Businessman-Turned- Evangelist Believes Revival Is Coming To U.S.

By Adrienne S. Gaines News

David Turner & Harry GomesMay 14, 2009 — David Turner has seen the deaf receive their hearing and the blind gain their sight at crusades across India, Mexico and Malaysia. But the Phoenix-based businessman-turned evangelist believes a revival of miracles will soon hit the U.S.

“I believe God is about to do an explosion in America,” said Turner, who has seen thousands healed during large-scale crusades he led in India with evangelist Harry Gomes (pictured, left). “We will start seeing [healings and miracles] even with stadiums of people.”

Turner is expecting the miracles to begin this week, when he hosts the Harvest America Healing Explosion at the 14,000-seat Veterans Memorial Coliseum in Phoenix. More than 120 churches across the city will participate in the three-day event, which begins Friday and includes a food giveaway for needy families.

Turner expects at least 20,000 people to participate during the three days. He believes hundreds will be saved, plugged into a church and healed. (more…)

Mr Obama, Are We Crazy Or Are You?

By Pastor Danny Nalliah

Barack ObamaDear family & friends in Christ around the world,

In the past 10 days we have seen the highest hypocrisy in US politics. Who is President Barrack Hussein Obama trying to deceive?  A question well worth asking. Do Bible-believing God-fearing Christians still believe that he is a fair dinkum (real) Christian??

We all know that Obama declared the month of June as ‘Gay Pride Month’ and called on all Americans to celebrate the abomination of Homosexuality.

See http://www.whitehouse.gov/the_press_office/Presidential-Proclamation-LGBT-Pride-Month/

Then he cancelled the US Government’s official participation in the National Day of Prayer, refusing access into the White House for Christians to pray.  Two African American Pastors who prayed outside the White House were arrested.

Is this crazy political correctness or what? Does this sound like a true Christian President???  Why are so many Christians so terribly deceived? Have we lost our fundamental values and forgotten the tenants of our Christian faith? (more…)

Israeli FlagAs Israel prepares for what could be an attack or a counter attack from Iran, one thing remains  certain, we here in Israel are certainly preparing for war.  With constant preparations of our missile defense systems the Arrow anti-missile, the THAAD and something I believe to be new for Israel the AEGIS.  The IDF, IAF and Reserves are training every week now for different types of seniors.  It is now known that Iran has the capabilities of sending split warheads, and a large barrage of missiles at one time.  With the new radar bases set up in Israel it is possible to have several minutes of warning after Iran launches the first missile.

What I am about to say may come as a surprise to most reading this.  It is my belief that Iran is not all that ready to attack Israel, for they know it would be committing suicide for the majority of its people.  That does not mean that Israel isn’t on their agenda simply because from child hood Arabs are taught to hate and to kill Jews.  But what Iran is most interested in at this point is total control of the Persian Gulf, Israel isn’t in there way for taking  control, but the US Navy is.  As Iran keeps all the attention on the possibility of  wiping Israel off the map, (not likely) instead of what they are really planning  and that is a massive attack on the USA.  It has been reported in the past that they have been working on the capability to launch Ballistic Missiles off of commercial cargo ships that will be in range  of the US coast lines with no problem giving them the ability to reach any US city almost at will.  Even though it is never spoken of, there are few who don’t believe Iran has already purchased nuclear warheads for many of their missiles, and we are suppose to believe they can only obtain them by making their own. Then it is no secret that sleepers cells have been put into place across the US as well and waiting on the orders to go into action.  In the mean time all eyes are on the ancient war between Ishmael and Isaac and to be certain that war does exist and will continue to go forward until the Prince of Peace returns.  (more…)

Obama Youth Brigade: Church Attendance Forbidden

By Jonas Clark
http://www.thevoicemagazine.com/politics/512-obama-youth-brigade-church-attendance-forbidden.html

Is this the change you really voted for? President Obama has only been in office for two months. Now we have HR 1388. The Bill was sponsored by Rep. Carolyn McCarthy (D-NY) with 37 others. The Bill was introduced to the floor of the House of Representatives where both Republicans and Democrats voted 321-105 in favor. Next it goes to the Senate for a vote and then on to President Obama.

This bill’s title is called “Generations Invigorating Volunteerism and Education” (GIVE). It forms what some are calling “Obama’s Youth Brigade.” Obama’s plan is require anyone receiving school loans and others to serve at least three months as part of the brigade. His goal is one million youth! This has serious Nazi Germany overtones to it.

The Bill would forbid any student in the brigade to participate in “engaging in religious instruction, conducting worship services, providing instruction as part of a program that includes mandatory religious instruction or worship, constructing or operating facilities devoted to religious instruction or worship, maintaining facilities primarily or inherently devoted to religious instruction or worship, or engaging in any form of religious proselytization.” That means no church attendance or witnessing. Salt Shakers E-News – So You Thought We Were Kidding

So you thought we were kidding!

When we said that appeasing bad laws by seeking exemptions is wrong many of you probably said “they’re mad”. Well here is evidence from the UK as to why we say it is wrong. Because once you have the bad law with the exemptions you start the countdown to their removal. So by not totally opposing the law and compromising YOU ULTIMATELY LOSE. Appeasement only gives temporary relief.

This is what happened in Britain – most Christian groups/denominations did not oppose the laws, they asked for exemptions – and yesterday’s headlines read…

Law ‘will force churches to employ gay staff’

Churches will be banned from turning down gay job applicants on the grounds of their sexuality under new anti-discrimination laws, a Government minister said. (more…)

Hispanic Christians Rally Against Gay Marriage in New York

By Adrienne S. Gaines

Sen. Rubén Díaz Hispanic pastors in New York are mobilizing to oppose a gay marriage bill that passed in the state Assembly Tuesday night.

Led by Democratic New York state Sen. Rubén Díaz (pictured), a Pentecostal pastor in the Bronx, tens of thousands of Christians are expected to gather outside Gov. David Patterson’s Manhattan offices on Sunday afternoon to protest his moves to bring same-sex marriage to the state.

Díaz, who is ordained through the Church of God (Cleveland, Tenn.), said Patterson disrespected the Catholic, Jewish and evangelical communities by introducing the gay marriage bill April 16, just days after Easter and Passover week.

“I’m telling the governor he’s being disrespectful,” said Díaz, pastor of Christian Community Neighborhood Church in the Bronx. “On Sunday, it is a good possibility that someone in the rally will ask him to resign.”

A similar gay marriage bill passed in the state Assembly in 2007 but failed in the Senate. Díaz said that the Assembly’s 89-52 vote Tuesday night was no major victory because the Senate lacks the 32 votes needed to pass the measure, even though there are 32 Democratic senators. (more…)

Unveiling The Man Of Sin – Possible Identity Of The Antichrist

Dear family and friends in Christ around the World,

Could Prince Hassan Bin Talal Be The Anti-Christ?Pastor Danny stated, ‘In my 26 years in Christian ministry, I have repeatedly heard about the End-times, the Antichrist, and the Second Coming of Jesus Christ, so many times by so many different Preachers and Bible Scholars. But nothing has stirred my spirit as much as the following presentation by Dr Joe Vankoevering, a Prophetic Teacher and Scholar of the Word of God. I have always sensed so strongly that there could be a very big possibility of the Antichrist being a man from the Islamic faith.  I pray that you will be prophetically challenged and spiritually awakened to realize how close we could be to the Second Coming of our Lord and Savior!’

Following is the link to the written transcript of an excellent biblical based and prophetic DVD on the possible identity of the Antichrist, the Unveiling of the Man of Sin!

Please note that after clicking the following link to read pg 1 of the transcript, you must click each additional link to read the 14 page document page by page.

Pentecostalism, Version 20.09

By J. Lee Grady

At my second daughter’s college graduation this weekend I saw the future of our movement.

Some people twitch or roll their eyes when you say the word Pentecostal. The term conjures up outdated images of either (1) slick-haired, Bible-thumping preachers who spew saliva on the unfortunate souls seated in the first three pews, or (2) scowling women with their hair in buns who know how to scare you with glossolalia.

Say goodbye to the worn-out stereotypes. Last weekend I saw the future of the Pentecostal movement when my wife and I attended a graduation ceremony at Emmanuel College, the liberal arts school in northeast Georgia that was founded 90 years ago by the International Pentecostal Holiness Church. What we witnessed on Saturday was a refreshing reminder that God has raised up a new generation of young people who are empowered by the Holy Spirit.

“Today’s Christian college students are nauseated by any kind of religious hype, whether it’s blow-dried evangelists, insincere appeals for offerings, faked healings, goofy buzzwords or schmaltzy Christian pop music.” (more…)

What A Glorious Weekend – The Spirit & Fire Of Pentecost

Dear family and friends in Christ,

The recent Pentecost weekend was so glorious, as many people from many cultures radically experienced the mighty wind of the Spirit of God blowing through Australia and the nations of the world!

We at Catch the Fire Ministries were so excited and overjoyed to have joined hundreds of millions of Christians around the world on Pentecost Sunday for the Global Day of Prayer in seeking God’s face for the healing, revival, and transformation of the nations, in addition to have thanked God for rain and celebrated the National Day of Thanksgiving in Australia on Sunday 31st May 2009.

I am sure that the hundreds who gathered over the weekend where Pastor Danny was ministering will testify that they experienced possibly a glimpse of the first day of Pentecost some 2000 years ago when the Holy Spirit was first poured out!  Pastor Danny first ministered on Saturday in Endeavor Hills in a packed out upper room to a group of Hungarian and Serbian Christians very hungry for the mighty presence of God! Many were greatly impacted through the ministry of the Word of God and were so blessed by the Lord’s unconditional love for His children!  Following the meeting was a great feast of delicious food! Pastor Danny stated, ‘We first had a Spiritual Feast and now a great natural feast!” The place was buzzing with great joy in the Spirit! (more…)

Rescue Sri Lanka – Summer Clothes Needed Desperately

Dear family & friends in Christ,

Firstly, I would like to thank everyone of you for your ongoing prayer support for the nation of Sri Lanka, which appears to have just finished a bloody civil war. It is reported that in the past few months thousands of civilians have died and many more injured due to the horrific fighting in Sri Lanka. The government has declared that they have captured all areas controlled by the rebels (LTTE) and that the war is officially over.

However, now comes this most important season of rebuilding this war-torn region, where hundreds of thousands of people are either displaced or have become refugees. My family members who live in Colombo (the capital city )have shared with me some good news that for possibly the very first time Buddhist monks and other clergyman from other religions, along with people from all different race groups were collecting much needed food, water and other essential supplies for the people in the north of the country. Gospel For Asia Workers Helping Sri Lankans Displaced By Civil War

By News Release

Sri Lankan FlagThere are reports of individual Believers ministering to the people in the camps.

(Carrollton, TX)—Gospel for Asia-supported missionaries, workers and lay leaders are reaching out to thousands of Sri Lankans displaced by the most recent battles between the government and the Tamil Tigers rebel group. The United Nations estimates that about 50,000 civilians are trapped by the conflict. They are crowded onto a tiny strip of land that has been designated by the government as a “safe zone.”

Workers representing GFA are providing for the needs of people in the government-run camps. The workers are delivering sandals for the people, many of whom wore out their own sandals walking to the camps. They are also providing books for the makeshift schools operating in the camps, along with food. (more…)

The Power Of A Mother’s Prayer

By Ruth L. Whitfield      Charisma Channels – Women

I remember seeing my mother kneeling at the side of her bed and praying aloud for each of her children and grandchildren. That memory is forever etched in my mind and I will never forget sensing a strong presence of God through her intercession. I came away with a sense of reverential fear and trust that no matter what would happen to any of us, God would honor her prayers on our behalf.

My mother is in glory now and it’s a comfort to know that the Lord continues to honor those prayers. It encourages me to continue to pray for my own children and grandchildren no matter how uncertain their futures or what they are currently facing. (more…)
