Holy Spirit fire falls – demons scream – people set free

Dear family & friends in Christ,

1) What an amazing few days it has been!  We thank and praise God for Pr Jay Bartlett from the US and his team who were willing to take on an area of ministry which is very much neglected in the body of Christ, which is casting out demons and setting the captives free. Someone once said Salvation is free but everything else is very expensive. This is so true.

Many believe that once you are born again that you cannot have demons. This is not true. Many born again believers of Christ are living in bondage and are crying out for help, but the church unfortunately seems to be not able to help them or not willing to help them, as it is indeed a very complicated area to step into.

I have cast demons out of many born again Christians in ministry across the nations and seen them move into complete freedom in Christ Jesus our Lord and Saviour. But I must say, I don’t think I have ever seen so many people being set free from demons as in the last 4 days. The past few days has certainy taken our church into a new place in the Lord.

The CTFM worship team took the people into an awesome place in the Lord in worship, even before the pastor could minister. One young man stated, “If this is the entree, I just can’t wait for the main course”.  This young man had deliverance back in August.

He stated, ‘’I never thought that I had any demons. I thought I was a good Christian. When Pr Jay prayed for me I thought ‘What is this guy on about?’, but then suddenly I felt something beginning to start rising inside me and taking control of my mouth and body. Out of my mouth came these strange words, and then suddenly this thing left me.  From that day on I was free from these demons, Hallelujah!  I soon realised that I have been set free from the spirit of fear, anger and anxiety. Today I am a very different man than who I was. It has also really changed my whole attitude towards my wife and children”.

Now renouncing his violent past – which includes confessing to killing nearly 20,000 people during Liberia’s 14-year civil war – after converting to Christianity, Blahyi seeks to reinvent himself as an evangelist, traveling the nation as a preacher and asking for forgiveness from those whom he had hurt in the past.

Filmmakers Eric Strauss and Daniele Anastasion spent five years with Blahyi, closely following his troubled life as he sought forgiveness from his former soldiers and his numerous victims.

Strauss had become interested in Blahyi after he read about him in a book called The World’s Most Dangerous Places.

“It was just a tiny blurb about a notorious warlord who had killed thousands and was now walking the streets preaching truth and reconciliation,” Strauss told The Los Angeles Times. “I wondered, ‘Could someone like this really exist?’”

700 Aussie Christians, including 35 Pastors, Unite as Body of Christ to Prayerfully Storm Heaven for Australia’s Transformation

Dear family and friends in Christ,

The Australia Day National Prayer Gathering at the Scots Church in Melbourne, organised by Catch The Fire Ministries and supported by many churches, and ministries, was a great success for the unity of the Body of Christ and the advancement of the Kingdom of God.

 Around 700 Aussie Christians, along with 35 pastors and many other Christian ministers, filled the church in the city of Melbourne. Many carrying their Australian flags were so excited to see so many people of God lift up their hands to worship Jesus as King of kings and LORD of lords! There were people from every single state from across Australia present at the united prayer meeting for our nation’s transformation.

The interdenominational multi-ethnic prayer service started with the the minister from the Scots Church welcoming the people, and a great time of worship led by the CTFM worship team. Then the Uniting Church Minister prayed for Government & Leaders, followed by the AOG Pastor who prayed for protection from bush fires and thanked God for the rain.

As passionate Aussie Christians kept pouring into the auditorium, the place was full of excitement and the mighty presence of God filled the house. More worship was lifted up to heaven as people started interceding and praying for Australia’s revival, awakening, reformation and transformation.

Then the Baptist Minister led prayer for the nation and for revival in Australia. We also had prayer for the business and marketplace led by Brother Peter. Then Pas Daniel spoke on forgiveness and read a message from Pas Mark Conner of City Life Church.  At this point people gathered together and spent time searching their hearts and repented before the Lord from any anger, bitterness, unforgiveness, offence, etc.

Then the Indigenous elder Aunty Margorie from Darwin led in prayer and a song of worship about welcoming the Holy Spirit from the highest mountains to the lowest valleys throughout our nation and hearts. Following this the Catholic priest led the congregation in the Lord’s prayer.

4 powerful healing testimonies at CTFM / Tumor disappears

Dear family & friends in Christ in Australia and around the World,

We thank and praise God for another wonderful weekend in His Almighty Presence!

Yesterday Sunday 8th Jan was testimony time at our morning service at CTFM as many people shared their amazing testimonies in giving God all the glory for the great things He has done!  People listening to these testimonies were mighty blessed. Sunday night was another glorious service with many who were gathered responding to the altar call ‘To go all the way for Jesus’! This service was also webcast live as many watched all across Australia and overseas.

1) One young woman boldly got up and shared her testimony of how she was raped 3 times and that the 3rd time she was almost strangled to death. That it is only by the grace of God that she is still alive. There was pin drop silence in the congregation. Then she said how God had used her to save two young girls aged 13 & 18 who were raped and had attempted suicide several times.  Through her testimony and love the 2 young girls are doing well. Glory to God. Everyone was mightily impacted by her testimony.

 2) Testimony of Barry Willis    29-12-2011

 In September 2011 I was admitted to hospital with severe pain on my left side, and on examination they discovered a  LUMP pressing on the Urethar tube (which joins the kidney to the bladder), it was stopping the flow. They then inserted a STENT to widen the tube releasing the flow once again and relieving the pain, but the stent was only a temporary measure,  which meant that the stent would need to be replaced after 3 months whilst they tried to discover what the lump was.

Protect Your Man of God

At a recent ministers’ conference, there was a seminar entitled, “Protecting the Anointing.” I overheard one minister comment, “Why should we try to protect the anointing? I thought it was the anointing that protected us!” Although his statement is true, it is also true that many times a good message from God can go unheard because of the senseless words of a third party. Let me explain.

A few years ago, I was prepared to deliver a specific word from God to my congregation. I spent much time in prayer and preparation in order to be sensitive to the Holy Spirit. I wanted to deliver the message accurately and in the spirit that I received it. As I turned a corner in the hallway to the auditorium, an usher stepped forward, pointed his finger in my face, and began to tell me how he and his family would be leaving the church because of a letter someone in our church had written. I let him rant and rave for a couple of minutes.

When I asked him what the letter said, still huffing and hyperventilating, he said, “Well, I haven’t actually read it myself, but I know what it says.” The letter wasn’t the issue. The enemy knew that I had a message from God. The enemy also knew who he could use to attempt to spoil the message. The incident did not affect the teaching that day, although it took me a while to refocus. Actually, it made me more determined to deliver God’s message to the people.

After Two Years in a Coma, God Woke Him Up

“Before the coma I denied Jesus. I heard His voice in the coma. He taught me the real meaning of love. Now I’m His.” -Randall Hall

(Laguna Beach, CA)—Randall Hall was once a free-wheeling playboy who traveled the world, went through women like “potato chips,” and dashed around town in his Mercedes 500 SL convertible. Seven clothing boutiques from Laguna Beach to San Francisco provided access to beautiful women ready to lay claim to his indulgent lifestyle. Then he tried to move in on someone else’s girlfriend one night at a bar in this coastal enclave. The woman’s boyfriend savagely attacked Hall after he left the bar, which left him unconscious, lying face down in an alley with blood oozing from a cracked skull.

Randall in a comaTo save Hall’s life, doctors at Mission Hospital induced a coma and removed a portion of his skull to relieve pressure on his brain. After five surgeries and complications due to infection, doctors failed in their attempts to bring Hall out of the coma. He lapsed into a persistent vegetative state for two years. Over time, his body atrophied and curled into a fetal position. His doctor estimated that only 30 percent of his brain function remained. Hooked up to breathing and feeding machines, with no response to sounds or movement, doctors recommended they remove life support.

From the beginning, Hall was a rebel who dropped out of school and became a professional escort at 17-years-old. Drugs, alcohol, sex, and travel fueled his innate passions, but in his early 20s, he found Jesus Christ at Calvary Chapel in Costa Mesa. “It lasted for about a year,” he recalls.

Then he fell back into his old lifestyle, which kicked into high gear. He was a prodigal powered by jet fuel. Hall believes God used the assault and subsequent coma to rescue him from his downward spiral. “I was a bad person,” he admits. “I always took other men’s women,” he says, a practice that led to the violent assault.

“I was going to hell if I died, but God saved my life,” Hall believes.

Sydney Catches the Fire / More than 10,000 Muslim converts to Jesus want to get baptised in Indonesia / Live Webstreaming of AM & PM services this unday at CTFM

1) Glory to God for another weekend full of Kingdom action under the anointing of the Holy Spirit, as the Lord moved mightily in Sydney where Pr Daniel ministered the prophetic Word at a Christmas evangelistic outreach organised by some Indonesian and Korean churches!

Some Indonesian & Korean churches combined together and did an amazing job with music, dance, etc.

The Christmas Love Street Parade was so great and very colourful that it attracted the attention of thousands of people in the CBD of Sydney.

At Park in Sydney, a few hundred people gathered to watch this great afternoon of celebrating the birth of Jesus!

As Pr Daniel spoke on ‘Remembering the Special Gift on Christmas Day” many people passing by watched and listened with great interest.

Additionally, over the weekend several people gave their lives to Jesus, including 2 Indonesian Buddhist men, a taxi driver and a young man from China that were all led to the Lord through Pr Daniel!

The 22 year old young man from China, a university student, came to the house where Pr Daniel was before ministering at the service, gave his life to Jesus, and was very keen to get baptised in water!

After speaking to the leaders of this fellowship, Pr Daniel baptised the young man in the bathtub in their house. As this young man came out of the water, he also received the baptism of the Holy Spirit and burst out praying in tongues! It was just absolutely amazing!

The LOVE FOR AUSTRALIA Christmas Parade starts at 2pm from Hyde Park on the 10th December 2011. For those who want to lend a hand on the day, please come at 12pm sharp. Meeting point is near the Archibald Fountain within Hyde Park (Near St James Station). There are many ways you can be involved such as giving away food and flags to parade spectators,  carrying big banners, or you can simply join and walk with us.

The parade will go down Market St, George St, Liverpool St and end in Tumbalong Park, Darling Harbour. We will then have a Christmas Service/Concert which begins at 3pm, at Tumbalong Park. This is truly an amazing opportunity that God has given us; to worship Him in a public place!
