Pastor who survived the Genocide in Rwanda at CTFM this Sun / 6PR Radio interview in Perth / Congratulations to Pastors & Leaders

Dear family & friends in Christ,

It is with great joy we bring to your attention that Pastor David, originally from Rwanda now living in Canada, will be speaking at the CTFM base in Melbourne (Hallam) this Sunday the 8th of August at 6.30pm. This man of God has an amazing testimony of how the Lord miraculously saved him in 1994 when the Hutus massacred the Tutsis in Rwanda, with around 2 million people losing their lives.

Pastor David was formerly a Muslim, but gave his life to Jesus when the Lord miraculously healed him from an incurable disease on his deathbed in the hospital. Then his family wanted to kill him. One of his family members loaded the gun to shoot him, but Jesus appeared and said, “Do not touch My child.” This led to the salvation of the whole Muslim family, Islam to Jesus!

Sadly, a few years later when the massacre took place in Rwanda, Pastor David lost 66 members of his own family, which included his mother, father and all his brothers. Today he says, “Thank God my family accepted Jesus. I know now that I will see them again.”

I am sure you would be greatly blessed by his powerful and very challenging testimony. Do not miss this Sunday night the 8th August at 6.30pm.

Revival fire falls in Rockingham WA as people are radically transformed

Ministering in Rockingham, WA, PerthMinistering in Rockingham, WA, PerthDear family & friends in Christ,

At CTFM the last 2 years have seen the beginning of our dreams come alive in Australia after much prayer and fasting!

For the past 10 years we have been crying out to the Lord in intercessory prayer for His supernatural anointing to be poured out all across this Great South Land to see Australia come back to Jesus through a Holy Ghost Revival of God’s Mighty Miracles, Signs & Wonders!

Well once again the Spirit of God moved most mightily in Rockingham WA (one hour from Perth) in a small church where Pastor Daniel ministered over the past weekend. Every meeting with 70-80 people went on for more than 3 hours with people absolutely soaking in the presence of God, as the Holy Ghost fire and mighty hand of the Lord radically transformed people’s lives!

Some people travelled a long way to get to the revival meetings and were so blessed as the Holy Spirit ministered to every single person through Pas Daniel with words of knowledge, prophecy, healing, and miracles! Many who received the prophetic words were shouting for joy, as they saw the love of God for each person present at the meetings!

One lady testified, “My husband kicked me out of the house and threw the keys in the garden. So I picked the keys up and went off to work. I got back home on Friday night and went to bed. My husband came home late that night. I was not sure what he would do, but praise God he had come to church and got touched by the power of God. Thank you Pastor Daniel my husband is a changed man now and our marriage is restored.” (more…)

A Very Special Invitation To The 10th Anniversary Of RUA Prayer Meetings / Praying For Federal Election 2010

United In Prayer At RUA Meeting

Dear family & friends in Christ,

On this Friday the 6th of August we will be celebrating the 10th Anniversary of the Rise Up Australia national prayer movement which has been rapidly spreading across the land of Australia bringing hundreds of praying Christians from many churches and denominations to their knees to cry unto the Lord for our nation’s transformation!

With more than 60 locations having RUA prayer meetings each month, this interdenominational prayer movement under the leadership of Pr Daniel through the guidance of the Holy Spirit, has brought back a culture of fervent prayer to the church, which was desperately lacking.

Pr Daniel stated, “In the year 2000 while I was ministering in Ethiopia, the Lord gave me a strategy to transform Australia through United Prayer, Fasting and Repentance by 2020. I praise God we have now reached the halfway mark and 10 years of corporate prayer has certainly shifted the spiritual climate over Australia. I believe the next 10 years will bring a great harvest into the Kingdom of God.”Australia For Jesus!

I thank God for the many prayer movements in our nation that the Lord is moving through. RUA is a ministry wing of CTFM and has taken a stand to lead the way in corporate repentance for the Body of Christ, to pray in Spirit and in Truth, to breakdown demonic strongholds, and to destroy the works of the enemy, in order for our nation to experience a radical reformation through the manifest glory of God’s presence. I want to see my generation rise up and fulfil God’s prophetic plans for Australia and the nations in preparing the multitudes to meet the Bride Groom King, Jesus our Lord and Saviour, who I believe is coming back very, very soon!”

There will be a very special focus on the Federal Election, as we expect some Christian Candidates standing for election to be present at the meeting.  They will be given the opportunity to share for a few minutes and then we will pray for them and the election.

Moves to Ban Brothels in Australia’s Bible Belt

Gordan Moyesby Teresa Neumann : Jun 30, 2010 : Phil Mercer – BBC

“We have to have a reformation of morality and ethics and unfortunately by legalizing prostitution, it is only another nail in the coffin of decency.”

(Australia)—Although prostitution is by-and-large legal in most of Australia, the BBC reports that efforts are now underway to ban brothels in one of Australia’s fastest-growing regions.

Peter Dimbrowsky, mayor of the Hills Shire Council in Sydney, was quoted as saying there is no place for the sex industry in the “Bible Belt” district, home to one of the largest churches in the country.

“While we’ve deliberately made it difficult for them to be successful in this area, we’ve also said that we deserve the right to say no to them if we feel that a sufficient number of people are sufficiently against this type of application,” he said. “You should be able to argue that in this part of Sydney or in any part of a city where it is family-orientated, it may be better for them not to be there at all.”

Colombian Christians Bless New President amid “Great Optimism” Over Nation’s Future

Juan Santosby Teresa Neumann : Jul 7, 2010 : Wesley W. J. Richards – Christian Today

“When someone is waiting with patience God rewards them greatly…I believe this is the Kairos (timing) of God for your life…The hand of God has supported everything you’ve done and will continue to support you. Thank you for not anticipating events, thank you for waiting, because in His time you will receive the reward.”

(Colombia)—The new President of Colombia, Dr. Juan Manual Santos was overwhelmingly elected with the support from one of the world’s fastest growing churches winning 69% of the vote.

As reported in Christian Today, during his campaign Santos attended campaign meetings hosted by Misión Carismática Internacional (MCI), with more than 200,000 members and leaders from the church were also reportedly elected to the Senate, Congress and Andean Parliament for the ‘U’ party, led by Santos.

At an MCI conference earlier this year, Pastor Wes Richards, from King’s Church International in Windsor told Santos: “You helped to give this nation hope in dark moments of despair and when you have faced entrenched evil. We are all very grateful for the contribution you have made to the security of this nation.”

Australian Election – Will God’s shepherds rightly lead His sheep? Pr Daniel

Pastor Danny NalliahDear family & friends in Christ,

The body of Christ and our nation of Australia are at a very critical point in time.

We are facing a pivotal crossroad that will determine our corporate destiny of either exalting God’s righteousness and receiving His favour, or exalting unrighteousness (sin) and receiving His righteous judgment.

In the Church throughout our nation, the sheep desperately need their shepherds to lead from the front, under the authority and direction of the Chief Shepherd Himself, our Lord Jesus Christ. God by His amazing grace has given the Church another prophetic opportunity to see our nation of Australia come back to Jesus through either blessing or persecution. Which do you choose??

In the 2007 Federal Election many were confused as to whether Kevin Rudd was a true Christian or not, but I’m sure time has proven as to what sort of a Christian he was. Firstly, before the election when he refused to directly answer the question by a spectator at the footy finals, “Is Jesus the Son of God?” He replied, “I go to church on Sunday.”

Then at his very last speech in Parliament as PM, he stated in his closing statement, “I better thank the great God and creator of us all, I thank him – or her – as well.” See http://www.theaustralian.com.au/full-transcript-of-kevin-rudds-farewell-speech/story-fn5vfgwx-1225883796571

How can Mr Rudd not realise that the Lord’s prayer starts with “Our Father who art in heaven” when they pray it every day in Parliament? Or was he actually mocking almighty God, the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit??  You be the judge. (more…)

First the Power, then the Promise: God’s Light Show over Chicago

Rainbow over ChicagoLightning over Chicagoby Aimee Herd : Jun 30, 2010

He covers His hands with lightning, and commands it to strike.” Job 36:32

God has always said there would be signs in the heavens and in the earth. This could be a sign that our government, where most of the new team are from—Chicago—should pay attention to the God who is the “Father of Lights.” And so should we all pay close attention to the signs sent from Heaven. –Steve Shultz, BCN.

A video camera set up by Craig Shimala captured some amazing action in the sky over Chicago recently, and it’s been posted online in slow motion, making it all the more remarkable.

In the first video, several chains of white-hot lightning are seen connecting with familiar landmarks outlining the Chicago skyline—a “triple strike” on the Willis Tower, Trump International Hotel and Tower and the John Hancock Building.

But the light-show wasn’t over, and fortunately Shimala kept the camera rolling for what came next—shown on the second video. (more…)

Make Your Voice Heard – Support School Chaplaincy

School children in Australia - Next GenerationDear family & friends in Christ,

A few different people have asked me to forward to our network the following email from ACCESS Ministries.

I am doing so because I love the next generation of our nation and I fully support the Christian Chaplaincy Program introduced by the Howard Government.

However, I personally prefer not acting after the horse has bolted, nor do I want to see an ambulance at the bottom of the mountain when I can prevent it by having a fence on the top. I hope you get the drift of what I am getting at.

When you vote, you just don’t vote a PM, but the whole party. Unfortunately, what we sow is what we reap.
Please read the following email prayerfully, act promptly by writing or contacting your MP ASAP, and let’s vote Godly men and women into Parliament.

Blessings/ Pr Daniel Nalliah (more…)

Media Release: Five reasons why Australians should not vote for Ms Gillard as PM – vote for Labor is a vote for the Greens

PM Julia GillardMedia release – For immediate release

Five reasons why Australians should not vote for Ms Gillard as PM – vote for Labor is a vote for the Greens

A vote for Labor means a vote for the Greens, according to Dr Daniel Nalliah, President of Catch the Fire Ministries (CTFM) – an inter-denominational Para-church Ministry with more than 60 bases across Australia and reaching tens of thousands of voters across the nation.

Dr Nalliah has given five reasons why Australians should not vote for Ms Gillard as Prime Minister at the upcoming federal election on August 21.

Central to the objection is the realization that a vote for Labor will essentially be a vote for the Greens. “Do you really want Bob Brown and the Greens to run our country?” Dr Nalliah said.

“Ms Gillard’s close alliance with the Greens means if Australians vote for Labor they will actually be voting for the Greens,” he said.

1. A vote for Labor will be a vote for Greens. “The current alliance that Labor has forged with the Greens is a real disaster for Australia and Australians. We are sure that this election will be a very close one in which Labor will have to go to bed with the Greens to get into power.  This will result in Greens policy constantly reflected in every decision Labor makes. FAITH UNDER FIRE

The Attorney general has been asked to investigate arrests of Christians – State representative says in his speech, religious rights ‘can’t be just pushed aside’

A lawmaker in Michigan is calling on the state attorney general to investigate the arrests of four Christians at a recent Arab festival in the city of Dearborn, saying they were just “engaging festival goers in conversation about religion on public property.”

The call comes from state Rep. Tom McMillin, who has introduced a resolution to that effect.

His concern is over the arrests of four people during the Arab Festival in Dearborn, where police have been accused of enforcing Islamic law.

Indonesian Muslims Call for Halt to ‘Christianization’

MosqueBy Compass Direct News Sarah Page  – Sat 3 July 2010

Muslim organizations in Bekasi, West Java, on Sunday (June 27) declared their intention to establish paramilitary units in local mosques and a “mission center” to oppose “ongoing attempts to convert people to Christianity,” according to the national Antara news agency.

“If the Muslims in the city can unite, there will be no more story about us being openly insulted by other religions,” Ahmad Salimin Dani, head of the Bekasi Islamic Missionary Council, announced at the gathering. “The center will ensure that Christians do not act out of order.”

Observing an increasing number of house churches, Muslim organizations have accused Bekasi Christians of aggressive proselytizing. The Rev. Simon Timorason of the West Java Christian Communication Forum (FKKB), however, told Compass that most Christians in the area do not proselytize and meet only in small home fellowships due to the lack of officially recognized worship venues.

Many Christian seminary graduates prefer to remain on Java rather than relocate to distant islands, Timorason added, making West Java the ideal place to launch new home-based fellowships for different denominations. But neighbors see only the multiplication of churches, he said, and therefore suspect Muslims are converting to the Christian faith.

“The ideal solution is to have one building with a permit to be used by different denominations in each housing complex,” Timorason said. “If every denomination wants their own church in the same area, it’s a problem.”

Kanti Prajogo, chairman of the Congress committee, had hoped to present a written declaration of intent to city officials at the mosque gathering, but officials did not respond to his invitation, according to The Jakarta Post.

Around 200 people attended the June 20 Congress, representing local organizations such as the Bekasi Interfaith Dialogue Forum, the Bekasi Movement Against Apostasy, the local chapters of Muhammadiyah and the Indonesian Ulema Council (MUI) – two of Indonesia’s largest Muslim organizations – and the Islamic Defenders Front (FPI), well known for its aggressive opposition to Christians and other non-Muslim groups.
