“With more than 71 million claiming Christianity, India is now the eighth largest Christian nation in the world.” -Dick McClain, The Mission Society

(Norcross, GA)—Christianity in India is growing at a rapid rate among middle and high caste Indians and young people, according to the latest issue of “Unfinished” magazine, which examines social, economic and cultural trends in the “new India.”

The current “remarkable receptivity to Christ” across the entire spectrum of Indian society, which had been traditionally among only lower castes and marginalized communities, is one of five dominant themes identified by Indian anthropologist Prabhu Singh that define today’s India and its missional challenges. In his article “Welcome to the New India” in the current issue of “Unfinished,” Singh also explores new eras of “glocal” complex connectivity, heightened cultural sensitivity, alarming religious animosity and widening economic disparity.

“With more than 71 million claiming Christianity, India is now the eighth largest Christian nation in the world,” said Dick McClain, president and CEO of The Mission Society, publisher of “Unfinished.” “Yet with 456 languages and more than 2,611 distinct people groups, India still has more people groups unreached with the gospel than any other nation—88 percent of its population.”

Amazing Miracles – Dying baby lives / Baby saved from abortion / Devout Muslim man accepts Jesus on death bed

Dear family & friends in Christ,

We praise, thank and give all the glory to God for the following 3 powerful testimonies. I am sure you will be blessed to hear about them.

1) Several days ago, a young woman who was four months pregnant and had booked in for an abortion with her partner, came in for counselling.  Pr Geraldine from CTFM, who heads up Options Plus, our Pregnancy Counselling Division, spoke to them both and then did an ultrasound on the baby.

Well, all glory to God as at the end of the counselling, the young mum to be and her partner have now decided to have the baby. Thank you Jesus for saving another life from death.

2) On Monday morning at 5.45am Pr Daniel received a telephone call from New Zealand. On the phone was a lady crying as she was standing by the bed side of her Muslim husband who was dying of cancer. The woman who is a Christian had asked her husband whether to get a Christian to pray for him, but he did not want to hear anything about it.

She told Pr Daniel that the Imam (Muslim Priest) had come and prayed over her dying husband who could not speak. She also said many have tried to talk to her husband about Jesus, but he did not want to know anything about it.

Israel warns West of ‘historic mistake’, outlines Iran expectations

Geneva talks begin. Is compromise in the offingJewish World Review – By Joel Greenberg

JERUSALEM — (MCT) Israeli officials are warily watching the resumption of talks between Western powers and Iran to resolve the dispute over its nuclear program, concerned that the negotiations will produce an easing of economic sanctions without a halt to what Israel says is Tehran’s march toward an atomic bomb.

As part of a diplomatic offensive to head off what Israel fears will be Western concessions with only cosmetic changes in return, Israeli government leaders are outlining conditions they say must be met to make any agreement stick.

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said Tuesday that it would be a “historic mistake” if sanctions on Iran were eased just when they were about to achieve their goals. But the definition of those goals is in deep dispute, with wide gaps between the parties on what would be a satisfactory outcome of negotiations.

Israeli officials are urging Western negotiators to secure a dismantling of Iran’s nuclear program, which Israel says is for military purposes and Iran asserts is for civilian use.

Reinhard Bonnke: God ‘Will Shake America’

Reinhard Bonnke preaches Friday night in Orlando, Fla. (Sean Roberts Charisma News)9/27/2013 Shawn A. Akers – Charisma News

Elizabeth Simmons, a freelance journalist for the Florida Times-Union in Jacksonville, Fla., came to Orlando to the Christ For All Nations Good News Crusade on her own dime and with a two-fold agenda.

Not only did she want to help hundreds of thousands of Times-Union readers to discover Jesus through her news reports from Friday and Saturday, but she also came to support her spiritual mother, Elizabeth “Bebe” Brown, who rode to Orlando with a friend from Tennessee.

Brown, whom Simmons has known for two years and credits her with helping turn her life around for Jesus, is physically blind and came to Orlando believing for her healing.

“Faith–it’s all about faith,” Simmons said. “We need to not limit God and start believing that He will do what He said He is going to do. I love God with everything I am and I have. I know He can save and He can restore, and that’s what we’re believing for.”

Bonnke and his CfaN team held its initial American Good News Crusade Friday night in front of more than 10,000 at the Amway Center.

Since 1987, 75 million souls in Africa have come to salvation through the ministry of Christ for All Nations (CfaN). Evangelist Reinhard Bonnke said God is ready to pour out the same blessing on the United States.

Franklin Graham Says US Is ‘in a Mess’ Because Politicians Have ‘Turned Their Backs on God’

Evangelist Franklin Graham discusses politics with CNN, Nov. 14, 2012The Christian Post – By Michael Gryboski – October 16, 2013|

Prominent evangelical leader and son of the famous evangelist Rev. Billy Graham has stated that the United States is “in a mess” because America’s politicians “have turned their backs on God.”

Rev. Franklin Graham, president and CEO of the Billy Graham Evangelistic Association, told Newsmax TV on Monday about why he believes the United States is in its present situation.

“Our country is in a mess, no question, and it seems like we’re just in an ever-tightening spiral downward, and it doesn’t seem as if anybody is listening to what is happening,” said Graham.

“We, as a nation, we’ve turned our back on God. Politicians have turned their backs on God. They have taken God out of our schools, out of just about everything you can imagine, and now we find ourselves in great danger.”

Also presently the head of the philanthropic organization Samaritan’s Purse, Graham reiterated these remarks for CBN News on Wednesday.

In that interview, Graham saw “moral decay” and “economic decay” as being specific parts of the problem facing the U.S. due to people turning away from God.

Great anointing in Perth / Miracle healing of baby from death

RUAP WA Candidates & SupportersDear family & friends in Christ,Speaking at RUAP breakfast in Perth

Over the last weekend Pr Daniel ministered in Perth at 5 different meetings in 3 churches and 2 other venues. We thank and praise God for His mighty anointing at every single meeting as the people gathered were greatly blessed.

On Saturday morning around 40 to 50 people gathered at a Rise Up Australia Party Breakfast, where Jane Foreman (RUAP lead Senate Candidate and WA State President) opened the meeting and then National President Daniel Nalliah addressed the meeting.

This breakfast was held to organise a plan in order to get ready for a possible re-election for Senate in WA sometime in March or April 2014.  Many who stood as candidates for RUAP and others who supported the last Federal Election campaign were at the meeting.

Speaking in PerthAt the combined churches meetings, people from many churches came to hear the Word of God to receive prayer ministry.  Many responded to the altar call and were tremendously touched by the power of GoAltar call in Perthd.

2) Last week on Tuesday, Pr Daniel received a very urgent telephone call regarding a 6 months old baby who was dying at the Monash Hospital in Clayton, Victoria.

He rushed to the hospital and as he entered the ICU the young mum & dad were holding the baby and crying as the doctors had told them that the baby would not make it through the night due to lung failure. They took the baby off of life support and gave the mum and dad the opportunity to carry her before she died.

Bangladeshi Christians told to close church, convert to Islam

Published 03 October 2013  |  World Watch Monitor

A local government official in central Bangladesh has halted the construction of a church, forced Christians to worship at a mosque and threatened them with eviction from their village unless they renounce their faith.

The Tangail Evangelical Holiness Church in Bilbathuagani village, Tangail district, about 100 kilometres north of Dhaka, was created Sept. 8 by a group of about 25 Christians who had been meeting secretly for three years.

However, local council chairman Rafiqul Islam Faruk joined around 200 demonstrators September 13 to protest against the start of the building of the church.

The following day, the Christians were summoned to his office. More than 1,000 Muslims waited outside, following an announcement at all local mosques to gather at the chairman’s office.

Doctor refused to refer couple for sex-selective abortion: faces possible loss of his license

In a statement in 2011, Dr. Hobart had said he believes abortion is murderby Andrew Smith, LifeSiteNews Australian correspondent – Mon Oct 07, 2013

MELBOURNE, October 8, 2013 (LifeSiteNews.com) – An Australian doctor with an unblemished record is at risk of losing his medical registration for refusing to refer a couple for a sex-selective abortion.

According to reports, the couple wanted to abort their healthy daughter, who was 19 weeks gestation, because they wanted a boy. While Dr. Mark Hobart refused to refer the couple, they subsequently obtained the abortion elsewhere.

In a statement in 2011, Dr. Hobart had said he believes abortion is “murder.”

For the last five months Dr. Hobart has been under investigation by The Medical Board of Australia and the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA), because of his actions.

Under the Victorian state Abortion Law Reform Act 2008, a doctor who has a conscientious objection to abortion is compelled to refer a patient on to another practitioner who does not hold that objection.

“Very clearly I heard again the same voice, ‘My daughter.’ I look[ed] back. There was a bright light shining on the corner. Inside of the light I saw Jesus the Lord.”

Sayujya Thampuratti belongs to the Hindu Royal family of Kerala in India, and she shared recently about how Jesus came to her one day—revealing Himself to be the One Way to God the Father—and changed her life forever.

“From childhood I was an idol worshiper,” says Sayujya. She describes in the posting how she had been “offering flowers to [her] idols” when one of them fell from her hand and broke into several pieces. She became very upset and “cried with a deep sorrow,” she says.

“While I was crying, Somebody touched me on the shoulder. I thought it was my mother…the Person touched my shoulder [and] called me ‘My daughter,'” described Sayujya.

“I was shocked because it was a gentleman’s [voice]. I stood up immediately and turned towards Him; but I found nobody behind me. I looked around the corners. I was surprised to [find] nothing because I was quite sure that [Someone] had touched me and called me as daughter,” continued Sayujya.

Reconciliation in Alice Springs as God pours out His Healing Anointing

Group photo in Alice SpringsDear family & friends in Christ,Indigenous people weep as they are honoured during washing of feet

The last weekend was truly history making in Alice Springs where Pr Daniel and a team from CTFM ministered at three services and saw God pour out His healing anointing for Reconciliation.

Many people from several churches, Indigenous and non-Indigenous gathered together in one place in one accord to worship the Lord. There were also several Pastors who were at the meeting.

We were told by several people that it had not rained for almost 6 months.

On Saturday night all the Indigenous people stood in the middle and all the non-Indigenous people came around them and started praying.

Pr Daniel praying for healingPr Daniel washing the feet of Aunty Margaret, the Head ElderThe Spirit of God fell in the place and there was real repentance and asking forgiveness from each other. Then Pr Daniel challenged the church to rise up and take her stand. He stated, “If we repent and pray as in 2 Chro 7: 13-16, we will see the rain.”

On Sunday morning as he was preaching at the Apostolic church it started to rain and everyone started clapping. Glory to God.

On Sunday night the place was full with many Indigenous people and others. Led by the Holy Spirit, Pr Daniel started washing the feet of the Indigenous people. Then many others did the same.

At this point many started weeping and God brought great healing to many hearts. At the meeting an Indigenous man stated, “I have never seen the white fellow wash the black fellow’s feet before. I cannot believe that this is happening in Alice.”

Many hugged each other and there were many tears of joy. Aunty Margaret, the Elder of the Arunta Tribe and recipient of the ‘Order Of Australia’, who had welcomed the Queen of England, Price Charles, The Pope and many other VIPs, stated,

“In my life I have never seen anything like this happen in Alice Springs. This is truly the hand of God. I am so deeply touched. I have not seen my people so happy in a long time.”

The Sign of a True Apostle (It’s Not What You Think)

J. Lee Grady

A few years ago I heard a preacher tell a room full of ministers that they couldn’t work miracles or exercise apostolic authority unless they used the word apostle as a title. So some of them ran out and printed new business cards—as if putting the word in front of their names was the magic ticket to reclaiming New Testament power.

That was a bad idea. For the past 15 years or more, thousands of people have been wounded and countless churches have nosedived because immature leaders thought they could gain apostolic status the easy way. We are so eager to qualify ourselves that we forget God alone calls, prepares and sends true apostles.

The late Arthur Katz, who was a prophetic voice to our movement for many years, wrote in his 1999 book Apostolic Foundations that nobody should be eager to step into an apostolic assignment or to treat such a task flippantly. “God is jealous over the word apostolic,” Katz wrote. “It is a word that has fallen into disuse and needs to be restored, and that restoration is not going to be cheap.”

We are so carnal, so power hungry and so enamored with status and position that we don’t have a clue what apostolic ministry really is. Most charismatics think it is about authority, and many men who claim to be apostles build top-down pyramid structures that abuse people. Others think apostolic leaders are marked primarily by sensational miracles. Yet I see something we have entirely missed when I look at the life of the apostle Paul.

Paul told the Thessalonians that love is the true hallmark of any person who is sent on an apostolic mission. Therefore, if we want apostolic power or authority (which we should), it must flow through apostolic love or it is a counterfeit. This apostolic love can be described in four ways:

1. It is incarnational. Paul brought the gospel to the Thessalonians and lived among them. He did not just drop in, preach a good sermon and leave. He said, “We were well-pleased to impart to you not only the gospel of God but also our own lives” (1 Thess. 2:8, NASB, emphasis added). Just as Jesus came to this earth, lived among us and died for us, true apostles give it all. If all an “apostle” does is preach a good message, he is a poor substitute for the real thing. (And if he also spends more time taking up offerings for himself, he is a hireling or a con artist.)

Take Women Out of the Box

Mimi Haddad

It’s time the American church stopped arguing about female roles and started empowering women for ministry.

The debate over whether God equips and calls women to serve in positions of spiritual leadership is not over. In 2008, some of the same Christians who were delighted to see Sarah Palin run beside John McCain were also reluctant to welcome women to the pulpit on Sunday morning. And when Gospel Today magazine published an issue with women preachers on the cover, more than 100 Christian bookstores removed the magazine from their counters.

Clearly some Christians believe a woman can lead a country but not a church. But what does Scripture say? Does God’s Word make a distinction between a woman’s spiritual and secular leadership?

Consider Deborah, whose service as a judge and prophet influenced all of Israel. Her leadership and spiritual insight were so significant that the men of Israel refused to go into battle without her (Judg. 4:6-9). She is quoted in Scripture as saying, “Villagers in Israel would not fight; they held back until I, Deborah, arose, a mother in Israel” (5:7, TNIV). On a regular basis, as “a prophet … [who] was leading Israel at that time,” she “held court under the Palm of Deborah between Ramah and Bethel in the hill country of Ephraim, and the Israelites went up to her to have their disputes decided” (4:4-5, emphasis added).

A Survivor of Auschwitz Recalls the Past Horrors and How the Power of Forgiveness has Set Her Free

Auschwitz Nazi death campAimee Herd (Oct 18, 2013)Eva and Miriam Mozes, who—at 10-years-old—were, along with their family, forced from their small village home in Romania, and taken to the Auschwitz Nazi death camp.

“No human being can be free—emotionally free and mentally free—without forgiving people who have wronged them.”

A CBN TV video details the life of twin sisters, Eva and Miriam Mozes, who—at 10-years-old—were, along with their family, forced from their small village home in Romania, and taken to the Auschwitz Nazi death camp.

Separated from her family, Eva describes how she and her sister determined to stay alive, amid the sights of children’s corpses on the ground. She made a “silent pledge” to do everything in her power not to join those lifeless bodies.

Eva says she and her sister, and the other children in the death camp knew, from within the first week, that the notorious “angel of death,” Josef Mengele, had likely murdered their families, and that they were only alive because Mengele wanted to use them.
