangelistic outreach organised by some Indonesian and Korean churches!
Some Indonesian & Korean churches combined together and did an amazing job with music, dance, etc.
The Christmas Love Street Parade was so great and very colourful that it attracted the attention of thousands of people in the CBD of Sydney.
At Park in Sydney, a few hundred people gathered to watch this great afternoon of celebrating the birth of Jesus!
As Pr Daniel spoke on ‘Remembering the Special Gift on Christmas Day” many people passing by watched and listened with great interest.
Additionally, over the weekend several people gave their lives to Jesus, including 2 Indonesian Buddhist men, a taxi driver and a young man from China that were all led to the Lord through Pr Daniel!
The 22 year old young man from China, a university student, came to the house where Pr Daniel was before ministering at the service, gave his life to Jesus, and was very keen to get baptised in water!
After speaking to the leaders of this fellowship, Pr Daniel baptised the young man in the bathtub in their house. As this young man came out of the water, he also received the baptism of the Holy Spirit and burst out praying in tongues! It was just absolutely amazing!
