Christians, Jewish Leaders Protest Iran President Outside UN

Wednesday, 22 September 2010 01:54 PM EDT Adrienne S. Gaines News

Christians joined with Jewish leaders Tuesday to protest the appearance of Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad at the United Nations General Assembly this week.

Representatives from the New York Board of Rabbis and Eagles’ Wings’ ministry formed a human chain outside the United Nations building in New York, singing and blowing a shofar to condemn the U.N.’s inclusion of Ahmadinejad, who has called for Israel to be “wiped off the map.”

“Anyone who is concerned about human rights, anyone who is concerned about the basic values of human rights that the United Nations purports be founded on needs to take a stand against this tyrant, this despot Ahmadinejad,” said Robert Stearns, founder of Eagles’ Wings, a New York-based Christian ministry that supports Israel through prayer and social outreach.

Do You Want Supernatural Favor?

Joyce MeyerGod has crowned man with glory and favor, giving him dominion over the works of His hands.

When I first began my ministry, I was scared. In those days, women were not as widely accepted in the pulpit as they are today. Afraid of being rejected, I bent over backward to behave in the way I thought would please people. The only problem was that I was trying to earn approval, and it didn’t work.

At the time, I knew nothing about supernatural favor. I didn’t realize that favor is a part of grace. In fact, in the New Testament the words grace and favor both are translated from the Greek word charis.

The grace of God is the favor of God. And the grace of God causes good things to happen in our lives through the channel of faith. It is not by human power or might but through God’s Spirit of grace that we find favor with God and man.

Military Troops Request More Scripture in Afghanistan

solidiers at the frontThursday, 11 November 2010 04:00 PM EST Danielle Tomlinson News – Featured News

Since October there has been an overwhelming demand from troops in Afghanistan for the Military BibleStick, an MP3 audio Bible with the entire New Testament preloaded from Faith Comes By Hearing (FCBH).

Military chaplains overseas have recently requested more than 20,000 audio Bibles for the troops. FCBH reports they will be able to meet about half of their need.  “Our heart as a ministry is to provide the Scriptures in audio to anyone who asks,” said Jon Wilke, spokesman for the Military BiblesStick project. “However, the demand for these devices—for God’s Word in audio format—has just been overwhelming.”

The Military BibleSticks are sent to military chaplains free of charge based on donations from churches and other organizations. The audio Bibles retail for $25 and FCBH has distributed more than 70,000 BibleSticks to military troops overseas in Iraq, Kuwait, Kosovo and Afghanistan since 2008.

Belief in Christ still the biggest

By Barney Zwartz – The Age Newspaper

December 13, 2010

CHRISTIANITY remains the world’s biggest religion, but Islam is catching up while non-belief increased enormously over the past century but is now in sharp decline, according to the Christian Research Association.

Australian religious trends of rising agnosticism and declining Christianity contradict most of the world, the association reports in its December bulletin.

The bulletin quotes the findings of the Centre for the Study of Global Christianity, which compares the state of global religions in 1910 and 2010.

Christians made up 34.8 per cent of the world’s 1.75 billion people in 1910, and 33.2 per cent of the 6.9 billion today. But where a century ago most Christians lived in Europe and North America, today most live in Africa and South America.

Muslims have risen from 12.6 per cent in 1910 to 22.4 per cent today, and Hindus from 12.7 to 13.7 per cent. Agnostics have risen from 0.2 to 9.3 per cent or 640 million people, while atheists have risen from less than 0.1 per cent to 2 per cent, or 138 million.

Jesus is the Reason for the Season / A wonderful night of Christmas Carols

Christmas Carols with Candles at CTFMDear family & friends in Christ,

Oh, how we wish each of you were here to join us last night Sunday the 12th of December at our very special CTFM Christmas Carol service!

If you could not make it, you missed a glorious night of exuberant singing of Christmas carols, praise & worship. The CTFM Apostolic Centre in Hallam (Melbourne) was packed out with many families bringing their children to enjoy a very special night together celebrating the birth of the Christ child, enjoying delicious food and fellowship as the body of Christ.

The DVD will be available shortly for $15 plus postage. Please call our office on (03) 9794 8211 or email angelene@reformationharvestfire.com

The night started off with an exciting time of praise to King Jesus and then moved into a wonderful time of Christmas carol singing, starting with ‘Joy to the world, the Lord has come!’ The CTFM Sunday school children sang ‘Away in a Manger’ on stage as everyone was so blessed to see the little ones giving God the glory.

This followed by a very special couple, Victor & Christine (the parents of Tania G) singing ‘Mary’s Boy Child & Silver Bells”. The crowd joined and started singing along which was beautiful.

Then Pr Jenny Jack read the Story of the Nativity from Scripture from Luke 2:1-20  followed by a CTFM youth who read out a fantastic poem that he had written which blessed the hearts of many. There was more singing of carols and then the CTFM youth sang a special song as everyone stood on their feet giving glory to God.

Pr Daniel shared a brief message and said, “Christmas is the only possible time most people think of Jesus. When we walk into a shopping centre, you hear the name of the Lord Jesus Christ mentioned through the carols which are played. This is a wonderful time to share Jesus with everyone you know.

Loosed from Chains

Being set fee in Jesus Name!5 October 2010 Gospel for Asia

Demon possession is a common occurrence in South Asia. In Umed’s case, it was so severe his family kept him chained.

Chains held Umed down. They were the only things that worked to tame the 17-year-old boy when demons took control of his body and gave him unnatural strength.

Umed had chains wrapped around him when Gospel for Asia-supported missionary Aiman Patil met him.

Aiman immediately knew the source of Umed’s suffering and felt moved to share the Gospel with his family. When he did, he helped them understand that Umed’s condition could be healed only through prayer and belief in Jesus Christ, who has the power to deliver people.

As Feared: London borough becomes ‘Islamic republic’

Lutfur RahmanFriday, October 22, 2010 Atlas

As predicted here at Atlas, the vile Islamic supremacist, through massive voter fraud (isn’t always how they get their way?), has taken the election.

In my New York Times interview here, I repeated what I have said and thought for some time — that the first country that will be Islamic in Europe will be the U.K. This terrible election victory just validates my prediction. An Islamic supremacist with fundamentalist links was elected Executive Mayor of Tower Hamlet council, with control of over a billion dollar budget.

Mind you, he was previously fired for extremist ties. But the Islamic machine went into overdrive and fraudulently gamed the system. Tower Hamlets moved from a conventional leader system to a mayoralty this year as a result of a campaign spearheaded by the Muslim extremist group the IFE. IFE’s Abu Talha told an undercover reporter for The Sunday Telegraph and Channel 4’s Dispatches: “The mayor is going to have a lot more control. That’s why we need to get someone, one of our brothers, in there. Which we will do.”

And they did.

Labour: London borough becomes ‘Islamic republic’ Telegraph

Outside the Wellington Way polling station in Tower Hamlets yesterday, as at many other polling stations in the borough, people had to run a gauntlet of Lutfur Rahman supporters to reach the ballot box. As one Bengali woman voter went past them, we heard one of the Rahman army scolding her for her “immodest dress.”

Humans, Demons Oppose Women’s Film Teams

Women\'s Film TeamASSIST News Service   Wednesday, November 3, 2010

Despite intense opposition, this women’s film team is seeing lost men and women come to the Lord as a result of showing a film on the life of Jesus.

SOUTH ASIA (ANS) — Two Gospel for Asia-supported women’s film teams rejoiced with prayers and songs of peace when they reported back to their state office.

They also shared tales of fierce opposition—and not only from human beings.

One team, led by GFA-supported national missionary Anvita Goda, was going house-to-house in a village where they were showing a film about the life of Jesus when they encountered a supernatural barrier.

A kind man named Mr. Bakhula invited them into his home and sat down as they began showing him the film about Jesus. Suddenly, his wife, Meenal, came home and began shouting at the missionaries, angry that her husband was allowing them to show the film.

Power of Prayer

The local pastor, who was accompanying the women, prayed for the Lord to control the situation, and Mrs. Bakhula became silent. Then, suddenly, she began speaking in a voice that was clearly not hers, and the missionary team realized that she was possessed by a demon.

Atheism Becoming the New Religion, Evangelicals Warned

Lausanne Cape Town 2010-Carver YuBy Maria Mackay|Christian Today Reporter

Carver Yu, president and professor in dogmatics at the China Graduate School of Theology in Hong Kong, talks about the challenges of pluralism and atheism at the Third Lausanne Congress on World Evangelization on Monday, October 18, 2010, in Cape Town, South Africa

He said the recent advertising campaign by Richard Dawkins and other atheists on London buses was a perfect example of the “enthusiastic zeal” with which atheists were campaigning against Christianity and religion.

“Atheism is about to become the new religion,” he said. “Christians must preach the Gospel of Jesus Christ fearlessly because he is the way, the truth and the life. Only he can lead us away from the present state of godlessness.”

Yu was addressing more than 4,000 evangelical leaders from around the world at Cape Town 2010, the Third Lausanne Congress on world evangelization taking place this week in the South African city.

Labor pay price for 7 months abortion laws – Now is time to repeal law

Pastor Daniel NalliahMedia release – For immediate release

The demise of the Labor party in Victoria is a result of the pernicious abortion laws in this state.

That’s the statement from Catch the Fire Ministries president Rev Dr Daniel Nalliah who said the legalised killing (Murder) of the most helpless and voiceless humans amongst us resulted in God’s intervention to remove the Labor party from power in Victoria.

“According to the last Australian census, most people in our nation believe that there is a God above who watches down upon us. If this is true, which I know for a fact it is, He certainly has shown us in Victoria that He will not turn a blind eye against a government that legalised the killing (Murder) of the most helpless and voiceless humans amongst us,” Pastor Nalliah said.

“Over the last several years, tens of thousands of God-fearing and bible-believing Christians across Australia have prayed and tried their best to stop this horrible law from legalising the killing of babies up to birth, through the seven months and over abortion laws, which should be called the worst form of murder,” he said.

“However a very anti-Christian government with 80+ percent of its members voted in favour of the bill that went through State Parliament, and became law in October 2008.

“Soon after that a clear sign of God’s providential hand of conditional protection lifting off our nation (2 Chronicles 7:13-14) was seen during the 2009 bush fires which destroyed much land, homes and many precious lives. Did God kill them?  The answer is a BIG NO!  However, if you kick God out of Government, law, and order, and start killing His precious creations in the womb, which is supposed to be the most secure place for the little ones, then you have to expect an open door for the devil’s deathly destruction.

“The Bible states in the Gospel of John 10:10 that the thief (Satan) has come to steal, kill and destroy, but Jesus has come to give life and life more abundantly.

First Water Baptism Service / CTFM Christmas Carols this Sunday 12th Dec

Candidates after water baptism at CTFMPastors Daniel and Rick baptising John
Dear family & friends in Christ,

It’s with great joy to bring to your attention that on Sunday the 5th Dec 2010 we had our first water baptism service since we started ‘Catch The Fire Apostolic Centre’ in February 2010, under CTFM which has been functioning for the past 12 years across Australia and throughout the nations.

The people of God rejoiced and gave glory to the Lord as their families & friends gathered to celebrate this monumental experience in the lives of 8 people who were baptised in water in fulfilling the Word of God in Matthew 28:19 and Mark 16:16.  Each person shared their personal faith and trust in the Lord Jesus Christ for their salvation.

We were also very excited as 3 new precious souls were born-again into the Kingdom of Heaven as they were mightily touched by the presence and Word of God, which resulting in them surrendering their lives to Jesus as personal Lord and Saviour.

Canadian Prime Minister Stephen Harper Declares He’ll Stand with Israel No Matter What

Israel FlagCanada PMby Aimee Herd : Nov 10, 2010 : CTV Toronto, YouTube.com

“There are, after all, a lot more votes—a lot more—in being anti-Israeli than in taking a stand. But, as long as I am Prime Minister—whether it is at the United Nations, the Francophonie, or anywhere else, Canada will take that stand whatever the cost.”

On Monday, Canada’s Prime Minister, Stephen Harper, gave a compelling speech on Parliament Hill in Ottawa, as he declared his—and the country’s—commitment to standing with the nation of Israel.
