Mighty weekend of Holy Spirit Fire and Anointing in Melbourne

Pr Daniel ministers at the altar in Point CookPr Daniel ministering at Kesher Hamnenorah It\'s Time To Speak Up Conference in GeelongDear family & friends in Christ,

1) What a glorious weekend it was with the Spirit of God moving powerfully in Geelong & Point Cook in the Western Suburbs of Melbourne as Pr Daniel preached the uncompromising Word of God, challenging the Church to rise up and take a stand in the name of Jesus for our nation of Australia!

On Saturday morning and afternoon in Geelong, many people united in the presence of God to worship, pray and hear the prophetic Word of the Lord at the “It’s Time To Speak Up” Conference” at the Waterfront Christian Church. There was a very special focus at the conference to pray and stand for Israel.

Pr Daniel spoke on Islam, the Middle East, Israel and the End-Times as many were shocked to hear some of the information shared. The conference organisers did a great job. Everyone was mightily blessed!

On Sunday Pr Daniel ministered at a Church in Point Cook where many from various walks of life came to hear the Word of God. One of the most exciting moments was when a drug dealer came to the altar and gave his life to Jesus! Many were weeping and absolutely touched by the almighty presence of God.

The Secret Blessing of Generosity

GiftsLife Publishers Charisma Channels – SpiritLed Living

In Genesis 13 (Read Genesis 13), Lot chose selfishly and moved his family to the choicest land—near the cities of Sodom and Gomorrah, whose inhabitants sinned greatly. Abram, Lot’s uncle, generously let him go; and for his generosity, God blessed Abram and allowed him to settle his family in a safe area.

Later, God used Abram to rescue Lot from the evil cities before He destroyed them. Abram learned the blessings of being generous and following God’s plan.

We often think of giving as being limited to money or things. We need to give our time or talents to the Lord as well. The abilities the Lord has given you can be offered as a special gift.

On occasion, the most important thing we can give to help others is our time. Giving with a cheerful heart comes when we give our time, money or talents as if we were giving them directly to the Lord.

Though others may not receive these thankfully, God will add His blessing to our willingness to give.

Australia: Former immigration minister warns country risks becoming “nation of enclaves”

Kevin AndrewsHe also calls attention to the many cases in which halal meat has entered the market without consumers’ knowing — a phenomenon not at all limited to Australia, but also found in the United States and Britain, even in the House of Commons. Why the subterfuge? Why not respect consumers’ rights to make their own informed decisions, except to wear down resistance by forcing people to eat it and denying them a means of telling halal meat apart?

Of course, Kevin Andrews will be pilloried as an “Islamophobe” for this, and accused of fomenting “backlash,” for Islamic groups would have you believe that he who hath looked critically upon Islam hath committed hate crimes in his heart: it has become a standard practice to cast all criticism of Islam as incitement.

“Tackle ‘extreme Islam before it’s too late’, Liberal MPs warn,” by Steve Lewis for the Herald Sun, February 9:
Australia risks becoming a nation of “ethnic enclaves” that unknowingly buys livestock slaughtered “in the name of Allah”, senior Liberal MPs have warned.

Opening up a new political faultline, former immigration minister Kevin Andrews lashed out at political leaders who failed to speak out on the rise of extreme Islam, claiming the silence contributes to the rise of One Nation-type movements.

Seven Reasons Why I Pray and Take a Stand with Israel

James W. GollA VIEW FROM MY CHAIR With James W. Goll

The following is an excerpt from the first chapter of my book Praying for Israel’s Destiny. The book is solid and relevant for these days. Having been an Israel Intercessor for many years, these truths roll out of my heart with ease. May you be enlightened and encouraged to take a stand in these perilous times.

1. Israel is Still the Apple of God’s Eye, and His Inheritance.

Pray and take a stand for Israel because Israel is still very close to God’s heart. I have already shared Zechariah 2:8, which says, “He who touches you , touches the apple of His eye.” Centuries before Zechariah prophesied these words, Moses wrote a song containing a very similar picture:

For the Lord’s portion is His people; Jacob is the allotment of His inheritance. . . . He encircled him, He cared for him and He guarded him as the pupil of His eye. . . . He spread His wings and caught them. He carried them on His pinions. Deuteronomy 32:9–11

Psalm 148:14 declares, “And He has lifted up a horn for His people, praise for all His godly ones; even for the sons of Israel, a people near to Him.” Did you hear that? “A people near to Him.” I love that!

The first reason I pray for Israel is not profound. I pray for Israel because I want to be close to God’s heart and I want to be in alignment with God’s sight. If God says that Israel is the apple or pupil of His eye, then I want to pray with insight–with His sight. Do you want to be close to the heart of God? Then be close to the things, people and purposes that are close to His heart. Fulfill your appointment. Take a stand and be a watchman for Israel!

Christians And Their Churches Targeted By Radical Muslims

Radical MuslimsBy Emerson Vermaat 20 January 2011

In December 2010 I reported that Christian asylum seekers in three thirds of the asylum seekers centers in Holland (so-called “AZC’s”) are seriously intimidated by Muslim asylum seekers. Too many Muslim converts to Christianity – often refugees from totalitarian Muslim societies – live in fear.

However, the problem of harassing or attacking Christians is much more widespread. Many Christians in Iraq are persecuted by radical Muslims who bomb their churches, kill their pastors and priests. Many of them flee to the West. (Some them end up in Dutch asylum seekers centers where they once again face harassment by militant Muslims.) Coptic churches in Egypt have also been bombed. There was a major terror attack on a Coptic church in Alexandria, Egypt, on New Year’s day, when 25 Coptic Christians were killed.

Strong quake in New Zealand collapses buildings
Feb 22, 2011 6:18 AM | By Sapa-AP

A powerful earthquake struck New Zealand’s already-bruised city of Christchurch, collapsing buildings, burying vehicles under debris and sending rescuers scrambling to help trapped people amid reports of multiple deaths.

The four-storey Pyne Gould Corporation building lies in ruin in central Christchurch. A strong quake hit New Zealand’s second-biggest city of Christchurch on Tuesday for the second time in five months, toppling buildings, causing “multiple fatalities,” trapping people beneath rubble and sparking fires.

The 6.3-magnitude quake struck the country’s second-largest city on a busy weekday afternoon, in contrast to a major quake that damaged Christchurch last September but caused no deaths when it struck before dawn on a weekend. Police said there were reports of multiple fatalities from the latest temblor, while Prime Minister John Key told Parliament details of the deaths still were too shaky to confirm.

Demons scream, Depression broken, Praying in tongues – Holy Spirit fire falls in Brisbane

Pr Daniel praying with peopleChildren touched by the LordDear family & friends in Christ,

1) What an amazing weekend this has been for the Glory of God!

Pr Daniel ministered at an AOG church in Brisbane and the presence of God fell powerfully in every single service with great manifestations of the Holy Spirit!

The people freely entered into the intimate presence of the Lord in worship at every service. As Pr Daniel came up to preach in one of the services, he had to stand at the pulpit to worship for another hour as the power of God continued to fall in the place!

Even before the Word of God was preached, demons started screaming and a young lady was set free from a demonic presence in her life. As the congregation prayed in tongues people began receiving words of  prophecy and interpretation from heaven’s throne-room.

A number of people were filled with the Holy Ghost and prayed in tongues for the very first time, and some others were set free from depression. Many were mightily touched by the power of God, and some could not even walk as they were so drunk in the Holy Ghost.

Will China ultimately be a Christian-led Nation?

Chinese Christian WorshipBy Lauren Green – Published January 20, 2011

According to China Aid, a Texas-based human rights group, the number of Christians in China has increased 100-fold since 1949. Current estimates range from 80 million to 130 million active members. And one startling estimate from a Chinese Christian businessman has that number doubling or even tripling in the next generation.

Christianity could become one of the macro forces shaping Chinese culture, say experts like Dr. David Aikman, author of “Jesus in Beijing.”‬‪

“If the Chinese become Christianized … which doesn’t mean you have a majority of people who are Christians, but it means about 25 to 30 percent of people in positions of influence, in politics, in culture, in the media. If you have that component of a major power that accepts Christianity enthusiastically as a guide to life, that is going to change the world view of the leaders of China.”‬‪

Others argue that even if the more generous estimate of 130 Christians is true, it’s still a drop in the bucket in a population of more than a billion people.

“They all preach the same gospel. There are no liberals or conservative branches … they all believe the same.”

Jesus is Alive and Living in Australia

Mary Metcalfe cleaing up after the floodsSaturday, January 15, 2011 By Alan Metcalfe Special to ASSIST News Service

IRVINE, CA (ANS) — If you have been looking for Jesus this past week, He has been busy in Australia. For sure He has also been in Brazil, Peru, Germany, and wherever there has been need, but for sure, He has been in Australia this week; and He is staying on.

In Brisbane alone, a city of 2 million people, 50,000 people have officially registered as volunteers; and you can multiply this number by at least 10, when all the unofficial volunteers are counted. There has been an incredible outpouring of community spirit; and where that spirit is; there is Jesus Christ among the people.

All across the cities of Brisbane and Ipswich; and throughout the state, there has been an incredible outpouring of support from Queenslanders to help those in need at this time.

The flooded Metcalfe home at Goodna, Queensland, about 30 miles west of Brisbane. At the time this photo was taken, the water was starting to fall. “We believe the water covered the roof at the peak,’ said Alan Metcalfe

After the news spread that our home at Goodna, a suburb on the eastern edge of Ipswich in Queensland, had been submerged by flood waters and badly damaged, we have seen dozens of volunteers coming to help to us and our neighbors, and for this we are very thankful Thank you also for the ASSIST News readers who have emailed their prayers and support. Thank you. This is what Christianity is all about. This is Jesus Christ at work in the world.

Egyptian Missionaries Respond to Train Shootings with Christian Love Campaign

Civil unrest in EgyptThursday, January 20, 2011

Special to the ASSIST News Service – From Christian Aid Mission

CAIRO, EGYPT (ANS) — In the wake of last week’s fatal train shooting, and a series of Christmas church attacks and the New Year terror bombing, a leading native missionary leader is calling for “a Christian love campaign in Egypt to all people who are not Christians.”

The leader told Christian Aid Africa Director Rae Burnett that “persecution is increasing everywhere” in Egypt and asked Christians overseas to continue to pray, even though the news media is not reporting the increased pressure on Christians in Egypt.

Last week an off-duty policeman boarded a train and went from car to car shooting those he identified as Christians – one man was killed in the attack and four women were wounded.

“We wonder if Christians will continue to be safe riding trains or walking in the streets,” said the Egyptian leader, “but we are happy that God has placed us here, and we believe that He will use this time to bring many souls to Him. We pray that God will touch many hearts with His love, and that the gospel will be known to all Egyptians.”

E-News: Three Liberals speak up on multiculturalism and Islam

Liberal PoliticiansSalt Shakers E-News

Following current articles on multiculturalism in Britain and subsequent reports from Australia, three federal Liberal MPs have spoken out.

Kevin Andrews MHR, Sen Mitch Fifield and Sen Cory Bernardi have warned about the dangers of separatism, the dangers of Islam, the risk of losing Australian culture … and the Islamisation of Australia. The MPs mentioned the silence of political leaders about extreme Islam, the risk of ‘parallel societies’ such as is happening in the UK and Europe where Muslims want shari’a law and the proliferation of ‘halal’ food as problems…

Stories of Heroism Emerge from Aussie Floods

Teenager lost in the floodsby Aimee Herd : Jan 14, 2011 : Bryony Jones – CNN.com

“I can only imagine what was going on inside to give up his life to save his brother, even though he was petrified of water. He is our little hero.”

A CNN.com report notes the courageous actions by some of those trapped by the horrific flooding in Australia this week.

In one instance, Queensland teenager Jordan Rice sacrificed his own life to save his brother’s when the family became trapped in their car as a sudden flash flood overtook it. (Photo: CNN.com)

Jordan, his mother and his younger brother, Blake, struggled to survive on the roof of the car, as they waited for rescuers to help them to safety. When help arrived planning to take Jordan first, he demanded that they save his little brother and mother before him.

Blake was rescued, but it was too late to help either Jordan or his mom. The boy’s father, John Tyson, who had not been with them at the time, told a local newspaper, “Jordan can’t swim and is terrified of water. But when the man went to rescue him, he said ‘save my brother first.’

“I can only imagine what was going on inside to give up his life to save his brother, even though he was petrified of water. He is our little hero,” said Tyson.
