Dear friends and family in Christ,
Over the last weekend the Spirit of God moved mightily in Mildura as Pas Danny ministered at several combined church services at the Living Waters Church. Many Pastors, Christian believers from others churches, and people from the local community came together to catch the fire of the Holy Spirit! An excellent newspaper article from Jono Pech in the Sunraysia Daily on Saturday morning 15th August (just before the revival meetings) attracted many non-believers to church. This article will be available to read on our website on Wednesday 19th August.Â
Praise God that some surrendered their lives to Jesus as Lord and Savior! Many received supernatural deliverance, healing and restoration from the mighty hand of God!

When I read the brief on what was contained in the National Health Care bill that is now being presented before Congress, I could not believe I was reading something that was actually being considered in the United States of America. This is not about money or government mismanagement—this is about something far more diabolical than that. As incomprehensible as it may seem, this is about euthanasia, the power to determine who lives or dies in America. Hitler and Stalin would have loved to have had a means such as this for dispatching the millions they killed—it would have made their job much easier, and probably given them the ability to kill many more than they did. THIS BILL IS THAT SINISTER. This is not a joke—this is actually the nature of what is being proposed in the National Health Care legislation, and it is the obvious reason why the Obama Administration wants to ram it through Congress before anyone gets a chance to read it.
I have resolved to always be as generous as I can toward people with opposing views of my own. I do this because I believe it is the mandate of I Corinthians 13 to always believe the best about people, rather than the worst. I know this opens me up to be misled by some, but I consider that a small price to pay to not become cynical. I also do it because I think it is wise to always try and understand the position of my opponents—to be open to consider their positions and not be too rigid or inflexible to change because we all “see in part,†and “know in part.†(more…)

Muslim extremists early this morning killed a Christian convert in Mahadday Weyne, Somalia, 62 miles north of Mogadishu.
Al Shabaab Islamist rebels shot Mohammed Sheikh Abdiraman to death at 7 a.m., eyewitnesses told Compass. They said the Islamic extremists appeared to have been hunting the convert from Islam, and when they found him they did not hesitate to shoot him.
The sources told Compass that Abdiraman was the leader of an underground “cell group” of Christians in Somalia.
“We are very sad about this incident, and we also are not safe,” one eyewitness said by telephone. “Pray for us.”
The sources were too distraught to share more details about Abdiraman’s death. Another eyewitness who requested anonymity said Abdiraman had been a Christian for 15 years. He is survived by two children, ages 15 and 10. His wife died three years ago due to illness. (more…)

Some 4,000 Christians have gathered in the nation’s capital this week to learn about Israel and the Middle East, and to tell congressional leaders not to pressure Israel into giving up land to the Palestinians.
Pro-lsrael Christians have come from across the U.S. to participate in the fourth annual Christians United for Israel (CUFI) Washington Summit, which began Monday and runs through Wednesday. The event will give participants an opportunity to demonstrate their support for the Holy Land by lobbying U.S. lawmakers to back the Jewish nation.
“America really shouldn’t be pressuring Israel to make concessions Israelis don’t want to make,” said CUFI executive director David Brog. “Israel has been devoted to the peace process.”
He said Israel has withdrawn “over and over again” and made “painful concessions for peace.”
“But it hasn’t brought peace,” he told Charisma. “It’s brought renewed aggression.”
He said CUFI wants the U.S. to “respect Israel’s allies … and its democracy.” (more…)

A historical move of God swept the capital of Sri Lanka that has not been seen in over 30 years! This was the first major evangelistic meeting during a time of peace that was declared only month ago. As we drove out of the airport huge billboards dominated the roads advertising the meetings with “Do you believe in Miracles” with the information. Everynight was packed out with thousands of people, at least 30% of them were unbelievers. Buddhism is the national religion as all the government officals are Buddhists and the stronghold of original Buddhism is based in Sri Lanka as Buddha set up his base in this nation before he died. Even Buddha’s tooth is enshrined in Sri Lanka.
Dear Friends and Family in Christ,
Following is a link to a very good article from the Saturday 1st August edition of the Geelong Advertiser in Victoria, Australia regarding anti-discrimination legislation as discriminatory and Pastor Danny’s court case fought for freedom of speech and religion.
Attorney General Rob Hulls from the State Government of Victoria wants the exemptions removed from the Racial & Religious Tolerance Act presently given to religious organisations. This will lead to Christian schools being forced to recruit non-Christian teachers, such as Homosexuals, Secular Humanists, Atheists, Muslims, Buddhists, Hindus, New Agers, etc. Furthermore, the proposed Bill of Rights will gag Pastors, Leaders, and all followers of Christ from speaking openly against practices and lifestyles such as Homosexuality, Abortion, Witchcraft, other Religions, and the list goes on and on! Dear family and friends in Christ,
What a glorious and mighty God we serve in this Great South Land of the Holy Spirit!
The Rise Up Australia 9th Anniversary Celebration was a great evening of united prayer, corporate worship and prophetic intercession for the transformation of our nation of Australia. Christians from 38 churches, including many different denominations and ethnic groups, united together as an integral part of the body of Christ in Melbourne. The unity demonstrated was absolutely amazing and as they passionately worshipped the King of kings and Lord of lords, the heavens opened up as the mighty presence of God fell in the place!
The prayer warriors who had gathered cried out to the Father in heaven for a mighty harvest of souls and for the Bride of Christ to be prepared for the 2nd coming of the Lord, with people everywhere declaring ‘Australia for Jesus’! (more…)
A cross-section of conservative Christian groups have united to form a federation that will promote biblical values in political, social and cultural arenas.
Announced Tuesday during a press conference in Washington, D.C., the Freedom Federation comprises more than two dozen groups, including the National Hispanic Christian Leadership Conference, Teen Mania, Liberty University, TheCall, MorningStar Ministries; Concerned Women for America, the High Impact Leadership Coalition and Strang Communications, which publishes Charisma magazine.
“There is nothing that has ever existed on this kind of broad-based, large scale that is truly multiethnic and transgenerational,” said Mathew D. Staver, founder of Liberty Counsel, which is a founding member of the federation. “So it really provides a unique component to [address] these issues that has never existed before.”
Staver said the groups signed a Declaration of American Values, which affirms 10 principles including the sanctity of life, traditional marriage, religious liberty and limited government. He said the organization is primarily spiritual, but federation members will network to mobilize their constituents to protect those values when challenged politically or socially. (more…)

‘You don’t want to enter list of those who raised a hand against Jerusalem’
By Aaron Klein
Â
JERUSALEM – Leading rabbis in Israel released a petition yesterday demanding President Obama cease pressuring the Jewish state on the issue of Jerusalem.
“Jerusalem is off limits, and we respectfully request that you stop all talk and pressure against Jewish construction in Jerusalem,” reads a petition signed by 250 members of the Rabbinical Congress for Peace.
The Congress is a coalition of Israeli rabbinic leaders, including pulpit rabbis and some of the most prestigious names in the Torah community.
“During these days when our nation mourns the destruction of Jerusalem and remembers in abhorrence those that destroyed it, we are sure that you, Mr. President, do not want to enter the list of those who raised a hand on Jerusalem and its Jewish inhabitants,” the rabbis write.
The rabbis state that besides the sanctity of Jerusalem, it is “totally illogical” to “even think” about negotiating with the Palestinians, pointing out “every piece of territory” taken over by the Palestinian Authority was turned into a sanctuary for terrorism and a launching for attacks against Jews. There is only one good thing about the Obama administration’s attempts to nationalize most health care and to begin to control Americans’ energy consumption through cap and trade: clarity about the left. These attempts are enabling more and more Americans to understand the thinking and therefore the danger of the left.
The left has its first president – with the possible exception of Franklin Delano Roosevelt – and for the first time controls the Democratic Party and both houses of Congress. In the name of compassion for the sick and the poor and in the name of preventing worldwide environmental catastrophe, it is attempting to remake America.
In so doing some principles of the left are becoming clearer to more Americans:
Principle 1: The left, as distinct from traditional liberals, is not, and has never been, interested in creating wealth. The left is no more interested in creating wealth than Christians are in creating Muslims or Muslims in creating Christians. The left is interested in redistributing wealth, not creating it. The left spends the wealth that private enterprise and entrepreneurial risk-taking individuals create. (more…)
Dear family & friends in Christ,
Following are 3 powerful testimonies of the Lord’s miraculous healing and supernatural restoration as a result of a mighty outpouring of the Holy Ghost when Pastor Danny and a team from Catch the Fire ministered in Colac, Victoria from the 1st – 2nd August. We pray that you will be greatly blessed by the great things the Father in Heaven continues to do for His Glory!
Healing Testimony 1 “On the evening of the 1st of August 2009, I went out the front of the church to the healing line. Here, Pastor Danny anointed me with oil and I said to him, “I do not wish to fall down as I’ve just had stents put in both my legs.†He arranged a chair for me to sit on. After a few seconds I felt my both legs becoming hot; then they felt as if they were growing huge as the Holy Spirit worked on me. There were strange movements in the legs then pins and needles. As they subsided my legs began to feel normal, no pain, but slightly numb. I felt the Holy Spirit move up my right arm, and as it hit spots where I’d previously felt pain months before, I felt the same pain as I’d felt before. The same happened to the other arm, then I felt a sharp pain in the heart area twice, and felt fearful for a moment, wondering what was going to happen next. When I stood up I was like a drunk woman, and couldn’t balance or walk straight. Gradually after I went home, I was able to walk straight. I was so happy, so grateful as I’d never felt the Holy Spirit before, but had been prayed for after baptism to receive the Holy Spirit 50 years before, although I did see visions over the years.I woke up this morning, 2nd of August 2009, with no pain whatsoever, and will feel eternally grateful for the Lord’s gift of healing through the Holy Spirit.
