Messianic Revival In Israel?

In Israel, a resurgence in the number of Jews who believe in Jesus is getting a lot of attention.Many leaders say it’s the strongest growth since the time of Jesus andthat the Messianic movement could be on the brink of a great revival.

‘This is the first time where we’ve seen Israeli society in generalbeing so open to consider who Yeshua is,’ said Messianic leader AsherIntrater. ‘This is a real miracle, and there’s beginning to be graceand favor with us in the land.’

Although Jesus and the early disciples were Jewish, for nearly 2,000 the gospel has been viewed as a religion mainly for Gentiles. Even thename Jesus or Yeshua has been a forbidden word among many Jews. But inthe last few years, Messianic leaders in Israel say something importantis happening. (more…)

Pope Calls For Christian Values In The Public Square

World Youth Day in Sydney has seen an unprecedented public proclamation of the Gospel of Christ through the Australian media.

Far from just a call to private faith behind the four walls of a church, this event has like no other, challenged, questioned and confronted secular society with the social claims of the Christian Gospel.

Images of thousands of happy young Christians celebrating against the backdrop of Sydney’s spectacular harbour have been beamed in to living rooms throughout Australia and overseas.

Not only has the Pope exhorted people to turn to Christ for their own individual salvation, but his messages have questioned modern society’s greed, lack of concern for the poor and moral breakdown. (more…)

Now into its 7th week, thousands from across Australia (and a few overseas visitors) have come to these meetings to meet with the Lord, to be mightily changed – touched, revived, refreshed, renewed and set on fire for God!

As the Melbourne meetings continued over the weekend, Pastor Danny visited Sydney and spoke in Blacktown at a Catch The Fire/Rise Up Australia Prayer and Revival meeting and then in the Blue Mountains NSW, at a Mighty Men of God Conference.

Lady Healed From complete deafness in her Right earPastor Danny reports: “The Fire of God mightily fell at both meetings. The CTFM meeting saw many people healed physically as well as spiritually. A wonderful miracle in Sydney was a woman who was 80% deaf in both ears and could not hear clearly at all without hearing aids. As I prayed she received her healing instantly no longer needing her hearing aids. As people watched this healing their faith was enlarged; they were mightily moved by the Presence and Power of God, many flocking to the altar for an impartation from the Lord God Almighty, hungry for Him and drinking from His River of Life. My son James and I (Rose) are travelling back to Canberra after 3nights in Melbourne specifically to attend Catch The Fire meetings at Hallam. After leaving home in ACT at 8:3oam Fri 11th July and different public transport James and I finally arrived at Hallam railway station at 9pm to a cheer squad who transported us straight to revival meeting. People were lining up for prayer. James and I were introduced to Danny and Jason as Canberra people. After about 10 mins in the prayer line Danny prayed for me, and did I get a blast in the Holy Spirit.  I experienced such a powerful shaking in the Lord, more powerful than I’ve ever known before. Later that night l was standing next to an entire Muslim family, they had all just received Jesus Christ as Lord and Saviour. we were all so excited, After giving the mother a hug I danced in celebration with the 3 Muslim children. World Youth Day: Pope Blesses Australia, Urges Hope

Pope Benedict XVITHE Pope has christened Australia the “great southern land of the Holy Spirit” and urged young people troubled by the state of the world to seek answers in faith.

Pope Benedict made the comments in his official message to Australians and to pilgrims for World Youth Day, released to The Sunday Telegraph to coincide with his arrival today for the week-long Catholic youth festival.

The Pope’s plane, Shepherd One, touched down in Darwin for a brief refuelling stop shortly after 9am ACST (9.30am AEST).  After picking up Darwin’s bishop, who brought the pontiff a painting of an Aboriginal Madonna and child, the flight to Sydney resumed.

Prime Minister Kevin Rudd and Premier Morris Iemma will meet the 81-year-old when the papal plane touches down at Richmond Air Force Base, on Sydney’s northwestern outskirts, at 3pm (AEST) this afternoon. (more…)

Day 34 – Holy Ghost Fire Continues To Fall In Melbourne And Revival Spreads To Newcastle, NSW

Jason prays for a touch from the Holy SpiritExpressions of praise, worship and adoration were evident as the people of God came together to give thanks for all that He is, among them in His manifest goodness, glory and love!  The Spirit of God is truly making His presence felt at Hallam in the South Eastern Suburbs of Melbourne, dwelling with those who gather with hungry hearts to meet with their Maker.  The Lord is continually given all the glory as He supernaturally heals, creatively restores, and releases hope to so many, through lifting depression, oppression, and setting many into His glorious liberty! How gracious is our Almighty Heavenly Father!

Healing from partial paralysis after car accidentThis morning a young lady (who has been attending the Revival meetings regularly) called in to the office to collect some more brochures, explaining that due to the motivation received through the Revival meetings, she has now chosen to catch the train to work so she can evangelise and share Jesus on the way!  She is on fire with God’s love and passion to see those in the prisons of darkness come into the joy of knowing Jesus personally and living the life of Christ in an abundant and fulfilling way. She said, “At first it was scary, but most people really are open to hearing about Jesus – and we just need to get over the fear that they may not want to know.” Her face was radiating God’s love, alight with joy, as she bubbled over sharing this testimony with me! (Virginia)—In a research brief this month, Bradford Wilcox, a sociology professor at the University of Virginia, analyzed three national studies in order to discover if “there is any evidence that religion is playing a role in encouraging a strong family orientation among contemporary American men?” His research led him to conclude that men who regularly attend Christian services are engaged in happier and stronger marriages and are more involved in the lives of their children than men who do not. Lord Chief Justice Nicholas PhillipsExplosive: The Lord Chief Justice’s endorsement of Sharia law has already created huge controversy

The most senior judge in England yesterday gave his blessing to the use of sharia law to resolve disputes among Muslims.

Lord Chief Justice Lord Phillips said that Islamic legal principles could be employed to deal with family and marital arguments and to regulate finance.

He declared: ‘Those entering into a contractual agreement can agree that the agreement shall be governed by a law other than English law.’

In his speech at an East London mosque, Lord Phillips signalled approval of sharia principles as long as punishments – and divorce rulings – complied with the law of the land. (more…)

Day 26 – Holy Spirit Fire Continues To Fall In Melbourne Healing Revivial!

Dear Family and Friends in Christ,

It is with great excitement that we continue to bring you updates on the mighty outpouring of the Spirit of God in the South Eastern Suburbs of Melbourne that is increasingly spreading as Revival Fire across our nation of Australia! I’m sure that much of the Body of Christ is rejoicing as the prophesied day of His holy visitation in Australia in power and glory has finally come! Now, whether we let this move of God pass us by, or we catch this wave of the Holy Spirit by turning this visitation into a holy habitation of His presence and glory, depends entirely on the response of the Church in Australia!
