Article in The Age Newspaper 6th August 2010 – “Gillard bid to win back Christians”

Dear family & friends in Christ,

Please see the attached article in The Age Newspaper on 6th August 2010, confirming what Ps Daniel has said in his previous post about Julia Gillard trying to deceive the Christians into voting Labour.

What was the one question Labor demanded of Prime Minister Howard EVERY TIME he called and election?

Answer: WIll you serve your full term or will you hand over to Peter Costello before the next term is over? And they used that question for their own political gain.

John Howard served 4 full terms but Kevin Rudd couldn’t survive 1. And it was his own party that dumped him in order to improve its own electoral prospects.

What Labor demands of the Coalition they fail to live up to themselves!

    Actions speak louder than words!!!

Labor must now be asked to answer the same questions of themselves that they demanded of the Coaltion.

    God bless

I can’t believe how naive some pastors (Mark Conner) are, or are they remaining neutral for some political gain? The deceiving work of the enemy is definitely involved here. It is sadly obvious that the fear of the Lord which is the begining of all wisdom has departed from these souls.

Any person who is a real believer only has to look at what Emily’s List stands for that Julia Gillard is a member of should set alarm bells ringing! If she is not accountable to God then who is she accountable to?

Ps Danny, it’s the Saints like you who stand for righteousness and speaking out against these atrocities that encourage the true believers to stand and pray for the preservation of our Great Southland. Let the truth be spoken and heard by all!

    Yours in Christ,

    Karl

    Dear Elizabeth,

It is certainly very concerning when prominent Christian leaders seem to be oblivious of the spiritual ramifications of a Godless leader of government

Keep up your good work and God bless you all, Stephen

JULIA DILLARD IS AN ATHEIST AND IS A MEMBER OF EMILYS LIST PRO-ABORTION!

    CHRISTIANS BEWARE.

Our Holy Bible warns about ATHEISTS:

Psalm 14:1, “The fool says in his heart, ‘There is no God.’ They are corrupt, their deeds are vile; there is no-one who does good.”

Psalm 53:1 then adds, “The fool says in his heart, ‘There is no God.’ They are corrupt, and their ways are vile; there is no one who does good.”

Just a response to Karl – comment posted 7 August 11:07pm.

I attend CityLife church, where Mark Conner is the Senior Pastor.

I also am a supporter of Pastor Danny too.

Unfortunately, you can’t always believe what you read in the media. They have a tendency to twist comments said, and take them out of context! They are in the business of selling newspapers, not reporting facts!

I was concerned with the quote from Mark Conner in The Age article. I wrote to Mark via his Blog page. Mark confirmed on there that his comments were taken out of context. He does believe that the PM having a christian faith is VERY important BUT that it is not the ONLY thing to consider when voting at this election, in that you also need to consider the policies of the political PARTY you are voting in. We do not vote in our PM directly, the political party nominates their leader, not the general public!, as Julia Gillard’s recent coup over Kevin Rudd has proven! We vote in the political party! If you want to see his response for yourself in full, below is a link to his Blog – http://markconner.typepad.com/catch_the_wind/2010/08/does-the-prime-minister-need-to-be-a-christian.html

Pastor Danny has also been misquoted in the past, and his comments taken out of context.

I would suggest that if someone is quoted in the media saying something that you don’t agree with, that it is a far more christian thing to do to approach that person & check the authenticity of the quote first, before writing comments on other website blogs canning that person’s comments with out knowing all the facts first!

Congratulations to both Pastor Danny & Mark Conner for the amazing work they do, using their specific God given strengths, to further God’s kingdom. Personally, I am in-debted to both CTFM & CityLife for the way that God has used both these ministries to take me spiritually to the strongest level of faith I have ever had.

Much love to Pastor Danny & family!

    Nicole.
