Thank you for your valued support to all of you who have sent submissions to the government in response to the several emails we and others have sent over the last few months regarding the proposed Bill of Rights.

I have had a few people ask me how we can pray against the Bill of Rights. Following are my thoughts and suggested prayer points.Â

The Federal Government plans to introduce a Bill of Rights, which at face value seems to be very good, in particular the way it’s packaged and promoted by clever agents of the Rudd Government. I heard one such agent say on TV last week, ‘there are 40,000 submissions and I guess most of them support the bill.†However, this is not true. According to information I have received from a person within the Government who does not agree with this bill, most submissions are against it.

Currently across Australia, there are many one-track minded forums promoting how good this bill is. It seems we are reliving the introduction of the Racial & Religious Vilification Laws all over again. The Government held similar forums across Victoria where many people were in opposition to them. Although there was around 80% of submissions against, the Government passed the Racial & Religious Vilification Laws anyway.

I wonder why the Government calls for submissions and conducts forums, because it seems their bills will pass anyway. Is it all a big farce to make the public think they are a free and democratic Government run by the people.? In reality the Left-Wing secular agendas (also promoted by the United Nations) will be carried out anyway, whether the rest of us Aussies like it or not.

Not to sound cliché, but when I was 28 I finally had come to realize that fathers really do know best. Now before you start thinking 1950s TV show here, let me explain.
Years ago when I decided to move out of my parents’ home into an apartment, I was overwhelmed with the choices out there. I researched for weeks and drove to at least 10 different apartment complexes to check them out.
But I grew discouraged. All the apartments I looked at were unacceptable for some reason. They were too expensive or in the wrong location or didn’t have the amenities I needed. I had begun to think there wasn’t an apartment out there for me.
But one day I discovered a place that fit my price range and most of what I was looking for, so I figured it must be the Lord’s answer for me. The upkeep wasn’t great, and the apartments were kind of jammed in on a small piece of property, but I thought it would do.
However, I decided that before I signed a lease, I would take my dad to see it. It had to pass the “dad” test. As we drove around the complex and then went into the model apartment, I could tell he was not impressed. (more…)
Every Fourth of July we celebrate that day 233 years ago when 56 men voted for American independence, but many do not know that it was not until Aug. 2 of 1776 that the Declaration of Independence was formally signed by most of the delegates to the Second Continental Congress. In a speech given at Independence Hall on the evening of Aug. 1, 1776, Samuel Adams – often called the Father of the American Revolution – spoke to an assembled crowd about the spiritual and religious significance of what he and others had done on July 4th:
We have explored the temple of royalty, and found that the idol we have bowed down to, has eyes which see not, ears that hear not our prayers, and a heart like the nether millstone. We have this day restored the Sovereign, to whom alone men ought to be obedient. He reigns in Heaven, and with a propitious eye beholds his subjects assuming that freedom of thought, and dignity of self-direction which He bestowed on them. Two church buildings were razed June 28 on the Tanzanian island of Zanzibar after Sunday worship services.
Suspected radical Muslims set the church buildings on fire on the outskirts of Unguja Township, on the island off the coast of East Africa, in what church leaders called the latest incidents of a rising tide of religious intolerance.
“We don’t want churches on our street,” read a flier dropped at the door of Charles Odilo, who had donated the plot on which the Evangelical Assemblies of God in Tanzania (EAGT) building stood. “Today we are going to burn the church, and if you continue we are going to burn your house also.”
With Christian movements making inroads in the Muslim-dominated area, the EAGT church and a Pentecostal Evangelical Fellowship in Africa (PEFA) church building a few miles away were burned down as a fierce warning, church leaders said.
The PEFA church building was located in the Kibondeni area eight miles from Unguja, and the EAGT structure was in the Fuoni area six miles from Unguja. Samuel Salehe Malanda, pastor of the 30-member PEFA church, said their building doubled as a nursery school on weekdays. (more…)

I’ve been praying that the church in Australia will be proactive and move into revival through a season of increasing prosperity and favor with God. However, unfortunately I believe that most part of the church has sadly chosen to be reactive and will now experience revival only through persecution. Why should we the church wait until something goes wrong to wake up and put it right, after having paid a heavy price? Well, the sad truth is that most of the church is not hearing the voice of God, nor willing to obey even if they do hear His voice!
There is a big difference between believing (passive) and obedience (faith in action). Just simply believing will not bring revival. We must ACT on what we believe in faith to see revival. I think we in Australia chose to go with persecution when we made the choice to elect a government in 2007 with more than 80% anti-Christian politicians and dumped a government with more than 70% Christians, including some great morally sound Christians at the top of its leadership.
Before the 2007 election the Lord gave me a clear prophetic word, “If my people UNITE, PRAY & ACT, John Howard would be re-elected and Peter Costello will take on the leadership.†When John Howard (former Prime Minister) was not re-elected, I was criticized by many Christian leaders who praised Kevin Rudd (current Prime Minister) as the man of God for the hour. In particular one very well known prayer ministry leader even mocked me through his national email database, praising Kevin Rudd as one of the godliest Christian Prime Ministers in Australia’s history. New poll finds only 33 percent of Americans favor, a 9-point drop since April
The number of Americans who support same-sex marriage has plunged over the last few months, according to a new poll.
The CBS News/New York Times study found that 33 percent of respondents favor same-sex marriage. That represents a 9 percent drop since April.
Everett Rice, legislative coordinator for the California Family Council, said he has a theory about the decrease.
“People really recognize their core and their values, their heritage,” he said. “When people want to go in and redefine that, it really goes against everybody’s individual cultural understanding.” (more…)

During prayer at the altar many surrendered to the Spirit of purity, righteousness and holiness as they received deliverance, healing and freedom from ungodly addictions and bondages to the flesh, the world and the devil! Pentecostals on the tsunami-ravaged coast of Indonesia are experiencing a wave of conversions and healings.
In the strongly Muslim Aceh province of northern Sumatra—where 167,000 people died in the 2004 tsunami—the underground church movement is growing, with Pentecostal congregations thriving.
Indonesia has an official policy of religious tolerance, but in Muslim-dominated areas Christians face open hostility and persecution. In Aceh province, churches must register with the authorities and are not permitted to evangelize. Many Christians choose to meet in unregistered—or underground—churches.
Sumatra is one of the least evangelized places on earth, according to Operation World. But since the tsunami—which wiped out 15 percent of the population of Aceh’s provincial capital Banda Aceh—numerous underground churches have put down roots.
Pastor Nico (full name withheld for security reasons) started an underground Pentecostal church four years ago with only six members. Today 90 people from the neighborhood make up the Spirit-filled congregation. They endure persecution for their faith. One church family had rocks thrown through the windows of their home, and another family was forced to relocate because of threats. (more…)

“Neither students nor teachers shed their constitutional rights at the schoolhouse gate. The students at Pace High School refused to remain silent…”
According to a report by the Liberty Counsel, nearly 400 students at Pace High School participated in an impromptu recitation of the Lord’s Prayer during their graduation on Saturday.
The students were reportedly taking a stand against being denied the right to pray after a decree which “bans all Santa Rosa County School District employees from engaging in prayer or religious activities.” The decree was issued after a lawsuit was filed by the ACLU. (more…)

(United Kingdom)—As part of the annual Week of Prayer for Parliament and Whitehall—which has the support of MPs and Peers from each of the major political parties—Inspire Magazine reports that many churches around the UK and across the world will be praying through the nights and even through the entire week.
To facilitate the prayer, a simple prayer resource pack has been produced to help Christians pray effectively for their governmental leaders. According to the report, the resources provide inspiration and opportunity for Christians to get involved and be creative in praying for politics, regardless of political viewpoints. (more…)

“I knew I wasn’t going to preach sermons, and I knew I wouldn’t be able to share openly about my faith, but you don’t necessarily preach to empty tummies. You fill tummies, and you show the love of Jesus through what you do. And after that comes those opportunities.”
One of the most popular Christian bands today is Casting Crowns. Recently, CBN News caught up with frontman Mark Hall, to talk about his recent trips into North Korea, where the band was invited to perform.
The invitation came through the NGO Global Resource Services (GRS), which works inside the country helping with food distribution, agriculture, children and families.
According to Hall, every other year the Friendship Arts Festival is held in Pyongyang where artists from around the world are invited to perform—not normally from America. But God “opened the doors” for Casting Crowns to not only go, but to perform their songs each containing a strong Christian message.
Hall said, “They had our lyrics, they had our music—if you’ve listened to our songs [the Christianity] is not exactly hidden—and they invited us anyway.” (more…)

Yes, this is what we saw last weekend at the 
Holy Spirit Fire and Healing Meetings in Hallam, Melbourne. Many God seeking people packed the venue on Friday and Sunday once again to soak in the life transforming presence of God, some even travelling all the way from Perth, WA to Catch the Fire!

As the anointed worship reached heaven for two consecutive hours, many were absolutely smacked by the weighty presence of God, like a steam roller of the Holy Spirit! Pas Danny prayed before the meeting, “Holy Spirit please come and mess us up!†Well, certainly that’s what happened as people could not stand on their feet and were laying all over the altar under the manifest glory of God! Dear family and friends in Christ,
Today Monday 22nd June is a very special day for us and I’m sure for all freedom loving fellow countrymen in Australia, as it marks 2 years since we won the court case in the Supreme Court of Appeal for Freedom of Speech and Religion after a 5 year battle in the Victorian Civil and Administrative Tribunal and then the Supreme Court. I’m sure we will celebrate this monumental day for years to come in remembrance of the victory against a bad piece of legislation which almost took away our rights to declare Jesus as the only way to the Father in heaven!
On a personal note, it’s also a special day that brought great joy to our family as the Lord blessed my wife and I with our 3rd child who turns 2 years old today! So every year at her birthday we will give God the glory for helping us stand our ground for His righteousness and justice in our nation of Australia to see this great victory for the Kingdom of God!
