Australia Bans Christian Schools from Teaching Creationism

The South Australian Non-Government Schools Registration Board has published a new education policy that states it requires the ”teaching of science as an empirical discipline, focusing on inquiry, hypothesis, investigation, experimentation, observation and evidential analysis.” It then goes on to state that it “does not accept as satisfactory a science curriculum in a non-government school which is based on, espouses or reflects the literal interpretation of a religious text in its treatment of either creationism or intelligent design.”

The policy effectively bans the teaching of creationism in South Australian Christian schools.

A spokesman for the South Australian Non-Government Schools Registration Board is quoted by the Sydney Morning Herald saying there is no ban on teaching creationism. “It can be taught in religious studies,” said the spokesman.

However, Stephen O’Doherty, the chief executive of Christian Schools Australia, said that he believes the intention of the South Australian policy was to ban the teaching of the biblical perspective on the nature of the universe altogether. Muslim leader wants elements of sharia in Australia

ELEMENTS of Islamic law – the sharia – should be legally recognised in Australia so that Muslims can live according their faith, a prominent Muslim leader says.

Addressing an open day at Lakemba Mosque on Saturday, the president of the Australian Islamic Mission, Zachariah Matthews, said parts of sharia could be recognised as a secondary legal system so that Muslims were not forced to act contrary to their beliefs. ”Sharia law could function as a parallel system in the same way that some traditional Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander law was recognised in the Northern Territory,” Dr Matthews told the Herald after the session.

”I don’t think we are so unsophisticated that we cannot consider a multilayered legal system as long as it doesn’t conflict with the existing civil system.”

The comments shocked some attending the open day. They felt Dr Matthews was advocating the introduction of the penal system under which women have been stoned to death for adultery, and corporal punishment is meted out for some offences. (more…)

God views praise and worship as high spiritual priorities. Praise, meaning “value” or “price,” is the proclamation of God’s importance or worth.

Many of the praise and worship expressions in the Scriptures were exhibited around David’s tabernacle and are still culturally functional for today. As defined in Strong’s Exhaustive Concordance, some of these Hebrew and Greek words are “ingredients” for the posture of worship and service to God.

Towdah is an extension of the hand. It implies a choir of worshipers lifting their hands (see Ps. 100:4).

Shabach is to lift the voice in a way that addresses someone of importance (see Ps. 63:3).

Yadah implies holding out one’s hands toward an intimate embrace. In this sense it is not an admission of surrender but of deliberate desire for closeness with God in worship (see Ps. 142:7).

Yesterday, the consuming fire of the Holy Spirit swept through the place as many people soaked in the manifest presence of almighty God during the  worship service that went on for more than 4 hours. Although it was a Monday night, the place was packed out with people desperate for a life changing encounter with a miracle working God. Many people were asking Pr Daniel to stay in Canberra throughout the week to continue the ongoing Revival meetings, but unfortunately due to other commitments he will not be able to do so.
 
There was deep intercession and travailing in prayer as the holy presence of God gave people a real deep love for their nation of Australia. Many people reported that they could not sleep at night, as they were crying to the Lord of the harvest for souls to be saved.

1) Are we in Australia currently living in the end time outpouring of the Holy Spirit before the 2nd Coming of Jesus, which Smith Wigglesworth prophesied nearly 100 years ago?

Yes, we at CTFM and many others in the Body of Christ believe it is so, as our nation of Australia is beginning to experience an ever increasing and unprecedented move of God’s Holy Spirit!

Pr Daniel ministered in several revival meetings in Canberra over the weekend where the Spirit of the Lord did exceedingly abundantly above all he could ask or imagine! Many Christians from many different churches in Canberra stated, “We have never seen anything like this in our city!”
 
Each service went on for more than 4 hours as people were born-again into the Kingdom of God, and many others were healed, delivered, and set free from demonic spirits!  As many demonic spirits left the people, they screamed and shouted, and some people had to be held down by 4-5 people. Most people who had never seen anything like this were amazed at the power of God demonstrated in the meetings.
 
People just burst into intercession and warfare prayer at every meeting. The worship team from the Samoan church led the people into high praise and worship to the King of kings and the Lord of lords as people at the meeting were absolutely consumed by the mighty presence of the Holy Ghost!
 
Pr Daniel stated, “I am so excited to see God move so powerfully in our Capital City of Canberra. This is certainly God’s kairos time for revival and reformation in Australia. We cannot afford to miss this opportunity. I was so excited to hear the testimonies of lesbians and witches who were born-again and set free from their bondages. Jesus loves everyone. People are desperate to encounter the living God. I have never seen such a hunger for God in Canberra in the past 13 years I have come to this city. This is the first time I felt such an open heaven over the place. I believe with all my heart that our spiritual warfare prayer mission on Mount Ainslie from last October 2009 played a big role in seeing this breakthrough.”
 
Pr Daniel has postponed his return flights to Melbourne and has re-arranged his busy schedule in Melbourne to stay back for 2 more nights of revival meetings in Canberra as he feels that this is God’s kairos time for Canberra. Police stop re-enactment of crucifixion of Jesus in Geelong, Australia

Due to the widespread national and international media coverage, you possibly would have heard by now that a church in Geelong, Victoria, Australia did a re-enactment of the crucifixion of Jesus on the Easter weekend, which was shut down by the local police because a few complaints were alleged to have been received.

However, what seemed to be initially negative has now turned out to be very positive for the Kingdom of God!

The senior minister of the church in Geelong told Pastor Daniel that he had challenged the police as to how many complaints they actually had received and as to why they abruptly shut down their street drama.  He also told the police that the ‘Gay and Lesbian Mardi-Gras’ is very offensive to many people (Christians and non-Christians alike) in addition to the ‘Nude Bike Ride’ and people posing nude in public places for photos. He challenged them as to what they do when they receive many complaints on those issues. The police admitted that they received only 2 complaints in relation to the re-enactment of the crucifixion of Jesus and that they had over reacted. The police have now made a public apology which was printed in several newspapers.   (more…)

I am shocked that thousands (perhaps millions) of Christians are so misled and do not support Israel. Thank God for the nameless and faceless remnant who will rise up and take a stand for the soon coming King of kings and the Lord of lords! These Kingdom warriors will prepare the way for the second coming of Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior. We must remember that where there is darkness, the light shines even brighter. So let your light shine!

Glorious Easter Weekend at CTFM in Melbourne as Holy Spirit ministers life, healing, freedom and hope to many people!

1) We thank and praise our loving Father in heaven for this wonderful Easter weekend gone by, as we corporately celebrated with the wider Body of Christ in Australia and around the world, the sacrificial death and victorious resurrection of our Lord Jesus Christ!

What a glorious weekend it was to see so many Christian believers and even some non-Christians mightily transformed by the resurrection power of the Cross of Christ and the anointing of the Holy Spirit at the CTFM apostolic centre in Melbourne (Hallam)!

I am sure you have many exciting testimonies to share of what the Spirit of God is doing across the nations!

The Good Friday Prayer Service followed by an all night prayer meeting saw more than 70 prayer warriors stay back to intercede for Australia’s transformation, with many who were still there crying unto the Lord at 6am the next morning!

On Easter Sunday the Lord ministered supernatural life, healing, freedom, hope, and restoration to many people gathered at the CTFM apostolic centre in Melbourne (Hallam) through His anointed servant Pastor Rex Douglas from the US. Particularly, many Christian believers were set free from generational soul ties, emotional traumas and offences, as the prayer altar was full with people pressing into the presence of almighty God for hours to drink the new wine of the Holy Spirit! Too often the American church has tried to put the Third Person of the Trinity in a box.

Hundreds of years before the Holy Spirit was poured out on the early church on the day of Pentecost, the Old Testament prophet Ezekiel, newly anointed as a priest, got a free preview of how God would send the Holy Spirit to empower His people. The preview came in the form of a Technicolor vision that included a stormy wind, a cloud that glowed with fire, flashes of lightning and strange, four-faced cherubim that were empowered by God’s divine energy.

Ezekiel wrote of these heavenly creatures: “In the midst of the living beings there was something that looked like burning coals of fire, like torches darting back and forth among the living beings. The fire was bright, and lightning was flashing from the fire. And the living beings ran to and fro like bolts of lightning” (Ezekiel 1:13-14, NASB).
