Dear Family and Friends in Christ,
I am not sure where to start, as my heart is almost totally overwhelmed with thanksgiving and complete joy! Seeing God move and knit together so many hearts at the celebration at the ‘Standing With Israel’ evening was such a sight! It was a visual experience – glorious banners expressing different aspects of the names of God. You could actually see the love transmitted from one to another, as God’s grace laced the words shared. The room buzzed with murmured approval as statements concerning Israel’s journey unfolded through the different speakers, many overwhelmed by what they saw and heard.
The event was held at the Performing Art Centre, Glen Eira College in Caulfield, right in the heart of the Jewish community. The hall was filled to overflowing with 350 – 400 people, drawn from all walks of life, with an obvious intense love for the nation of Israel. There were many Messianic Jews in attendance, along with many Jews from the immediate area. (more…)
Christians will stand to show support and solidarity for the 60th anniversary of the State of Israel in a celebration service with special guest speaker, Dr Danny Lamm, from the State Zionist Council of Victoria, and other Australian Jewish leaders on the eve of the Jewish nation’s birthday.
The legendary sounds of the shofar will resound as the cake is cut, Jewish songs and dances are performed and the Jewish Tanakh Scriptures are read. A representation of Light Horsemen in full regalia will also be a centerpiece of the celebration service designed to honour not only the 60th anniversary of the nation of Israel but also the important role Australia’s Light Horsemen played in the liberation of Beersheba in 1917.
The night at the Performing Art Centre, Glen Eira College, 76 Booran Rd, Caulfield South on Tuesday 13 May 2008 at 7.30pm is hosted by interdenominational ministry, Catch the Fire Ministries and spearheaded by Pastor Danny Nalliah. (more…)

I personally thank my beautiful wife for being such a great mother to our children and my mother for praying me into the Kingdom of God!
I challenge every husband and every child across our nation to take some time to personally thank and appreciate your wife and mother this Mother’s Day on Sunday the 11th of May. (more…)
Dear Family and Friends in Christ,
Both as the Church and a Nation, we are certainly reaping what we have sown in the last Federal Election 2007!Â
Â
Over the last several days, I’m sure you watched incredible television reports and read in the newspapers that the homosexual community is about to receive their full rights across Australia, thanks to the liberal thinking of the new Federal Labor Government. Is this really the Government many Christian leaders promoted as a viable alternative to the previous government we had? Frankly, I need to ask the question, ‘Are those Christian leaders who play bipartisan politics, just trying to play both sides of politics to protect their reputation, or are they really wanting to please a righteous and holy God?’ (more…)
Dear Family and Friends in Christ,

Yes, it is ANZAC day, once again when we salute our war heroes for the sacrifices they made in protecting our nation. Very often we forget things quite quickly as we live in this fast moving, ever changing time-frame of 2008. But I am sure, if you think back, you will recall that last year as we were approaching ANZAC day, many regions in our Nation were facing a major crisis with severe drought, with bush fires burning and threatening in many places. In Victoria, some country towns, such as King Lake and Halls Gap (and other locations) were almost consumed by fire and the residences were asked to leave their homes on ANZAC day 2007. (more…)
Dear Family and Friends in Christ,
In the past 3 weeks I have had the opportunity to travel with my family, minister in Victoria, New South Wales, South Australia, and also take some time out for family enjoyment. I constantly thank God for this wonderful time we had together, as it has really refreshed and prepared us for the season ahead. We were so grateful to witness God’s presence and power mightily during the meetings where I ministered.
Starting on the 23rd of March (Easter Sunday) we ministered in Melbourne at a predominantly Pilipino
congregation and then that afternoon travelled to Yarrawonga spending 2 nights there. From there we went to Sydney and ministered in Wentworthville, Kellyville and Penrith. God faithfully moved impacting mightily at every meeting, with many surrendering their lives to Jesus and many others rededicating their hearts back to the Lord to follow His ways. From Sydney we made our way to Bathurst and there ministered at 5 different meetings, including meetings in Lithgow and Orange. What a delight to dwell in an atmosphere where God moves most powerfully. (more…)

SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA (ANS) — When I first met Australian Nick Vujicic, I couldn’t believe that he could smile so much, having faced such incredible setbacks in his life.

You see, Nick, who is originally from Melbourne, Australia, was born without arms or legs, yet he is a living witness to the power of Christ in his life. (more…)

Christians Deceived– Rudd / Nelson ??? by Pastor Danny Nalliah             Â
Is Australia on its way down a slippery slope?
This article is written for all those who have the fortitude to face up to what we as Aussie Christians have brought upon ourselves. It is not for those who cry, “Take me off the mailing list” because they cannot see/hear the truth!
It is certainly time for battle in the Spiritual realm as never before! The fact that some people cannot see what is happening right now makes me ask, “What will it take?â€Â (more…)
Dear Friends and Family in Christ,
1) Following is an interesting article that recently appeared in the Australian newspaper stating that the Christian vote was the primary factor in the Rudd Labor Party’s rise to power in the recent election:

JOHN Black is a former Labor senator from Queensland. These days he leads a demographic research and marketing group called Australian Development Strategies.
Across the political class he’s regarded as one of the most astute observers of electoral politics and his analyses of federal elections are awaited with keen interest by the secretariats of the main parties. (more…)
Dear Friends and Family in Christ,
As you may be aware through various media reports, a startling new development regarding the missing couple found, is that the police have now charged the boyfriend Julian with kidnapping his girlfriend Carolynne and (in addition to other things) leaving a threatening note bearing satanic symbols at his father’s house.

Dear Friends and Family in Christ,
Where are we truly heading as a nation? Toward a Righteous God or away from Him?
As Bible-believing God-fearing Christians, we must get on our knees and repent, both individually and corporately as the Body of Christ in Australia! Certainly, we’re reaping what we have sowed!
It would appear that the Rudd government’s humanists, like Julia Gillard, are already hard at work. Am I biased in saying that? Yes. Not politically, but biased toward a worldview we know is the best for our children and our nation – that worldview is a Biblical Christian worldview. We also believe that educational ‘choice’ is important – parents should be able to choose the type of education they want for their children. (more…)

Can a person be sent to prison under Victoria’s Racial and Religious Tolerance Act?
No, I hear you say. . .
Those who are brought before the Equal Opportunity Commission and then the Victorian Civil and Administrative Tribunal might be asked to apologise, to say ‘sorry’ or be told not to do the same again.
But prison? (more…)
