Media Release: Rise Up Australia Party will be standing 93 Candidates – 77 Lower House & 16 Upper House for the Federal Election on 7th September 2013
Rise Up Australia Party is proud to announce the successful nomination of 77 Lower House and 16 Upper House Candidates to contest the Federal Election on 7th September 2013.
This has secured a place above the line on the Senate Ballot Paper in every State and Territory across Australia.
The number of candidates is more than expected which is a direct result of a great interest from across the nation by many people who have embraced the policy principles of Rise Up Australia Party and who believe that RUAP will be a real game changer in Australian Federal Politics.
RUAP National President Daniel Nalliah, also the #1 Senate Candidate for Victoria, stated from his Melbourne office this morning, “In contesting our 1st Federal Election, I’m very excited that so many candidates are standing from across the country in every state and territory. I believe that in the next seven years, RUAP will be a major player in Australian Federal Politics and will definitely change the landscape of our nation’s future by protecting Australia and keeping Australia Australian for generations to come.”

I am a Christian! I love The Lord and we are in a relationship! I am learning to obey, trust and honour His Name and sovereignty each day!
I have prayed about who to vote for and there are reason to vote for Labour and reasons to NOT vote for them! Some policies are good while others show an absence of all that is holy before our God!
If I vote for you guys in the NT how is that not a wasted vote?
Who will you give your preferences to? Please don’t answer that you won’t because small parties all give their votes to a major party in place of having a say in Parliament or to have their agenda tabled!
So the person who told me you don’t give your votes or preferences to anyone! does not understand parliamentary process.
My last question is can you send me more information on your policies?

Dear Pastor Nalliah,
I am writing with regards to congratulate you on running as a Senate candidate for the Rise Up Australia Party.
I hope you do not mind that I am writing to you but I simply wanted to offer my words of encouragement, prayers and blessings for your candidacy and the Rise Up Australia Party in successful victory this Federal election come 7 September 2013.
Earlier today, I also emailed and congratulated the local candidate Jeff Truscott running for the House of Representatives Maribyrnong seat.
I am a TAFE student and a baptised Catholic now Anglican-Catholic who respects and adheres to the New Testament apart from Timothy’s views that a women should remain silent in a temple since I do accept women priests in the Anglican faith.
That said, I do follow the New Testament teaching that marriage is when a man commits to a wife and starts a new family, as Jesus Christ revealed in (Matthew 19:4-6.) Please refer to the web link here for the Scripture verse: http://www.biblegateway.com/passage/?search=Matthew+19%3A4-6&version=NKJV
Although I have struggled with the decision in recent times, as many Australians have, I now oppose same-sex marriage and homosexuality as it violates the Will of God and Word of God.
I do keep my views private, as these days one has to be careful not to find themselves in legal strife, but I do solemnly pray that whoever forms Government after the election on September 7 this year will ensure marriage remains between a man and woman under secular law.
I no longer support the Australian Labor Party since they propose legalising same-sex marriage and the carbon tax is terrible.
I am thankful that our wonderful State of Victoria has a leader (Denis Napthine) who is opposed to same-sex marriage as revealed in an interview with 3AW radio show. I think we all search out God doing difficult times and issues in our lives and so I continue to pray as an Anglican-Catholic that God ensures His will is always done and also through Our Lord Jesus Christ.
I pray that God will bless you Pastor Nalliah in becoming the Senator for Victoria this year’s federal election. God bless the Rise Up Australia Party as well, I pray.

God bless you Daniel and all the candidates RUAP. It is God’s timing for Psalm 46:10. The name of your Party is really amazing because we need an Awakening for Australia. I thank our Great God for his Holy Spirit who has given you an anointing of leadership, tenacity, boldness and wisdom to accomplish his desire for Australia and to do his perfect Will. Every Wednesday for the last 12 months we have met in a prayer meeting thanking our God and asking him to remove all the immoral people from our Parliaments and to give Australia a righteous Government. I now believe we will have what we have prayed for.
