Jewish Reporter Moved By Genuine Christian Friendship

Pat RobertsonBy Teresa Neumann – The Jerusalem Post

“With so many challenges facing the Jewish state, it is time we recognize a clear and cogent fact: There are large numbers of Christians around the world ready and willing to stand with us. And, I might add, thank God for that.”

(Jerusalem)—A recent column in the Jerusalem Post by Michael Freund exhorts the Jewish community to embrace Christians as true friends. Freund prefaces his article by recalling his reception at Rev. Pat Robertson’s CBN station in Virginia Beach a week earlier.

Said Freund: “I was moved by the level of heartfelt support for the Jewish state among the staff members. Nearly everyone had been to Israel numerous times, and they described in great detail, and with genuine passion, their profound love for the country and its people.” (more…)

Australians Not So Sceptical About Jesus, Survey Finds

Dear Friends and Family in Christ,

We’re forwarding the following newspaper article from the Age for your unceasing prayer and evangelistic action!

Let’s continue to rise up as the Body of Christ to reap an ever increasing harvest of souls in Australia for Jesus!

By Barney Zwartz  – The Age

MORE than four in 10 Australians who don’t consider themselves “born again” nevertheless believe Jesus rose from the dead, while one in 10 doesn’t believe he even existed.

These are two of the surprising results from an independent survey of 2500 Australians, according to noted author and church historian John Dickson, co-director of the Centre for Public Christianity in Sydney.

The survey, to be released today, showed that 42 per cent of Australians believe Jesus had divine powers and 54 per cent believe he rose from the dead. But even among those who do not identify as born again, 45 per cent believe in the resurrection. Dr Dickson said this certainly included agnostics and secularists because the total was far higher than the remaining Christians surveyed.

“We are staggered. We thought the survey would show the profound scepticism of Australians,” he said. “Instead it shows there is a base-level assumption among the Australian public that accepts the Jesus story even if it has no relevance to their lives.” (more…)

Survey Finds That Most Americans Would Welcome A Friend’s Invite To Church

By Aimee Herd – Christian Post, CBN News

Sharing“…63 percent would listen to a family member tell of their church, and a surprising 56 percent would actually accept an invitation…”

EDITOR’S NOTE: This survey is helpful to keep in mind as we consider our friends, family and neighbors who don’t yet know the Lord, or who feel disconnected from a church. Many times we figure they will not be open to hear about a fellowship we may attend, and so we don’t mention it. Perhaps we should in light of this new research. We just never know who the Lord may draw through a simple invitation! –Aimee Herd, BCN.

According to a recent survey by LifeWay Research, over half of Americans said they would “attend church if invited by a friend or family member.” (more…)

Hospital Bans Bibles, Crosses From Chapel

Mosman Mayor Dominic Lopez inside the RNS chapelWORSHIPPERS at one of the state’s largest hospital chapels have been ordered to get rid of crucifixes and Bibles and pull down religious pictures and symbols for fear of offending other religions.

The decision by Royal North Shore Hospital has outraged patients and their families, many of whom have turned to the chapel for comfort in their darkest hours.

Hospital managers ordered the ban on symbols of any kind because the chapel was increasingly being used by a number of different faiths.

But Mosman Mayor Dominic Lopez said angry patients were offended that the chapel no longer represented a holy place.

Ban will incite fear, religious leaders say

“I used to sit there and pray when my wife was dying of breast cancer and look at that cross,” he said. “Now it is just a hall and the decision is bulls. . .. You either have a chapel or you don’t. It’s offensive to have a church or chapel and not have a cross in it.” (more…)

Obama Is A Disgrace To America

By Jim Bramlett

ObamaDear friends,

In addressing the Turkish Parliament, Barack Hussein Obama said, “We will convey our deep appreciation for the Islamic faith, which has done so much over so many centuries to shape the world for the better, including my own country.”  (Emphasis supplied.)  http://www.breitbart.com/article.php?id=D97CVOMG0&show_article=1

What??? What better has Islam done, anywhere, anytime, especially in America?  The Islamic faith has produced nothing but violence, death, poverty, and repression for centuries.  “Shape the world for the better”?  Unbelievable.  To have said those words, Obama is either a liar or an ignorant fool.

Plus, a few days earlier, Barack Hussein Obama disgracefully criticized his own country to a European audience, heard worldwide.

Plus, 2-3 days ago he actually bowed to the king of Saudi Arabia, which experts say is accepted as a gesture of submission.  The king represents one of the most evil regimes and sects of the most evil religion on earth.  This is shameful for an American President.  With the other things that he has done and said, in his heart this could have actually been intended as a gesture of submission.  See http://www.worldnetdaily.com/index.php?fa=PAGE.view&pageId=93696 (more…)

Trinidad Youth at a previous Rally“Pray for us that many souls would be brought into the Kingdom, especially our youth, and that discipleship would follow.”

Mandisa: Radiating Jesus

Mandisa: Radiating JesusLeigh DeVore Newsletters – The Buzz

American Idol alum Mandisa Hundley expresses a newfound freedom on her new album, aptly titled Freedom. She says that when she started working on this new CD, she was drawn to songs that dealt with the issue of freedom. “I knew that’s where God was directing me and that’s what He wanted me to talk about. … And then I realized that I could not do an album called Freedom and proclaim that God was able to set people free and still be held captive by a lifelong food addiction. … I didn’t want to be a hypocrite; I didn’t want to tell other people that He could set them free and not believe it for myself.”

She hired a personal trainer and changed the way she thought about food. She has already lost 70 pounds and is still pressing forward. She says her new album is “very encouraging to me and I know it will be encouraging to people that are fighting, feeling like they are bound by something. I feel like this is an album that will convince them that we serve a very powerful God who’s able to set us free.”

This freedom comes when we understand God’s love for us, she explains. “When we really grasp what God’s love is … we won’t be bound by the things that we’re bound by. And I don’t think that we would search for our identity in other things. I think when we really fully understand how God feels about us, that we would be so secure in that, we really would be free of a lot that has us entangled right now.” (more…)

CHRISTIAN ARROGANCE

In her article: “Beware the new axis of evangelicals and Islamists” Melanie Phillips writes:

Last weekend the Revd Stephen Sizer, vicar of Christ Church , Virginia Water appeared at an anti-Israel meeting with an Islamist called Ismail Patel. Patel has not only accused Israel of ‘genocide’ and ‘war crimes’ but considers Disney to be a Jewish plot and supports Hamas , Iran and Syria . Sizer is a virulent opponent of Christian Zionism and of Israel , which he has said he hopes will disappear just as did the apartheid regime in South Africa . He has also applauded Iranian President Ahmadinejad for having ‘looked forward to the day when Zionism ceased to exist’.

Another participant at the All Nations meeting was Colin Chapman, the father of the UK movement against Christian Zionism – and whose animosity is rooted in a theological prejudice against the Jews. Chapman’s hugely influential book, Whose Promised Land, resurrects the ancient Christian canard of ‘supercessionism’ – the belief that because the Jews denied the divinity of Christ, God transferred His favours to the Christians while the Jews were cast out as the party of the Devil. This doctrine lay behind centuries of Christian anti-Jewish hatred until the Holocaust drove it underground. In his book, Chapman writes that violence has always been implicit in Zionism and that Jewish self-determination is somehow racist. He also subscribes to the canard of sinister Jewish power. (more…)

Plane Crash Near The Tomb Of The Unborn – Sign From Above?

Family of Irving ‘Bud’ Feldkamp, Owner of the Nation’s Largest Privately
Owned Abortion Chain, Dies in Montana Plane Crash

Some of you may have seen the major news story of the private plane that crashed into a Montana
cemetery, killing 7 children and 7 adults.

But what the news sources fail to mention is that the Catholic Holy Cross Cemetery owned by Resurrection Cemetery Association in Butte – contains a memorial for local residents to pray the rosary, at the ‘Tomb of the Unborn’. This memorial, located a short distance west of the church, was erected as a dedication to all babies who have died because of abortion.

What else is the mainstream news not telling you? The family who died in the crash near the location of the abortion victim’s memorial, is the family of Irving ‘Bud’ Feldkamp, owner of the largest for-profit abortion chain in the nation.

Family Planning Associates was purchased four years ago by Irving Moore “Bud” Feldkamp III, owner of Allcare and Hospitality Dental Associates and CEO of Glen Helen Raceway Park in San Bernardino. The 17 California Family Planning clinics perform more abortions in the state than any other abortion provider – Planned Parenthood included – and they perform abortions through the first five months of pregnancy. America ‘Moves Towards Abandonment Of Israel’

By IsraelNN Staff

US FlagIsraeli Flag(IsraelNN.com) An unnamed former highly-placed U.S.intelligence official has broken silence and says that America may soon be abandoning Israel in favor of the Arabs. “This is just the beginning”, he said, “Israel could be about to lose the support of the United States.”

The source made these remarks in an exclusive interview with Douglas J. Hagmann, the director of the Northeast Intelligence Network (NIN), which is comprised of veteran licensed professional investigators, analysts, military affairs specialists and researchers. The group has combined their resources to provide accurate and well-sourced information via their website.

Hagmann appeared on Israel National Radio’s Weekend Edition with host Tamar Yonah. When questioned about the possible abandonment of Israel by America, Hagmann told Yonah, “The Obama administration is no friend to Israel, is no friend to the Jews in America and is no friend to democracy or freedom in America.  …Just by his very appointments, we can see him filling positions of power with people who are anti-Semitic, who want to see Israel essentially dissolved as a nation, if not by diplomacy, then certainly by war.” (more…)

Dr. Paul Ai Tran Is Being Held In Ho Chi Minh City For Sharing The Gospel Of Jesus — Again!

By Dan Wooding – Founder of ASSIST Ministries

Dr. Paul Ai TranHO CHI MINH CITY, VIETNAM (ANS) — A close friend of Dr. Paul Ai Tran, a much persecuted Vietnamese Christian leader whom the communist authorities grew so frustrated with because of his prolific church planting efforts that they deported him from Vietnam in 1999 to the United States, has told ANS that Tran is being held under “city” arrest in Ho Chi Minh City, formerly known as Saigon.

Bruce Sonnenberg, Executive Director/Founder of He Intends Victory based in Southern California, said, “Paul is staying in a hotel under ‘city’ arrest and being watched by two police bodyguards everywhere he goes. He has the freedom to go and visit his family and friends, etc., but he has the two policemen watch his every movement for 24 hours a day. The policemen stay at the hotel in the next room to his.

“Paul is now an American citizen and has a tourist visa to go back to Vietnam. They cannot do anything to him, but they also want to make a point by making things difficult for him. What they are saying to him is ‘so you want to come back and visit Vietnam, now you can stay, but you cannot leave until we say so.’ They are just playing games with him and I believe they will release him soon as they will get bored with the situation.” (more…)

On Sixth Anniversary Of Iraq War Recently, Iraqis Rate Their Quality Of Life Better Than New Yorkers

By Teresa Neumann

Iraqi Life“If numbers can tell a story, then on this sixth anniversary of the war in Iraq they tell a hopeful one.”

(Iraq)—Writing for World Magazine, reporter Mindy Belz gives an assortment of statistics from Iraq since the start of the war to support the case that Iraqis are optimistic about their future.

“If numbers can tell a story,” says Belz, “then on this sixth anniversary of the war in Iraq they tell a hopeful one. But,” she continued, “the sixth in a series of ABC/BBC polls tracking Iraqi opinion has caught even the pollsters off-guard. In releasing their poll results last week pollsters say public attitudes in Iraq reveal ‘a stunning reversal of the spiral of despair caused by Iraq’s sectarian violence in 2006 and 2007.'” (more…)

Is Biblical Repentance Relevant For The Church Today & For Us As Christ-Followers???

By Pastor Danny Nalliah

Dear Family and Friends in Christ,

The last few weeks have been most exciting serving the Lord Jesus Christ in Australia!

We all know that without battle there is no victory!  When I first came to Australia I said, “Lord, it is so boring serving You in this nation.”  However, glory to God as I really cannot say that any more. Since He gave us the court case battle with the Islamic Council of Victoria and from there onwards, there has never been a dull moment serving the Lord and the body of Christ in our nation of Australia!

Truly, Jesus is Lord of all! When the devil is mad, we can rejoice and be glad that the righteousness, justice, and truth of the Word of God is marching on in the power of the Holy Spirit! (more…)
