There is a very large naval force that has come together in the Persian Gulf and surrounding Iran. The USS Carrier Harry Truman has pulled into the area loaded for bear. Israel and the US have grouped bombers and fighter jets in many countries in the Middle East, Azerbaijan, Iraq, Saudi Arabia, and Afghanistan and others. Over the past week USS warship have went through the Suez Cannel, as have Israel subs all capable of launching a Nuclear Attack. And if Iran has already obtained or developed a nuclear warhead this thing will certainly go nuclear bringing the world into a global war. In fact, if Iran goes to the nuclear option Israel will have no choice but to take out Syria, Hezbollah (now all of Lebanon) and the Hamas in Gaza, and also Egypt if it tries a sneak attack, in short order or face terrible civilian causalities.Â
While most people are concerned and closely watching the oil spill in the Gulf of Mexico and justly so, all hell is about to break lose around the world if Iran is attacked. Another decoy or if you will smoke screen is the change of command in Afghanistan that has also found 24/7 coverage in the media news. To put it bluntly, folks we are in deep trouble and if you haven’t made your peace with the Prince of Peace Yeshua you are in even worse trouble, if you haven’t prepared and stored some water and food, made some arrangements for your family all I can say is shame on you. If you are Jewish and you haven’t bought that air plane ticket to Israel, shame on you as well.Â
We always hope and pray that once again this is just the kid shouting wolf, wolf but I am afraid the wolf is here, and all that fire power now gathered in the Persian Gulf is far greater than anything we have ever seen in the past, this is just plain serious and explosive. It is very obvious that Iran cannot be threatened or bluffed, and sanctions have no effect, leaving only the military option, so here we go.

Last month, Rev Fred Nile of the Christian Democratic Party tried to introduce a private member’s bill into the NSW Legislative Council that would ban the wearing of face-coverings that conceal identity. This has become known as the ‘burqa bill’ as it would prohibit the wearing of the full face-covering burqa and niqab.
He couldn’t get permission to explain the Bill – the Council voted against allowing a debate.
Â
However, he has since been granted permission to introduce and explain the Bill. This explanation was supported by most of the MLCs – with the exception of the four Greens and family First MP Gordon Moyes (see article at bottom of report).
Â
His media release says that, in his speech on 22 June, “Amidst angry protests, Rev Nile gave a detailed speech addressing accusations of racism and religious discrimination, stating the bill had nothing to do with race or religion.”
Read Fred’s media release –
http://www.cdp.org.au/media-release/78-people-power-forces-introduction-of-burqa-bill.html
Â
In his speech, which is included in the media release, he said “The purpose of the Summary Offences Amendment (Full-face Coverings Prohibition Bill 2010) is relatively straightforward. It is based on the Belgium bill. This bill is to prohibit the concealing of a personal identity whilst in public without a reasonable excuse to do so. As I have already stated, nowhere does the bill mention “burqa” or “Muslim”. While this legislation has become known as the burqa bill, the scope of the bill is much broader than just that one item of clothing.” (more…)

Dear family & friends in Christ,
Â
1) We give all glory and honour to Jesus the King of kings and the Lord of lords for His mighty hand increasingly at work in our Nation of Australia!Â
Â
The last few weeks have been absolutely exciting and glorious, including this past weekend as Ps Daniel and a team from CTFM ministered in Culcairn, NSW.
Â
Over the weekend hundreds gathered to hear the word of God and almost every one present was mightily touched by the Spirit of God. So many were healed and mightily challenged to rise up and take a stand for Jesus.  Around 18 people, including many youth and children, got baptised in the Holy Spirit and prayed in tongues for the very first time in their life.
Â
One of the highlights of the weekend was that Diana from Wagga, Wagga, who was raised from the dead in Israel by the power of God, shared her testimony of God’s amazing grace.  People were just absolutely shocked when they saw Diana in person.  What a mighty God we serve! (more…)

Dear family & friends in Christ,
Â
It is so great to be back home in Australia. I am sure we all know that there is no place like home. Our time in Israel, Jordan, Sri Lanka & Malaysia was fantastic. While I was in Sri Lanka I heard the shocking news that Kevin Rudd was no longer the PM but Julia Gillard had taken the top job.
Â
I received many emails asking me what I thought about it and what’s going to happen to Australia with a self confessed Atheist as Prime Minister.  Sorry for not getting back to you before, but I was so very busy since returning from overseas and have also been reading many articles about this issue and seeking God’s wisdom before making any comments.
Â
As you all know by now I tell people, ‘what they need to hear and not what they like to hear.’  Let’s give credit where it is due. Unlike Kevin Rudd, at least PM Gillard has been honest in telling the people that she DOES NOT BELIEVE IN GOD.  However, is this the beginning of the end for Australia ?? This will depend on how you vote at the next election which could be anytime between now and November 2010.
Â
In October 2009 we at CTFM carried out a spiritual warfare prayer assignment with the help of many other prayer warriors on Mt Ainslie in Canberra and around 30 other mountains across the country. We specifically prayed for rain, the breaking of the drought and that there would be no major bush fires. Then we stretched our hands over federal parliament and prayed for ungodly leaders in parliament to be removed and righteousness to be restored. Dear friends and family in Christ,
Â
Shortly after Kevin Rudd was elected as PM in late 2007 or early 2008, at a Wednesday CTFM Prayer Meeting in Melbourne during our worship time, Ps Daniel suddenly gasped and later shared a vision of Julia Gillard stabbing Kevin Rudd in the back. He interpreted this as Ms Gillard making a challenge for the leadership at some stage and deposing Kevin Rudd.
Â
Just before leaving for Israel in May 2010, at an office daily prayer time, Ps Daniel was musing about the possibility of Ms Gillard making a challenge and the speculations that were in the press. I reminded him of the vision he had some years before, which jogged his memory. On his return this week, the fatal blow had been made in Canberra and we now have a new Prime Minister. At our prayer meeting on Wednesday, many others present also remembered the vision he had some 2 years ago.
Â
On ABC radio 774 on 29/6/10 John Faine interviewed PM Julia Gillard. Normally not one to support Christian causes, he asked her directly, “Do you believe in God?â€, to which she replied that she did not.Â
Â
She had grown up in the Baptist Church and attended youth group, but as an adult had made other choices. He then mentioned that both Kevin Rudd and John Howard had made a point of being seen attending church and courting the Christian vote.Â

Dear family & friends in Christ,
ans, they always call them “our children”.

Dear friends and family in Christ,
Following is an email from Salt Shakers for your ongoing prayer for Australia’s government, that the righteousness of the Word of God would be exalted in our nation!
Julia Gillard and ‘religious faith’ – Please vote in polls
Â
When Julia Gillard was sworn in as Prime Minister she used an ‘affirmation’ – not the traditional oath on the Bible. When asked about religion yesterday on the ABC, she said she didn’t believe in God and is “not a religious person” although she was brought up in the Baptist Church. She said “I’m not going to pretend a faith I don’t feel” but added that she respected the religious views of others.
Although we are concerned about the Prime Minister being an atheist, at least she is being upfront about her beliefs!
Â
Having an atheist as the Prime Minister is a significant development and a move away from the Christian heritage of our nation. We would like to see committed Christians having influence in the governing of our nation.
We posted a report on these matters – with links – on the front page of our website yesterday.
“The Eastern Church that is rising up with radical faith is going to mobilize and inspire the rest of the Body of Christ around the world to get the Great Commission done.”
Pastor and Hip Hop artist, Jaseon Ma, has produced a film (1040) documenting the amazing work God seems to be doing in the Asia 10/40 window; (where the bulk of the world’s unreached people live) in the areas between 10 degrees and 40 degrees North Latitude.
Asia is a region of the world that, Jaseon explains, is alive and in motion with God’s Spirit in a “dramatic way.” (more…)
“No hating, no disturbing, no harassing… It remains only to be concluded that we were arrested simply for being Christian Preachers at the Arab Festival in Dearborn.”
FOUNDING EDITOR’S NOTE: There is a U.S. Constitution, a Bill of Rights, a Declaration of Independence, and a God in Heaven who is watching and I do not sense that Our God is pleased—with an arrest of Christians sharing their faith. Please join me in prayer that we will see a SEA CHANGE of whatever spiritual force is attempting to make this anything other than a Christian Nation with freedom for all religions as well. –Steve Shultz, Breaking Christian News.
(Dearborn, MI)—This past Friday, on June 18th, three Christians; Dr. Nabeel Quereshi, David Woods, and Paul Rezkalla, were arrested at the Arab International Festival in Dearborn, Michigan, according to an ANS News report.
A video, recorded by the three the next day after their release, explains what happened when they stood at the festival and only spoke with those who freely approached them. They maintain that they did not hand out Christian pamphlets, nor did they preach at people.
“We didn’t approach anyone,” says Nabeel on the video. “We waited for them to approach us, and they did.” He says that at first, the Muslims that came up to them would accuse them and call them racist, but “in a matter of minutes, multiple times, we were talking very amicably [with them], and enjoying the conversation. We made many friends yesterday…” (more…)
