Australian Election – Will God’s shepherds rightly lead His sheep? Pr Daniel

Pastor Danny NalliahDear family & friends in Christ,

The body of Christ and our nation of Australia are at a very critical point in time.

We are facing a pivotal crossroad that will determine our corporate destiny of either exalting God’s righteousness and receiving His favour, or exalting unrighteousness (sin) and receiving His righteous judgment.

In the Church throughout our nation, the sheep desperately need their shepherds to lead from the front, under the authority and direction of the Chief Shepherd Himself, our Lord Jesus Christ. God by His amazing grace has given the Church another prophetic opportunity to see our nation of Australia come back to Jesus through either blessing or persecution. Which do you choose??

In the 2007 Federal Election many were confused as to whether Kevin Rudd was a true Christian or not, but I’m sure time has proven as to what sort of a Christian he was. Firstly, before the election when he refused to directly answer the question by a spectator at the footy finals, “Is Jesus the Son of God?” He replied, “I go to church on Sunday.”

Then at his very last speech in Parliament as PM, he stated in his closing statement, “I better thank the great God and creator of us all, I thank him – or her – as well.” See http://www.theaustralian.com.au/full-transcript-of-kevin-rudds-farewell-speech/story-fn5vfgwx-1225883796571

How can Mr Rudd not realise that the Lord’s prayer starts with “Our Father who art in heaven” when they pray it every day in Parliament? Or was he actually mocking almighty God, the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit??  You be the judge. (more…)

Make Your Voice Heard – Support School Chaplaincy

School children in Australia - Next GenerationDear family & friends in Christ,

A few different people have asked me to forward to our network the following email from ACCESS Ministries.

I am doing so because I love the next generation of our nation and I fully support the Christian Chaplaincy Program introduced by the Howard Government.

However, I personally prefer not acting after the horse has bolted, nor do I want to see an ambulance at the bottom of the mountain when I can prevent it by having a fence on the top. I hope you get the drift of what I am getting at.

When you vote, you just don’t vote a PM, but the whole party. Unfortunately, what we sow is what we reap.
Please read the following email prayerfully, act promptly by writing or contacting your MP ASAP, and let’s vote Godly men and women into Parliament.

Blessings/ Pr Daniel Nalliah (more…)

Media Release: Five reasons why Australians should not vote for Ms Gillard as PM – vote for Labor is a vote for the Greens

PM Julia GillardMedia release – For immediate release

Five reasons why Australians should not vote for Ms Gillard as PM – vote for Labor is a vote for the Greens

A vote for Labor means a vote for the Greens, according to Dr Daniel Nalliah, President of Catch the Fire Ministries (CTFM) – an inter-denominational Para-church Ministry with more than 60 bases across Australia and reaching tens of thousands of voters across the nation.

Dr Nalliah has given five reasons why Australians should not vote for Ms Gillard as Prime Minister at the upcoming federal election on August 21.

Central to the objection is the realization that a vote for Labor will essentially be a vote for the Greens. “Do you really want Bob Brown and the Greens to run our country?” Dr Nalliah said.

“Ms Gillard’s close alliance with the Greens means if Australians vote for Labor they will actually be voting for the Greens,” he said.

1. A vote for Labor will be a vote for Greens. “The current alliance that Labor has forged with the Greens is a real disaster for Australia and Australians. We are sure that this election will be a very close one in which Labor will have to go to bed with the Greens to get into power.  This will result in Greens policy constantly reflected in every decision Labor makes. Mohammed (A Former Muslim) now preaching Jesus at CTFM this Sunday

Dear family & friends in Christ,

Mohammed a former Muslim from Pakistan, now a mighty Christian man of God, will be preaching at the CTFM base in Hallam at the 9.30am service. This man of God was once a very prominent and radical Muslim leader in Pakistan who hated the Christians and Jews, but today he absolutely loves everyone with the love of Jesus!

He was born into a very strict and radical Muslim family in Pakistan.  His father was one of the leading Islamic clerics in the country. When his Muslim parents found out that their son had become a Christian, they wanted to kill him, but most amazingly God protected him.

This dear brother in Christ has served with the Pakistan Air Force for many years. Once he was born-again he began to share his Christian faith with everyone he met, including his Muslim mates in the Air Force. When the Air Force found out that he had become a Christian he was sentenced to jail. After 4 months he was miraculously released from prison.

What an amazing weekend in the increasing Spirit of breakthrough and revival it has been in Hallam (Melbourne), Gosford (Central Coast), and Maitland, NSW!

Every week is getting better with an ever increasing outpouring of the Holy Spirit and Fire!

Last Friday night was such a glorious night with the Watoto Children’s Choir from Uganda, Africa ministering through anointed praise and worship at the CTFM base in Hallam. We had a packed out crowd of over 300 people from many different denominations, churches, and ethnicities as the Spirit of God deeply touched the hearts of many through tWatoto Children\'s Choir at CTFMhe beautiful children. Around 50 people made a public commitment to Jesus as Lord and Saviour.

On Sunday Pr Howard Bass from Beersheba, Israel shared the prophetic word of God and many were greatly impacted when they heard what the Lord is doing in the Middle East and in the nation of Israel.  He also shared on the many serious challenges facing the nation of Israel and the desperate need to pray for Israel every day.

Pr Daniel ministered in Gosford, (Central Coast) NSW on the weekend as hundreds who gathered to hear the word of God were mightily touched and tremendously blessed through the ministry of the Holy Spirit. Around 25 people made a commitment to Jesus as Lord and Saviour. Many young people were so radically impacted and set on fire for Jesus. Around 18 people (including many youth) were baptised in the Holy Spirit and prayed in tongues for the very first time. Many others were healed and set free. One lady travelled from Newcastle to share how God healed her from partial blindness when Pr Daniel prayed for her over the telephone a few months ago. Everyone  was so excited to hear her miraculous testimony.

‘Burqa ban’ (face-covering) bill in NSW parliament

Islamic women wearing Burqa (face-covering)

by Salt Shakers

Last month, Rev Fred Nile of the Christian Democratic Party tried to introduce a private member’s bill into the NSW Legislative Council that would ban the wearing of face-coverings that conceal identity. This has become known as the ‘burqa bill’ as it would prohibit the wearing of the full face-covering burqa and niqab.
He couldn’t get permission to explain the Bill – the Council voted against allowing a debate.

However, he has since been granted permission to introduce and explain the Bill. This explanation was supported by most of the MLCs – with the exception of the four Greens and family First MP Gordon Moyes (see article at bottom of report).

His media release says that, in his speech on 22 June, “Amidst angry protests, Rev Nile gave a detailed speech addressing accusations of racism and religious discrimination, stating the bill had nothing to do with race or religion.”

Read Fred’s media release –
http://www.cdp.org.au/media-release/78-people-power-forces-introduction-of-burqa-bill.html

In his speech, which is included in the media release, he said “The purpose of the Summary Offences Amendment (Full-face Coverings Prohibition Bill 2010) is relatively straightforward. It is based on the Belgium bill. This bill is to prohibit the concealing of a personal identity whilst in public without a reasonable excuse to do so. As I have already stated, nowhere does the bill mention “burqa” or “Muslim”. While this legislation has become known as the burqa bill, the scope of the bill is much broader than just that one item of clothing.” (more…)

Culcairn NSW – Woman raised from the dead shares testimony / Muslims give their lives to Jesus

People surrendering to the Lord at the altar in CulcairnDiana who was raised from the dead next to Ps Daniel and memebers of CTFM teamDear family & friends in Christ,

1) We give all glory and honour to Jesus the King of kings and the Lord of lords for His mighty hand increasingly at work in our Nation of Australia!

The last few weeks have been absolutely exciting and glorious, including this past weekend as Ps Daniel and a team from CTFM ministered in Culcairn, NSW.

Over the weekend hundreds gathered to hear the word of God and almost every one present was mightily touched by the Spirit of God. So many were healed and mightily challenged to rise up and take a stand for Jesus.   Around 18 people, including many youth and children, got baptised in the Holy Spirit and prayed in tongues for the very first time in their life.

One of the highlights of the weekend was that Diana from Wagga, Wagga, who was raised from the dead in Israel by the power of God, shared her testimony of God’s amazing grace.   People were just absolutely shocked when they saw Diana in person.   What a mighty God we serve! (more…)

New Prime Minister / Mount Ainslie / Election 2007 – By Ps Daniel Nalliah

Pastor Daniel NalliahKevin Rudd and Julia GillardDear family & friends in Christ,

It is so great to be back home in Australia.  I am sure we all know that there is no place like home.  Our time in Israel, Jordan, Sri Lanka & Malaysia was fantastic. While I was in Sri Lanka I heard the shocking news that Kevin Rudd was no longer the PM but Julia Gillard had taken the top job.

I received many emails asking me what I thought about it and what’s going to happen to Australia with a self confessed Atheist as Prime Minister.   Sorry for not getting back to you before, but I was so very busy since returning from overseas and have also been reading many articles about this issue and seeking God’s wisdom before making any comments.

As you all know by now I tell people, ‘what they need to hear and not what they like to hear.’   Let’s give credit where it is due.  Unlike Kevin Rudd, at least PM Gillard has been honest in telling the people that she DOES NOT BELIEVE IN GOD.   However, is this the beginning of the end for Australia ??  This will depend on how you vote at the next election which could be anytime between now and November 2010.

In October 2009 we at CTFM carried out a spiritual warfare prayer assignment with the help of many other prayer warriors on Mt Ainslie in Canberra and around 30 other mountains across the country. We specifically prayed for rain, the breaking of the drought and that there would be no major bush fires.  Then we stretched our hands over federal parliament and prayed for ungodly leaders in parliament to be removed and righteousness to be restored.
