A Christian member of Iraq’s parliament, Imad Youkhana, issued a statement on July 9 calling for greater protections for the country’s Christian population.
(Baghdad, Iraq)—[ANS] Christian persecution in Iraq is being officially documented for the first time under orders of the country’s government.
Prime Minister Haydar al-Abadi has authorized the establishment of a committee that will work to end the ongoing abuses against Christians that have escalated since the rise of Islamic State.
Quoting a story by Fides News Agency, Christian Today (CT) reporter Carey Lodge said the heads of the committee have already met with Chaldean Catholic Patriarch Louis Raphael I to collect data, and will carry out a census of the homes and properties illegally seized from Christians.
NGO Baghdad Beituna (Baghdad Our Home) estimates that there have been more than 7,000 violations against properties belonging to Iraqi Christians in the city since 2003.

The Syrian refugee crisis that the media bleats about is not a crisis. And the Syrian refugees it champions are often neither Syrians nor refugees.
Fake Syrian passports are cheaper than an EU politician’s virtue and easier to come by.
Just about anyone who speaks enough Arabic to pass the scrutiny of a European bureaucrat can come with his two wives in tow and take a turn on the carousel of their welfare state.
Or on our welfare state which pays Christian and Jewish groups to bring the Muslim terrorists of tomorrow to our towns and cities. And their gratitude will be as short-lived as our budgets.
The head of a UNHCR camp called Syrian refugees “The most difficult refugees I’ve ever seen. In Bulgaria, they complained that there were no jobs. In Sweden, they took off their clothes to protest that it was too cold.
In Italy, Muslim African “refugees” rejected pasta and demanded food from their own countries. But the cruel Europeans who “mistreat” migrants set up a kitchen in Calais with imported spices cooked by a Michelin chef determined to give them the stir-fried rabbit and lamb meatballs they’re used to. There are also mobile phone charging stations so the destitute refugees can check on their Facebook accounts.

Western media is reporting on the Muslim refugee crisis as a humanitarian problem that the West must deal with. But where are the media’s questions about the huge financial and land resources available to oil rich Arab and Muslim countries? Where are the Islamic solutions in this equation?
The world is often lectured to about the urgency of respecting Arab and Islamic brotherly love, but where is the Arab action to rescue fellow Muslims and Arabs from the claws of ISIS?
Where are Arab feminists, especially those who demonstrated against France for banning the hijab? They are silent and doing nothing to rescue thousands of women that are victims of Islamic jihadist rape and enslavement. The only compassionate women helping women in the Middle East are the Christian mother Teresas and Kayla Muellers of the western world.
Where are the mighty Arab armies who waged dozens of wars against Israel? Why aren’t they fighting ISIS and building tent cities in the vast deserts of Arabia, Egypt, Jordan and the wealthy Gulf States? They are all claiming they are “moderate” Muslims and that they are against ISIS. But is one substantive thing they have done?

Migrants get back on a train in Bicske, Hungary, Thursday, Sept. 3, 2015.
Over 150,000 migrants have reached Hungary this year, most coming through the southern border with Serbia. Many apply for asylum but quickly try to leave for richer EU countries.
Back when I was in school, I performed a scientific experiment in which I poured a liquid of one color into a beaker that contained liquid of a different color. At first the liquid in the beaker was diluted, but as I kept pouring, the poured liquid eventually overtook the liquid in the beaker, creating an entirely new substance.
That’s what is happening in Europe as thousands of migrants flee their home countries, seeking refuge in the European Union. Germany, alone, is expected to have received 800,000 migrants by the end of the year, four times last year’s number.

“There’s an assault on anything having to do with Christianity…” -Donald Trump
Republican presidential frontrunner Donald Trump recently defended his Christian faith and condemned the “great assault on Christianity,” vowing to fight the “war on Christmas” if he is elected.
“There’s an assault on anything having to do with Christianity,” Trump said on Yellowhammer Radio with Cliff Sims on Friday. “They don’t want to use the word Christmas anymore at department stores.”
“There’s always lawsuits and unfortunately a lot of those lawsuits are won by the other side,” the controversial businessman continued. “I will assault that. I will go so strongly against so many of the things, when they take away the word Christmas.”
In continuing his comments, Trump charged that he goes out of his way to use the word “Christmas.”
Dear friends & family in Christ,
1) Please watch and share the above video by Ps Daniel, titled ‘Journalism at its lowest’.
It is sickening and sad to see the media lie and distort the truth to sell its own agenda. Journalism is supposed to be un-bias?? In this video Ps Daniel is calling on the general public to rise up and protest by calling or writing to all media outlets against the wrongful reporting of the10/10 Anti Islam Rally in Bendigo.
2) In Melbourne a team of intercessors from CTFM went to the Victorian Parliament steps, the location of the Pro-Life March. They worshipped, praised the Lord and blew their shofars declaring God’s victory.
I was told, by many who attended the Pro-Life March from our church that there was hardly any opposition at all. Only around 10 pro-abortionists, but they too had just disappeared.
Praise God that praise and worship to our King of kings is very powerful!
We thank God for His hand at work!
3) Following is an encouraging email received from Ps Ruth Webb in Bendigo after the rally.
“After you had the Scripture 2 Chronicles 20 about the worshippers going ahead of the army, a couple of groups prayed at the crossroad of the Red ribbon Rebellion site on Thursday.
Dear family & friends in Christ,
The anti-Islam rally saw Gods amazing hand of protection, peace and prophetic significance. More than 1000 people attended the rally, with a group of around 150-200 protesting against us.
I was asked by several people whether I was doing the right thing by speaking at this rally and I responded that I felt a real sense of peace, as did my wife.
However, I was asking the Lord for a word to confirm that it was His will for me to speak at the rally.
Four days before the rally in the early hours of the morning when I was praying I felt led to read 2 Chronicles Ch 20 and there was the confirmation. Please read this chapter.
When three countries came together to attack King Jehoshaphat in Israel, he cried out to the Lord for an answer with all of his people.
God spoke through His prophet and said, this battle belongs to Me, you don’t have to fight. I want you to take your stand. Send the worshippers before you to prepare the place and see what I will do.
So, he did exactly what God told him to do. As the worshippers worshiped, the enemy armies got confused and fought each other. By the time Israel came, there was no one to fight as they were all dead.
So, I immediately called a couple of pastors in Bendigo and asked them whether they could go and pray at the location, worship and blow the shofars.

James 5:16 declares, “The effective, fervent prayer of a righteous man avails much.” This verse points out that authority is given to the righteous. Carlos Annacondia, an Argentine evangelist, once told me that he believes God gave him more authority when he became ruthless about his sin and the sin in his family’s life.
Along the same line, we have to be under authority before we can exercise authority. If we are rebellious toward our parents or the authority of our church, we won’t have much authority over the evil one.
Second Corinthians 10:3-5 states, “For though we walk in the flesh, we do not war according to the flesh. For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal but mighty in God for pulling down strongholds, casting down arguments and every high thing that exalts itself against the knowledge of God, bringing every thought into captivity to the obedience of Christ.”

“There is nothing kind about this process,” Sharma says of his pilgrimage to Mecca. “He calls his first experience at the Kaaba ‘probably the most violent night of my entire life.’” Those who are surprised by this have not been paying attention to the daily headlines.
“Islam is imploding upon itself right now and there’s a huge crisis,” he says, and adds that a reformation “is happening, but it is happening too slowly and we’re running out of time.” Yes. The global situation is rather like the ending of Rocky II, when Rocky Balboa and Apollo Creed both collapse to the canvas, and the first one who can manage to get up will be the champion. The free world and the Islamic world are both, to use Sharma’s language, imploding upon themselves. Which one will get up first is anyone’s guess.
Meanwhile, the fact that Sharma has gotten death threats for his film illustrates yet again why reform in Islam is, while not impossible, prohibitively unlikely. Those who air unpleasant truths or discuss problematic aspects of Islam honestly, whether Muslim or non-Muslim, are targeted for destruction in various ways, while those who should be defending them stand by idly for fear of being charged with “bigotry” and “Islamophobia.”’
As Iran hardliners continue to chant “death to America,” President Barack Obama is on the verge of getting congressional approval for his controversial Iranian nuclear agreement.
Support from Sens. Chris Coons, D-Del., and Bob Case, D-Pa., means the president is one vote away from clinching victory in the Senate.
Despite furious opposition, 33 senators have now backed the deal. The president needs 34 to uphold his veto of a Republican measure disproving the agreement. Congress has till September 17 to vote for or against it.
At the State Department, officials continued to stress Obama’s statement that the U.S. would impose further sanctions should Iran change its behavior toward the deal — and that it prevents Iran from becoming a nuclear power.
