3 Powerful Testimonies From Pastor Danny’s Recent Minstry Trip In Colac

Healing Testimony 1Dear family & friends in Christ,

Following are 3 powerful testimonies of the Lord’s miraculous healing and supernatural restoration as a result of a mighty outpouring of the Holy Ghost when Pastor Danny and a team from Catch the Fire ministered in Colac, Victoria from the 1st – 2nd August. We pray that you will be greatly blessed by the great things the Father in Heaven continues to do for His Glory!

Healing Testimony 1 “On the evening of the 1st of August 2009, I went out the front of the church to the healing line.  Here, Pastor Danny anointed me with oil and I said to him, “I do not wish to fall down as I’ve just had stents put in both my legs.” He arranged a chair for me to sit on. After a few seconds I felt my both legs becoming hot; then they felt as if they were growing huge as the Holy Spirit worked on me. There were strange movements in the legs then pins and needles. As they subsided my legs began to feel normal, no pain, but slightly numb. I felt the Holy Spirit move up my right arm, and as it hit spots where I’d previously felt pain months before, I felt the same pain as I’d felt before. The same happened to the other arm, then I felt a sharp pain in the heart area twice, and felt fearful for a moment, wondering what was going to happen next. When I stood up I was like a drunk woman, and couldn’t balance or walk straight. Gradually after I went home, I was able to walk straight. I was so happy, so grateful as I’d never felt the Holy Spirit before, but had been prayed for after baptism to receive the Holy Spirit 50 years before, although I did see visions over the years.I woke up this morning, 2nd of August 2009, with no pain whatsoever, and will feel eternally grateful for the Lord’s gift of healing through the Holy Spirit. Sylvia”

Ava IsabellaBy Teresa NeumannBreaking Christian News

“I was an atheist. Now I’m considering going to church and being a believer. There’s got to be someone up there who’s saving our little daughter.”

(Buffalo, NY)—Miracle baby, one-week-old Ava Isabella Stinson weighs only 2 pounds 4 ounces, but the tiny tike is already changing the lives of the people around her. Like her parents, Natalie Paquette and Richard Stinson.

It all started when Natalie went into labor three months before her due date and found there was “no room at the Inn” for hospital care for the premature Ava in her hometown of Hamilton, Ontario, where a shortage of neonatal beds is an ongoing problem. (more…)

Police Officers In Fiji Share Jesus Christ With Squatters

Labasa, FijiBy Teresa Neumann

(Fiji)—The Fiji Times reports that as part of their community policing crusade, police officers in Labasa—joined by church pastors—donated food and clothes to residents of Namara squatter settlement and shared the Gospel of Jesus with them at the weekend.

Underground Church Growing In Muslim-Dominated Indonesia

Worshipping GodJulian Lukins – Sumatra, Indonesia

Pentecostals on the tsunami-ravaged coast of Indonesia are experiencing a wave of conversions and healings.

In the strongly Muslim Aceh province of northern Sumatra—where 167,000 people died in the 2004 tsunami—the underground church movement is growing, with Pentecostal congregations thriving.

Indonesia has an official policy of religious tolerance, but in Muslim-dominated areas Christians face open hostility and persecution. In Aceh province, churches must register with the authorities and are not permitted to evangelize. Many Christians choose to meet in unregistered—or underground—churches.

Sumatra is one of the least evangelized places on earth, according to Operation World. But since the tsunami—which wiped out 15 percent of the population of Aceh’s provincial capital Banda Aceh—numerous underground churches have put down roots.

Pastor Nico (full name withheld for security reasons) started an underground Pentecostal church four years ago with only six members. Today 90 people from the neighborhood make up the Spirit-filled congregation. They endure persecution for their faith. One church family had rocks thrown through the windows of their home, and another family was forced to relocate because of threats. (more…)

Casting Crowns Shining The Light Of Jesus In North Korea

Casting Crowns In N. KoreaBy Aimee Herd – CBN News

“I knew I wasn’t going to preach sermons, and I knew I wouldn’t be able to share openly about my faith, but you don’t necessarily preach to empty tummies. You fill tummies, and you show the love of Jesus through what you do. And after that comes those opportunities.”

One of the most popular Christian bands today is Casting Crowns. Recently, CBN News caught up with frontman Mark Hall, to talk about his recent trips into North Korea, where the band was invited to perform.

The invitation came through the NGO Global Resource Services (GRS), which works inside the country helping with food distribution, agriculture, children and families.

According to Hall, every other year the Friendship Arts Festival is held in Pyongyang where artists from around the world are invited to perform—not normally from America. But God “opened the doors” for Casting Crowns to not only go, but to perform their songs each containing a strong Christian message.

Hall said, “They had our lyrics, they had our music—if you’ve listened to our songs [the Christianity] is not exactly hidden—and they invited us anyway.” (more…)

Good News – UN Commission – NO To Abortion!

By Samantha Singson

UN Commission Ends with Delegations Saying No to Abortion

(NEW YORK – C-FAM)  As the sun rose on the last day of negotiations at the Commission on Population and Development (CPD) at the United Nations (UN) today, delegations were still embroiled in a contentious debate over language concerning “sexual and reproductive health and rights,” which some radical NGOs and UN committees have interpreted and used to promote abortion. As UN member states came together at the closing meeting to adopt the document, delegations took the floor to define abortion out of the document.

Up until the eleventh hour, the contentious term “sexual and reproductive health and rights” remained in the draft document. Just prior to adoption, Iran took the floor to object to the phrase which has never before been included in any negotiated UN document.  Iran stressed that the term remained problematic for a number of delegations and urged the Commission to revert back to previously agreed upon and carefully negotiated language from the 1994 International Conference on Population and Development (ICPD) Program of Action, which is understood not to create any right to abortion.  (more…)

Report From Pastor Danny’s USA-Canada Trip 9th April – 22nd April 09

Hollywood, Los AngelesDear family and friends in Christ,

All glory and honour goes continually to the wondrous King of kings and the Lord of lords! What a glorious time of seeing God move so incredibly among His people and a time of personally receiving direction and encouragement, during the past 2 weeks in Canada and the US!

Toronto, CanadaI was so excited in my spirit when the time came to minister God’s Word in Canada (Toronto) during the Easter weekend (an Easter Crusade) on Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Each service was attended by more than 400 people hungry for the Lord and not satisfied with less than His best as their portion!

Scarborough (or better known as little Sri Lanka) in Toronto has around 350, 000 Sri Lankan Canadians living there, with most having fled Sri Lanka due to it’s civil war. Hence here are around 30-40 Sri Lankan churches in this area.

The church I ministered in had approx 90 plus Hindu converts to Christianity, including the pastor himself. God moved most powerfully at every service, as the people pressed in to the Lord, revealing their hunger and thirst for Him. Many of these dear people have loved one’s trapped in the middle of the battle zone in the north of Sri Lanka. (more…)

Mandisa: Radiating Jesus

Mandisa: Radiating JesusLeigh DeVore Newsletters – The Buzz

American Idol alum Mandisa Hundley expresses a newfound freedom on her new album, aptly titled Freedom. She says that when she started working on this new CD, she was drawn to songs that dealt with the issue of freedom. “I knew that’s where God was directing me and that’s what He wanted me to talk about. … And then I realized that I could not do an album called Freedom and proclaim that God was able to set people free and still be held captive by a lifelong food addiction. … I didn’t want to be a hypocrite; I didn’t want to tell other people that He could set them free and not believe it for myself.”

She hired a personal trainer and changed the way she thought about food. She has already lost 70 pounds and is still pressing forward. She says her new album is “very encouraging to me and I know it will be encouraging to people that are fighting, feeling like they are bound by something. I feel like this is an album that will convince them that we serve a very powerful God who’s able to set us free.”

This freedom comes when we understand God’s love for us, she explains. “When we really grasp what God’s love is … we won’t be bound by the things that we’re bound by. And I don’t think that we would search for our identity in other things. I think when we really fully understand how God feels about us, that we would be so secure in that, we really would be free of a lot that has us entangled right now.” (more…)

British Actor Portrays Heroes Of The Faith From Brother Andrew To Richard Wurmbrand

By Peter Wooding

David RobinsonRegarding his latest production, “Apostle of Faith” (about Smith Wigglesworth), actor David Robinson says: “He was a gruff, blunt Yorkshire plumber who came to know God and had an amazing ministry in healing and preaching and some of his miraculous encounters and meetings that he spoke at just blew my mind when I read them. In fact there were almost too many miracles and healings in the books to put on stage because you got a bit blasé, somebody else was instantly healed and people coming back to life from the dead…”

(Colwyn Bay, North Wales, UK)—Rather than seeking the bright lights of Hollywood, actor David Robinson uses his talents to re-enact the lives of true heroes of the Christian faith in a number of productions toured by the UK-based Saltmine Theatre Company.

Born in Lancashire in the North of England and now living in the West Midlands, the majority of David’s training was at Amersham College. He then went on to work at the Royal Opera House, Covent Garden in London before joining Saltmine Theatre Company as an actor in 1989. Since then he has performed in all their major productions, he was made leader of the company in 1991 and subsequently Saltmine’s Creative Arts Director in 1998. (more…)

Cautionary Good News For Christians In India

By Teresa Neumann

Orissa Christians“It’s a fertile time for the Church. We have noticed…that if we did not have this time of persecution, we would not have seen the growth that has taken place. God continues to work powerfully in these areas.”

(India)—Mission Network News reports that, in advance of the April elections, Orissa’s ruling Biju Janata Dal has ended the alliance with the Hindu extremist Bharatiya Janata Party.

According to the report, church leaders in the region believe the violence against Christians in Orissa by Hindu activists last year is one of the reasons behind the collapse of the BJD-BJP alliance in the state. The split will benefit Believers, they say. (more…)

My Imam Father Came After Me With An Axe!

“An amazing article printed in The Times in the UK this week….

The article tells the story of ‘The Imam’s Daughter’ by speaking with the author of a new book written by a girl who was a Muslim and converted to Christianity. The book was released on 5 March 2009.

The book – and the article – highlight how she lived in the UK, was raped by her father who was an imam, how she faced a forced marriage at 16 and fled her family, and then became a Christian.
She then feared for her life when they tried to kill her.

The author, “Hannah”, is now married… She wants to highlight the plight of Muslim women in Britain.

Several people have already sent this to me – it is an amazing story.

The book:
The Imam’s Daughter, by “Hannah Shah”.
Please Click Here for details of the book on Amazon.”

More Than 1,000 Syrian Leaders Attend Premiere Of Gospel Film

Syrian Leaders(Virginia Beach, Virginia, March 10, 2009) — This morning on the Christian Broadcasting Network’s “700 Club,” I was interviewed about Inside The Revolution. I spoke about the Iranian nuclear threat to the U.S. and Israel, as well as the good news from Iran — that more than 1 million Shia Muslims there have come to faith in Jesus Christ over the past thirty years.

Just before lunch, I spoke to several hundred CBN employees about some of the amazing stories I have personally witnessed of how the God of the Bible is transforming lives throughout the Muslim world, and spreading the message of the gospel throughout the epicenter.

Just after I spoke, I receive an email from a friend in the Middle East with the latest piece of good news from that region. Last week, as you’ll recall, I alerted you to the fact that a major motion picture about the life of the Apostle Paul and how he came to faith in Jesus Christ on the road to Damascus was going to premiere in the Syrian capital. I also asked you to pray that God would bless the showing of the film entitled, Damascus. (more…)

ANTI-CONVERSION BILL Delayed In Sri Lanka

Sri Lankan FlagPastor Danny NalliahDear Family and Friends in Christ,

I wish to convey my sincere appreciation to all who prayed and acted in order to stop the above bill from getting through the Parliament of Sri Lanka. Below is a report I received a few days ago. Further, I personally spoke to several Christian leaders and others who have now advised me that the President has personally assured some of them that he will not let it pass through Parliament.

The delay tactic is because the President is planning on calling for elections this year and would dissolve Parliament before that. If this happens, all existing bills scheduled to go through Parliament will be automatically cancelled. (more…)
