Bill Of Rights Attack On Majority Law Abiding Citizens?

The Federal Government plans to introduce a Bill of Rights, which at face value seems to be very good, in particular the way it’s packaged and promoted by clever agents of the Rudd Government. I heard one such agent say on TV last week, ‘there are 40,000 submissions and I guess most of them support the bill.” However, this is not true. According to information I have received from a person within the Government who does not agree with this bill, most submissions are against it.
 
Currently across Australia, there are many one-track minded forums promoting how good this bill is.  It seems we are reliving the introduction of the Racial & Religious Vilification Laws all over again. The Government held similar forums across Victoria where many people were in opposition to them. Although there was around 80% of submissions against, the Government passed the Racial & Religious Vilification Laws anyway.
 
I wonder why the Government calls for submissions and conducts forums, because it seems their bills will pass anyway. Is it all a big farce to make the public think they are a free and democratic Government run by the people.? In reality the Left-Wing secular agendas (also promoted by the United Nations) will be carried out anyway, whether the rest of us Aussies like it or not.

Pas Tony Hallo, a minister with the AOG for 40 years and formally the Senior Pastor of possibly the biggest church in Townsville, ministered the prophetic Word of the Lord, challenging the people of God with the urgency of getting ready for the second coming of Jesus!  This man of God, who had travelled to many nations and spent much time in Israel, had the people at the edge of their seats as they soaked in the anointed Word and presence of the Lord God of Israel!

People From All Walks Of Life Are Certainly Catching The Fire!!!

It is absolutely exciting to see the devil and his demonic cohorts tremble and scream as the mighty power of Jesus enters the house of God

Yes, this is what we saw last weekend at the Holy Spirit Fire and Healing Meetings in Hallam, Melbourne. Many God seeking people packed the venue on Friday and Sunday once again to soak in the life transforming presence of God, some even travelling all the way from Perth, WA to Catch the Fire!
 
As the anointed worship reached heaven for two consecutive hours, many were absolutely smacked by the weighty presence of God, like a steam roller of the Holy Spirit! Pas Danny prayed before the meeting, “Holy Spirit please come and mess us up!” Well, certainly that’s what happened as people could not stand on their feet and were laying all over the altar under the manifest glory of God! Two Years Since Victory From Court Case!

Dear family and friends in Christ,

Today Monday 22nd June is a very special day for us and I’m sure for all freedom loving fellow countrymen in Australia, as it marks 2 years since we won the court case in the Supreme Court of Appeal for Freedom of Speech and Religion after a 5 year battle in the Victorian Civil and Administrative Tribunal and then the Supreme Court. I’m sure we will celebrate this monumental day for years to come in remembrance of the victory against a bad piece of legislation which almost took away our rights to declare Jesus as the only way to the Father in heaven!

On a personal note, it’s also a special day that brought great joy to our family as the Lord blessed my wife and I with our 3rd child who turns 2 years old today!  So every year at her birthday we will give God the glory for helping us stand our ground for His righteousness and justice in our nation of Australia to see this great victory for the Kingdom of God! The National Human Rights Consultation Secretariat of the Attorney-General’s Department are taking responses on or before 15 June 2009 to a proposed Charter of Rights in Australia which may:

1. allow minority groups to impose their “rights” on the majority (for example on abortion and/or same-sex marriage);
2. allow unelected judges instead of elected representatives to determine if any laws are not compatible with human rights).

So you thought we were kidding!

When we said that appeasing bad laws by seeking exemptions is wrong many of you probably said “they’re mad”. Well here is evidence from the UK as to why we say it is wrong. Because once you have the bad law with the exemptions you start the countdown to their removal. So by not totally opposing the law and compromising YOU ULTIMATELY LOSE. Appeasement only gives temporary relief.

What A Glorious Weekend – The Spirit & Fire Of Pentecost

Dear family and friends in Christ,

The recent Pentecost weekend was so glorious, as many people from many cultures radically experienced the mighty wind of the Spirit of God blowing through Australia and the nations of the world!
 
We at Catch the Fire Ministries were so excited and overjoyed to have joined hundreds of millions of Christians around the world on Pentecost Sunday for the Global Day of Prayer in seeking God’s face for the healing, revival, and transformation of the nations, in addition to have thanked God for rain and celebrated the National Day of Thanksgiving in Australia on Sunday 31st May 2009.

I am sure that the hundreds who gathered over the weekend where Pastor Danny was ministering will testify that they experienced possibly a glimpse of the first day of Pentecost some 2000 years ago when the Holy Spirit was first poured out!  Pastor Danny first ministered on Saturday in Endeavor Hills in a packed out upper room to a group of Hungarian and Serbian Christians very hungry for the mighty presence of God! Many were greatly impacted through the ministry of the Word of God and were so blessed by the Lord’s unconditional love for His children!  Following the meeting was a great feast of delicious food! Pastor Danny stated, ‘We first had a Spiritual Feast and now a great natural feast!” The place was buzzing with great joy in the Spirit! (more…)

Fire From Heaven, Miraculous Healings and Mighty Salvations in Melbourne, Australia

Dear family & friends in Christ,

As I regularly travel and minister from city to city across our nation of Australia, many have asked me as to why we have not continued to send ongoing updates on the Catch The Fire Meetings in Melbourne, Australia. Well, when every meeting each week is seeing people healed, delivered, set free, mightily filled with the Holy Spirit, and radically transformed by the power of God, it becomes your usual expectation all the time!

Several weeks ago in a dream the Lord said to me, “It’s time for Signs & Wonders!” I was so excited and shared this with my family the next morning, then with my ministry team on Wednesday at our weekly fasting and prayer meeting. The following weekend on Sunday night at our meeting the fire of the Holy Spirit fell as people were mightily touched and started singing, “Let Your fire fall, let Your fire fall!” Suddenly, my secretary interrupted me to show me something which was appearing on a lady’s camera, who could hardly stand up with her hands shivering . As I looked at the camera I was surprised to see what seemed to be 3-6 columns of flaming fire. At this point I told the congregation and almost all present personally witnessed this. (more…)

Mr SIMPKINS (Cowan) (8.50 pm)—I was recently handed the magazine of the Barnabas Fund, Barnabas Aid, which supports hope and aid for the persecuted church. I was fascinated to read of an issue of great importance to me and a great many people in Cowan. The issue is apostasy, which in this case is where a Muslim converts to Christianity and faces extreme consequences that in various countries include murder, imprisonment, harassment, beatings, torture, rape and a wide range of other persecution undertaken either as a legally sanctioned punishment or by family or others in the community who believe that their actions are justified under the scriptures. This issue is about religious intolerance, and this is the grievance I wish to speak to. (more…)
